Took my tablet there to have a charger port repaired, they fixed the charger port and then call and say that it also needs a battery so I told them to put a battery in. He says its done come pick it up he told me to take it home and charge it. Soon as I get home theres a line across the screen and I took it back right next morning after they open and show them the screen talked to a lady that had no answers then a man came out with attitude right off the start and no mask talking VERY AGGRESSIVELY AND NO MASK I could feel his breathe hitting me in face.. They said you must of dropped it and no I definitely did not and told him that. And told him it wasnt like that when it was brought in and he says I dont know what could of happened but I didnt try to turn the tablet on, I tested it with a volt meter and that showed the battery would only go to 30% and if our tools would of broken it the whole screen would of shattered and the lines would be going upwards too and during process we didnt touch screen or LCD the tablet was kept in otterbox since brand new and only removed it to take it there. Then he says the LCD was like that when you brought it in.... talking circles like I dont know about anything. I told him i got before and after pictures because now its all nicked up around the sides and screen is messed up and said its part of process to take screen off and LCD is attached and I put it on side to work on it which just a minute before said he didnt touch screen or LCD dont make sense. He went on to say we can fix LCD itll be $300 for the part and $100 an hour labor thats best i can do, and also an older lady came in and same happened to her screen and she almost passed out when I told her her part was $800 to fix. I asked so it is pretty much junk then? And he replied yes and I asked is there was anyway to get any of my money back? And he basically said no being aggressive and loud with smart remarks I felt like he was trying to intimidate me. So I avoid confrontation wrap up conversation proceed to walk out and my son says to me im gonna call BBB to me and man SHOUTTED WHO YOU GONNA CALL????!!!?!!? and my son replied nicely sir I was talking to my father. So now Im out all the priceless pics of family last gatherings together thatll ill never get back plus alot more that was on that tablet, I did everything from that tablet the last couple years. That tablet was better than any computer I ever owned, its a secure device I do everything from and now Im out of everything I lost and if he knew the lcd was screwed up when I brought it supposedly why wouldnt a reputable business tell you that before you invest hundreds of dollars into it glad I have before and after pics. And just like the story he said of old lady and Im a senior citizen too, I feel like I was taking advantage of at the most they can and get me to pay pretty much thousands to fix... make sure u take a before and after picture of your devices so you have proof. Also BEWARE WHEN YOU WALK IN ON LEFT OF WALL IT SAYS THEY CARRY CONCEALED WEAPONS AND DEALING WITH SOMEONE THAT AGGRESSIVE YOU NEVER KNOW IN TODAYS WORLD.... you can see in pics where it is all nicked up and screen is shot where they pry it apart

My iPad wouldn’t charge so I brought it in. They quickly diagnosed it and gave me my options. Charging port & battery were shot. They helped me get a new iPad for less then the repairs would cost which was a godsend as a single mom & small business owner.

I took my sons computer to Evolutionary Computer because it kept crashing. He was able to replace the hard drive and reload the correct software and now it runs PERFECT!! I brought my two old phones there and they were honest and upfront about it and what might be impossible to do. They didnt take my money until they were abs sure it was able to get done. Unfortunately it was impossible to do it due to the damage I put my phones through lol, but they never charged and even told me how to get my money back from the other place that charged me 2000.00 for data recovery! So I definitely do recommend them 100 percent ! I will be returning if I have any issues with my phones.

The owner of this place is very knowledgeable and professional and is willing to help out any way he can. I recently got a computer from a different shop that loaded it with a bootleg version of Windows and the owner helped my suspicion in verifying the cause. Spencer is a con artist, an absolute rip. i went into his shop with 800 dollars looking for a decent gaming computer. i was sold and old dell computer with no graphics card and a broken monitor. when confronted about it spencer told me there is only a 2 hr return policy and that the computer was just fine for gaming. soencer took advantage of a novice pc customer when i threatened to bring the law into it spencer blocked me on facebook and has not returned any of my lawers callshe is also very agressive and drops racial slurs and profanity while carrying a gun on his hip threw his store do not go to this clown for your service or your safety

Took a computer to be fixed. Had a $1000 graphics card go missing from computer, even had the recipes with the serial number. Got item back and still wasnt working properly and called out the graphics card issue. Was yelled at and disrespected. Owner went as far as to threaten and me and attempt to pull a weapon.Update: if you need basic repairs done like a phone screen you have better luck sitting down and watching YouTube tutorial and ordering the part yourself. Owner charges out the rear for parts and uses youtube.Its like one of those unlicensed vendors in new York or new Jersey. High price rip off.If you see this review and tho owner hasnt scammed people for reviews or begged google to remove it. I encourage you to read all the other 1-3 star reviews and get to see the owner for what he is a con artist who accuses and attacks his customers when called out.Every review besides mine has it in common where you call the flawed for what it is and the owner gets loud and aggressive. He doesnt allow refunds cause he isnt licensed and knows he is ripping you off

