Never had any issues with any of them.Recently reached out to him on lowering my truck and he was very helpful picking out the right drop kit. Didn’t mark it up and was reasonable on the labor to install it.Would definitely recommend using them and will continue to give them my business.Before and after pics.

Call themselves prestigious yet they cant honor their lifetime warranty on tint. Its been a year and a half and my tint isnt as dark anymore. You can literally stand behind the car and see straight through. Their solution was to cover it up with another film and void the warranty altogether. No sense of logic there as they wouldnt be responsible if any bubbles appeared or fading happened again. Wont be recommending this business to anyone but Ill be sure to mention their poor way of handling this situation.

The staff and the owner are great. If you need window tint or lift kits I highly recommend this place. The owner is a great guy and very knowledgeable. Worst experience ever, came in to order some parts wasnt sure what the price was coming in, I was told 70$ I drove 30 Minutes to get there found out the price drove home 30 minutes to get the money and when I show up, The system had changed so now they wanted to charge me 95$ plus taxes for the item I was buying, I would not recommend to do business with them. They made me waste my time an hour and a half and my gas which isnt cheap on a 2000s model. Will NEVER COME BACK DO NOT COME HERE. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF

I called them and was told over the phone that they could fix my car. I explained that my factory alarm was causing my car not to start. They told me they had someone that could fix it or bypass the alarm so I had it towed to there shop. It was there 4 day and they didn’t even call me to give me a update on my car. Then when I called they said “didn’t somebody call you” I said no and they said somebody will call u in a hour and I waited 3 hours and called back then was told they had been working on it for 3 or 4 hour and couldn’t fix the problem so I could come get it so when I got there my car was in the same spot just like I parked it and it looked like nobody had even opened up the door and I was so upset then they charged me $50 and I had to get it towed back home I wouldn’t suggest this place to nobody thanks for nothing and a parking fee of $50 will never use there services for anything

The part I ordered did not work properly after many tries it never worked. Joe the owner never gave me nothing but great customer service. I would not hesitate to bring my truck back here or recommend any friend or family to come here.

Took my car here for full tint on 2013 Mustang. They explained the various options and told me about the waiting time. My car was done on-time and the workmanship was excellent. Im very picky about my car, and I was impressed how careful they were in doing the job. Highly recommended and would use them again.

Great place! They started in the shack in the back that still stands. Then they grew to be able to take over the e entire lot. Return customers and strait shooting is alive and well here! They are family owned and operated. Its not uncommon to see the grandbabies hanging out in the bassinet either. Theory know their stuff and took get care of my BMW tint issue for a decent price as well.Theyre good people in my book! I will return with any cosmetic issues on my cars...it even trust them with my 68 Mustang fastback! Thats high praise!

I went to Kool Karz to get tint for my car (front passenger and UV for front windshield), and am very satisfied. I arrived shortly before they opened, with only two people ahead of me. The staff was friendly, personable, and I love the family vibes I noticed in the time I was there. The service could take up to 4 hours so Id suggest finding a ride home/back, or bring something to keep you entertained.

I have been coming to this place for almost 2 years now. The staff is like family, and the quality is pretty much perfection (provided you dont try to cheep youre way through it) I have a Vision X set up on my truck and they helped me find everything I needed with a smile and laugh. I was recently given a car that needed some window tint badly. Many of my friends have gone here before and theyve always had excellent experiences so it was my turn. This place is very easy to find but their office is in a remodeling stage. I was greeted and told the prices, i was expecting to need an appointment but they got me in at 400 and I picked up my car at 545. The window tint makes a world of difference, I paid 133$ once it was all said and done. They have a 5% military discount and a 10% cash discount. My car looks so much better and they did a wonderful job, like always.

Worst people to do business with er I had a rough start the first time the did an install on the truck, I let them try again only to install it horribly and say they couldnt make it right and come pick it up. Please please please dont use these people, they are terrible at customer relations to. Had to have cops escort me to get my truck .

Walked in to having the girl, talking about something petty on the phone to a friend. I had to stand there for 2 mins before finally, without putting the phone down, Hang on turning to me what do you need?They only do one car at a time, so if there is a line they will tell you to drop off or come back later. I went and found better price and service at a different place.I would of been fine with the wait, if she showed more customer service.

These guys have my truck full package. Lift, backup camera, programmer, ranch hand, tires, rims, tint. Was everything perfect? As with any business there was minor problems here and there but they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Fixed any issue that came up without conflict. Did a great job. I give 5 stars because I left here without any problems and get so many compliments on how awesome my truck looks.

Read this before you go in there expecting perfection... Got a new 2013 ram. It needed an eyebrow done. Called the guy who did my 2008 Ram, out of the country. Had a few negative experiences with this place in the past, but I figured, how could they mess up an eye brow job. So I took it over there. Stupid move. Their interpretation of Texas law is all wrong. The tint stopped 1.5 inches above the AS-1 line and the bottom was all wavy. It looked HORRIBLE! So I went in and told her about it. She said it was the law that the tint stops at the AS-1 line or 5.5 (measured from the outside top of the windshield down), whichever is higher, and thats how they do it. So I went home and looked up the law on the Texas DPS site. It clearly states...(1) Windshields.(A) The AS-1 area is the portion of the windshield based on driver seating configuration where the driver must have forward visibility.(B) The windshield may also have a glazing shade band for driver comfort. This shading band is generally above the AS-1 area.(C) An AS-1 line indicator, if present, denotes the boundary of the AS-1 area and the shading band. If the AS-1 line indicator is not present, generally, the shade band should not extend further than approximately five inches from the top of the windshield.I called back, read her the rule, she got rude and finally said to just bring it back and theyd tint it down to the line.You know what, with that kind of attitude, they win. I will swallow the 30 bucks and take it someone else while I still have a little pride left. Never again!

