Morgan at the East Stone Dr corporate location was EXTREMELY helpful and professional. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of WHY I had to go to this location. A Verizon employee and manager in Knoxville, Turkey Creek location to be exact, allowed my identity to be fraudulently used to obtain two brand new iPhone 12 pro Max (or whatever they are called) and of course all the accessories to go with it. Totaling somewhere between 2500 and $3,000. I came in ANGRY! As I believe anyone would. Morgan was aware I was seriously upset. Another employee could have taken it personally and been rude however Morgan is completely professional. She knew that I was not angry with her but the company as a whole and treated me like she was making the biggest commission in the world, when she knew there was no commission to be made. The fraud department at Verizon was minimally helpful however Morgan was extremely helpful. I am choosing to pursue this criminally. I only hope if I have to speak with someone in this company moving forward they are as professional and kind as Morgan.

Don’t waste your time going to the Kingsport location take your business elsewhere like the Bristol, VA location or even online. I attempted to call this store several times before driving all the way to Kingsport with no answer.. I finally gave in and made the drive. Once I walked in they immediately tried to push me to buy the IPhone 13 Pro which is $1000 plus dollars. After explaining that my budget was not in that range, I was immediately disregarded by staff and was told that I needed to go online to buy a phone if I wasn’t interested in the IPhone 13. I asked if they could give me direction on how the online process worked and again was completely disregarded. Not helpful, employees made me and my family feel inferior due to disregard for my questions and guidance on a phone within my budget. I should have listened to my friends that had nightmare stories about this location. Don’t waste your time!
Says it’s 5g but doesn’t work ANYWHERE. we keep our payments up to date and still has horrible service. they told us it was just at first because other phones were taking our service which is ridiculous. i’ve been on the phone waiting for someone to answer me for 45 minutes now and still nothing. yes, 45 minutes!! the phone itself is a great phone but they need to stop scamming people with the 5g then not answering the phone. ridiculous.
The entire experience with this particular Verizon store location (2608 East Stone Drive, Kingsport, TN) was terrible, and that is an understatement. The store manager “Becky” is very arrogant and refuses to listen to any customer feedback or concerns. To be in a management position, she has a poor overall attitude. The manager and entire sales team could definitely use additional in-depth training. I would not recommend this particular store to anyone. They deserve a zero or a negative rating. Unless you enjoy dealing with unnecessary problems, stay far away....better yet, change to a different cellular provider who appreciates your loyalty and business.

Okay, I had an incident occur here and was supposed to be contacted I was one time by a woman named Myra and I was in the middle homeschooling my two special needs children. I called her back over 10 times left messages with no replay... I am baffled by the fact that such a huge company hasnt made this right... My nonverbal son cant even go past that building without flipping out thinking were going to go back there. My children have sensory issues to where that day he will never forget because their not use to that type environment and the fact that I have to get on here from my work email and make another review just so I can maybe get in touch with someone is absolutely absurd I would never expect this kind of customer service out of Verizon! Below if it will allow me I will attach my initial complaint. I would simply like to speak to someone and get this resolved because if not it will be handled out of my hands. This situation would not have been anywhere near would it come to had my two children not been there listening at the lady scream and watching the guy try and back my dad up and chest bump him! I pray you all can go back and look at cameras. it is not going to allow me to copy and paste the initial post but all I can say is the manager there followed us outside with one of the workers made a scene in front of my children when all me and my father were trying to do or leave. I went there to buy a note 20 in cash but by the way that they were speaking to us I wasnt going to buy anything and whenever my dad asked the lady when she followed us outside who Im assuming was the manager if she was going to continue to have her loud tone she said yes Ill have whatever tone I want to have like I said I hope you all have cameras but if not there was a person that was standing by that just so happened to get some of it on video I would be ashamed of the way your employees acted that day not to mention the impact that its had on my children because thats not the type of environment that they were raised around. If you would like to read my previous review it is under Whitney Christian as well this is just my work email I will as many people as possible to be aware of this situation and not only of the situation but that the company has refused to come to an understanding, apologize or even try to fix anything! Every single time I tried to call the lady her voicemail picked up and she never called me back. And its been long enough I figured by now someone would have contacted me but I guess I was wrong so here is my second chance at trying to get something done about because if we want to get technical that was a verbal abuse that both of my children experience and Ive already spoke to a lawyer about it. So Im trying to handle it the right way or we can go whichever way you want to. Have a wonderful evening. And last but not least from a mother with two autistic children one being nonverbal this is one of the worst things that a child can experience one that being their grandfather being backed up and bullied by a man that is supposed to be working and helping us and then being screened at by a woman that is supposed to be a manager and as well as helping us. My mom wanted a new phone so I suggested an IPhone. She went to Verizon, on Stone Drive, as this is the only service that works were she lives. Please keep in mind that my mom has never used anything other than a flip phone. She picked the phone she wanted and paid $100 to them. THEY DIDN’T EVEN SHOW HER HOW TO USE IT!!! Has customer service just been completely lost!?! I didn’t realize it was so hard to get paid to do your job and to actually care! If you don’t like what your doing and can’t even help someone out then get a new job! There is a reason why they call it CUSTOMER SERVICE 🤬

