This was my first experience with Signature Independent. They were a referral from another automotive shop. They were very professional and very knowledgeable about my 2001 BMW, where another shop that I used was not. They made the repairs that were needed and did the 60k mile maintenance. I will go back to Signature Independent for future maintenance. Very pleased.

This is the third BMW Ive had serviced at Signature and I keep coming back because they offer great service and get involved with my concerns.

Was able to get in for a problem with our Mercedes, called on Friday in on Tuesday morning. Had another car to use, took two tries due to car not exhibiting problems for mechanics. When it finally did they fixed it and two other leaks we knew about. Price was responsible and done when expected. Highly recommend.

I previously brought both of my BMWs to Signature Independent for what Im guessing was 7+ years. When I bought a new car, I thought my only option for service was thru the dealership where I was being charged triple the cost. I recently found out that Signature Independent services other high end European cars, including mine! I am so glad to be back! These guys are honest, reliable and take excellent care of their customers. The service/inspection reports are the best Ive seen too: digital, detailed and include photos so that you can see exactly what they see and there are no discrepancies. I cant recommend this local family-owned business enough.

Ive been going here for my x1 for about two years. They have reasonable rates, but sometimes end up charging a lot for silly things that I expected would be free - like inspecting whether braking is doing fine.I trust them for their work and they always stand by it in case something goes wrong.

Another great experience with Rick and his team. They always inform me of the status, cost and drive me home and pick me up when the work is completed. Work is always done to perfection. I never need to bring the car back for any additional related work or follow up. Done right the first time.

Signature has much better labor prices than local chains like Firestone. Firestone quoted me 155$ an hour. Signature has a 118$ labor charge. Firestone also quoted me several hundred dollars more for replacing my brakes.The more work I have done with Signature the better I feel about going there.

Signature Independent is an amazing, honest, efficient, fairly priced service for my Mini Cooper. They dont try to sell you on service you dont need. I have used them for 2 years now and they have NEVER suggested more expensive service items that I should have done to jack up the price of my service call like a lot of other auto service places do -- especially to women. I HIGHLY recommend them for their efficiency and honesty and great service.

Honestly, this was the best auto repair experience Ive ever had. Initially I took my SL500 Mercedes to the dealership in Bellevue for a coolant leak and they told me I needed a new radiator, hose and a coolant flush. They quoted me 3k for parts/labor and repairs. Thinking this was absurdly high, I reached out to other mechanics on the Eastside and found Signature Independent online. The manager I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful and given my dealership diagnosis of the radiator issue, they quoted me a far less rate than Bellevue Mercedes for all repairs. I dropped my car off the next day and was expecting it to be there for a few days while all repairs were made. Within a few hours I received a call from Signature saying the radiator was fine, coolant hose fine and the issue was a loose clamp- which was adjusted. Not only was my car ok, the total cost for repair and labor was under $100. I cant even fully explain how happy I am with my experience here and will absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thank you for being honest, professional and genuinely interested in delivering the best customer service.

I have used Signature twice thus far, and both times have found them to be courteous and professional, well informed, clearly communicated in explaining problems their impact, and urgency and timely in reaching back out to me in my preferred means of communication. Perhaps they are not the cheapest place to get basic services, however I value consistency and quality as part of the value, so I will be going there again.

Weve used this company for years and for various problems with our 2005 BMW. They are honest and very reasonably priced. Theyre very conservative and wont try to sell you a repair that the car doesnt need. I wish they worked on other makes of cars, is my only complaint :)

Signature is great. They get to know your car and let you know which repairs are needed right away versus which ones can wait. They will talk through the issue with you and ensure you understand the work they are doing and the related cost.

These guys are the best. They make sure to get the job done no matter what. Very transparent about pricing. You may find somewhere a bit cheaper for labor but you won’t find a better deal in the long run. Very grateful for these guys and what they do.

Signature did everything on the schedule that they laid out and at the price they quoted. This was a transmission replacement. They found a new BMW transmission covered a two-year warranty from BMW, and with a one-year warranty on their work. Very pleasant to deal with.

These folks are the greatest! They are highly professional technical experts, reasonably priced, and personable. They will work with you in setting up an appointment when you need it, take time to explain what work may be required and have your car ready when promised for the reasonable price quoted. They know what there doing. Not good communication the first or second time around but overall Erik fixed everything and made it right. Its my go to for a BMW fix.

Integrity. Professional. Trust worthy. I took my BMW in to another shop and they told me I needed to replace just one strut. Later on, they told me I needed to replace both struts, total cost $2300. I did not feel right about going forward or leave my car or money in the hands of this other shop. So I took my car to Signature Independent after a friend referred me. The people at Signature Independent are very friendly, honest, and price is very reasonable. They offer to replace both struts for $1600, a savings of about $700 compared to the other competitor. I highly recommend Signature Independent and definitely will return for all my future car needs.

Great guys to work with. I have taken my car there for 3 years now. They have done the typical maintenance as well as an impromptu break down (which they got me back on the road in 2 hours with no appointment). Prices have been very reasonable - much less than the dealership. No nonsense. If you buy a BMW, you dont need to look elsewhere.

This place decide to charge me for diagnostic after I asked them whether they charge a diagnostic fee on a minor issue and they said no. They never informed me the diagnostic charge by any means but they insist that I must pay for this. If you go there, make sure you get a written estimate before you hand them the key or you will regret.

Signature is a great shop. Fast, reliable service. Always good work. Car always comes back cleaner than when I brought it in. Leah (spelling?) does a great job keeping me informed of progress.

