I had my SUV here because my transmission went out, this business had my vehicle for 6 weeks! They put two transmissions in that didn’t work and then ordered the wrong one before finally putting one in that they said worked. They told me I needed new tires but failed to mentioned that I need rotors and break pads. When I picked my vehicle up my tail lights were all cracked and it still wasn’t driving right. I took it to another mechanic less than a week after I got it back and they said this shop should have replaced the rear main seal when they did the transmission and they also over filled the transmission fluid which could have blown the transmission again and caused a crack in my radiator from overheating. They put TWO extra quarts of transmission fluid! When I called silvers and sons to let them know they were extremely unprofessional and made excuses for everything.

I took my Honda Civic about a week ago. Needed assistance with the Starter. The work was done in one day and the price compared too other places was affordable. The gentleman that worked on the car was knowledgeable and a cool dude. I asked for a diagnosis and they advised of a air fuel ratio sensor if I remember correctly. Things have been great ever since and I haven’t had any issues 🤞🏾 I will recommend this place too others and if I have other car problems I’ll be reaching out too them first.Thanks for the help and many blessings.

I was recommended this shop from a family friend and thank god for that. After trying several different mechanics in the Kissimmee area, these guys fixed an annoying oil leak in my Pathfinder and also replaced a starter on a separate occasion in just a couple hours. There’s never any run around. The pricing is always reasonable and they do quick and professional work. Also the young lady at the front is very nice and always helps out when you call. The drive to this shop is definitely worth it.

My white supra was there for some time. Sloppy installation zip ties and wires hanging, Paid for transmission cooler to be installed and the fan to the cooler was not installed. Mark is extremely arrogant! and will not take advice from the manufacturer that built the product. He somehow thinks he knows better than engineers. When installing my drive shaft he forced it into place not modifying the brake wire holder, causing it to grind down the drive shaft to the point of it becoming useless. All the bolts around the drive shaft where completely loose. If I would have given the car any gas It would have resulted in an accident. He once told me a story of why he stopped working on performance cars. After one of his customers picked up his car and accelerated while leaving the shop, he lost control of the car and his customer died on the road in front of his shop, his customer did not even make it down the road. From the looks of the dangerous decisions he made on my car, I now believe that his installation may have something to do with that. If your car is not a Honda civic stay away!Attached is a picture of my car in his shop. All the parts that were ordered for the car were all recommended by him, If not he refused to install them.In the picture I attached you will see Marks master mechanic craftsmanship . As you can see in the picture a huge chunk was taken out of the drive shaft. You can clearly hear the grinding noise when I picked it up. He did not care, He wanted to make room for another car and this is how he let me leave.When I asked him to check the grinding noise I left my car there for another day. Came the next day to pick it up he said it was fine. I took his word for it and towed the car home. The next week I brought the car to VR fabrication and they asked me if Marks previous profession was a butcher in a meat market due to his custom work on the transmission bracket (that he modified to the car) and how he forced the drive shaft into place.If you are looking for a mechanic stay clear from this shop! I highly recommend the guys less than one mile down the street; VR Performance and Fabrication, for any of your automotive needs.

Since moving from The Bronx To Florida, I Really needed a mechanic spot that was very similar to the one I had back in NY. This spot ( yes off the Beaten path) is the place you wanna go if you want someone who is going to be THOROUGH and allow the machine to diagnose whats going on, Then look NO FUTHER!!!! Having to have your car repaired (or in my case realizing it isn’t worth repairing) is never a fun experience, but they really made it so much easier than it could have been. I am new to town and had a few bad experiences with some other auto repairs in the area. Needed my transmission rebuilt on my 2011 Honda crosstour and silvera and sons were reasonably priced, the turn around time was very quick, and customer service is excellent. Im on my way down to Orlando for a vacation, and the wheel bearing goes out on the family van from a pothole on the freeway. We arrive at our resort with the wheel groaning and im scrambling to find a repair shop, and I stumble across Silvera and Sons. I call them up, they get me in within 24 hours, and have the wheel bearing swapped out and ready for pickup by the days end. Very reasonable price, within my time constraints, and excellent work. The mechanic even took the time to show me the part and explained what happened. There is nothing more unsettling than having your car break down far from home and not knowing who to go to about it. Silvera and Sons is modest shop that not only offers expert workmanship at a fair price, but also gives you the peace of mind knowing you get back on the road home safely. First off let me just say Leslie is amazing! They have always been fair on price, and been very professional. I no longer live in the area but will still drive to their shop to have my car fixed. Great work guys!

What is this place we found? is what I asked my brother who accompanied me to this automotive repair shop.  I brought my minivan with what I thought was 2 problems.First problem...My car turned off on me while driving which after research, I thought would be a faulty alternator.Second problem...the car was making some grinding noise whenever I took off fast from zero, which I thought was either some CV joint or bearings problem.I was hoping it wouldnt be a transmission issue but my brother and I thought it could be due to the location of the grinding.  I explained all of this to the friendly receptionist who had me fill out a form and informed me that it would be at least $65 to just see the car, which I signed with no problem.Less than an hour later, receptionist (BTW... shes more than a receptionist since her conversations with clients over the phone and in person showed that she was very knowledgeable on cars) came back to me with the diagnosis.I braced myself. There was some faulty wire which was causing some kind of electrical overload which the mechanic quickly fixed. The grinding noise was actually just a simple motor mount issue that could wait until I got back home to New York City. I asked how much did I owe. They said nothing and refused to charge me the agreed upon $65 initial inspection.They had every opportunity to charge me money, fix what I, with my expert Google search ability, thought to be wrong, and at the very least... charge me, a visitor to the state with limited options, the $65 to inspect my car.So...What is this place we found? We found a breath of fresh air. An honest mechanic shop providing a service based on integrity with an eye on customer service and not just money. Let me tell you my experience. My car was having issues with accellerating in low gear and then the check engine light came on with a trouble code relating to the O2 sensor. I took it to Autozone and Advanced Auto to get confirmation with their OBDII scanners and it was confirmed that I needed an O2 sensor. They gave me a couple options and of course I bought the most expensive one thinking it was going to be an awesome sensor and fix the problem. I took it to a sketchy, dirty looking repair shop accross the street and got it installed for $25. The new O2 sensor looked very different from the original but I put my trust in the mechanic. After all, I’M no mechanic. Turns out, not only did it NOT fix the problem but IMMEDIATELY there was a NEW problem where the engine would die after a cold start. This mechanic just told me to drive it around until the light came on to see if there was another problem; The light never came on but the problem persisted. I even had a couple other mechanics look at my car and they couldn’t figure out the problem.I searched for other repair shops and found Silvera and Sons. First off this is a clean shop that is not cluttered at all. Mark ran my car through a LIVE DATA OBD scanner and is skilled enough to know how to read it and troubleshoot the problems. They ordered a new FACTORY brand O2 sensor and mass airflow sensor and installed them the very next day. The receptionist was very nice and called me to report the progress of the car and called as soon as the job was done. I know the dealership would have charged double or even triple what I paid at Silvera and Sons so what they charged isn’t too bad, especially since my car runs as good as new. Did I mention one of my wires was severed that helped my A/C work? Mark repaired that for me free of charge. And I tried to fix it myself beforehand but couldn’t because, again, I’m no mechanic or electrician.They do not install customer bought parts because they could be incompatible parts, like that O2 sensor from Autozone I had bought.All in all, I plan to take my car there for further repairs.
