I phoned the main number for Extra Space storage and the person forwarded my information to the local facility I was asking about, Angelina called me in about 10 minutes after I hung up from the corporate rep. Angelina was very kind and she explained everything in detail about our storage needs and made sure that we were more than satisfied with the service. She was incredibly friendly, professional and helpful! I hope that all Extra Space Storage Staff are as great as she was!

I loved the storage unit. Very clean!!!!! And a huge plus was the digital access to let you in the gate. And not to forget the employees are so nice and helpful. I totally recommend them 💯

Angelina was very helpful and kind! I was on the waiting list for a storage unit for about a week and she made it very easy to obtain the unit. She was upfront about all of the costs and such as well as helpful in giving directions to the unit so it will be easier to find when we get there. I definitely recommend this place - they are pretty affordable and very flexible.

Angeli from the Kent store helped me set up and rent my storage unit today, at the Mentor Heisley store. To say that she was absolutely incredible would be a colossal understatement. Her positive attitude and vibrant energy entirely boosted my spirit! I was very relieved to have a great experience today after numerous poor customer service experiences from other local storage rental companies.

My wife and I are moving to the Akron, Ohio area. We needed a storage unit to store our stuff for a month. With the shortage of storage units in that area we were concerned that we would not find something. Angelina at Extra Space Storage had a few spaces come available and took care of getting us our storage unit. It did not matter that we only needed it for a month, she was kind and helpful, even working with a client from another state. I would recommend their customer service over other storage places in the area.

I purchased my storage unit online. The online process made it quick and easy to purchase the size I wanted who are the time frames that I wanted. I still had some questions about getting to the facility and how to get in, The tenet was very helpful and answered all of my questions plus more!

Really glad I found this place! I was hoping for somewhere nearby to Tallmadge that was safe and affordable, and Extra Space in Kent is perfect. Loved the online tool that virtually packs the different size storage units, so you can see which to use. And the employees have been SO HELPFUL. This is my first time renting a unit, and Angelina has been patient, thorough, and friendly. She walked me through the process, explained the contract, and even helped me find possible deals. They even helped me get into my unit a week early than planned, so I have more time to move. Really grateful for the huge relief Angelina and her team have given me!

My experience from start to finish has been amazing. I stored my things at the recommendation of a friend who had stuff there as well. I have no regrets. Cody was so prompt and polite. I work in customer service, and he was just stellar by my standards (which are high). Move in was so easy—especially considering I needed to switch to a bigger unit the day of moving in. If you need somewhere to store your things, do yourself a favor and do it here. :)

Got locked in facility. Stuck inside for over an hour. Was a few minutes after close when i left. Apparently no one checks camera before they leave. Support on phone was helpful enough but manager was a wretch when she showed up finally. Leaving facility and going to drastically cheaper competitor.Wish i could post screenshots. Tried to contact company headquarters to let them knkw about this isuue. Response was esentially ( and im BARELY paraphrasing) too bad. Go somewhere else then.Check around. Much better prices to be found for comparable units in same area. They dont do anythong extra to warrant higher prices.Do not recomend.

I canceled in June I paid a month ahead and still waiting for my money back they tell me to call I call I called corporate they tell me I got to call the office we’re I had my unit I do that they tell me oh a check is coming in a couple weeks still nothing I get a phone call last month of them saying that they have a new system and they seen I still haven’t got my money there going to call the main corporate office cause there going to fight for me to get my money and I would get a call back at 4 so four o’clock comes and goes no phone call back. Don’t trust these people they will take your money and play games with you. I even used my debt card and they tell me that can’t put it back on my card they have to send me a check, so they quick to take it off my card but can’t put it back this place is a joke.To the corporate don’t ask me to call this number cause I did last time I posted and all they said was Call where you had your storage at I’m done with the run arounds I’m bout to take this to court I’m done playing phone tag and lies.

I had a very positive experience with Extra Storage .I went in a week ago And talked with Cody and a week later Cody called me to let me know that a 10x20 unit had opened up. They are replacing the latch for me on the unit before I move my things in. I felt a very fair price and very accommodating. Cody is such a nice young man and is so professional. Great staff and clean facilities. We got new bank cards when ours expired and I forgot to update the card for the auto pay. Not only did they update my account with the new card for future payments but also reversed the late fee for me. I loved the facility so much that when we moved to MD it took me 8 years to move my stuff to a closer Extra Space Storage and convenience is the only reason we moved but I stayed with Extra Space.

This is my familys first experience using a storage facility. We made several calls and drove by several while looking for something reasonably priced in the Kent area. This one felt right from the very beginning. It is very clean and well kept. Working with Cody, first over the phone and then in person has been a pleasure. They had the unit I needed, when I needed it. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Price seemed to be a bit less expensive than other storage facilities, although I only checked a couple. Pleasant surprise: I moved out of my storage unit on a Sunday and planned to call Monday morning to let them know. Before I could call, I got an email confirming my move out. The manager had apparently seen that the lock was off of my unit, checked that it was empty, and processed the move out. Ill definitely consider using Extra Space again, if necessary.

Great experience over the years! This is my 3rd year using Extra Space to store my seasonal vehicle. I continue to return since theyre professional and accommodating for my needs. They honor their online prices, reservations are quick and easy with no surprises and I have never been overcharged.

Just moved out of here after 5 years! I never had any issues. Next time I would get a climate controlled unit though and make sure to cover everything as bugs still get it. Staff is great here, wish the prices hadnt increased so much year over year (almost doubled in 5 years), but besides that, great experience.

Reserved a second floor storage unit and when I arrived to sign the paperwork one of the employees had shared with me that a first floor unit had opened up and I was able to utilize that one if I wanted to. Awesome place!I will start off by saying that Eric is awesome and a life saver. On the day that I was set to move into my new home I lost the key to my storage unit. I was worried it was going to be a big inconvenience and time consuming, time that I did not have. And Eric had that bad boy opened up in about 10 minutes with a smile on his face like he had been waiting all day for me to ask him to cut the giant disk lock I had on that unit. Saved my day for sure.I only stored with them for a few months but have nothing but good things to say. Would definitely recommend them. The price was good, the staff was great, very very very easy to work with across all avenues of the business. Extra Space is on the top of my list for future storing needs.
