The worst place I have ever been too. The women at the front desk, that is also part owner, is the most disrespectful and condescending person I have ever met. She is lazy and unhelpful. DO NOT GO HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Great place to take your car.

I dropped my car off on Thursday January 28th at 9am for them to see what was wrong with my radio- it was no longer turning on. at 11 am they called and said we needed a new radio and wiring. Ok thats fine. We get there at 11:30 and pick out a radio. They tell us to come back at 4pm and they would be done. We come back at 4pm and they are not done, they had just got done with the wiring because they had to bi-pass the factory amp. Again fine, whatever. 5pm comes around and now they tell us that they dont have a dash kit for my car and the guy doesnt want to hook up the radio without the dash kit. This is where I get frustrated and sit in the truck because why tear my car apart and have me pick out a radio if you dont have the dash kit. So we tell them we will buy the dash kit and bring it back up there when we have it and they can pop it in real quick- 15, 20 minutes tops. While Im in the truck they had the audacity to charge my husband 460$ for the radio, installation of the radio, and installation of the back up camera. The radio was sitting on my passengers seat so nothing was installed at that point. I could understand charging for the radio, but not the installation. They had my car for 8 hours that day. Then, today (February 6th), we were told to bring my car back up after noon for the installation (remember the quick in and out 20 minutes top installation). We pulled in their parking lot at 12:30. We were told the guy doing the install would be back from lunch in 30 minutes. Ok thats fine, we go down the road to my husbands grandmas house for a little bit. We come back between 2:30-3pm because at this point my car had been there for 2-2.5 hours it should definitely be done right? Even after 30 more minutes of lunch thats basic math 30 minute lunch + 20 minutes tops for the install = not even an hour so it has to be done. NOPE. The car had sat there, untouched, the whole time. At this point were mad. We had already paid them, and theyre not doing what they said they were going to do. We get told they are very busy and backed up. Thats when my husband asked, why have us come up here with the car in the first place if you were so busy. Dont have people sitting around all day for something theyve already paid for. They said my car would be the next car they worked on. So once again we left and ran a few errands. When we got there at 5pm my car was still not done, but it wasnt in the parking lot so at least that meant it was being worked on. We sat there for another hour before the guy pulled it out of the shop and handed me the keys. So if you were keeping track, 8 hours they had my car the first day and 5.5 hours they had my car today, bringing it to a total of 13.5 hours and 2 days to install a radio and back-up camera on my car. And the woman at the front desk could stand to have a better attitude and roll her eyes less. Every time we were up there she made it seem like we were inconveniencing her by being there. What a way to make paying (or should I say already paid) customers feel. The shop is dirty and cluttered. Very unorganized and unprofessional business. I dont see how they have as many good reviews as they do unless they are from friends and family. When my husband was inside right before they closed another woman was in there complaining about how long it took them to do the work on her car. These people need to get it together.

My husband has had the same system installed in 2 different cars by these people.The girl at the front desk needs a lesson in customer service. She is consistently rude and acts likes it is an inconvenience to do her job. She wrote the wrong time on the appointment card the for the most recent time we were there, and then had the nerve to be snarky when she called to tell us we were late. Had to bring the appointment card to show her and didnt even get an apology.The first car we had the system put in we didnt even get a mile down the road before the system quit working. Immediately took it back and the wires had come loose from the battery terminal. Took them 2 hours to fix.When they uninstalled the system from that car to put in our new truck, they destroyed the battery terminal, causing the car to die while we were driving home. They also messed up the outputs on the back to the head unit during the removal. Specifically told them several times we wanted to keep the old wires and a remote sensor, but they kept them anyway.Fast forward to new truck. Dropped it off at 930 in the morning (had an appointment). Called at 430 to say it was finished. Get there to pick it up, the subs werent even working, and dash was completely apart. Acted like it was a problem that we werent happy with the way it sounded. Took an additional hour and a half to finish the job properly.We will not be back, have had nothing but problems with them. Will be going to Pro Sound from now on, they are MUCH friendlier and do better quality work.

My time that I was going to do my calculations there for over a year I was doing it there but on June 1,2021 I went before hrs close lady there said they stop doing calculations after 2pm she told me she was cleaning it with climacles and she never did it before she was rude and not friendly Ill never recommend them to no one for anything

I have had two cars worked on at this place the first they ripped the door panel off without taking all the screws out and broke the handle and tried to glue it back together and not mention it. Tried to tell me it was like that. I had just bought the car with 25k miles from the dealer and it was perfect. The second a friend took his jeep to get cruise control put on. They didnt even protect the wires they just left them laying in the motor and exhaust. They did not even know how to install it properly, it needed a vacuum reservoir to even go up a hill with cruise on. I DO NOT recommend anyone go to these hacks.

I have had business with Dashboard for many years and they always come through for me. Recently I had my Subaru Forester upgraded, and I love it! The craftmanship of the install, the service and the product itself are flawless. I got a Kenwood unit with a JL Audio Sub box. I could not be happier with my experience here!

Awful experience!!! I have a e46 BMW That I ordered a new Android touch screen to replace factory cd. Called Monday. She said bring it in tomorrow which I did. Upon arrival she pulled my car up & told me you have to have a dash kit. Which wasnt true & I knew so. I asked if she would walk outside I could show her. Then she says oh Well that will work & I should loose my attitude. Worst stereo shop & customer service ever in my life.

