This company has a good salesman but horrible techs apparently. I found out a lot of the bolts to my lift kit were not tightened down. 1 of 3 bolts were tight the other 2 were not even tightened down. I kept feeling a lot bouncing in the wheel at the beginning I thought it was just the break in period on the suspension but after noticing while washing the truck apparently that’s not the case. I was wondering why a brand new truck had so much vibration while driving. This is just not right.

Extreme Offroad & Performance is awesome and has earned my long term business. I had a bed cover installed on my Tundra and they offered a great price, installed, in a short time. When I had an issue with one of the support arms later (which wasn’t their fault at all), they fixed it no questions asked and no charge! Most recently I took my truck in for a brake issue. Adrian researched it and found the best solution, which was actually something at no cost to me! So rather than selling me something I didn’t need, they did the right thing. That’s the way to earn loyalty! They take care of their customers. Great place with very knowledgeable people - I highly recommend.

The guys at Xtreme did a wonderful job installing my powered retract bed cover. They were able to get it installed in under two hours which allow me to get on the road for the opening day of dove season. Thank you guys for your professionalism and hard work

My 2018 f150 had a bad shock absorber. I decided to have Bilstein 5100 selectable height shocks put in and set to 1.5 inches. Tires are up from 32 stock to 33. Price was reasonable compared to using stock shocks. Shop was quick and would have been done in a day except I think a Ram was hogging the alignment rack 😁. Before and after pics. So far the ride is no different than stock as the springs are factory.

I guess I forget this place has the ...& Perfirmance in their name. They helped me with my Stage 2 Tuned BMW and did it on last minute notice. It was a car emergency and they took care of me like I was a regular customer. It was amazing cause I had other shops turn me away prior to going to them. Everyone was busy, or wasnt open, or didnt have time blah blah. It was a 20 min fix and they not only priced it well but went above and beyond a simple repair. I definitely recommend. 10/10. He specifically told me it would take to long...Who would spend X amount of money without knowing exactly what the cost reflects.-Parts-Descriptions-Installation-Bill ratesExtremely unprofessional, incompetent and LAZY!!!!Not the way to run a business

If you want quality work then take it to Extreme. I researched everywhere, talked to friends, and read reviews before I decided to drop over $7000 into my truck. I knew there would be a wait to get in but when you spend that kind of money Id assume you want the best. I was treated like a customer from beginning to end. Darrell was very informative, he never pushed any certain brand on me at any time, I chose what I wanted, they scheduled my day and I dropped of the truck next week. I was amazed and very satisfied with the way my truck looked and drove. I was so impressed with the work that I spent another $1500 the next week on accessories. Austin was very helpful and knowledgeable and he answered any questions i had no matter how many you ask!! Bottom line... If you want quality work then Extreme is the place to take your vehicle. Theyll be handling my trucks from now on.

I purchased a lift when I purchased my 2019 GMC 2500HD. The dealership used Extreme to install the lift. 1 year later the truck squeaks like crazy. I took it back to Extreme to inspect it. They have me 2 quotes...1 necessary, 1 recommended... adding up to over $3300. Basically replacing the entire lift plus some. It didnt make sense to me so I left and took it to another offroad shop with great reviews. They inspected it and said all that was wrong was a failed bushing in 1 upper control arm. On top of that they told me not to buy one but call the manufacturer. This is a malfunction and must likely they would replace it for free. I called and they immediately sent me a new set. So instead of being taken advantage of and spending $3300, I only have to pay for the labor of replacing just the control arms. Absolutely pathetic and unethical!Update: In response, the point is that 1. you quoted me for parts that according to 2 other highly rated establishments said did not need to be replaced and 2. quoted me for parts that have a lifetime mfg warranty (as long as with the first owner) and i did not need to pay for. The Manufacturer of the upper control arms sent me a replacement set free of charge. You were going to charge me over $500 just for the set. The bottom line is you were completely dishonest about what needed to be done.

