Ive been to SO many Auto Care places over the years, and I cannot say enough good things about Bret. He has helped me out of trouble numerous times, has always taken incredible care of my car and has given me good prices that I know are reasonable. My mom, sister, and husband all bring their cars here now because its so amazing to find someone trustworthy to take care of your car. Hes quick, reliable, and easy to work with, and you never feel pressured to do any work you dont want to have done. I cannot recommend Totem Lake Auto Care enough!

I recently had to have the radiator replaced on my car and went with this business because they were able to fit me in the same day which I appreciated however they do charge the high end of average to do repairs. I called several other shops after I left this place and could have had it done cheaper almost anywhere else. See below. Im not too pleased with the service as it was a last minute decision when my Lexus shut down completely on my way to work so I got towed to nearest shop. The guy (Bret I believe) did diagnose and put in new alternator and battery although the battery was only a month old, so I was a little skeptical. Then he suggested some more repairs needed which I appreciate but he was adamant about a coolant leak which quoted around $1000 to replace. I said no at the time as I’ve never seen a leak and that’s quite pricy. So fast forward now my car (about two months later) is getting brakes done at Firestone and as they looked I had suggested a quote for coolant leak and they didn’t find one. All they found was some crust of old coolant which is an easy fix. I’m fortunate to have said no when Bret asked me and had it relooked at but I don’t expect less from mechanics really since they always over quote in my opinion. All around pleased he helped me same day but not happy about a false diagnosis/very large expense.

Brett is incredible. Hell walk you through everything with integrity and expertise. Hes now hired another seasoned mechanic part-time who know TONS about Fords. Hes earned our business.

Bret runs a small shop but it is very efficiently and smoothly operated. The Kia Soul we left in his care was carefully inspected and all requirements of the job were completed meticulously and very importantly cleanly. He called for additional approvals for items found on his inspection. When the car was ready, he informed me with additional information on the service. I would recommend autos be given to his care and the care of his mechanics if outstanding results and good rates are desired. Thanks again, Bret, for the great service served with a smile.

Ive been taking my car to Brets crew for over ten years (since they were on the other side of the road), and have been the happy recipient of constant quality maintenance, repair and fair pricing since day one. From oil changes to locating and installing a rebuilt engine, Ive never had anything but excellent help in keeping several generations of cars running smoothly - and friendly banter at the front desk. Highly recommended.

Once I met Brett and had one of my cars serviced, I knew I would bring all of my rigs to his shop that day forward. Plain and simple, Brett tells you what needs to be done and what does not need to be done at that time. Very fair, reasonably priced and TRUST WORTHY
