We went to SleepZone on Friday evening after having a couple of not so great experiences at some other local mattress dealers. The salesman, Chris, was very helpful and patient. Chris answered all of our questions and suggested a mattress that served as a starting point for us. The first mattress was very close to what we were looking for, but based on our comments Chris recommended two additional mattresses, one of which we think will be the perfect one for us. I was very pleased that they had it in stock! During the pandemic it’s been hard to find anything in stock. My parents needed a new mattress and had always sacrificed so their children and grandchildren could have the best. Today, their daughter was determined that they were gonna get the best for once. After 83 and 81 years, they more than deserved it. I had done a little research, but when Steve met us I could tell he was the expert for this purchase. I have not found the sincerity and personality of a salesman like he projects in a long time. A few months ago my husband and I visited the Johnson City store for the first time. The salesman was not pushy and gave us time to look and try different types of mattresses. Steve at sleep zone was so helpful the first time I went in with my husband to help find my mother-in-law a mattress comparable to the one we have that is no longer available. He asked educated questions to help us narrow down what we were looking for. And then two weeks later coming in, with my mother-in-law, he let us try several different options without pressuring her into one and just telling us the differences and price points. After discussing which we thought was best he let us know what he had in stock and also how long it would take to order one from manufacture. Everything was done without pressure on buying one now, and just informing us about prices, availability and what the differences between traditional, hybrid and foam were. Great experience!

The minute we walked in the door Steve greeted us and let US tell HIM what we wanted,needed and could afford. Right away he knew what mattress we were looking for. He encouraged us to lay on the bed, and explained the features to us. NO pressure! He encouraged us to try other mattresses and explained what the difference was between them. The entire time we were there, there was no pressure for us. The store itself was clean and quite. Just the right atmosphere to buy a bed.

Today Steve Stonick helped me pick a mattress that I wont need a stepstool to climb onto at night. He talked me through the ins and outs of coils and foam to settle on just the right one for me. I never felt pressured or rushed while browsing and he was very patient when I had an issue with my bank. All in all it was a very comfortable purchasing experience.

This is a second review for The Sleep Zone and Erick Biorck.The reason being I had to take advanyage of their one time only mattress swap out option (something not every store offers)I paid a lot of money for a mattress that did not work out for me after 9 days of not sleeping. Thank God the option was there to fix my situation.Again Eric made me feel a lot better even though the mattress I picked out did not work for me.He now had a better handle on what I really needed and what would not work for me. With his knowledge and kindness he picked out a few other options for me to work with. He also explained the difference in each mattress and the additional cost the swap would be for me. To have another cost increase is hard but the opportunity to be able to change out the mattress for something that would be a better situation for me is worth gold.When we decided on my second choice, Eric made me spend extended time on the mattress to make sure we were on the right track.All the products in this store are excellent in quality but not every mattress is the right one for each person. Nothing seemed to fit right, and the sales didnt seem genuine. Today, we returned to The SleepZone hoping to find Steve. He was there, and just as friendly as he was in December. Once we narrowed down our choices to 2 mattresses, we had plenty of questions. Steve was very knowledgeable and patient for every question. Although we happened upon this store in passing, Im so glad we stopped. Not only do we feel like we got a great mattress at a great price, but feel good about our purchase from The Sleep Zone. It was delivered quickly and is so comfortable. The only reason for 4 stars is the poor quality of the frame. The cross members dont fit tight and when you move around they make noise. I had to repair this problem with a few bolts. Otherwise I recommend Sleepzone in Johnson City.

He answered our questions and provided us with unbiased guidance. Sleepzones prices were by far cheaper than other mattress stores for the exact same product. Other stores should look at Sleepzone for how to treat customers and conduct business.

Very friendly sales associate Chris. He was really knowledgeable about all the beds we looked at. He made several recommendations with out being pushy on one certain bed. They also include a 30 night test drive and that’s a very impressive offer.

SleepZone is the absolute best place to buy a mattress!! The Temper-pedic brand speaks for itself, (I bought my first one here about 18 years ago) and heres why I always go back. First, the salespeople are great. We worked with Chris this time and he was very knowledgeable about the products, answered all my questions, and gave us plenty of space and time to explore the options....and there are many! I love a showroom floor that is well organized based on the specific brands. I have to add, the delivery guys that showed up, Wendell and Ronnie were also awesome! Not only did the haul off a mattress as promised, they also took down and re-set the original mattress I was replacing and put it in my guest room. They were delightful, told great stories, and were overall just pleasant. One of the stories they shared spoke volumes of the kindness and character of the owners, Mark and Emilee. You know you are doing something right when your employees are singing you praises out in the community! Great products, excellent customer service, and owners you feel good about supporting!

We went into the store at 10:30 AM and met with Store Manager Todd Whitehead. With his assistance, in a half hour we had bought the best mattress available in our price range. At 1:30 PM it was delivered to our door. The drivers took our old mattress set away and set up the new one. It was nice doing business with a local, friendly and knowledgeable group of people!

Visited the SleepZone on Sunday evening to purchase a new Sealy Hybrid. They were closing at 7 and we got there at 15 minutes before closing. Fortunately I knew exactly what I wanted and was hoping to at least lay on the bed before purchasing. Chris was so very patient and knowledgeable and gave me all the pros and cons of what I was looking for. Ended up not liking what I thought I would and purchased the new Hybrid Chill. They had in stock for Thursday delivery when other stores were quoting 12 weeks out. Chris even stayed a little late to help us make an informed decision. Great Store experience. Slept on the new mattress last night and all I can say is WOW! So far am loving it. We realized we had been sitting on it for an hour just talking about our day instead of sitting on the couch.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Chris Wiley at SleepZone. We had went to another furniture store in the area before coming to SleepZone and were not pleased with the service. We told the representative our budget and what we wanted and instead of showing us mattresses in our budget she brought us over to a $7000 dollar mattress and told us we could finance it. Which is not what we wanted at all. Chris was very professional, kind, and listened to what we wanted and our budget. He answered all our questions and allowed us to take time to decide what we wanted. We walked out of there feeling very pleased about our experience and will recommend SleepZone to anyone! Im a 23 year old buying a matress for the first time for myself. Everywhere I went to look at mattresses, I felt none of the salesmen took me seriously that I was buying one (Especially Grand Furniture). They all gave me minimal information and would normally leave to go help someone else in the store pretty quickly. Not Chris. Chris was extremely helpful from the time I walked in until I actually bought a matress a few weeks later. He gave me info on multiple different brands and answered any questions I could think of. I will gladly recommend sleep zone to anyone. 10/10
