The outdoor space is awesome. We could bring our Golden Retriever! On my second latte - overall a great place to visit. The girls working here were DELIGHTFUL! Thanks for having us.

I have not been disappointed! The service is great and very friendly. Good place to have some dessert with different choices of ice cream. The coffee was tasty and you could taste real coffee flavor which some coffee places tend to lack. However, if I was to critique anything it would only be that coffee was somewhat bitter and wish there was more chocolate to my mocha. I was hesitant to put that part in due to it being the very first day The Local was opened with their drive-thru. Everyone is still learning and with trial and error, I’m sure their will be improvement.Lastly, I would like to note that they reply quickly on their socials. They’re great at responding to your questions.

An exceptionally excellent place for coffee and ice cream and conversation. I did not know waffle cones could be so delicious untilmy wife and I began indulging in them at The Local. The staff is friendly and always smiling. We have generally enjoyed the outdoor comfort, but this evening we ordered via the drive thru. Our mini Aussie shepherd even got a doggie cone!

The Local has a ways to go in the area of aesthetics because they opened before any finishing touches could grace this humble place. Also, they only serve coffee drinks and a very limited dessert menu which includes pop tarts (although they were decorated). This was the perfect place for an acoustic jam session with lots of chairs outside and where social distancing could be observed. Well go back in a month to check on their progress.

I am surprised they have a vegan cookie and cream icecream. It is more like a coconut cream and cookie, it is delicious.

I want to love this place, I really do. Unfortunately, the staff seemed ill prepared to provide guidance on their unique drink options or pastry choices. The building is unfinished with multiple tripping and safety hazards throughout.That being said the drink and pastry I had were awesome. Once the building is complete, this will be an amazing location. LG needs places like this.

Absolutely amazing service! What a fun place to go and capture good vibes while hanging out. Just what La Grande needed! The ice cream is phenomenal and fresh! Coffee was fantastic. Will definitely visit again.

This is such a treat place to justchill & hang out with friends. Gluten free cones, amazing ice cream, and coffee that is out of this world. On top of it, they owners are really friendly and take the time to chat with you. Excellent place for all ages with indoor & outdoor seating.

If you want to live in the height of luxury get an affogato: scoop of ice cream with a shot of espresso on top!

Loved this place! Owner was very friendly. Hot chocolate was very creamy. The cheese Danish was quite flakey and oh so good!!! Will definitely be back!

The local is a new coffee spot in La Grande with indoor and outdoor seating, excellent coffee options and homemade ice cream and waffle cones. They have a drive thru for those in a hurry. Definitively worth checking out this coffee shop!

I decided to give The Local a try on my way to work the other day. The drink I like is a little tricky but the young man made it just how I like it! I also tried the S’mores Ice Cream on a waffle cone and it really hit the spot! I’ll definitely be going back!

The coffee was some of the best Ive had in a long time. The ice cream was also delicious. I cant wait to see it when its completely finished!

This is only a review of the coffee--I ordered a Mexican Mocha this morning and it is terrible. It is very spicy and not sweet at all. Definitely not something I will order again.

We stopped by to try. Ordered ice cream. The Lemon Berry is so good! Not sure the flavor of the Blue Moon ice cream my wife had but it was good but the LemonBerry, OUT OF SIGHT YUMMY! Word of advise, order in a cup or wafflecone because the ice cream is hard and doesnt stay on top of a sugar cone so well. Gonna try the coffee tiks weekend.

This place is great. The ice cream is amazing and I think it’s a great new place for our town. The only thing I don’t like that bothers me is they ask you if you want to leave a tip when you use a card in the drive thru. It honestly makes me uncomfortable and I feel like I have to say yes. If you say no, it makes you look rude. I should be able to go and get ice cream to-go without feeling like I have to tip every single time. If I was dining in and being served, that’s a different story but we don’t tip Dairy Queen or Mc Donald’s at the drive thru.
