What a wonderful find! Unless you learned about this place from someone else or online, you could walk by and not notice it. Super friendly guy. The biscuit was warm and absolutely delicious! My coffee was on point as well. Highly recommend for a quick grab n go though there are maybe 4 seats inside if you need to eat there.

Not the best picture but a warm cheddar and garlic biscuit with egg and tomato! SO good and the owner was a great guy to talk to with such a positive attitude. They sell out so make sure to try and go early. Love that you can add the egg, bacon, jelly and all the toppings.

We were so happy to have found this Knoxville Gem! You can tell the passion that is put into this place and its food. He was so excited about everything he made, we were very excited to try it! He even offered a sample of something new he was working on. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. We ordered to go online and it was very easy. Everything was awesome and fresh. Wow. This biscuit exceeded my expectations. Buttery, flakey, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, just the right amount of cheesey. This guy knows what hes doing! We needed a quick bite to eat for lunch while on our road trip and Matts was the perfect little stop. We parked on Market St (a few metered parking spots) and walked the block to the shop. It was around noon and understandable that he was out of bacon. Im sure it would make any sandwich better, but our build-your-own biscuit, egg and cheese sandwiches were possibly the best Ive had. The chipotle cream cheese is a perfect spicy addition, highly recommend. The baby fully approved of his plain buttered biscuit and was drooling for more. Dont pass up this place. Ill look forward to the day when he has locations in Indy!

Lovely flakey, cakey biscuits in several types: Plain, cheese, cheese & garlic, feta & chive, depending on the day. Fillings include sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. Go early: He closes when he sells out, which was in about 2 hours the Saturday morning I was there. Neat place to sit outside, plus a few window stools inside. Parking is nonexistent except for a paid lot & distant street parking. Website menu not really useful because he sells out. Just go & order from his chalkboard. Worth the adventure!

Such a neat little find in downtown Knox! The service is great and the owner is so courteous towards customers! They are only open for to-go orders at the moment, but everything is fast and tasty nonetheless! Highly recommend the Nancy for the ultimate flavor experience. The chai latte was also amazing!

Went on a Saturday morning and they were pretty busy but got us everything quickly and even brought out a biscuit for my puppy! Everything was amazing and delicious! They were out of some of the main ingredients but I think if you go earlier there is more options.

We walked up to what we thought was the entrance to Matt Robbs Biscuits & Brew, 800 Market Street, found a courtyard and guarded, locked door -- but that was the entrance to the Baker Federal Building! Robbs B & B is nestled in the entrance, small and neat with a display of the best biscuits within an eight hour drive. Probably the safest biscuit business in the world, too. We sampled the biscuits and gravy and a biscuit, cheese, bacon and gravy sandwich with fresh brewed, black coffee. The best. If youre lucky, Matt will be there to talk and share biscuit stories and great recommendations about Knoxville food.

If you havent been here yet, GO! This place is all-around great. Cutest little corner coffee shop in Downtown Knoxville. And I do mean little! With covid rules, only 2 customers can be inside at a time, but there are tables out in an open breezeway to sit at to wait, which is preferred right now anyway. All orders are placed through mattrobbs.com. It can be completely no-contact pickup if you wanted. Prices are normal cafe prices, but cheaper (and tastier) than K-Brew. Matt is personable and friendly and makes the best brown sugar latte you will ever have! Plus peep the pumpkin foam art pic! The biscuits are flaky and amazing, the bacon is cooked so perfectly, even the pig would approve. Check it out. You wont be disappointed. 👍👍

I was sceptical about a garlic cheddar biscuit for breakfast but let me say what a pleasant surprise it was! One of the best breakfasts Ive had in Knoxville. Matt was a absolute joy to meet. He even knew my hometown of Polk County TN. (1 1/2 hours away). Definitely will be back!

Oh my, the best biscuits. I usually don’t go for biscuits because they tend to be dry, crumbly, and salty, but Matt Robb’s are the epitome of biscuit perfection. Okay, I have to admit, I’ve had coffee from San Fran to NYC, and this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. Matt’s “Cold Brew” is an original recipe he altered from a brew he tried in New York and brought it here to the south for everyone to enjoy. Not only is the coffee amazing, but his made-from-scratch biscuits are impossible to beat. Originally from the north, I had no idea biscuits could taste so good. Whether you’re a Knoxville native or just in town for the day, I highly recommend stopping in here for a biscuit and a latte.

These were amazing! I never would’ve put strawberry jam on a biscuit, but it was his recommendation and was so good. It’s honestly a little pricey, because they charge for everything you add like $1 for bacon + $1 for cheese etc, but it was very tasty and filling. We would definitely go back.

Just fantastic. Wish I could eat a biscuit from here every morning. This was my first visit. I got a plain biscuit with bacon, egg and honey parsley butter and my husband got a plain biscuit with sausage and cheddar. Both were excellent ( and the bacon was perfect - I am picky about that)- cant wait to try my next combination and it was such a super friendly place.
