My Suburban needed a complete engine replacement. Mission sourced a new engine from GM, installed it, identified and repaired a Freon leak in the AC system during the install and flushed all 8 fuel injectors. This was all completed in a short period of time as I had an important long drive planned. The quality of work was top class, thank you Derrick and I was kept well informed throughout the work by Kevin. The price was reasonable and less than quotes I obtained from other well known local shops.

One of the most difficult task that confronts a Mini owner is to release their cherished possession to an automotive service center. A complete review of the work performed as well as any future services needs was noted. Such professional gentlemen here! I came in because I started my truck and heard a scary rumble sound and all my dash was lit. When I arrived, Jim came and told me they would run a diagnostic to figure what the problem was. Unfortunately, I was a victim of theft of my cataylic converter. When he handed me my keys back I inquired about payment for the diagnostic. He told me he wasnt going to charge me because what happened wasnt my fault. God bless you Mr. Jim! That was really stand up not to charge someone who was just victimized.

The first time I came to mission care was because Dicount Tire had accidentally broke something on my on my van when they were changing the tire. The staff at Mission Car Care in Katy was very professional. They took care of it. The place is very clean and organized. I went back second time for a oil change. I received again the same great service like the first time. I came back two weeks later for my alignment for my van because of news tires I just got. Once again they were very professional and great service. I would recommend this place to all my friends that live in Katy for their great professional services.

Ive had a 1996 dodge ram truck extended cab that they have put a 0 miles engine and new transmission in it. NO PROBLEMS SINCE 2017 WITH 100,000 MILE WARRANTY. I have a 2011 Camaro ss that they put in a new 0 miles engine in 2018 with 100,000 warranty. NO PROBLEMS. Just got my wife Chrysler 200s 2015 rotors and brake pads done. As you can see I trust them with my vehicles. Ive been dealing with Kevin. Thanks Mission Car care Family.

We went for an oil change and end up paying $1500 for small things we were going to fix in the future for a truck we justbought, they sent a quote and assume I was ok with the change. I end up using a credit card because work was already done.

Ive taken my 1998 Tacoma (original owner) to this place on several occasions. Good, friendly and professional service people. Ive always been satisfyed with their services. This last visit was for an oil change among other services needed. They did however forget to place a reminder sticker for my next oil change. Also, for some reason my inspection sticker was removed and hastily stuck back on my windshield again crooked. Somewhat trivial so I didnt inquire further about it. No big deal. I will continue to take it in for future service.

Until now this has been my go to auto shop for all of my needs. Although they are a bit on the pricey side at times recently they have really turned me off.Brought my truck to them a couple of times over the past couple months to fix a coolant leak which another mechanic after they worked on it found another leak that they didnt find but i paid for.Second trip to these guys to fix my AC unit (which required a full dismantle of my dash and electrical system in that area) resulted in additional $430.00 of repairs to my Drone Mobile security system on my truck.Now anyone can see with ease the cameras, and alarm system that is installed in this truck and no mechanics prior to this has ever left my truck in this condition. Cameras not working and complete failure of my security system.I would assume I am like most people when you bring your vehicle in for service and pick it back up you are focused on making sure the issue was fixed and not looking for other things. Well not only was my Drone Mobile security system (main component/Brain fried but the fuses to my front and rear dash cams was toast also). Once I discovered these items where not working I brought it to the Company that installed them and they advised that someone working on my truck sent a power surge to these components and fried them.Well these guys at Mission Auto Care are the only ones that had worked on my truck prior to the discovery that these items where not working anymore. When I bring them the report of findings and the bill, with-out hesitation refused to deal with it and said sorry not our problem. At the end of the day I have spent a fair amount of money with these guys over the years and did not mind it at all because they had done good work in the past. I will definitely make sure that none of my vehicles ever go to them again nor anyone I know for that matter for not owning up to the mishap and making it right.Good Luck to those who use these guys, when they mess something up they will do their best to claim it is not their issue and send you on your way.

Clean shop with friendly service. When all was done, the team sent an online vehicle status report which Ive never seen from anyone else. This place is family-run and takes care of their customers. Would recommend to anyone who needs a good honest opinion without being pressured into 5 more services when all you need is an oil change.

The problem wasn’t fixed, my wife was left stranded - shop didn’t even acknowledge that it was there for the same reason - second time there they charged over $300 labor for a 30min fix and $200 for a $100 part. I know they have to make money but I was hoping for a break since I was back for the exact same reason - and I still don’t know if it’s fixed. The front office was super nice and I was kept up to date on the repair — that’s why this isn’t a 1 Star review.