Normally I would give this particular store 5 stars but the last dealings I had with them really just made me NOT want to deal with them anymore. Too many things were off, and because of their supposed new rules they guy said he couldnt help me transfer my old stuff to my new stuff....a week later and after calling customer service I finally got my screen saver sent(they had nothing in stock ), and two weeks later Im still using my old phone because I am too scared that I am going to lose everything on my phone with the transfer. Spent roughly $1,500. for a phone, screen saver, case, and then taxes...but they cant take 5 minutes to help me so I know its done right....and we purchased 2 phones, screen protector, and cases that day. This will probably be our last purchase from Verizon.
One star is actually a gift for this location. They are unhelpful and pretty much prejudice towards people with disabilities. They refused to help activate a phone or transfer information to a new device, Id seriously drive to Johnson City verses dealing this with store. This is not the first issue that we have had with this particular store.***Update I called the 4233 West Stone Drive store and they were happy to help my cousin setup his new phone, 5 stars to them and Brad.

Prior to my appointment at East Stone Dr Verizon my father had already paid for my phone I just had to go in and pick it up however when doing so the guy had not one clue as to what he was doing and was rude right off the bat now I will give anyone a second chance being I work in sales and with the public and I understand how aggravating it can be HOWEVER he first says I couldnt see the color of my phone then he says there is a $50 fee but yet he has not hit enter so there wasnt a $50 fee just yet he kept going back and forth because he obviously didnt know what he was talking about and at this point my father that was standing there got aggravated as anyone would have the guy never once apologized or offerd to be more of a help so at that point my father and I said we were done and began to exit the store and at point the young man shockingly enough said go ahead. We then exit the store both going to our own vehicles. We rolled our windows down to speak to each other making a plan from there. At that time my daughter says mom here comes a lady and a little man from the store toward our car. Simply shocked as to what just took place in the store and very curious as to why in the world they would both be coming outside, I then step out of my car to avoid my two autistic children from hearing whatever it is that their approaching my father and I for. What I am assuming was the manager, she then proceeded to say he had made several mistakes and she could fix those however she had an attitude, assuming their unprofessional Customer Service from the entire situation and losing over a thousand dollar sale. Possibly giving another chance at this my father ask her are you going to speak to me in that tone? She laughed and said absolutely Ill speak how I wish when I wish. The situation escalated, and the male worker pushed his chest out and moved towards my father which in return what all we had already dealt with aggravated my father even more and the guy working was stepping to my father as if he was going to fight him. On two separate occasions I had to step in between the man and my father! All of this is so unbelievable it doesnt seem real even now as I type this! This is absolutely unnecessary, when someone is going to buy over a $1000 phone thats not how you treat a customer, matter of a fact I dont care if it was to purchase a $20 phone case the way the matter was handled was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional! The woman could have politely asked my dad for his permission to speak with me and I could have paid for my phone and been on my way but instead it had to be full blown harassment! Not to mention both of my young autistic children were sitting right there with the window down and it put them both into ticking and stemming mode! So out of all this I dont know what part was worse! My appointment was at 4 and when I called to get the guys name that this issue occurred with to report to corporate and I got hung up on three times! So what would anyone suggest I do? My family and I did NOT deserve to be treated this way and thats certainly a fact I pray that you all have cameras that you can go back and watch the incident as well as volume! I am appalled and to do that with my children right there with the window down. I certainly hope this is made right if not something will be done. Legal action will be taken. My children arent used to things like this! I know this has been all over the place but Im in shock that a business as big as Verizon would treat their customers in such a manner. In ending, the assuming manager would not let it go and return to the store until I announced my children were in the car and the window was down. Once again and shockingly enough she begins waving her tablet saying Im done here, were done here my dad then left. I got into my car where I remained because I had to calm not only my children down but myself so I could drive safely. So fortunate all of this was captured on camera/cameras. I pray no one ever has to experience anything remotely similar to this. 🙏
The Kingsport Store at 2608 East Stone Drive is the worst run business that I have ever been to in my life. I tried to buy a new phone on Monday and was not allowed in the building. Made a appointment for Tuesday and still was not allowed in the building. A extremely rude employee told me they do not accept appointments at that store while their corporate on line accepts appointments. It seems to me that Verizon does not know what Verizon is doing. I wish I could give a lower score but, this is as low as I can go. This will be my last trip to this store. Looking for another company.
Worse experience that I have ever had!!! Got 2 phones And they told me what my bill was supposed to been. well I got my bill and it was double the price.I didn’t even have the phones 2 days. I went back to the store and they offered to return my money since they told me wrong which I thought was great however they returned 1 purchase and I’ve been waiting on the 2nd one to be returned, I’ve still yet to get it. Went to the store yet again, this made the 4th time that I had been there! They told me that there was an error and they was an investigation that had been opened and it was closed down. Now they have started yet another investigation which he said will take 2 more days for them to reach out to me to see what’s going on.