I brought my 2015 F150 King Ranch in for a Stage 5 Icon suspension kit and was quoted a cheaper price on parts than I could find and labor wasn’t extremely high compared to other aftermarket shops that do similar work in the area. The truck was finished earlier than expected with zero issues and about to go in for the final re-alogmrnt after the road break in period.The guys were professional and they had an extremely clean shop. The kind of expertise and quality the team provides can be expected from a shop that has done several incredible SEMA builds. The main entry is covered floor to ceiling in examples of what services and products they offer including a beautifully wrapped car in the middle of the room. All in all an a very cool shop and you’re lucky if you can get a tour.

I took them a high end sports car to customize and they had the product knowledge and install experience I was looking for to get the job done the right way!!! Just picked up my 2016 f150 from them two days ago and i am more than impressed. I had them install a sound system, lift kit, tires, rims, weather tech floor mats, and leather seats. They did it all within 1.5 weeks. I was very pleased with their customer service and the outcome of their work on my truck. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to get anything done to their vehicle. Have been doing business with Extreme (Austin and Jordan) since 2013. They installed a suspension level kit initially on my 2012 Tundra with new allignment and it made all the difference in the world in how my truck rode. Very good equipment and excellent service. Got approximately 85,000 mile out of that kit (normal life expectancy of no more than 80,000) and had them replace with same suspension, realign, and rotate and balance wheels and tires. Had a minor issue with one of the rear shocks at about 3,000 miles (leaking seal) and Extreme replaced that shock no questions asked.The technician that performed the alignment and balance job with my second set of suspension, Adam, is undoubtedly the BEST tire balancer in the Metro Houston/Katy area in my experience and I have tried a lot of them. I am very picky about the balance of my tires and he is great at it. I have my tires rotated and rebalanced every 6,000 miles and Extreme Offroad (Adam) is who I trust to get the work done right. Just had the tires rotated and balanced for the third time since the second set of suspension installed and as expected, excellent service and a perfectly smooth ride at a very reasonable price. Strongly recommend these guys.BTW, if you havent been to their new store/shop located at I-10 and Fry Rd., I strongly recommend going by. Very professional shop and store front.

Great shop with a great quality of work. These guys really know what they are doing. I am a firm believer of paying for what you get and the quality and attention to detail is definitely there. No corners cut. I had them build me a Jeep and put around 10k into it and it’s everything I wanted and much more!

Unfortunately the customer service is sub par, and you notice this as you ask simple questions that may trigger the employees.Update Feb: I received a call from one of the staff members apologizing for the way I was treated the last time I went. He was respectful and understanding, which warrants another visit. I will be coming back soon for my brothers Jeep and will update this review then!

AVOID this place! I took my truck there several months ago for them to install a simple level kit. They forgot to install the coil spacer and when I brought it to their attention the gentleman explained to me that they couldnt do it because they didnt have the proper equipment and if they tried, there would be a safety issue. I understood the safety issue, but did not understand why his guys went ahead and installed the level spacer anyway without the coil spacer. So either his guys dont fully understand how to do the job correctly or they just didnt want to do it.

Wanted a place to help me with some performance work on my new Corvette. These guys really got me what I wanted and more for a great price and did amazing work. Their quality is second to none. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to customize their car!

I had a screw come off my light bar. I went to Extreme Offroad in Katy, TX and they were very quick to replace it, and only charged me $20 for the screw and the manual labor to replace the screw. Two months later, the screw fell out. They said they had good news and bad. The bad news is the inside of the light bar was stripped and they wouldnt be able to put another screw in place, but for $450 and $75 installation they would gladly give me a new light bar! Gee thanks! I said no, and that I would just leave and take the light bar off when I got home (knowing good and well my friends over at Allout Offroad Performance would be able to get the light-bar bolted on securely even if Extreme Offroad couldnt. After I said no, he said, well Im charging you $37 dollars for the labor anyway so well take it off for you. I said ok. They didnt just take it off... THEY CUT THE WIRING to take it off, so the light-bar is now useless and now I have no choice but to buy a new one!!!! You owe me a new lightbar Extreme Offroad!!!

By far the best shop in the Houston Area . I had my truck for 5 years and put over 60k miles on the lift and never had an issue. Austin spent countless hours working with me to make my truck exactly how I wanted it. I mean their work speaks for itself, if you dont believe me than just swing on by and check it out for yourself, I promise you wont be disappointed. On my most recent build, I had an issue with the wheels (after an extended period); Extreme exceeded my expectations while resolving my issue. The issue had nothing to do with Extreme, it was the manufacturer but the guys at Extreme were diligent and were able get everything taken care of. These guys no only stand by their work, they stand by the products they sell.Great Job!

