Took my wife’s car in to get some major suspension work they handled it with 0 issues Alex called me personally himself told me exactly what’s wrong why what we should replace now what can wait. I wish more businesses functioned this way, it’s real customer service a lot places have lost that. The car drives like new now. Hats off to you Alex and your business you have a customer for life!

Great Place! Came in early with a broken axle, Control Bar Arm, and Sway bar lift I told them I needed my car fixed as fast as it can and it only 5 hours to fix. Alex was a great guy explaining how the progress was going to work and super caring with how important this was to me. Best Prices too!

I had an unfortunate event where squirrels got to my engine and chewed my wires causing my car to nearly not work anymore. I went to this shop with my mom very scared as two woman going to a mechanic. Went to Gonzalez and sons from the good reviews. They definitely lived up to the hype! Walking in, he was so nice and had a very professional lobby and check in/quote system. Got my car fixed for a very reasonable price, and quickly.. now I’m back up and running. Definitely recommend them!

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! My brother took his high performance Mustang here to get new seals and an oil change. Alex assured my brother he could work on this older car with a high performance Windsor engine. They had the car for several days, then told my brother he needed a new water pump, so he told them to replace that too. This shop had the car for 2 WEEKS because they had so much trouble finding the correct parts! My brother had to do the leg work. HE HAD TO FIND THE PARTS FOR ALEX! When he finally gets the car back, Alex said he guaranteed the work for one year. My brother drove the car twice to work. On the second day, the car died. It was bone dry on oil. They did NOT even put oil back in the car!!!!! He texted Alex telling him he was towing the car to his shop (it was on a Friday night), but never received a response. On Monday my husband took my brother down to the shop. Alex said he did not want anything to do with the car and they needed to get it out of there. My husband was upset and told Alex that he needed to make this right. This man SPIT on my husband, which I cannot believe. Not only is he not guaranteeing his work, but he is going to spit on people. We are having the car towed to another shop, but we will be taking this company to court and Alex will LOSE!!! You do not treat people this way and get away with it. We will fight till the very end just for the principle!

I was on vacation and the A.C. went out.. it was very hot in the summer. I went to González and sons too get my repair done. It was on a Saturday. Most shops wont work on your car on the weekend. He called in his Machanic to help me out. Much love for that. He was very kind and very helpful.. also the price was fair. If your ever in Orlando and need car repair hes the one.. Friendly staff and workers, it’s a well organized place and they have plenty of workers that can get every job you need done as I was told by one of the workers there. They take care of you as soon as you walk in, they are informative and got all my questions answered they work pretty fast depending on the job you need done. I got a job done there in an hour and I was outta there in less time that I thought, it’s been almost two days and so far so good. Oil changes are cheap and super fast, I recommended the place.

They said they had availability to look at my car today and when I went there, they said hold on for a sec, then proceeded to small talk with each other while going to the vending machines and just snacking as if a customer wasnt in need. After like 15 minutes of me standing at the window, I went back there and asked if somebody planned on even asking me what was the make and model of my car and what was the problem. They never seemed to care. They took my car keys and said it would be 20 minutes or less. I waited about 30 minutes and still they didnt take my car in so I went out to eat. I came back from eating... Still, they didnt even move my car. They kept acting nonchalant like I was unimportant to them. After being there a total of two hours and accomplishing nothing, I got my keys back and left I do not recommend them simply for lack of good customer service.

I have not used this business as it is not near to me. However I saw a new story about this business and was just touched by how this business is doing what they can to help families who are in need. I would suggest everyone near to them take their vehicles there for repair. Good people like this dont come around every day and I love to see business owners who feel it is more important to help others than make their pockets fat. Was referred by another shop. Replaced my front rotor and brake pads.