I recommend this place simply because they are friendly, respectable, and they follow exactly what they say. I came because I was having issues with my daughters tablet as well as my girlfriends. Rather then overcharge me for the work that they could have done, both the lady at the front desk, and the gentlemen who would be doing the work advised me that it would in our best interest to just purchase new tablets. They went on to explain that just fixing this problem now may not stop what may have been damaged already, since we had them for so long without getting them fixed. And after speaking with them, we just decided to get new ones. Thank you Evolutionary Computers for you knowledge and sense of moral values.

Took 6 months from drop off to completion to have a hard drive repaired. Understandably, we had to get him a new hard drive to transfer files, only found out when we called them. Told me it would be done in a few days, went back for it weeks later because I was in the area, not done. Never received a call when it was done. Finally I called and they said it was done. I am now sitting for over a half hour in there waiting area for a product i paid for up front( call me a fool). Who knows how much longer? I called a half hour ahead.Now 45 minutes. Still waiting.Also, i brought them a cell phone to repair at the same time I dropped of the hard drive. Had that fixed in a week. They told me I would need to get a case because they couldnt get it back together. Needless to say, it was broke again in a couple days. Now at the 50 minute mark of waiting.55 minutes,I guess they fixed it while i waited. Ridiculous!

Ive been dealing with this place on and off for years. Recently I have had 2 repairs go through the shop and the owner has handled both very well. One was an IPad that had to be sent out and they have been taking care of the issues with Apple to fix it. The other was an old gaming setup I put together for my father-in-law that one day decided to start freezing. After taking the computer to the shop the owner was able to diagnose the problem in a matter of minutes and repaired it overnight. Both were very inexpensive and the repairs were perfect and they looked as good as when they went in.Definitely will return and highly suggest others to give them a shot. They are family and former military orientated so the owner could be a bit blunt, but he will give you the shirt off his back to help you if he can and usually his bluntness is only shown when someone tries to lie or cheat him.

This place is a sham! They might be able to fix easy issues such as cleaning a screen but anything technically inclined they will destroy your electronics 100% more than original problem! I never seen such an unprofessional business in my life! They changed a battery and totally destroyed my 6 hundred dollar iPad then proceeded to blame me! DO NOT take your electronics here cause they will destroy it TOTALLY! They cant even take accountability for there actions, the only accountability they take is in ripping you off & destroying your electronics and treat the customer like we are trying to rip them off! A simple battery swap turned into a $700.00 dollar loss!

Ok so here is my story about Evolutionary Computers.7weeks ago today I took my phone to them to have my broken screen fixed. I filled all the paperwork, and later came back to pay for the repair. It was still on and still receiving notifications when he took it to the back room and I left.Two weeks later I had not heard anything from them. So I called to find out how it was coming along. They told me the first one came broken so they had to order another screen.Two weeks later I called them to see how things were coming along. They said the second one for lost in the mail and had to order another one. At this point I asked for a refund and my phone back. The lady on the phone said they dont do refunds and my phone was torn apart.A week later I called to find out how it was going. They said the third screen was lost in the mail. And was in Edwardsville Indiana or something like that.A week later I called to see how things were going. I was told to come pick up my phone and they would issue a refund.43 days after dropping it off I picked my phone up in pieces. After accessing all the parts many pieces were missing.The back to the phoneThe sim trayThe sim cardI called them and was told there was no tray or card. But after they looked they found my trayToday marks 7 weeks. I stopped in.I was only handed my trayThey informed me my back shatteredAnd insisted they dont have my SIM card.I will never use them again, and I warn all of you how they run business.Within 24hours of this message I picked my tray up.You never returned messages or phone calls. And no, I have not activated that sim in another phone....I could screenshot my cell phone account too if you feel Im lying. The fact you come back with attacks towards your customer, shows your level of professionalism.

My wifes laptop screen got broke. While my wife was upset I did the first thing I knew how to do and that was to call Spencer and get the process moving along. He is always there for the help especially when your wifes panicking due to her school work being on there and her work. This is the place to go especially if you need your repairs done correctly.