I dont ever write reviews, but this one deserves some time. Went there the first time to find out about lifting my vehicle and installing a bumper. Got there about 30 mins before closing time and the guy (Adrian) that helped me seemed nice but made it a point that they were about to close. He said he was going to email me the info. A week later, no email, so I called. Spoke to another guy that said Adrian was out but he was gonna ask him to get back with me... another week goes by and I call and the guy tells me that Adrian is with a customer and that he will tell him to call me. Another week goes by and I call and get the same response. At this point I told the guy the whole story of how long I have been waiting for the info and how disappointed I was. He tells me that I had never called because he is the only one that answers the phone! I asked him: are you calling me a liar? so he said lets start over and I agreed. He promised that Adrian was going to call me back, and he did. We went over what I wanted in the quote again and next day I had an email with just the picture of the bumper, no pricing or quotes nor options as we discussed. I emailed him back asking him for the rest of the stuff and no answer... another week goes by and today I decide to call the store and speak with the manager to give feedback, I was extremely polite. This guy Darrell says he is the manager and I tell him that I have feedback so they can improve... He tells me that it is a bad time and that he does not have time at the moment and he pretty much hung up on me... I was honestly at a loss of words... I dont recall ever being treated so poorly by any store or shop ever. Sad to see a business like this operating and treating people like this. Could not even give them one star but the system would not let me post until I gave it at least one star.UPDATE: After this review, I received a call from Mr. Darrell and he communicated there was a big misunderstanding as he thought I was a telemarketer trying to sell him on ideas to improve his business. He was very sincere and I appreciated his apology. I received a quote by email right away but I honestly was not in the mood to do business with them due to the lack of initial response when trying to get a quote.

This guys are amazing, always ready to help and provide a good advise, they really know what they are donning and the real meaning of customer satisfaction.

I had a great experience with Extreme. I worked with Adrian, who didnt push me to make unnecessary purchases, and exceeded the timeline that was set. I was very happy with the install of my 4 inch ReadyLift and wheels on my 2019 Silverado. I also had them powder coat my brake calipers and install AMP PowerSteps, and am very happy with their work. I will do business with Extreme again.

By far one of the nicest off-road shops I been to great exterior and better waiting area. They met my expectations with polite staff and a quick turn around on my truck.

Walk in to ask if they sell spacers. Simple question any one of the staff walking in and out could’ve answered. There were 6 guys to one customer (me) and nobody says a word to me after a few minutes... so I counted “1-2-3-4-5-6 staff to 1 customer.. alright I’ll go somewhere else” kindly walk out and some JoeSmo walks out cursing me trying to fight me in their parking lot. I was parking in O’Reilly’s next to their store in Katy and this guy was literally walking towards my vehicle threatening me. I kindly said you’ll get more business but it’s not going to be me. It was a clown act on their part. First review I’ve ever written by the way. This needed to be out there.

I would recommend taking your vehicle to Extreme Offroad, they know how to care of their customers. They not only followed up with me throughout the process, but the end product was amazing. They painted my rims and rear bumper on my 2015 Camaro and it looks amazing.

Can not follow simple request. All i asked is for them to lift my truck, put a specific rim, and what ever tire fits that would not rub . They let me drive off the lot, after spending 6K with new 425.00 tires rubbing . After further review found a bolt head that had broken off . Instead of repairing it properly secured the bracket with a zip tie. Totally unprofessional . When i brought it in to bring to the owners attention, he stated that they were cheap foreign bolts. Totally skipped, the reasoning as to why his tech would simply put a zip tie . But said all that to say this . Be cautious, and have some one do a look over after they finish with your vehicle . Like i said, they do a lot of nice work. Maybe you have to spend more that 6k, i dont know . In my case its obvious they didnt care

I read the reviews on google and facebook, good and bad. I walked in to have them install a 60 in light bar on the roof. After they were done, I asked them about a few things and they explained everything patiently. It looks great and works great. Thanks guys

Ive had several things done at extreme, they are very professional and take the time to get it right every time. This is not a place where the customer is just another number. To top it off, they only use the finest quality parts and equipment. The pricing is very competetive, Extreme Offroad is Number 1 for a reason, they care and it shows.

