My car has been at this shop 3 different times since april 2021 & still is not fixed. kim’s exact words to me were “you can’t go chasing that check engine light” & “i can’t fix everything”. i have paid him over $700 each time being told the car is fixed & the same problems occur over & over.

Mr. Kim and his crew are awesome! What took me 2 weeks to fail at took them 2 hours to fix. On top of that, way more affordable than the dealership. Recommended to anyone with VW car issues.

Kim is awesome and always so helpful anytime I have a question or concern. He is like that with everyone that calls or stops in. Highly recommend his shop.

Although the shop is to the brim with repairs, Kim and his staff were able to get my alternator replaced in one day. No nonsense, honest, and professional.

I was really impressed with these folks. My BMW had a check engine light come on and they got me right in to read the code. Quoted me the suspected repair costs and overall just very friendly and helpful. I would do business with in the future.

I have bought hard-to-get parts that you could only get from a dealership at this place. I dont know if he still offers this service, but if you are a DIYer, this place is invaluable.

It was a terrible experience. Was told a ridiculous amount to just look at my car and when I went to pick it up my motor was taken apart and not put back like it was when I dropped it off ( which by the way my car was drivable when I dropped it off) very dishonest. Will not recommend to anyone. I hate I had to give it one star to even post this review

Kim was so good to us! We were 5 hours from home visiting family for Christmas when we started having car trouble. Kim didn’t hesitate to get our car in without notice since he knew we had to get back home. The best part of this auto shop is that there was not even the slightest hint of dishonesty. Got my 2002 VW New Beetle used for a bit over 4k from this used car dealership a bit past the speedway and it worked great for about 4 months then I had to get the radiator and hoses replaced by Kim at German imports because my car before I got it, was in an accident and nobody told us when we got it. Something was rubbing against the hose and eventually wore a hole in the hose leaking antifreeze and damaging my radiator.Tried getting the guy where I got it from to pay for some or all of the repairs because he gave his guarantee that everything was fine when it wasnt. I dont even think he took a look at it because he owns a garage too, so I took into German imports and Kim was very nice and flexible with the problems I had. I just dropped it off today to get my air fixed because it only blows cold air in when in motion, if stopped at a light or sitting idle it blows warm/hot air.Would definitely recommend since he specializes in German cars!

Currently not a fan, started off great they are very helpful great customer service I understand they could not find an engine code that match my car they did not charge me I respect that on the flipside they told me I need an engine without even taking off the head. That should’ve been my first doubt.... Finally decided to repair the car myself got the car back I am missing parts, fuel rail was taken off incorrectly damaged all of my fuel injectors And my engine was left exposed To the elements it’s hard enough to find another short block from somewhere else have a head remanufactured but to start trying to piece together parts that I’ve been out in the weather and also replacing parts that were damaged by mechanics or lost adds up to a bigger than necessary cost I based my initial assessment of what I thought I needed to replace and it seems like every time I turn around I’m adding a new expense by something that happened at that shop. I would not recommend it to anyone. Took weeks to get things moving on my car and it seems to take a long time to get response on any type of answers usually I have to contact them they’re not good about calling youEdit... just got a call from the shop to “do not start anything with him “ I’m just sharing my experience I want nothing more than everybody to know. Do I agree with him . Yes Everything in the car should be replaced, the car ran hot with no notification on the dash that it did so. I understand that I agreed and I gave him the opportunity to repair it and he could not do it per the engine code and locating an engine I understand and respect that ... So now I’m doing what I need to do to try to get my finance vehicle back on the road. After not having it for six weeks. We agree to disagree

This is the best place to take BMWs they are more experienced than anyone working at a dealership .. decades of experience working on foreugf vehicles and very nice and helpful...anyone who writes a bad review on these people has to be mentally deranged..😁

These guys are either stupid or do not understand the ABCs of business! I called twice to ask about their price and got extremely surprising answers! First, I called about the price of replacing a fuel filter on a Mercedes. Their answer was a question to me: What price did you get? This is a totally stupid answer! I am asking for their price, they want to know what price I got!!!! When I told hims this is not an answer to my question, he told the: then I do not want to work on your car!!!The second time I called, I asked about their price for service-A on a Mercedes, their answer was: we do not know, it depends, but minimum $150!! Service-A is a well known service and it cost $170 (with a coupon) at Northlake Mercedes dealership! Their behavior is a typical of rip-off mechanics who capitalize on the ignorance of their good customers. Avoid them at any cost unless they give you a solid written offer with no ifs and buts...

The owner kim is a very down to earth person super helpful gives great advice and he knows what hes doing.

Never take your car here. Took mine for a timing chain replacement ( I know timing chains are a lifetime part but if you are changing the tensioners you might as well change the chain to as it only cost $50 and you are right there). He held on to my car for over 1 month and charged me MORE than what the dealer quoted me. They could have done it in 2 days. On top of that he did not even change the chain as I asked him to he just replaced the tensioners. He will rip you off and I dont think he knows what the hell he is doing on newer cars. My car is 10 years old.

Called several times to get information on work to an Audi, was put for several days. All I needed was some details and maybe a high level estimate of the work and how things work since I was a first timer but the owner was very unfriendly and refused to give any details. This is not the kind of place I want to take my car, it is worse than a dealership. Will never take my Audi S8 to these people!

Attempted to repair an automatic transmission on a 1998 230 SLK Mercedes that would not shift properly. Stated fluid may have damaged wiring harness. Cleaned and added a can of conditioner. The cost was about $500.00. Told me they called Mercedes and was advised the transmission would need to be rebuilt. There was no change in operation of transmission. I took the car to another mechanic who immediately told me what the problem was and replaced a kit in transmission.-Moral-do not depend on these people to repair transmission maybe they are ok on other issues.