Dont let them charge you the bogus 60$ Diagnostics charge if you know what the exact problem is. I was looking to get a quote on a mechanical problem that requires no computer to run it through the car. My parking break assembly snap and needs replacement thats all.

Im new to Katy, so finding Mission Car Care close to our new home was a Godsend. I needed a Texas state inspection and had stopped at a competitors shop, where there was no parking, an uncooked and cramped waiting room and staff too busy to set up this simple service. I left and found Mission...night and day difference! Kevin was courteous, efficient and professional; the shop and waiting area were immaculate and reminiscent of a luxury hotel lobby; and the inspection was performed quickly and to standard. Another note: another customer had an issue with his truck and asked for a new air filter--minutes later, the service tech and Kevin showed the customer he did not need the air filter as his was near new...another indicator that this is a honest and principled shop from front to back with excellent concierge service. .

100% robbed today by MISSION CAR CARE.I brought in our 2016 nissan sentra for an Alignment. I had 2 new wheels and 4 new tires put on the car at discount tire within the last 2 weeks because I hit a large pothole and bent the driver side wheels also causing the Alignment to need readjusting. I told the lady at the front desk I need a Alignment because I hit a pothole and that I had replaced the bent wheels and tires. I asked her if the tech could see if there was any damage to the front end from the pothole I hit, she said yes. I ended up getting charged for a full diagnosis and a list of recommendations not pertaining to the frontend. Not to mention they were not able to perform the Alignment due to a bent strut. I did not ask for a diagnosis nor was I informed that I was receiving a diagnosis. Just a list of recommendations and a diag fee I didnt ask for and no Alignment performed. The car only has 40k miles. -$50 and nothing to show for. All I wanted was an Alignment and to see if there was any damage from the pothole. 《(exactly my words) MISSION FAILED!

I had to get my car towed there today after it wouldnt start. They were very helpful, explained everything, and got my car repaired quickly. I think their prices are very reasonable. They seem very knowledgeable and honest. I especially liked that they didnt try to sell me additional repairs. They also gave me a re-cap of repairs that Id need long-term.

Quick and professional. Prices on par with comparable shops. Had an oil change, state inspection and tire rotation. Will return when I need more work done.

Very nice informative group that works here. I met Kevin and Debbie at the front desk. Extremely polite. Very clean and comfortable waiting room. My engine light was on, Kevin took my car, came back in 30 minutes, and told me I had a warranty on my vehicle. This information saved me over $1100.00 (YES!!). Kevin gave me directions to the nearest Chevrolet dealer. The dealership took my car for repairs right away without charge. Long story short, my vehicle need a new Catalytic Converter, and thanks to Kevin (and Mission Car Care in Katy Texas) it was replace by the dealership for FREE!!!!! (Im Dancing right now).

Great service and honest people. 2 things you need with an auto service shop!!Update: Actual story here. Dealership said I needed to get my timing belt changed. Debbie at mission, informed me that my car had a timing chain and not a belt. When I informed the dealership of this they were stunned I knew this info. So mission saved me 500 to 700 dollars. Honesty, thats why I bring all of our vehicles to Mission Car Care!!

Debbie and Kevin are the best and always make you feel welcome. When I take my Jeep here I dont worry about getting taken for ride. I always know the job will be done correctly or they will not do it at all.

Service is excellent here. Staff is friendly and helpful, taking the time to educate you on repairs needed, options available, and essential vehicle maintenance. The wait time is almost always shorter than expected, which is never a bad thing.Last time I took my car in for an inspection (on the very last day, lol), I happened to be in the process of moving, and I was all stressed out because i couldnt find my registration letter amidst the chaos, I wasnt sure whether the sticker would be mailed to my new address if I hadnt yet changed my address, etc., etc.The lady at the front desk got online before I left, verified that I would be able to receive the new sticker at the new address, and then completed the actual registration for/with me, so that everything was complete and I wouldnt have to worry about anything else.

My state inspection was done very quickly. I enjoyed their professionalism and it felt very comfortable being there. Simply wonderful!!!!

The service is fine but theyre expensive and try to upsell and make simple car symptoms seem like huge problems. If I didnt know what I already know about cars and engines, I might believe them when they tell me about something that I should take care of immediately. Get second opinions and dont ever believe the first mechanic that you talk to folks.