Just started going to signature independent, the team there is great! I brought my 1998 Z3 Convertable in and they found and addressed all the issues quickly with a fare price. I would recommend them to anyone with a European car.

Its a small shop so if you arent just getting an oil change so expect to leave you car there for at least a day. That being said the service is excellent and they wont try to upsell anything that you dont need

This is the best repair shop I have dealt with in my 40 years of owning a car. They are honest, reliable, quick and do the repairs right. I have a 2000 BMW that Ive taken to Rick 3 or 4 times and he always gets right on it for a good price and they are a pleasure to deal with. I just wish he would work on my other non BMW cars too.

They are simply magnificent. So much so that I dont have adequate words to express how incredible they are.Ive been a loyal customer since 2009-2010. Right around the time they opened.In fact, I learned about them by getting an 8.5x11 office printed flier on my windshield. But get this... they put it in one of those 3-ring binder protective sleeves... so if it rained it would be protected. Plus they put it upside down so the rain wouldnt get in at the top.That just goes to show you how much attention they put on even the smallest of details.I think I can accurately sum up their approach to business by saying that they care for their customers so much so that they are trying to work themselves out of a job. Meaning, they do everything possible to make your car perfect so that you dont have to go back.Rick is one of the nicest people I know. Honest, patient and sincerely concerned about each customer as if they were next door neighbors. Hell brainstorm with you about your car, tell you whats absolutely necessary and what things should be addressed soon. Hes even taught me how to limp my car to the shop without creating bigger problems, just so I could avoid the hassle and expense of having to tow it in.Leahs fun, feisty, detail oriented, concise, wants to get your concerns addressed completely; and, she shares your sense of urgency in getting you and your car back on the road. Brought in my 335 x drive for coolant leak. They found an oil leak on the pan gasket and also a bad universal belt. Took care of everything by end of day - only charged me for the price of the belt - these are good people who DO IT WITH INTEGRITY. Im a customer for life.

Ive been here multiple times during the last year for my 328i. In my experience they do good work at average prices. People here are very nice to work with. I think their quotes on parts are a bit higher than what you would find for OEM parts online. But they do have cheaper labor. If you need to leave your car, they also offer shuttle services. All in all this is the place I would recommend for your BMW if you cant DIY it.

. I had my oil pan gasket replaced on my e92 by them a couple months ago (not a cheap fix, $1000). This past weekend I was under my car replacing some suspension parts and looked up to check out the oil pan. Come to find out 3 of the oil pan bolts were over torqued and the heads were snapped off.Signature Independent didnt even bother fixing their mistake and just hoped I wouldnt notice after they put the splash shield back on. I now have to deal with getting the broken bolts drilled out and replaced.UPDATE 11/16:Signature Indep. reached out to me to see if they could remedy the situation. Rick was very kind and genuine and we came to an agreement. I can appreciate how they handled the situation and will give them another chance in the future..

For two years during a corp-relo, Signature independent BMW took exceptional care of my X-5 and corrected several problems. Rumor has it--and from unimpeachable sources. Rick honed his Service Manager skills and reputation at BMW of Bellevue. That is where I received the recommendation to go for service on a complex X5 repair. Signature Independent BMW took care of my repair issue at a surprisingly reasonable rate and guaranteed there work fully. It is now 4 yrs later, and I havent experienced any issues with this repair. Folks! This is old school auto-service repair at its best and finest! In this highly electronicized and gizmod-galore driving world, Signature Independent BMW is the only choice for a BMW driving enthusiast like myself. Ill be relocating back to the Seattle area soon. Signature Independant is the best shop for service of any car that I have ever used. Rick the owner was really incredible, honest and a veteran expert.As an example of above and beyond, I had a 325XI wagon that was having a real issue. I happened to be near the shop at 6-7PM on Saturday and needed to be at a Ski Race at 5:30 AM the next morning. I dropped in - Rick diagnosed and fixed the problem that night and I was able to drive to the hill at dawn thirty. - And Oh by the way, I got a ride home from the shop too.

The integrity and reliability of this company is what allowed me to go for buying another (used) BMW. They have had my back so many times that I trust them completely.

This place is a total scam. I am a certified master mechanic and my stepmom needed some basic work done on her car. They tried to bullsh!t her into paying 190$ for a pulley noise when they are just going to drop some oil on it and tighten it. do not take your car here. they wrote a list of items adding up to over 1800$. I fixed everything on that list for less then a 100$. Read your invoice very carefully people. Mechanics like this dont deserve to be in business. The other reviews are complete nonsense also, they are either friends or have been payed. the guy who says they only charged $1700 to do my struts didnt shop around very well. I know multiple shops that could of done that work for less then $500 with brand new parts.

Friendly and accommodating service. Ricks daughter was manning the front desk today, as Rick was on vacation - couldnt have asked for a better experience. I had my 03 BMW 330i E46s 6MT transmission fluid changed (Redline MTL FTW!) and tried to have them diagnose a clunk in the transmission. They quoted me for 1hr of diagnostic work - when they found no faults, they dismissed the charge altogether (they even lifted the car, drove it, and scanned for codes as well). Now I can worry a little bit less about it I guess. That being said Im very, very OCD when it comes to my car, so I may still check the clunk at another shop to get a second opinion... I still feel that it kicks like a mule whenever I let off of the gas in 1st gear. Overall 5/5 + two thumbs up, Ill be coming back to this place for sure.

Made an appointment to get a Pre buyers inspection done, dropped car off at 8am was told it would be done in two hours. Got taxi cabs and came back 3 hours later to it not even being looked at. Only excuse they could give me was sorry. Extremely terrible customer service and would not recommend them to anyone who values a companies word.