Called ahead to order tires and leveling kit and truck was done the same day as drop off. Fast and professional service. Will return and would recommend.

Was referred to Jonathan to install full audio, laser and radar detector and Owl camera alomd with a few other items for my Ferrari F12. I have to say its one of the cleanest installs and very satisfied with the cleanliness of the shop and knowledge of the staff. Dropped off my 911TT for some work and expect the same results when I pick it up.

I went in to talk about underbody protection for my new-to-me 2011 Wrangler Rubicon which I will be taking and leaving for use in Durango, Colorado. The dude behind the counter did not know whether they were available - had to look it up - or why they are needed. Not many rocks in the Houston area, but I got out of there with no useful info other than we can install whatever you decide. They should have known something about skid plates for a Wrangler! Not doing business there.

The quality of the merchandise that Extreme Offroad sells is excellent while on the other hand their service is horrible. I went in on Monday to have a 3 lift installed on my truck, they told me it would take a couple days because the piece had to be delivered. I also had purchased new shocks and Extreme said they would install them for me. After not hearing from anyone at Extreme Offroad for several days, I decided to call them on Thursday. They then told me that the piece had not yet been delivered due to a Hurricane Sandy delay, and to call back around 3PM on Friday. So on Friday, I called Extreme and they told me that yes my piece had arrived, and to bring my truck in on Saturday morning to get it installed. On Saturday morning I arrived at Extreme and they began the installation process, about an hour into the job they mentioned that my ball joint was loose and they were going to charge me an additional $450 to replace it. Being a mechanic a decided to just take my truck home and install the new ball joint myself. By the time I got back to the shop they were already closed but they said they could keep my truck there and work on it first thing Monday morning, and that the lift would be finished by 4PM. On Monday I had work at 5PM to which I had to call and tell my manager that I had no vehicle, and would be coming in a late. My truck wasnt finished till almost 6PM on Monday night, and it took them about 2 hours just to do my alignment. When everything was finished the serviceman came up to me and said, Hey you need some new shocks on that truck. To which I replied, I gave yall the new shocks I purchased, and you said you would install them. The owner of Extreme Offroad then wanted to charge me an additional $20 to install my shocks because he has to pay his men after his men made the mistake of not installing them. I would not recommend anyone taking their truck to Extreme Offroad, they are a bunch of ripoffs and try to pinch you for everything and anything!!

I was not going to write a review against Austin/Mike at Extreme offload because i do not want them touching my truck again but after i posted a review this morning through the BBB the owner/son Austin at Extreme gave me a call and when i answered the phone he immediately asked for my address saying his lawyer was going to send me letter, i responded with have your lawyer figure it out and then we started screaming and calling me all sorts of unpleasant names so i hung up right away. then right away he tried calling me back two more times one right after the next when i did not answer. I want to tell my story so hopefully others will read this and decide to do business else where with a company that truly specializes in aftermarket accessories. My full experience can and will be found under the BBB website, but the majority of my problems is that they installed parts to my f250 2016 like a titan tank that they did not know how to install and my truck stalled out multiple times in the middle of the high because of it, they also sold me parts that would not work together with the tank but decided to charge me for them and leave them on anyways. they also had to remove things like my fass fuel system from the truck even though they installed it and it was there before the purchase of the tank they said it would not work together and they cant refund the tank even after all the trouble i had! Also they sold me color matched iron cross bumpers and said they would take forever to get rock chips, except in less then 5 days it was peppered and then they had to sell me a clear wrap for $750. they also installed stock fuel filters for $200 bucks when that is more than a ford dealership charges and the filter is only $30. My first purchase with the tank, ampsteps, and custom grill/emblems was $12k and with all the problems i had i wish i would have done my business anywhere else. They tried fixing my viper alarm system 6 times to stop it from going off and could not they said it would cost $599 to replace the brain cpu and that would be the only way, well after i was done letting them try i took it else where and a guy fixed that and three other problems on the truck Extreme could not for only $40. Do yourself and stay as far away from this company who is just a pretty face with nothing under the hood.-revised to upload my paid invoices to show i was a customer and my complaints are valid