Verizon use to be very very helpful at there East Stone Dr. store. This time when I went to get my son over to my account they were somewhat helpful but we had to go to the house and call a girl (Tiffany Mack) I think was her name. I just a few minutes was able to do we needed. She was very very nice and we could understand her. Not this time but last time I had a card from Gary ?? and he told me that if I came by with my old phone that he could get me all of my pH. #s for me. Well the last time I went there was a brown haired lady there that didnt open the door for me, asked if that was my older phone in my hand & if so they dont transfer any numbers, contacts or any of that. She then gave me a paper on how do that manually. I asked if Gary was still there and she NO rather. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT HAS BECOME A SALES ONLY STORE!!!

Super easy visit. Picked up my order and grabbed a couple extras while in the store and was out in maybe 10 minutes. Called my phone order in prior to visiting. That really reduced the time needed to upgrade.
This location with its ever-changing personnel is always a blast of an experience to enter into! Youre greeted at the door rather quickly and the wait for an attendant is not always long. Personnel is normally friendly enough and quite apt at aiding you with any cellular concerns. Owner/Manager, Mr. Harris, manages the store professionally and is quite nice.

I had the best experience at Verizon wireless at w stone drive in Kingsport. Dale and All the employees were excellent. They went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful but, they didn’t stop there they went out of their way to keep my children happy. They talked and played with them and made them feel so special. They were family friendly as well as helpful. They made sure we got what we wanted and I have never been happier with customer service. I will never go anywhere else. They were fast and we walked out with everything we wanted and more, plus our phones were ready to use we didn’t even have to set them up. I would recommend them to anyone.
Every time I go in the store in Kingsport (West Stone Drive) All I need to do is pay my bill. It takes 20 minutes or more to just get an associate to ring me up. I have other obligations, and dont have time to wait to pay my bill. Others are buying phones, cases, etc. And associates are promoting some gadget to get more customers. My advice would be to Add one associate for bills only.Thank you,Angela Baker

The Number 1 Verizon store in the country for a reason! Best service hands down. Had an issue with my old phone walked in and was with someone within minutes. Left only an hour later with a brand new s8+ and a much cheaper monthly bill due to some discounts the great staff found for me.
Shop here for an upbeat five star experience! Brandon was very helpful and it is always so much fun to buy in this high tech Verizon store. Super friendly atmosphere with lots to choose from in every price range on any budget. They are patient too if you cant decide. Brandon gave me lots of helpful information suitable for my specific needs. I got an unbeatable price on a Samsung tablet as well as an amazing trade in deal on the Google Pixel 2 XL I chose with UNLIMITED Cloud storage. Oh the fun!! I highly recommend shopping at this location for simple needs as well as all the bells and whistles! Thank you everybody!
The people are nice and friendly, but they dont tell you everything you need to know or they lie about it. I live an hour away and to make two extra trips to get things figured out because they lied each time. After the second time, I spoke to a manager and he was really nice and helped me get everything straightened out. The only one who actually done something to help me, but Ill never return back to this store!

