Outstanding communication and order management! Placed order using the HomElectrical website; one day later, received an order acknowledgment which included my assigned order number AND the scheduled ship date for the items I purchased; two days later, received a shipping acknowledgement including an order tracking number. And, the actual ship date was 10 days ahead of the date originally communicated in the order acknowledgment I received! A GINORMOUS Thank You to the HomElectrical Team!

I wish I could give them zero. Ordered switches/cover plates over a month ago. Nothing special. Kept getting put off with delivery dates five times. Finally canceled the order. I would recommend you stay away from this company. If you have a schedule to keep this is not the company to buy from.

I ordered 62 Eaton screw-less wall plates for them. Waited more than a week for items to be delivered.After arrival, I started to open items one by one and put them on the walls. I noticed items have some dents or scratches. First, I thought, ok, this happens, I can put the defective ones on the outlets, those hidden under the desks etc., and I continued to open items one by one; unfortunately, all the items had some defects like scratches and dents.So I stopped opening them after about 20 items and emailed customer support about return and full refund. They wanted me to send photos shows the defects and a photo of the packaging slip (why?). After sending the photos, the customer rep wanted me to send photos for all defective items (62 ???)I tried to convince her thats not the correct way to process a return, and I dont have time to open the rest of the items and take a picture of each defect. After exchanging 5 or 6 emails and a couple of hours, she agreed to send me a return number after I was accepting the shipping cost will be $23.50 after the items are inspected if it is deemed that they are not damaged or defective since you are not wanting to send us pictures of the damages. Do you accept?After I ordered, one of my friends said, Same items are being sold on Amazon, why dont you cancel your order while its still processed and buy directly from Amazon, so youll have peace of mind about the items and I said, I want to give them a chance, I already waited a couple of days. Now, I regret…I dont know how this will end, nor will I get a full refund; I highly suggest everyone buy from somewhere else where returns are not that kind of problem.

I could not see how much the shipping was until I hit order. They were $ 29.99 for a $9.99 order. I went right back and tried to cancel the order but they sent me an email saying that it was shipped already . Sorry but this is a very bad way to set up your web site.

We ordered a small HVAC unit for our dog grooming store. After we found out that the unit would not fit our needs, we reached out to return the unit. Our cleaning crew, accidentally threw out the original box (we still have all the parts and the unit was never used) so we reached out to see how they would like us to ship it. We offered to accept a restocking fee or other charges for the box, however they would not let us return the unit. We had Lecray (i think this was their name) tell us that we could return the unit still, but later they said we could not.I have never heard of a company that would not allow people to return an item due to losing the original packaging. Their customer service throughout the entire process was below subpar. If youre thinking of ordering a unit from this company, I highly advise you to look elsewhere. This may be my worst experience with a company in my entire life.

DON’T SHOP HERE!!! Even if you found cheaper price point for a few bucks. It’s NOT WORTH THE TIME AND HEADACHE. I placed an order for a couple carbon detectors a month ago and they kept pushing back the arrival date. When I placed the order, it was promising to arrive in 7-10days time, which is a complete lie. Then I canted them for a refund and the lady told me it would take another 7-10 days. At this point I just contacted my credit card company. For one, they should never charge me unless they have shipped the product. For two, I’m basically told they were too busy to treat my refund as priority.

I saw filters on their site which we have been trying to get for months, they had them 130$ for 148 filters which was a deal since they sell them around 60$ each, i called to make sure this was correct as it seemed too good to be true, the girl on the phone confirmed that it was correct. so i went ahead and ordered. 10 days later, i have received 2units. and a 110$ bill for custom fees. now they have removed them from their site and sell them per unit at 60$ each, which means if i only wanted 2 i overpaid by 10$ and all the girl on the line can say is bare with me and one moment, and its the vendor and the item will be priced as is... very misleading site, and poor customer service. never again.

It took several weeks for my order to ship and the post office never received it. They told me to wait 2 weeks as the post office usually finds things. Well they never found it, and by that time Home Electrical did not have any more items in stock so they refunded me my money. I guess I should be thankful for that. Do not waste your time with this company. No customer service...

