Was really good for a while. been here for many many years with multiple relatives also. they have all left to due to the small but consistent price increases but i stayed due to the local business i wanted to support opposed to the big chain storage companies. just got a letter that my rate went up 44% for someone that has never been late on a payment and been there a long time. they said the management company that controls them raised the rate. i always thought they were family owned. the lady said they were but i told them that wasnt really the case if a management company was dictating the rules. they said they had no control of it. if someone told me that about a company that i owned i would definately make some changes. off to a new storage place.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! We moved our things to this facility in August of 2020. This month (May) we received a notice in the mail that they were modestly increasing our monthly rental rate next month. The modest increase is from $83.00 to $179.00. For those who dont math - that is a 115% increase, which they referred to as modest. Certain this was a typo, we called the facility and the person that we spoke to seemed to be completely oblivious as to how business works and insisted we would have to email to get an answer. We did. It wasnt a typo. They are just extremely shady and opportunistic. They use one rate to get you to move all of your things and then modestly increase your rate, with a nondescript letter (which could easily have been overlooked) in less than a year. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.And as for your response: The unit is in my husband, Steven Kyles name. We most certainly DO have an account. He has TRIED to email with you guys and responded to your previous email assuring us that the price increase was correct. So far, hes been unable to get a follow-up response. Ill pass THIS response from you on to him though.

The facility was clean, the office staff was amazing! Quick yet efficient! It’s a simple storage facility but well maintained. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I wanted to support a local business. they were easy to work with, showed me the unit i was getting. Honest about how nice it is. Basically same as your garage. great solution for the price. Easy payment and sign up. gate is easy to get in.

The guy was very warm, friendly and professional. Not to mention fast. He was more than willinging and able to help and I appreciated it! I recommend this place for storage as it is nicely gated and affordable.

Raised the prices drastically got move out

Had a little confusion with the online registration. But a call to the office was answered by a courteous person who fixed it within minutes. Unit was clean and a new lock waiting inside.

First user of the new online process...went smoothly. On-site manager was very helpful. Our storage unit was spotless and easy to get to.

Ive had a storage unit here for 18 years, but due to the new managements recent decisions to nolonger receive occasional packages and frequent price hikes, Im decided to change storage facilities.Good luck if you need storage.

Kennesaw Self Storage is a local business ( not a national chain) and I appreciate the personal service you get compared to many other Places. Laurie and Kenny, do such a good job! They are very Helpful and always look out for our best interest. They are a Great team!Thank you for all you do!

UPDATED REVIEW..Jan. 6th, 2019....I have tried for 2 weeks now to contact the regional manager. I spoke to Lori, in the office, as well as Kenny. I have been trying to see if they would match the rate online since I have been a loyal customer since 2012. But they will not. That rate is $14 less but they only do things like that for new customers...per Lori. Also, she said that If I were new, I could have that rate but since I am not, my unit costs more, but...If I want to get that rate I have to get another unit in a different persons name. I tried to contact the regional manager, Mr. Cedric Johnson but he can only be reached by certain people by email only. I called the corporate office and spoke to a very nice young lady. She was the receptionist and she assured me I would get a call from Mr. Johnson...but I did not. I have left 3 messages for him to no avail. This storage facility DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. THEY WILL RAISE YOUR RATE AS SOON AS THEY CAN. NEW CUSTOMERS ARE IMPORTANT UNTIL THEY SIGN A CONTRACT...THEN, YOU ARE SIMPLY JUST $$ COMING IN....BEWARE!!!!Review posted 2017:I have been storing there for many years with previous owners, the folks in there now boost the prices every year now and they claim to have secure access but they arent completely closed in and the front gate is never closed and another business also resides on the property, (possibly landscape type business, not sure) and people are always coming and going from there.....they require you to buy insurance there but its ridiculous, doesnt cover hardly anything ......they suck and the lady in the office is NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL, never smiles and never answers any of your questions.....the previous owners made it great, these new folks are corporate owned and just dont care about the customer, just your money.....
