Not a great experience with Ace in Kennesaw today. Called about availability of a product (their website indicated that they had 2 of them in stock). Associate who answered the phone placed me on hold while they called for someone to check whether it was in store. I waited for nearly 10 minutes only to be told that everyone was out unloading a truck, and was told to call back later. Arrived at store to check product availability for myself. It was NOT in stock as the website indicated. Found a similar product and purchased that. Cashier was short and not particularly pleasant. Poor management, poor service. Unimpressed.

I love Ace Hardware. They are a small boutique hardware store that has a little bit of everything. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Short story, I took my Stihl chainsaw to Ace Hardware, (Brookstone, Kennesaw, GA) and I asked specifically for just the fuel line to be changed out as I had just replaced the carb, filter, and spark plug at home. I noticed the young man wrote check fuel system when I got to the cashier. I asked the cashier to write replace fuel line only. He apparently didnt have the authority so he called the first guy to the counter. He gave me the old Itll be ok, hell know what to do. I go to pick up my saw today and they replaced the carburetor, fuel filter, spark plug, fixed a bent bar, which was operating fine hours before I brought it in. No phone call asking to authorize any extra work, just a $110 bill. This is a scam no different than putting things in my cart and making me pay for them! An appeal to the manager was no help, “the bill stands”. Avoid this place.

I went to Brookstone Ace because it’s close to my house. I’ve shopped there before. It’s a nice store.I needed some locks for my fence gates, some of that Great Stuff you fill cracks, some light bulbs and some paint for my bathroom.The Store Manager Chip helped me with everything. He said he was new to the company and he needed help with paint. He got a young man named Matt and got my paint.It was very good customer service. Chip gave me an Ace business card, thanked me and said call us for anything we can do for you. And he asked Matt to help me to my car with my merchandise. I’m very pleased.

Always have what I need and dont have to deal with the big box stores. Love my neighborhood ACE

I called into Ace Hardware to see if this specific store would be able to cut keys for older model cars and yes there were able to cut keys for my 1971 chevy El camino. I got home and the keys worked perfectly in the door and the ignition. Its always rewarding when you cannot find what you need at other store and the uniqueness of Ace Hardware store has the fix for your situation.

Good selection for extremely common repair items. Of course the high prices are a unwanted result of having them nearby.

Brookstone Beware! If you are looking for color matched paint. DO NOT GO HERE. I brought in the color code information and a sample color and told them I need the same color. They said it would be the same color. It was not the same color and when I tried to return the pain they said no returns even though what they sold me was not what they said it would be. $35 down the drain. I will not be shopping here any longer due to their poor customer service.

Went into Ace and someone immediately approached me and asked how can I help? He found what I was looking for and even showed me how to use it and tested it

Young woman on the phone was clueless, and didnt handle a simple phone call well, and, never bothered with a solution. Called another Ace Hardware further away, and they didnt have what I asked for, but, came up with a solution, as if they, actually, cared.

They are so nice I need to use a wrench and they let me borrow one from the back.

This has been the worse experience in my life I bought a Blackstone griddle with the surrounding shelf from this store and was told it would be delivered that Friday and waited for it never getting a call or showing up and when they came on Saturday a week later they forgot to attach the drip pan and the shelf was not attached or present now its two weeks later and I am still waiting for my griddle to be hooked up. After still waiting for my job to be done this sorry owned establishment has not offered me any sort of compensation a month after my purchase and I still cant get my order filled. Good luck using this ace store my best bet would have been going to home depot!

Had our lawn mower tuned-up there beginning of spring and it stopped working this week. Took it back and they charged me full price for ANOTHER tune-up. Two tune-ups in 3 months at full price at this location. I will not be back.

Clean store. Everything I saw was displayed nicely. Had a good selection for the item I was lookin for. An the lady that checked me out today was very nice an professional. Both cashiers good at getting people in an out.Kind of a drive for me but if ever in the area Ill go back for sure. Who knows, I might even make the trip if needed.

I use them to service my lawn mower. They charge 95 dollars which is not cheap but they do a full service including sharpening the blades. The customer service is great. They’ll help you loading/unloading the mower from your car, and they will call you when your machine is ready, usually in a week. However, don’t wait till Spring because that’s when they get really busy and it can take up to four weeks. So I advise to do this in December.

Very friendly staff. They sell and service stihl equipment. Repairs are very affordable and the technicians are very friendly.