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering. These folks process the payments instantly but ship at their leisure; meaning they dont have the items they advertise. Still waiting for my simple light bulb order. They notified me 3 days after processing my payment that my order would be delayed over a week (for light bulbs?). Still waiting for shipment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER or at least be aware of the risk.

Good price. Had a question so I used their online contact form, then saw a number to call, and a real person picked up immediately. She didnt know the answer to my specific product question but called someone in the warehouse (while I was on a very brief hold) and got me a very understandable answer. All this in just a few pleasant minutes on the phone. Overall, the best customer service Ive experienced in a long time (and I dont say that lightly).

Good process except that during the checkout process your order is eligible for free shipping was misleading. Unless I ordered $75 total I wouldnt get free shipping. You should note this during the checkout process not just on your main website screen.

Horrible experience. Ordered 3 switch plates that were in stock. They were not. After 14 days they have not shipped. Three calls to customer service and they said they are waiting for the vendor to send them so Homelectrical can ship them. You would think in stock means they have them. Never order anything from them. I will write to BBB.

All these positive reviews are fake! 3 months and still hadnt received my order. Kept getting email after email my timer switch was on back order, even though their website said they had it in stock. Canceled my order, ordered it on Amazon for $10 cheaper and arrived the very next day. HomElectrical is the worst company ever. Good customer service thats about it.

Ordered on 9/19 (5 Enerlites 15 Amp Tamper Resistant Duplex Receptacle, Self-Ground, Push & Side Wired, Black). On 9/22 (3 days later) received a confirmation stating that the order would ship NO LATER than 9/29. (TEN days for a shipping date??) On 9/30 with no tracking number as promised I wrote to ask where it was and was told their shipper was late (they received it 9/30) and it would now go out on 10 /1 and I wont receive it until 10/3 at the earliest! ANY OTHER BUSINESS would have expedited/upgraded shipping since it was their fault...but not HomElectrical;. Customer service is non-existant!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

My order was delayed 1 month due to their vendor no longer carrying a product after saying the product was in stock on their web page. When I agreed to pay an up charge for a different product but requested they cover the expedited shipping (I was still willing to pay the original shipping cost) they didnt agree to pay for the expedite. I took my business elsewhere and was very happy with the customer support.

Really disappointed that you sold me items that weren’t in Stock. Your website should tell me when I am purchasing something if it is out of stock and won’t be shipped for a while. I really need the items and thought they would be shipped by now and now find out they won’t be shipped for another week and since I didn’t pay for quick shipping, it may be 2 weeks before I receive my items. Really disappointed. Would be nice if you would ship the items at a faster speed when you do get them, at your expense, since you sold me something that you didn’t have I stock.

Ordered a lot of items for a construction project and my receipt said it would ship in 3 days. Well, 4 WEEKS later I got a partial shipment after MANY EMAILS AND CALLS TO THEM then they told me my final products were shipping last week on Monday. YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM!!!They put me in a very bad situation. I called in to make sure they had the unit I needed in stock. I was told yes, so I placed my order, and was told that their warehouse would send it out same day or the day after. I called the day after, and unit still wasn’t sent. I was promised again that it would be sent out. 2 days later I had heard nothing, and called back in a 3rd time. I was told that my unit had been sold to someone else, and they’ll have my unit sent end of January 2021.. 3-4 months from now.. if I’m lucky!! Since winter is upon us, I cannot wait that long to get these installed, and therefor, this company can’t be trusted.. I now have to return the units I already have and but new units, and reschedule everything which will put me way into the cold months.. AND they didn’t seem to care.. good luck choosing them..

You can buy your products here and they will process it quickly, but good luck with their customer service. I started a return request and no one responded for a week. I decided to chat with an online rep, the person just told me to keep waiting and wouldnt answer any other questions. Then after an additional week, I finally got an answer. During that time I was out of town, and I was a day late to send my item back. I got a follow up email that pretty much read too late.