Was on hold for half an hour just to have 2 imei numbers ran and never got to talk to anyone.
Very disappointed in service ! Husband purchased new phone to be mailed to our home. Gave correct address and they somehow felt it needful to try to deliver another address..after many phone calls gave up. Never got phone.. and to add insult, consultant in Verizon decided he wanted to save us money on our plan..increase data plan would cost us 10$ less a month. After verifying three times it would not cost extra, he assured us it was a new plan to save money, we agreed. Got our Bill and they had increased all lines by at least 5$ plus added 17$ to a bill I had paid in full the previous month. They couldnt tell me what that was for. Today we went to another verizon store to purchase my husband a new phone and we could not purchase because they had a pending correction (they owed us) plus a 60+ credit on account for mistakes they had made. You owe us money and still unable to pay cash and buy a new one. Bad business people! Oh I forgot, took almost an hour on the phone to straighten these problems! The person we called to help with these issues was polite and helpful to be fair!
Love the store supposed to have 5G service okay? Dont love the monthly bill though!!! I have had the same cell number for 22 years it might be time for a change!!

The sales people seem very nice and helpful....until you receive your bill and notice that you have been charged for things you didnt agree to and services cost way more than the quoted price!!! I dread going to a Verizon location. Would much rather call customer service!!!!
Employees will added things to your plan without telling you. They added an insurance for $11/ month. The manager Becky called to apologize but all she did was make excuses for her employee. Since the manager didnt say they would make efforts to prevent this from happening to others... BE CAREFUL with this store. Check your accounts before you leave to ensure you are only paying for what you want or need.

I went in to upgrade my phone and waited for almost an hour and half for some help. I even told a couple of the employees that I would like some help and what I was trying to do. They would talk to me for a minute and then literally walk off. But instead they spoke with customers that came in the door after I did and helped them first. By far the worst service I have ever had here. Ive never been the type to leave a bad review anywhere but this has made me so mad! Horrible customer service

The sales person took me right in and took care of what I needed. It was quick and essentially painless.. although I did pay off my phone..that hurt a little.😉I have a Moto Z3 and the downfall I have with Verizon is that they carry maybe 2-3 phone cases for this brand. I wasnt happy about that. But if you have iPhones you have a huge selection of cases.All in all I have dealt with Verizon for many years and I have had no trouble from them. They always been as helpful as possible.

I never had problems with verizon before but when I went in last time I did not received good service. The lady who was helping was not sounding friendly and she just want to get rid of me as soon as possible, which was not nice on her part. I had some confusion about my bill so I just wanted to clarify that but she was like I cannot look at the bill right now I was like ok can you see what extra charges I have on my bill she was like that will be $2 to print I was like ok leave that and I asked I have not been getting my paper bills from last two months so what the problem her reply was I don’t know so I asked if she can waive my late fee she said she can’t do but I had the same problem when I first move her but at that time the guy that helped me waived my late fees twice but again I was like that’s ok I will pay late fee. Overall the experience I had with Verizon last time was not very good. For last time 1 star and for every other times 5 stars.

I suspended my daughters phone due to her behavior...keep in mind that the phone was on MY plan in MY name. I had no idea my daughter could go to the Kingsport Verizon Store and ask them to move the phone I am still paying on to a prepaid plan and they would do it!That is the case, tho! I was at work when it took place and, yes, someone from Verizon did call my cell and send a text. I replied to the text stating that I was currently at work, could not talk and would call when I got a chance. I am guessing that was a good enough ok.Imagine my surprise when my daughter has that very same phone that was on my plan, the bill for it is on my plan and she is paying a prepaid plan!When I message the Verizon customer service on the app I am told that the phone will be moved, not a problem. And I can keep the suspended line. Guess what?! STILL paying for that phone.So I call the Kingsport store and speak with Kristin. Kristin tells me that it’s really not possible to move a phone that is being paid for to a prepaid plan but she’d check in to it and call me back. About 20 minutes later she calls back stating that she can ABSOLUTELY ASSURE ME that the phone my daughter is using IS NOT the phone I am paying on.Well, the phone my daughter is using has the same crack on the corner AND the dark spot on the lower half where she had to have the screen replaced. I am amazed that two phones can look so identical from being dropped! Service both online and in this store could use an overhaul. And I am ready to tell Verizon to eat that phone and the imaginary one that Kristin made up.I went in the Verizon store over the weekend and was told that a phone CAN be moved from someone’s account even tho it is being paid on, providing the phone is not reported stolen. So basically, any 18 year old that gets mad at their parents & has their phone suspended can go to the Verizon store and move their phone that is STILL being paid on to a prepaid plan!! That’s THREE different stories that I’ve gotten now! It’s amazing how Verizon can not seem to tell the truth!
Don’t bother trying to contact them. In store you’ll have to wait at least 45 minutes, and over the phone the wait could be even longer. Pathetic. That’s why we switched to T-Mobile with crappy service because Verizon has no customer service!Update: reply from Verizon was generic and didn’t offer A real solution for me or anyone else who is going to have the same problem.
This place takes way to long... and I asked what was the difference between them and the Verizon at Allendale, and she flat out lied, said they could not do what we needed to do.... well they did it and I also came out $130.00 cheaper. GO TO ALLENDALE STORE..

