I had a GREAT time today taking a class at Rockler Woodworking from Sam. I made a cheese board. I was introduced to and used 5 new pieces of equipment, in addition to using several tools that I was already familiar with. Sam was very patient with my questions, and was very knowledgeable in all aspects of woodworking. I look forward to taking another class.

Soo many great woodworking tools and supplies to choose from! We found this newer store yesterday and were lucky to find sales discounts on nearly everything purchased! There are conveniently located just off of the Interstate at Barrett Parkway! Convenient to I 75 and I 575. This shopping center has many more places to choose from for additional shopping...even has a sushi restaurant! The wood here is beautiful and the selection is great! Worth a trip!

I was so excited when I found out we were getting a Rockler woodworking store close by. Sure we have a home depot and Lowes close by which I frequent often but some things cant be bought at the big box stores. I had been in this store probably a dozen times and always had a pretty decent experience but nothing compared to this weekend. I had finally decided to pull the trigger on a new Sawstop professional cabinet saw and had searched a few online stores but ultimately found out all online retailers charged $250 freight. (For anyone that doesnt know sawstop has fixed pricing) So I called Rockler and to my disappointment they had just sold the last one. They told me they would have one coming in on truck Friday or Saturday. Perfect. Well truck came and no saw. I called to find out and he told me the news but then the associate said Jeff the manager was driving to the Sandy Springs store to get the exact saw I wanted! Holy cow thats awesome Ive never had a store or manager go that far above and beyond to take care of me! I got there Saturday to pick it up in my explorer. The associate and I werent sure it would fit and sure enough here comes Jeff he jumped in the back of my car and we muscled it in (weighs about 500lbs) and got it to fit so I didnt need to go rent a trailer. These guys went out of their way to make sure I got my saw when I wanted it. Thank you guys! Got a lifelong customer in me.

Met two Bob, filled with experience and knowledge. Turning wood for pens and bowls was explained and I hope to attend class in Fall. They allow me to use machine. Well done... good service!

Great store and staff for people looking for wood working tools,information, and materials. They offer classes for multiple task in a wood shop to expand on your own skills. Tool selection is top notch here. Hand tools are plentiful chisels, hand planes, Japanese pull saws, coping saws to name a few. Small power tools like routers, drills, sanders. Bigger power tools like sawstop table saws, Jet and Rikon on the band saws and multiple brands and sizes of lathes and turning tools. If you need any router bits they have literally cases to choose from. Large quality drilling and cutting section. Lots to choose from in the sanding and finishing area of wood working. If your curious about woodworking or wood turning of any sort stop in and check out this great store.This is my own opinion and I am not supported in anyway by Rockler.

I went in to purchase some things for my husband for a Christmas gift. I had no idea what I was buying but figured he could just exchange it for what he wanted if I erred. He went to exchange two items (total $ amount around $225). He did not have a receipt so they only offered him store credit for $150 or so. The items were on the shelves for the amount that I paid but they claimed they could not give credit for the full amount without a receipt. The items were from their line of tools so its not as if it came from another store. I understand not exchanging for a monetary refund; I was sure he would at least get store credit as other establishments do when you dont have a receipt. We did find the receipt and are returning for a full refund. We will not be exchanging for something else; they will not receive any of my money again.

Spent over $4,000 dollars there at Christmas time on a big project. Bought a the sander below and it broke after one use!!! Cheap plastic support. No big deal I will bring it back to store OBVIOUSLY a bad design. Funny the unit in the store was broken SAME spot.The manager rudely tells me too bad no his problem!!!!! FIRST bad review ever on someone.I WILL NEVER EVER BUY from this store or chain again!!!! I make $125 and hour woodworker this looser makes $20 and has attitude...WOW!!!

My hubby went in and was in heaven. All the needs of and info along with the right equipment for all woodworking things. Good thing he wasnt allowed to have credit card or the truck would be full . He Cant wait to go back. The help was so knowledgeable and would show anyone how to use all equipment they sell.

This store is awesome, and they’ve been extremely helpful when I needed help finding things or boards cutdown; and great advice too.

I have given this review 2 stars due to the employees. The employees are wonderful, knowledgeable and always there to help. The lack of the other 3 stars are due to the store in general. They are half a step ahead of Home Depot in tools though it is still your over priced-DIY kind of stuff. Rockler has turned into a harbor freight of stores. Instead of selling name brand items and carrying a vast of array of planes or blades, they have 3 planes which are your standard good grade Stanley. No lie Nelson.I am sorry to see this store go to a harbor freight type setting but unfortunately the owners have made their decision. Highland woodworking will be the only place in Georgia to sell true woodworking equipment and tools. Not knockoffs.

I have visited the local major home store often and I have come to expect it to be challenging to find truly knowledgeable help on the floor of those stores. This store is quite different. I was quite pleased to find this store is easy to find knowledgable help that I dont have to wait to talk to. I also appreciate the quality of goods that are sold here. It is an enjoyable, and learning, experience, every time I come here.