Placed a order on march 23 2020 for 2 z wave switches showing in stock got a email saying due to covid19 shipping is a little slow order will ship on 6/6/20 well that came and went. Next email your order is going to ship by 6/15/20 around 6/10/20 got a email switches are back ordered we have cancelled your order a refund has been issued to your card please allow 5 days. Well its now 6/20/20 and I no longer need the switches had to purchase from home depot to finish the job i started so instead of needing 2 switches i ended up having to replace 5 switches out so they all match. Still no refund from this place they have my money and every time i call the women that answers the phone just keeps telling me i need to wait its my bank that slow dont buy anything from this place its a scam. Hell they cant even spell there name right hom electrical.com that should have been a dead giveaway not to buy from this website.

Ordered over a month ago. Poor communication from company. I wrote back to their support line since the order was so late that I now had additional items I wanted to add. Added them. Weeks later the Company said they didnt get the amended order. Then they couldnt add the additional items because it is in Pick status. Would I like to place another one? Now a week and half later the order is still in pick status and no clue when Ill get the original order, since I wasnt about to place another one and the project I am working on is a month overdue already.

Dont order from this place if you actually want to receive items. I originally placed an order on May 8th. According to the website, everything I selected was in stock. However, the first scheduled ship date wasnt until June 9th. That didnt happen; an item was on back order. The next ship date was scheduled for June 24th. That didnt happen; now a different item was on back order. I talked to an agent and asked them to cancel the item that was back ordered, and she told me that my items would ship the next day, June 25th. This morning, June 29th, I spoke with an agent again to check on my order. Now a third item is on back order. I finally just cancelled the entire thing. I understand things got backed up because of the pandemic, but almost two full months and still nothing to show for it is unacceptable.

If you first do not succeed, try, try again. After a initial frustrating experience in trying to make a return, I decided to give it one more shot. I contacted Sylvie in customer service and explained the whole situation and she was very helpful. She graciously waived the 30% restocking fee. I deducted one star because I had to still pay the shipping to return the product. Thanks for your help Sylvie making a bad situation better!

Never use this company. The customer service is HORRIBLE. So we purchased my brother a gift (a set of tools) and chose not to use Amazon because we like to support small business. Unfortunately, this was a sad mistake to use this company. After receiving no confirmation email for the order, my brother’s birthday arrived 6 days later without any package being received. My mother thought she had made a mistake as she hadn’t received any confirmation or package, so she re-ordered the item. When she got her credit card statement she saw she was billed twice, and reached out to the company several times without being able to reach anyone. She received the first package 20 days after ordering, and then received the second set a few days later. Finally she spoke with someone who said she would need to print a shipping label from them (that they still haven’t sent) and pay the shipping charge of 26.50 to return the second set of tools. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. Not to mention the return policy states that if they don’t have the item by the 21st they won’t refund the item at all (it was a 200 dollar set).

Homelectrical has provided me with great customer service from the first call when I was just trying to understand what I needed to buy through the final one when I was arranging a return (due to my own error) and ordering an alternative. The CSR even contacted the distributor and arranged for the replacement part to be shipped same day rather than next day. I ordered two heaters and thermostats from these scammers. At first I simply received notice that the heaters were backordered 15 days, and would ship in approximately 2 weeks. The customer service person even contacted me and checked that I would be willing to wait the 15 days. I said sure, and that was in the very beginning of December (December 5th), and I was promised they would ship to me no later than the 26th of Dec. On December 28th I received a notice that it should ship no later than January 11th, no explanation, nothing, just more inexplicable delay. On January 10th I receive another email stating the order should ship no later than January 25th, OF 2021 (A FULL YEAR AND SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THAN PROMISED). At this point, the job I ordered these for has been cancelled by the client, I have lost money in the process, and I emailed Homelectrical customer service stating this is unacceptable. Several emails later, no response.Today I called them first thing this morning when I got a spare minute, and requested to cancel the order and get a refund. Elizabeth looked up my order number, and verbally confirmed that I would receive a full refund for all items not yet delivered. Later this evening, instead of a cancellation confirmation, I received a BACKDATED shipping notification with a fake tracking number. The shipping notification is dated for Dec 4 2019 (prior even to their first notification of delay on the backordered items). They are now trying to backdate a shipping notification to get out of hot water with the FTC, by creating fraudulent paperwork so they can say they shipped the order and no refund is due.These people are VILE SCUM, and now I have to lawyer up from across the country to make sure these thieves refund the money as required by FEDERAL LAW.For the love of your wallet, do NOT purchase from these people!