I found them on Google and decided to use them based on reviews and fact they were a small family owned business which I can appreciate having my own family business. My AC was not working and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue. I even went back to have other work including a full exhaust installed and other engine parts. I believe they are professional and keep you updated with your car even being a really busy shop. There prices are really good and don’t try to rip you off or just do extra work to charge you more money. They work hard and are good people I will always use them for any of my mechanical needs. Great job!!! 💪🏽

Would never recommend anyone to come to this place they stole the lose changes out my car they didn’t finish the job as well gave me back my car with no breaks they told me I had the wrong parts but when I took my car to a certified mechanic they did the job no problem no issues

They were extremely professional and helpful. We had been shopping around for a shop to repair what we thought was a shift cable problem. However once we got ahold of the shop they were very clear and transparent about everything. They even help us save a ton of money. Not only that but they even took care of everything within an hour. I brought my car in to replace bad shocks and coils and Im SO glad I did. The service was wonderful and respectful. Ive brought my car to other places where I was treated like I was just an ignorant person. Not only was my original problem fixed but a potentially dangerous axel issue I didnt know I had was told to me right away. Even pictures of the broken part were sent to me and I was given informed information to make my own decisions about it without feeling pressured into having more work done. I felt like I was cared for and not just a money sign. Ill absolutely bring my car back for any additional issues.

My BMW started to have a air suspension problem which the dealer quoted me $3,500 to fix. My friend recommended me to Alex and I decided to let him take a look. 2 days later not only Alex fixed it for a quarter of the price he recoded and reprogrammed the difficult systems and recalibrated everything exactly how the dealer would. If it wasn’t for this shop I would of probably had to sell my car. Thank you Gonzalez and Sons auto repair for saving my car.PS I tried calling other shops and they didn’t even want to mess with it

Love this shop, excellent quality on labor and parts, very professional, best prices ever.

I’ll be straight to the point. Our car needed brake pad’s replacement, it was bad. We bring in it, and everyone was so friendly and nice. They take our car in and Alex comes back and let us know that our car actually has more than we thought wrong with it, starting with how our brake pad fell OFF, and we were stopping with the cailper. He even took us in the garage and showed us. He was the nicest most honest mechanic I’ve ever been too. The price was extremely reasonable especially for all of the things that needed replacing. Thank you again for your kindness, and how quickly you did what you could for our car. The last thing I’ll ever say about this man was that he was dishonest. I do recommend 100%.

I had my car break down at my place the other day. I looked for a moblie mechanic and found one. This one came out and said my electrical was all messed up and had to replace it all. I asked how much he said 400.00. I said whoa.Then the next day I wanted a second opinion and looked and found Alex of Gonzalez and Son auto repair I called and asked if he does house calls he said sure. Alex came out checked the car and said it was the starter. So he hit it and told me to turn it on and it started right up. He said I can have the starter bring to my place and he can do it right there and the price was a lot cheaper then what the other guy gave me. He fixed it I like his honesty and professional service he gave I told he he has a new customer in me for my future auto problems. Thanks again Alex.

Took my car here because I was referred by another establishment. I was quoted a price then when he started the work, was quoted a difference price because leaks were found. I went ahead and paid for the repairs, but when I left for about an hour or so, my ac wasnt working again. I called and he didnt sound too concerned, didnt even bother to tell me to come back to see what the issue may be. I went back to the shop only to be told that my compressor was leaking. This is literally one of the most important parts to check when an ac isnt working and was told that it would cost anywhere between $500-$700 to repair. At this point, I feel like I was taken advantage of and my money was taken. If he wouldve checked that from the beginning and told me that was the issue, I wouldve just taken my car to the dealership and paid my deductible to use my warranty. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Dishonesty all I hate when it comes to business.I mean how would you keep business when the bill rises a $40 from estimation and he literally saying we were lying about the first price talked over the phone.I don’t know who’s mistaken, Gonzalez or sons.

After taking my car to Alex to be seen and for an estimation, he first charged me $160, he said the part is $100 and labor is $60 so I decided to have him repair it, When he did I came back to pick up my car and he charges me $202 afterwards and told me he never said $160. Never going back to him! I hate dishonesty people. Be straightforward.

Gonzalez was able to fix our air conditioning property after other shops, including the dealer kept incorrectly diagnosing the problem! And had it done very quickly!

I am so thankful to have found them. I am from out of town and needed a major repair. Alex went above and beyond to get us back home.