Stopped by here to inquire about upgrading the integrated radio in my F150. Also looked into getting replacement seals for my BackFlip F1 bed cover. Joe wasnt in, will have to come back on another no-rain day. Seals are not stocked, though when did call around to see if anybody else local had them. No, unfortunately. Asked if I could perhaps buy a piece of dark tinting or if any scraps laying around. I had a project I wanted to try. She did give me a couple yards (best guess) still rolled on the tube. Thank you!Just have to wait for a dry day to go and talk to Joe, perhaps upgrade the bed cover as well.

I used Frank at Kool Karz in June 2010. He sprayed the interior of my 4X4 with bedliner and it came out great! He did exactly what he said he would. The car was ready on time and he took care of me. I will use him again.

They wont a low for appointment times for tints. I was there at 9am as they open. They say sorry we are swamped with 9 vehicles that just got dropped off. No one else was there. Its was a car dealership that they cared more for. Worst service.

Tint job was ok, but price was deceptiveI was told 99.00 for tint but when I arrived for my appointment it went up 30 bucks and he said it was because the girl that quoted the price was new and didnt know.And when I picked up my truck the price went up to 140.00 because I paid with a debit card.Steer clear from this place

Did a great job on my tint!

I had a damaged tint film on the passenger-side door window and went to Kool Karz to get it replaced. When they finished with my car, I noticed the replaced film was a different color, not just a different shade, but a different color. Joe tried to give me this song and dance about how the drivers side had faded with age (it was 2 months old). He didnt offer to make it right. I informed him that I didnt like the job and asked him how much to replace the drivers side tint so that it matched the passenger side. He offered to do it for $35.00 (keep in mind that at that point I was a captive customer). I had already paid him $45.00 for the other side, so he is giving me a $10.00 break when his guy screwed up? I guess Ill eat the $45.00 and go someplace else where they conduct business a little more professionally. I would urge you to look at other reviews on this site regarding their window tinting service. I regret not having read the reviews myself before I had the service performed.

Dropped car off at 9 when they opened. They said there was 2 cars ahead but by 11 they will start the tinting. Was told would take a hour and a half. Called at 1230 they said they were about to start. Showed up at 1 and car still has not moved. Went in they were sitting around doing nothing asked about vehicle they said was next 4 and a half later. They skipped my vehicle for others then cursed at me and told me to get off there property. Shut them down.

Brought my car in at 9am. If you want to get your car done quick you need to get there right at 9 or even 8:45. They open at 9. I showed up at 8:50 and was 2nd in line with 5 behind me. Told them the tint I wanted and left. Got a call at 10:20 saying my car was done. Tint looks good, a couple of small bubble areas but that takes time to dry. Couple of black grease marks on the leather and outside of car but they cleaned off nicely. This is my 2nd vehicle tinted by Kool cars. Would not hesitate to go again.

I have mixed feelings, but do not trust this shop. I have two vehicles tinted here. One vehicle is still holding up. The other vehicles tint started to bubble. Knowing this is a manufactures issue on the actual tint I took it back to have the rear window done again. Kool Kars refused saying their computer crashed so they couldnt verify the tinting and get their money back from the manufacture! Not my problem...who else put their logo under the tint on the side windows. Their business integrity is questionable.I donated the car, but I am looking to get another vehicle done. Wont take another one there.

We took our car our car here in 2011 and the tint is holding up great.

I dont write reviews often, but I wanted to give a shout out to this place. When I first found them, I was instantly pleased with the staffs friendly personality and I had the privilege to meet the owner Frank. He was very honest and genuine right away and I felt like I was in good hands. I brought my truck in for some upgrades, which included a 2 leveling kit, a spray in bed liner, and a toolbox. They did the work EXTREMELY fast and the quality of the bed liner surpassed my expectations. They even took a large dent out of truck bed before putting the bed liner on, just as a courtesy because they had the tools. In fact, I actually needed a front hub replaced on my trucks passenger side and a mechanic onsite did the repair simultaneously while the 2 leveling kit was being assembled. This place can do just about anything.A few months later, I had a Ford dealership to replace the other side and they charged way more for labor than Kool Karz did. It turns out that I actually had hub failure on BOTH sides after driving 35,000 miles and Ford said they were faulty hubs, even though they were OEM. Ford warranted their side for labor and parts and Kool Karz did the same even though I was in Austin, 2 hours away. I called and spoke to the owner Frank and he went the distance to make sure that the Ford dealership in Katy TX contacted the Ford in Austin TX to warranty the parts they had installed. This is what good service looks like.Because of that experience, I will continue to use Kool Karz for tires, toolboxes, lift kits, and vehicle audio.

Took our Jeep in 2 weeks ago to get a brow tint put on it. Kool Karz put it on crooked. Went back in today to get it fixed. They dont have time to do it. (They are booked) They want us to take off work during the week to bring it in. They dont take appointments. (But they are booked for the day) Even though this was THEIR ERROR. We just have to keep going up there so they can tell us sorry cant get to it today. Basically they told us we already got your money too bad for you