Was doing a self install in my sons car, needed some advice and the tech came out on his lunch break and explained the solution to my problem at no charge to me even though we bought nothing from them. Much thanks to the staff.

I would not talk to a dog or treat one the way the women at the front desk does the star should be a negative 5 i would not recommend this place for anything or to ANYONE

Great business with great people!

Seeing some of the other reviews on here makes me somewhat nervous but when i went the guy was super helpful and friendly with me, i explained my problem and it was fixed in a pretty timely manner and since i needed a new stereo system they said i could just pay on my return visit.In any case they were much better to deal with than Sound Decisions in Johnson City and seemed much more friendly.

This business knows exactly what they are doing. The prices are good and they are very helpful. I highly recommend going to Dashboard Audio for all of you stereo needs.

Do not use this company… They are very unprofessional and if you are unhappy they basically say OK then have a good day and they hang up on you if you call on the phone. I spent 5 1/2 hours there to have a remote starter installed ..it still was not working correctly I was told I would need to come back for who knows how long when I expressed I was not happy basically they were like OK then thank you. I think there could be potential here if they knew how to be professional, knew anything about customer service and maybe if they knew about how to install products

Have tried to get windows tinted for a long time and was told many different stories. First they were looking for a new tint professional and then remodeling. I ended going elsewhere whan told how long the wait would be, which changed drastically.

Great guys at this place. Very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of my questions. Asked around a few places in the area and Dashboards prices were competitive so you can feel confident that youre getting a good deal.I actually ended up buying my stuff online and installing myself to save some money. However, I did have some problems during the install and drove over to Dashboard fully expecting to have to pay for some professional help. I was pleasantly surprised when they said they would help me free of charge!Again, just a bunch of great guys here. Would recommend to anyone.

They installed a remote lock/start system in our 02 Forerunner in 15 that went sorta bonkers. They removed the brain back in November of last year to have it analyzed and assured us theyd stand behind the product if found defective. Didnt hear anything from them since then so went by today. Owner found new replacement unit and made appointment for reinstallation next week. No explanation on the lack of followup communication. Will update this review post-service.4/18/18 reinstall update: Folks hooked me up! Stood by their word, work and product. 5 Stars! Thank you, Amy and Dashboard Audio!

They really couldnt help me with a radio problem

I had a subwoofer and amp installed here. While the work was good quality and I like my setup in my car, who I presume to be the owner has been rude to me every time that i have interacted with them. The sub they installed for me was thumping while my car was off and I couldn’t figure out why so I went down there to have an appointment set up to have them look at it. The owner seemed insulted and acted like they didn’t care whether the equipment they installed in my car worked properly or not. Afterwards, something came up where I would have to be out of town on the day we agreed upon but when I called to get my appointment rescheduled, they never answered their phone after numerous attempts. I even left a voicemail for them but they never got back to me so I had to fix the problem my self. I had a sub installed in my old car at Best Buy year before last. Even though Best Buy is slightly more expensive, I would rather go there 100 times out of 100 because the person who installs them there is very friendly and knowledgeable about the topic and explains things about it to you while the person at dashboard expects you to know what everything in the store is and how it works.

Im not sure about adios work quality but as an Intoxalock installer I wouldnt recommend. They lost a piece in my car and then lied about when i wouldnt just leave and insisted they find it.... never found it.

Had an appointment at 3pm sat waiting for two hours and never even looked at my car told me to just try again tomorrow very unprofessional

This business offers a wide selection of products. This includes Kenwood, JL Audio, Weathertech and more. The staff is very knowledgeable. They offer window tinting also. If you want quality from start to finish this is the only place to go.

Best way to go to get kenwood kicker JBL JL and Rockford godfather herts and mutch more. Got respect full employees and great service. And the work is always done the beat it can be 120% effete on any install. So if you need the right install and with know problems come to dashboard audio. 😁😁😁

A lot of gas wasted to get a box built for my Zv4 15 which still wasnt built correctly the second time i bought it back the guy insist that hes the best the specs were supposed to had been 4.2 cubic ft which it turns out it was only 3 cubic ft after having it measured by 4 different shops it was a waste of my time and money such a rip off an extra 60 bucks wouldve gotten me the correct box off ebay so i was going to get my speakers installed by these people but if they cant measure specs of a box in which this guy suggested he done for well over 20 years i doubt they can caorrectly install my mids and highs and i thought customer was always right if i give you the specs in which i wanted my box buiilt THE RIGHT WAY why couldnt he just simply do it is my question well thats my post but to each there own who knows the next customers may have a better experience then myself to each there own but I do think they are decent individuals as far as there personality goes i just suggest if you need any type of sundown box built of any kind i cant speak about any other boxes but sundown just buy the correct one on ebay you will come out a lot cheaper and satisfied in the long run.

They are very disrespectful to their neighbors. They are blasting their music for some event they are doing from 8am till 6pm. It shakes the houses and I had to leave my home just to get away from it. Its ridiculous.

This place is never open and you have to drive all the way there to find out if they are or arent open. They ALWAYS close early on Monday. I dont know how they stay in business they are never open......