Everything at the Verizon store takes forever! I didnt like that when I went in to purchase a car charger I was not offered the option of just the cord, but was sold a single piece charging unit for $44. Their philosophy is how much can we get out of the customer instead of how can we best serve the customer!!!

Todays the first day they actually made me mad they price me watch it 200 cuz the new ones came out at 399 said it would be 10 extra dollars on my bill and Im very poor and cant really afford stuff like that there was only $16 a month on the bill but because it was only $200 and $10 a month I was game well I was all in he wanted me to pay it was like 299 and $16 a month he actually had all the facts wrong got my hopes up so I guess Im pouting I dont even wear a watch and I really want the smart watch

I tell you, I am NOT a happy camper. I purchased a Moto Z 2? Camera mod, extra battery mod, glass protection, a bumper, almost $1200 worth of product. Frustrated for almost a month cause I was thinking learning curve from a Droid to MOTO? Why does this phone not charge my battery mod? Why do I not have a back button, the circle/ square buttons? Then, I go back to store. The mngr sees my issue gives me a new battery mod, it works. Then finds when I bought the new phone a hiccup followed or came on the transfer of info...and app with a plus or + can cause issues, mine was Calculator+. Ok got new battery mod, found an issue but store says we will order you a new phone to get sure...they are the experts. Ok new phone comes...then another problem with the new battery...again? I have send for a replacement from Motorola, but Verizon personnel says we can have you another phone sent out...I say another new phone?. The Verizon employee states no, when we get a phone resent it is with like kind...so I asked, when My phone was less than a month old and I got another phone was it new? She said no, if it came from Verizon it was refurbished. I fussed, complained, wrote Motorola, that the first exchange should have been with like kind ..NEW! SO, bottom line I paid NEW phone price for a REFURBISHED phone! Now being more educated on this, I should not have accepted 2 phone exchange cause the phone was most likely ok it was the battery.. Now, like my grandson noted to me, Why go with a phone that you have buy mods, when an I phoneX makes great pics, has a long battery life, and cant get a virus? Umm. I am left with my mouth open... Brand loyalty? ..
Very bad experience with this store speciallywith Micheal Smith. He tell me all the lies and sale the services not even exist. I return all my phone and watches but they dont have money to return back to me, they dont know when they gonna have money to return to .e and make me wait whenever they have money. Dont go there please.

Went in to pay my monthly bill. A pretty lady named eveleigh opened the door and asked if she could help. Just needed to pay bill but she pulled my account up an was able to knock $10 off my monthly bill. She was very helpful and ive been with verizon since 2004 for a reason.

The managers hiding in the back of our phones blow up in our hands we had to LG k-30 V and the berry got real hot and blew up Verizon didnt want to help us after we had our contract phones and theyre still contract they tell people they aint got contractor damn liar customer service sucks but when you buy a phone there they dont want to help you out no more and they gave us our money back after dropping a little bit 800 number helped us out more than the store manager Eric and I will stay this and supposedly he says that were supposed to be family when you come in there and we treat you like family thats a damn lie mr. Shipley sucks on his attitude I think he needs to get fired the door people need to sit down and get out of peoples faces thats one thing its must be a must or not security guards are cops and I hope this review helps thank you God bless and I will never shop there again