After much research and several mechanic shops, Im happy to say I found my new mechanic! I needed my break pads and rotor replaced and Alex did a great job explaining everything to me before hand and after. My Camry XLE has been exclusively maintained by dealers for 10 years. When they gave me a quote for a new alternator of almost $1,000 I looked for another option. Gonzalez & Sons gave me a low quote and I knew it would take more time than they quoted. Sure enough it did take longer but they only charged me for what they quoted. Integrity like that is hard to find and my car works great. Cant ask for more.

As a young teenage girl its very intimidating to search for a mechanic, but at Gonzalez and Sons Auto Repair shop I felt super comfortable and confident I wasnt getting overcharged or scammed; considering they charged half of what a chain auto service place wanted to charge.Alex was very nice and went out of his way to help me with my car issues!

Very unethical and DISHONEST, my deceased father paid in full for my vehicles repair. The parts have been delivered to the shop. Alex took the money and I have been going to the shop back and forth with my vehicle just to come back and hear excuses why he never added the part and that he was busy. Today, I dropped the car off with his promises that he would finish it up. I called twice in vain and then decided to go shop just for him to tell me that he could not work the car. I told him that it is fine, I will take my car and leave, then I remember the parts, Alex never offered to GIVE the paid for parts to me, I had to drive back and ask for it. I asked him how much my Late father paid him for the labor he never did and he just said that it was a lump sum payment for other work he had to do for my dad’s other cars (basically he took the money and we are not getting it back and never fixed my car). That is fine, the reason why he is doing is because we told him that my dad passed away a few days ago, so the man he was dealing with us no longer here, now he unethically conducted himself as such.

Very bad and dishonest mechanics. I sent the case to the local police and BBB. I believe the good reviews are fake. After I used their service, and didnt noticed the problem they made, I sent a VA friend to fix something in his vehicle and he also realized that he was ripped off, Gonzalez was not honest.

Purhcased a groupon and called to set up a time to go in. The guy says he doesnt deal with groupon anymore and stopped two months ago which is when I bought it but he wouldnt honor it even though it was valid at time of purchase and doesnt expire until June. Terrible customer service on the phone too. Aggressive and rude.

Had to get my car fixed before driving it back to Illinois, had no idea where i was going to take it to get fixed. Called the shop the morning of and they told me to bring it in. The shop was easy to find, Alex explained everything to me and was very professional, parts were ordered for my toyota yaris, wheelbarrings and hub assembly...i was worried id have to wait a few days for it to be fixed but car was fixed the same day! On top of the excellent service we received the price for parts/labor was very affordable. Car made it back home safe with no problem. I would recommend this shop to anyone, especially anyone who is on vacation.

It’s very sad to say that Me and my fiancé have spent money at this shop and every time we come out of there something is broken. I got my motor mounts replaced and they broke my A/C line and didn’t say anything a day later my A/C wasn’t working take it back and the owner tried to fix it with some type of glue and I made him take it off and I sent it to get repaired you think he would of paid for it NO. Then I changed my power steering pump there and it’s been making noise still..take it back and he tries to charge my fiancé for parts and labor again. And not only that twice the amount of the pump thank God I know about parts and I know about cars that he couldn’t play me. Foul me once not foul me twice. VERY DISHONEST! Try to hid everything behind a religion. LEARN HOW TO BE HONEST AND YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL! Don’t go by these reviews!!!

These guys are great, absolutely fantastic. Best experience ever. I needed my brakes, rotors, calipers, hoses, and fluid changed and these guys did it same day in 2 hours.Heres WHY i went to him. I got my brakes check at a brand name place(PB) and these jerk offs tell me that its going to be 1500$ to replace the above mentioned parts. Im like hold on thats not possible it cant cost that much. I did my own check on the parts and saw it was like 50 rotors 50 brakes 150 calipers and like 12 + 12 for hose and fluid. So where the hell did they get 1500??? I tell them no and that i want my car back, they LOCK IT in their lot because its unsafe to drive now.... i had to get it towed....All in all Gonzalez got it done for me for around 650$ way better, way honest, and in 2 hours. I trust him.

Mechanics look questionable and the women in the office tried to up sale bunch of extra stuff I didnt need good thing I new what the going rate for the job was and what I needed . Didnt do the work in this location.
