Big fan of Clo from their original Edison location and it’s nice to see this one too!Not only do I really like their signature Clo latte as a drink (because I’m a fan of lightly sweet drinks), but their warm staff all embody the idea that they have printed on their cups: being kind!It’s also nice that they have small conference room pods available for rent where you can hold calls or meetings, this is an interesting idea in a time where many folks work remote. Looking forward to my next visit here!

Best latte I had in a while. Unlike other coffee shops who only serve in to go cups, these guys are now serving in mugs upon request. Friendly staff and great music makes you to stay there. If you guys are around journal square, definitely worth your time to stop by. #supportlocalbusinesses

I recently moved to Journal Square and noticed a lack of coffee shops around, especially one with drip coffee. I was excited to see that CLO Coffee opened a location two minutes away from my apartment. I love how I am greeted by the workers there on my coffee runs. I enjoy their iced drip coffee. And their lattes? Amazing! I love it here.

Single best cup of coffee I have had: signature CLO latte. Cup was 12 ounce (no grande or venti here) no wanted more. Courteous and helpful staff. Not your ordinary coffee shop. Located in modern high rise short walk to Journal Square. They roast their own beans sourced from Ethiopia and Rwanda. Light years ahead of Starbucks. Go for the experience. Casual vibe with seats and couch. Pastries available.

The owner Ralph is such an inspiring local Jersey City business owner. Love his vision. The quality of his coffee is outstanding and the connection is even better.

New favorite coffee shop! The two gentlemen who work there were personable and happy to share about their journey and how the coffee is made. I had been looking for high-quality cold brew to go, and their unique process gave me honestly the best cup I’ve had in a while (and priced so well!). Definitely will be back ☺️

Absolutely amazing coffee and out of this world service!

Pour over has arrived in JSQ! Treat yourself with a nice walk and some small talk with barista and cap it with a warm cup of Sumatra pour over. The best part is you won’t have to deal with the crowd or worry about barista reading your name wrong. The space is chill and my only fear is it will become too popular before I get too really enjoy it. So savor it everyone and keep your mask on!

Consistently, invariably dank. I visit on the regs for my flat white and have yet to witness any slipshod assembly. They take their craft seriously and—if pressed or queried—are extremely knowledgeable about the products and methods of production. For the quality and location prices are not inordinately peak, comparable to other artisanal coffee locales, of which Journal Square is sufficiently lacking. The overall aesthetic has a kind of sleek and modern vibe. Lastly, Ive probably met every employee at the 97 Newkirk location and theyre all good peeps, very friendly and welcoming. Show em some love, Journal Square!

CLO cafe is a beautiful cafe in the lobby of an apartment building. A very stylish suave feel to the cafe, it smelled like coffee as soon as we entered. The coffee was excellent and the service was great too! The lounge seating is nice and comfortable.

Very cool spot but impossible to work there if you have calls...high ceilings that create an echo, loud music, and fresh ground coffee for each cup leads to way too much background noise

Love this place and must say they serve the best coffee & sandwich. I would definitely recommend trying their chicken sandwich, everything is great here and cannot forget the wonderful, warm people who welcomed us. They were so sweet and made our time pleasant while we were there.

I ordered their 8oz. flat white and 8 oz. cappuccino - both taste well! The reason for -2stars is because when I went someone didnt have their mask on during our stay at the shop. Good luck with parking though!!

Ambiance is nice and staff is friendly but it took 13 minutes to get 2 lattes even though we were the only customers in the store. The taste of those lattes are good but they miss their price mark by a stretch. Croissants are also just ok.

I was so happy with the taste of their cappuccino and their red velvet cake. The taste was so delectable and satisfying. The service was so fast, and it made me impress with them. I couldnt ask for more from them! They are the best! Strongly recommended to everyone!

LOVE the JC location! My boyfriend and I always went to the Edison location but we had to check this one out too. The coffee? 100% great. The lattes? 100% great. The ambiance of this place? 100% great. Ralph/Jen and their team never disappoints. Coffee lovers, come here! New to coffee? Let them give you a great experience and appreciation for coffee!

Dude was cool, grinded beans and brewed to order, drip coffee was tasty and energizing. My girl had a mocha, also good.

Wow! Discovered this gem by accident today while taking my evening stroll. The best latte I have tasted anywhere in Jersey so far. Ralph is very friendly and inviting.

Finally a nice day to try this coffee shop, great costumer service and the coffee OMG definitely must try, will be one of my favorite spots to try after my workout since it’s pretty close.

Visited Clo coffee shop this morning as I was looking for something new around journal square in jersey city . Came across this shop !! I was so excited for the latte forgot to take a photo . .
