The furniture store part is cool, but coffee shop/seating area is really the best part! Be sure to bring mugs you dont want anymore for their take a mug leave a mug wall

I NEVER write reviews...EVER! BUT, Ill do it this once because BR is an amazing place. Yes - its my home away from home. Yes - Melissa and her staff are incredible. Yes - its unique and quaint. Yes - while Im no shopper the home decor items, jewelry, books, furniture, etc are great quality. I know this because I recently bought furniture (silver lining to a house fire and insurance replacement money!). And YES - I even recommend the coffee! This would be a great place to stop by during the holidays for a drink, a Christmas gift, or a beautiful new piece of furniture! Sounds like theyre paying me to advertise...no...I just really love the place and the people here.

Wow, wow, wow! This place is awesome! It’s a furniture store and a coffee shop! I wouldn’t expect that to be a thing. The coffee shop side is so cute and inviting. They have all kinds of board games, plenty of space and even free snacks! And then the furniture is really cute!

The atmosphere here is phenomenal! I fell in love as soon as I walked in! A combination coffee shop and market, I didnt leave wanting. The baristas are so kind, even amid a lunch rush on a Saturday. They offer lovely decorations for the home, jewelry, stationery products, and a place to sit and play chess if you wish. Well definitely return!

This is a really cute coffee shop/furniture store hybrid! I came for the coffee, so I cant speak as much to the furniture side, but it appears quality. Coffee was good with your typical coffee shop prices. One exception, at least while I was there they had a completely free snack bar. Im talking free scones, chips, dip etc. Absolutely incredible! Backroads also has a really nice vibe. Very comfortable and a great location to relax and talk with friends at.

Coffe shop/home decor shop. Interesting with a nice coffe selection too.

I tried the fried dill pickles spears. Did really care for them. The skin was to tough. The batter was fried too long to make it hard and crispy. Tried the fried green tomatoes now they were okay and they were good. Got a 3 piece chicken dinner white meat. They come with two bras and a wing. Plus two side dishes with the dinner. They said I could have two side dishes I could have fries. So I got that as two sides. When it came out it was a size of a medium fries. On the receipt there was a charge of $0.50 more for the difference of fries for the two sides. The dinner comes with two sides he told me I could have fries as both sides. Wasnt told that I had to pay extra. Which I know is this $0.50 but yet. He kept the drinks up and he was a good waiter. My friend was with me and she ordered a potato salad. When she got it the potato salad was way too sweet. She didnt like the potato salad. Instead of making it right they just said they were sorry that she didnt like it. Thats a recipe came from Nashville it was the original recipe. The coleslaw look so juicy and runny. Plus it was way too sweet. Now the chicken was good and I like the chicken I like the flavor the chicken it was well done. Overall I give it about a three stars review.

While visiting Knoxville, my wife and I found ourselves looking for something to do and wanted to stop for coffee.. my wife cane across this from instagram so we decided to try and find it.. we enjoyed amazing coffee in the most interesting way.. admiring fascinating art and extremely creative furniture options.. with our favorite being the back patio swinging bed