On Friday March 22, I scheduled an appointment with Brookstone Ace Hardware to have my John Deere mower picked up for annual service. I scheduled the appointment with the store manager. Unfortunately, the mower was never picked up and no phone call to explain why.The following day, Saturday, I went into the Brookstone Ace to purchase a new lawn mower for my son and a Weber grill. While there I spoke with the store manager who stated that it got too late to pick up my mower on Friday but promised to have it picked up the following Monday. Monday came and went with no pick-up and no call to explain.At this point I gave up on Brookstone Ace. On Friday, March 29 I received a call from Brookstone Ace asking me when would be a good time to pick up my mower. I said at this point that I had given up on Ace and expressed my disappointment with their lack of communication especially with their store manager. I asked to pass along my disappointment to the store manager. At the very least, a good store manager would have called me to apologize for not following through with the mower pick up.I have spent thousands of dollars at this store since it opened and up until now was very pleased with this Ace. However, this is a disorganized store manager who lacks any customer service sense and for now Brookstone Ace has lost me as a customer.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My go-to location for quick hardware needs, replacement items and more. On our recent visit, we picked up tomato and green pepper plants for our garden. We also come here for pine straw for our flower beds -- very reasonable price and convenient.

Ace Hardware stores always have that local feeling, with the diverse product selection that a national chain brings. The staff at this Ace is the perfect combination of professional and neighborly, always eager to help. What sold me on that idea was the time one staff member told me once that I could buy a particular item cheaper somewhere else. That level of honesty only comes from companies that are in it for the long haul, rather than out to make a quick buck.

During the peak of this pandemic 1 in 5 employees was wearing a mask. Social distancing was difficult. Im guessing the health and consideration of the customer is not too important. If I could have gotten what I needed ANYWHERE else I would have.

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago. Awesome shopping experience . The two gentleman that helped me were so professional. Out of respect, I will not use their names but their first names begin with a B and J . both ...top shelf..great service..detailed, very patient as I purchased my large lawnmower. The gentleman who delivered the lawnmower was just as professional. I do not write a lot of reviews but this one is worth the time . Yes I will return.

Love the fact the there is a hardware store in the neighborhood. We have spent quite a bit there, shopping at least once a week. However, we are considering taking our business elsewhere. There is a tall young lady working the registers who is consistently rude, smug and generally unpleasant. Not just one time, but every time we are in the store when she is working. Her unpleasant attitude needs a swift, and firm adjustment. Extensive customer service training is in order. Or, maybe she should find another line of work. Having to deal with her is a very unpleasant experience. We are forced to take our business elsewhere.

Helpful staff.Good selection of parts, and many lines and products the Big Stores dont have.Everyday prices are not cheap but probably right around Suggested Retail.Their Holiday (nearly every Federal Holiday) sale prices are really good, and I think better than HD/Lowes sale prices.The service counter is something that the Big Stores dont have. This is something that makes hometown hardware stores preferable to me.If you want to get something repaired, rather than replacing it, try an Ace store first.And if you become a Ace Rewards member (free), additional savings on many Special Buys and Sale Prices makes it even better. It saves me about $20 to $30 a year over just their sale prices.

So I tried ordering a part for my toro lawn mower. I called first on Sunday mid afternoon and was told the parts order and mechanic was gone for the day. The sale person took my name number and said they would call me back. Sure no problem. Well Monday rolls around still hadnt heard anything so I called late Monday I would say about 4 or 5. I was told the same thing. Again took my name and number and was told they would call me back first thing. Well Tuesday rolls around still no call. So I called again and spoke to Hutch and provided him with the info for the part to be ordered. He said let him look it up and hell call me back within a few minutes. Well a few minutes turned into all day so I called again and he was gone for the day. Then I spoke to another person who in all honesty actually tried to help and I cant remember her name. She said the order would be put in on Wednesday and it would take a few days...well 3 weeks later no part...phone call... or anything. I tried to do the whole shop locally but I ended up ordering part on Amazon and got it 2 days. I would say stay away from them. I have never tried so hard in my life to give a business my money.

Dont go here for lawn mower repair.Took a riding mower there for repair. Was quoted 1-2 weeks. After countless phone calls and hounding them I finally got it diagnosed after 3 weeks. 2 more weeks for them to order the part (due to lack of effort on their end). When they started to install the part, they find it was diagnosed incorrectly and what I had told them what was wrong was actually the issue. I told them to not repair it and I was going to come pick it up. A few days later I showed to pick it up and found the mower in pieces sitting outside with bolts and the engine scattered over the grass. Mower had always been kept inside and in pristine condition. Mower is now staring to rust and battery is corroding.

Had two plumbing projects and Barry spent time finding the right parts and answering my questions. Great job, very helpful and friendly.

Love the store and the people but the hours are horrible. Closing at 7pm makes after work projects extremely difficult.

I will never go back. I try to support local business but I cant anymore.They are always rude there - like you are bothering them shopping in there store.We arrived 25 minutes before they closed and the made it so uncomfortable that we were in the store we left and went to home depot. They will be out of business real soon if they keep those employees.
