Super friendly staff. Very professional. Nice clean units.

Needed a 10x20 climate controlled storage unit. I first stopped at the Wade Green location, but found that they did not have any cc units. I spoke with Sarah there and she referred me to the Frey Rd. location. There I met with Samantha who gave me the tour of their facility and ended up leasing a unit. Both Sarah and Samantha are the only reason I chose Compass. Great customer service, especially these days, is paramount. With employees like this I can see why they have a successful business. This facility is amazing. Management is so helpful and friendly. The property is clean, neat and well lit. We feel like our items are secure and will definitely use them for a long time. The staff was very knowledgeable about uhaul ad made that process a breeze. Thanks guys!

I was very happy with the customer service here. April and Samantha were very helpful and wonderful, Would highly use them again and most def. recommend them to family and friends.

Was asked to docu sign for renting a storage space. AFTER I signed each part April gave me different fees from the original 107$ verbally. 25.00 deposit and 12$ insurance fee was added after I signed . I told her we had renters insurance and asked her to remove the fee but she refused. Never offered any senior or AARP discount. Overall, she comes across as dishonest and uncaring.

We hadnt accessed our unit in a couple of years so we forgot the location of and combination to our unit. When we explained to Michelle that it had been in my fathers name originally but that he had recently passed away but as hed left authorization for me to have all access she made it beyond easy for us. She was professional and delightful. I can only say that if everyone we had to deal with had her attitude and courtesy life would be more pleasant for us all.

Highly recommend storing your belongings somewhere else. Expect no favors under any circumstances. Asked for two very simple requests after inheriting a storage unit from my deceased sister. The first one being a rate reduction to market rate which would have been approximately $75 less. Was told the only way that could happen is if I moved all my sisters stuff into another unit. Seriously? The second was asking for a refund after clearing out the unit for the remainder of the month which would have been approximately 75% of the monthly rate. They will not make exceptions to their contract whatsoever, not even for when their customer legit dies. Dealing with my sister’s death is difficult enough but this is unforgiving. I didn’t ask for my sister to die and I certainly didn’t ask to inherit the storage unit but what I did ask for were two simple favors. Point blank, either management or the owners are money hungry individuals who will not bend the rules for unfortunate circumstances. Take your business elsewhere.

Wow reading the last persons post i was expecting an evil staff when i worked with them on getting rates on my truck. However, the staff is fantastic. Donald and Maryanne where very helpful. They explained the rules and where very CLEAR on procedures. Guess i just understand business better then some! Great staff!

U-haul rental was without incident.

Donald and Maryann were very professional and friendly. I asked them about what happens when I am ready to vacate my unit, as I am working on my home and they advised of the process in full detail. I LOVE that they were upfront with me about all questions that I had asked. GREAT job Donald and Maryann for making me feel secure storing with you!

Easy Amazon Locker Drop-off - Friendly Helpful Staff

Been with this Storage company over a year now. Robin has always been nothing but AWESOME (angel) and Donald has always been AWESOME. . I wish I could give more stars....Units are Clean and staff is always helpful and courteous.

I would highly recommend Compass. They were so friendly and helpful. I love Mrs. Robin. She is the sweetest and even called around to other locations to find a uhaul for me because there was an issue with the one I wanted. I also had an issue when I was moving out, which I created myself, and Mrs. Robin and her husband helped me, no questions asked.

Rented a U-Haul Cargo Van here, smooth rental experience.

My experience with this company did not meet my expectations. I rented a space and found that I didnt need the space just 24 hours later. I never accessed the unit at all but was told by Management that I had lost my money and would not receive any reimbursement at all. I wish they would have considered my situation and the fact that I never stepped into the unit but that wasnt the case. Thats a huge amount of money for me to lose but Management trumps little people. Next time Ill go to another provider where they would have at least provided a prorated refund. My advise read my experience before making your decision.

Would give 0 stars if I could. COMPLETELY misleading on thier website. Reserved a unit online that offered 1st month free. Received confirmation email stating unit, price, and confirmation of first month free. Then got a call from the manager stating that the unit was NOT reserved until I put down a deposit for administrative fee, and I woul NOT get the first month free. Even though that is what I was told. Completely unprofessional and bad business. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE! There is something sketchy going on here. Every last piece of my belongings in my unit were stolen. When I went to move out the lock was different. When we cut off the lock it was completely empty. The last time I was in the unit was 14 days ago and everything was there.Their website says that they have Security Cameras with 24 Hour Video Recording. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS! They only have a camera on the gate. So when your stuff goes missing there will be no footage to catch the culprit. And they wont be concerned that your stuff went missing on their property, they will just blame you.I would NOT recommend renting a unit from these people.

This place is great! I am the mother of a college student who needed a storage bin while his new dorm apartment is getting ready. I called a month ahead to reserve this unit, however the reservation did not hold. While I was upset about this, Jessica jumped through hoops to see if she could find me a bin and she did, within the hour! My son and I had a very pleasent experience here! Rented a uhaul. Very little parking but its usually not busy. They dont pull the uhaul up for you to get or check it with you. They just hand you the keys and tell you look up the hill and find your truck

The staff is exceptionally friendly and will go the extra mile to assist you no matter what you throw at them. Donald Housholder, General Manager, has a heart of gold!! The Kennesaw staff is great about sending you email reminders on when your payments are due as they understand we all have busy lives and forget. The staff are very personable by always take the time to chat to see how your doing, joking or telling stories. Anything you need from from changing gate pass codes, changing locks, offering suggestions on charities/donation locations, moving out of state or whatever your needs may be they got you covered. They are quick to respond to your emergency situations and/or repairs needed on your storage unit. And on occasion they are willing to stay a little bit late so you can hand deliver your payment knowing its the last day and you live an hour or more from the location. The 5 of 5 stars is because of the excellent staff at the Kennesaw location, the very well kept Kennesaw property and clean storage facilities. I cannot thank the past and present Kennesaw staff enough, especially Donald Housholder, for everything they have assisted me with over the past two years!!!The only negative aspect is the $20.00 price increases on the storage units every 6 months. Understandably, the price increases are coming from the corporate office and not the Kennesaw location. Therefore, I have did not include this as part of Compass Self-Storage Kennesaws score.
