The review by Adam Taylor is ridiculous. I’m a regular customer and watched his outrageous behavior here on multiple occasions. He orders items, consumes them, then complains and demands a refund. He loudly calls his bank on the phone and asks them to do an investigation of the charge. Since I heard his name out loud as he was on the phone, I decided to check him out and found that he has left similar negative reviews for other establishments and threatened them with investigations. He’s trying to be macho, and I think he’s figured out how to get free stuff this way.The River Coffee Company is extremely professional, and their staff are among the most friendly I’ve ever experienced. They work hard to make things right. It’s my favorite coffee shop in the area, and I come here multiple times a week.As for his claims about the church that also meets at the building on Sundays (when the coffee shop is closed), I have never ONCE heard the baristas here push religion on anyone or talk about the church. This is a coffee shop that is as legit as Starbucks, City Brew, or Montana Coffee Traders. They were just voted runner up for Best of the Flathead.

The other day a group of friends and I decided to give the River Coffee Company a try for our weekly hang out. Man am I glad we did! I didnt realize this awesome shop existed until I saw their billboard sign pointing the way. When you first roll up to River C C you notice the big sign and the welcoming esthetics of the place. For me it is attached with some nostalgia, because when I was a kid this building housed the local movie cinema. :) As you walk in your realize right away that the place is COMFORTABLE. There are many comfy chairs place all throughout the vast seating area. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And now to the reason I came in... the coffee. I ordered your standard mocha latte and they nailed it. The coffee was delicious. Among my group we had fraps, non fat iced mocha, tea, and the gambit! All were done quickly and tasted delicious. Or so said my friends. They have a little room that small parties can enter to have some privacy and we really appreciated it! There are many coffee shops in Kalispell but this is by far my favorite. The hours are from 5pm to 11pm, which stinks if you want morning coffee, BUT they are the only gig in town that is open that late. Many in my party celebrated this fact and said they would frequent River Coffee Company often. Thanks to the staff for giving us a fun, comfortable and CLEAN experience with delicious coffee.

This is a fantastic place to hang out and grab a coffee. I appreciate the feel of the atmosphere theyve created. You can plug in your laptop pretty much anywhere in this coffeeshop because there are outlets and USB charging ports at nearly every seat. I can sit here for hours and hours to read or get work done. And they are open much later. Dont miss this place!

Amazing spot. Its only open Fridays and Saturdays, but I was so happy to find a good café open until 11pm! The staff were warm and friendly, and the chai tea was marvelous. Lots of seating, very cute spot to meet and chat with friends. Fast wifi. An easy place to relax and unwind... It used to be an old movie theater but was converted. The barista, Janelle, was so, so, so kind to me! Wish I wasnt just visiting town for a short while, otherwise Id love to come here to chill and do work on my laptop!

The River Coffee Company is a great place to get work done late with caffeine and free WiFi. I was impressed with their quality espresso that tasted delicious AND that’s roasted locally in Bigfork. They are open Mon-Sat, 5pm-11pm and Im so excited we actually have a place in Kalispell open later than 2pm. Classy and cozy atmosphere (including a waterfall) that makes it easy to focus!

Some of the baristas were amazing and the drinks/food were great, but let me fore warn you. This coffee shop and more importantly church attached has a major clickish attitude and if they deem you not worth their time, they will treat you as the dirt of the earth and contempt. I tipped most times on everything, and I will tell you I am a Pentecostal Pastor from Denver as well. And thats why I am relaying this to the staff and more importantly the owner. And for that very reason, while we have been in town, I will not go to church here. As I am writing this, I am at the River right now and the way I was treated by the barista tonight was appaling and it needs correction. Even in Denver, I have not encountered this.

Amazing place to chill! Aesthetically pleasing and open till late 6 days a week. The coffee is great and the staff is super chill! Ask for Janelle:) 100/10 would recommend.

I LOVE THEIR COFFEE! This place is open late to satisfy you even till 11 pm! Was visiting Kalispell and everyone else was closed except them and the coffee is amazing and not too sweet, just like I like it! Definitely deserves a try!❤❤☕☕

The atmosphere was cozy which was great to walk into after a cold day. The coffee was great. 100% recommend.Would definitely like to come back if I’m in town.

This is the ultamite chill spot. The server is super nice, the tables and couches comfy and the prices are very affordable and the drinks taste wonderful. If you’re looking for a café to hang out with friends or study, then you NEED to come here.

Our family loves to invite friends and play board games. It makes me think of the tv show Cheers but with coffee. Obviously a little late for caffeine for many of us but they serve up a mean decaf espresso and Kalispell Creamery ice cream too! A place where acquaintances become friends for life I think and a place where family’s, friends, and loners will be quite comfortable.

They are a Fantastic Coffee Shop with amazing Coffee girls that will take the extra step to make the Coffee you want, With awesome hours open from 5pm to 11pm Their tucked back in just off of Hwy 2 or Idaho, Look for the Big Gateway West Mall sign turn in there and they are right there on the left with plenty of room to pull in with a Pick-up towing a Camper or any OTR Tractor-Trailer Semi with tons of Parking and plenty of room to swing a U-turn and be back on the road fantastic for anyone working late and wanting a Great cup of Coffee to help keep you going through the Night A+++++

Love this coffee shop and the workers and I love their hours!! The only complaint I have is that the music is played so loud so its hard to concentrate studying but I just bring ear buds :)

Never been yet walk past a few times but never gone in there.... but some time i trie it..... up date .... try coffee and like it .... lady very nice .... treat you like friend leave feel like family....

The river coffee company is an extension of the River Church so they have somewhat Limited hours but still serve up a great cup of coffee the people there are friendly and helpful and its a great atmosphere