After my experience today, I won’t go anywhere else for my tech needs.I had 3 broken laptops and desperately needed at least one to be put back in working order for my college courses. I was up front about the fact that I’m gonna go with the one that’s cheapest to fix, as a single mom of 2 toddlers I’m on a shoestring budget. Spencer was kind and caring, took the time to look at each one and let me know my options on what would be best for me, short and long term. Turns out none of them would have been worth fixing for my needs and I’d end up having to buy another computer soon. I was able to trade in the broken ones towards a better, more powerful laptop that I wouldn’t have to worry about for a long time.Plus side: HE TAKES PAYMENTS! That’s a godsend for me, I can’t always dish out hundreds of dollars at a time.The best part: He wasn’t like other stores that are trying to sell you the latest, most expensive piece they have that you’ll end up regretting. He took the time to find out what my needs were and what would be best for me within my budget. The shop feels like visiting a friend’s house, there’s no pressure.

I would try some where else. The forgotten parts, the added time, and added money for the added labor which should have been done the first time. and the lack of masks and thinkin a vent is all you need. Ya used to like this place and reccommend it.. i will look elsewhere now. Not bad though, good for locals and he is knowledgeable, just spread thin and focus is stretched.. A decent review...

Everyone there is so kind and helpful, I came in there with a completely sub par gaming pc that wouldnt even work right and they all took the time to help me out and explain what was wrong and they really took care of me. Now I have a quality pc that runs beautifully and was a very good price for the quality of work they put into it. Thanks again to everyone there, and if you ever have computer problems or anything technical at all please go here they know what theyre doing and theyre very good at it and kind.

Had a screen replacement for my phone done here.Shortly after the repair, the screen came off, which Spencer repaired quickly. Afterwards, the screen became buggy, often requiring a reboot to get the phone to respond.Worst of all is the screen began cracking while the phone is my pocket . So after the expensive repair Im left with a useless phone.Although, I believe Spencer that the problem is a defective screen on his suppliers side, it failed so soon after replacement that I cant help but be left with a negative experience.

Go somewhere else i was charged 100 dollars to fix my PlayStation picked it up went home didnt work after I was told it was all good took it back was told they will check it out 30 days later after me calling twice a week was told hey hey gonna cost u another 100 bucks. So I said no and left this was my 8 year old daughters system she has been asking me for 45 days when her system would be fix not sure how people like this sleep at night there just about the money my advice find somewhere else to fix your electronics

Ive been coming here a couple times, every single time they never return a phone call. I have to like Rush after them to find out whats going on with my computer. Then this past time they gave me a cable which was faulty and didnt work when I came back to them they charged me $25 for a new cable and I said last time you guys gave me a faulty cable and she just took my credit card and swiped . Im never coming back to them again I kept on giving them a fair chance but this is it. There are a lot better places out there.

I’ve had phones repaired, computers cleaned up to get running faster and bought a few different electronic devices over the years (iPad, chromebook etc) and service has always been outstanding. I had an ipod with a cracked screen.... they gave a reasonable quote to make repair....the screen was replaced but ipod was still not working properly...I called and they said to bring it back, they will look at it free of charge ...they not only troubleshot it again but replaced a broken cable that was found ....the unit works just like it came from factory

DO NOT GO THERE! Brought my phone in for a cracked screen. Said it would take 15 minutes, ended up being almost 2 hours. The next day it cracked. I called and they said bring it in and I can get it fixed. When I brought it in, they increased the price 30 dollars and said they needed to order more screens. (waste of time to drive all the way there) I took it to another business and they told me my screen was previously fixed, the reason they know that is because whoever did it, did it completely wrong and that is why it cracked a second time. They put the screws in wrong and they use cheap materials. He showed me what Evolutionary did to the phone and how they screwed it up. (and the cheap materials they use). I got a new manufactures screen, which does make my phone screen bright like it originally did before I brought it in Evolutionary. I paid the same amount, but got real materials and a quality job. Do not waste your time and money!!!!!

I took my computer into Evolutionary Computers Inc the last day of 2014. They checked the computer first thing and told me there were no viruses on it. I took it in to have a new keyboard installed because of a spill on the keyboard. They just returned it 2.18.2015. They told me they couldnt do anything with the computer because it was filled with viruses. They wanted another $75. to correct a problem they helped create. Not a very professional organization. It took 1 1/2 months to install the wrong keyboard. When you tell a customer you are going to expedite an order it shouldnt take over three weeks!

This place is great for phone repairs. I stopped here to get info on what was wrong with my phone. I got more info from the guy working there than I did from anywhere else including my phone manufacturers customer service.

The first time I had Evolutionary Computers Inc. service my laptops they offered very good services. The second time which was before 6 months were up, they broke my touch pad mouse. On delivery, they promised to fix it once they get the replacement or the spare part. From that day, every time I call them they either do not answer my phone or promise to call back but they never do. My laptop was serviced by Spencer. He appeared to be a gentleman but I think he is a con artist.

Today i purchased another laptop and a tablet from them. I also brought back in a laptop that I purchased last month and told them that it was acting up.
