I had a 2019 Crosstrek that I was very happy with but I had a very high interest rate. The same salesman that helped me with that car (Austin Reed) approached me about new rates and helped me get into a 2021 model with a package upgrade. I’m paying much less now with a newer model than I was with my older model and I love the car. I highly recommend working with Austin. He also worked with me on my preferred color and had the dealership pick the car up from far away and bring it to the dealership. I’m super happy with the service I received.

The car that Wallace Imports @WallaceImportsJohnsonCity had for 6 1/2 months lasted less than 24 hours before it quit again. We were even told oh you could drive it to California it just runs rough when you get under 2000 rpms. I call BS on that and now 2 people on a fixed income are paying them a fortune for fixing a car that was never really fixed. I hate to rant but we must have had SUCKER tattooed on our foreheads when we left there yesterday. A person needs a car especially in rural areas. Also they were told to call us to keep us updated on the costs and they never did!

People not doing business there to hurt the owner, will only hurt the other people who work there in return. The employees that work there all have to make a living for their families as well. You people who are leaving bad reviews should be ashamed of yourselves and your cancel culture.

There are a lot of good salespeople out there changing the stigma of the industry and then there are dealerships like Wallace that re-affirm that stigma. Most is the 5-star reviews they have are probably for employees that were making a difference that are no longer there. Any company that FIRES a 16 year loyal employee in this business during theses COVID obstacles of helping people does not care about anything but their money. They do not deserve your business. 20 days before Christmas and they fired a guy for getting a part time non-automotive industry related side job.

Mike Chambers was a very nice, no pressure representative who took the time to personally investigate my simple concerns regarding the vehicle before I made the drive to Johnson City. He promised a quick process, ( no spending 2-4 hours haggling) and he delivered. Thumbs up to the entire staff for helping me drive home with the vehicle I wanted. Now it belongs to my wife.

John the salesman at Wallace Imports was very helpful and the dealership’s back office folks were efficient and followed through in a timely manner according to their promises after the sale. Since I came from out of state to buy the car, the delivery of my title was promised 10 days after the transaction and my check cleared. They overnighted the title to me (without me specifically asking!), and all of the necessary documents were included, so registration and applying for a title in Pennsylvania was effortless. Since I was driving 8+ hours to look at the car, John was careful to give me an honest review of the car, and sent pictures as it had not yet been photographed for the website. They provided me a ride back from the airport where I had to return my 1-way rental car. Overall, a positive and efficient process!
