This is a very dope cafe, Im a huge fan. My chai and toast was really good. The staff was great, very friendly and provided great service. This cafe is close to the water so you can have breakfast while taking in some amazing views which is a vibe.

Great food and coffee, very cozy and chill vibe by the water. I would definitely recommend. Sadly they didn’t have wifi on the weekend when I went so I could sit and work that day.

Great place to work/study at. They seem to have updated their menu but I love their single-shot cappuccino, Green Salad bowl, carrot cake and the seasonal breakfast granola bowls. The baristas are very friendly and nice too.

Liked avocado & tuna sandwich. Flat white wasn’t the best for me, I feel they put more milk than needed and that’s why it’s not as strong as I expected from flat white. Anyway giving 5 stars because it’s beautiful inside, very clean, staff was great and I liked the selection of food they have here. Definitely will come back here.

Best cafe in Jersey City. Really has the best staff. All of the management is amazing. Every Single person that works there that I can think of is extremely friendly, very good with conversation, and always smiling. The old look, with all white aesthetic, was modern and calming. Now the painting on the walls give me anxiety and distracts from the ambiance.

The food, coffee and service was actually pretty decent. But only plastic cutlery and takeaway boxes to eat in? If you want people to actually eat in, please invest in some proper plates and cutlery. Its not a good experience to eat avocado toasts with plastic cutlery!

The coffee and food at Bwè are very good and consistent. Not the absolute greatest, but definitely the best in the immediate area. The smoked salmon toast is a must try.

The coffee is good. However I can’t got there during the weekday because they close at 5. They don’t provide WiFi on weekends, this’s really inconvenient. If the owner see this review, pls add WiFi on weekends!

Lovely internet cafe hot spot. Came here on a sunny afternoon and all the tables were taken - plenty of room. I ordered the Japanese cold brew and was in heaven - it was strong but not acidic. I like that they also had agave as a sweetener. I’d definitely come back here to soak in the ambiance and lovely decor.

Got a nice heated cheese chive biscuit here! The atmosphere is really nice and the staff complimented my hair. Really like it!

Excellent café to relax or get some work done in. Ambience is mellow with the music not too loud, and friendly staff. Would recommend ordering the chai latte (got mine with soy milk and it was really really good) and the macarons (the praline one was especially delicious). Ample seating throughout, from comfy arm chairs to many seats along the long table in the center to 2-seater bench/tables (counted about 29 seats). Will definitely be back soon!

The cafe was clean and bright, and the restroom was clean as well. They have WiFi, but you need to be a customer to use the restroom. The hot chocolate was just okay, but the foam on top of the hot chocolate was AWESOME.

Sublime coffee, I loved the spiced latte. Kind and helpful staff.One star lost because I felt like Id walked into an office, every table had someone working on a laptop, with several tables fully occupied by just one person.I chose to take my coffee to go, had I wished to stay there was space on a sofa for me so I cant complain.This was a Wednesday morning, I could see they were paying customers but it does annoy me (and this is true of many other coffee shops these days), when people linger longer than they should, hogging tables and driving out genuine non laptop toting customers that just want to sit and drink their coffee #1stworldproblems.

I love this place, it’s cozy and a good place to work. The food and the coffee are thoughtfully made. Definitely recommend for locals to go.

The gem of Newport, BWÈ is among the best coffee spots in the area while offering more than just great espresso with lots of tasty food-- come on Friday or early Saturday to get some of the delicious Tres Leches before they run out. They also have a wide range of various products in their marketplace, with an emphasis on sustainable sourcing.Pre-pandemic this was a great hangout spot and community hub, and Im sure itll return to that gradually as we move past this great ordeal.I strongly recommend checking them out, they make the trip out to Newport worthwhile, moreso than anything else in the area including the views along the waterfront walkway.

My husband and I met this young man name Che at the Newport location and he was the most polite and well mannered person we met in a long time ..he was prompt in his delivery and our drinks were very delicious!! I would definitely return when we visit NJ again!

Came here after rolling out of bed and in my pyjamas pretty much, and still managed to pick up some decent coffee. Latte with oat milk alternative was as good as I expected, and the iced coffee is self serve on the milk front. Prices are a bit steep for what you get.

Nice place. I teach German in the neighborhood and come here a lot. The coffee is good. The Staff is quick and competent. Always enough seating and wifi available. This place is definitely better managed than the most Starbucks. Will be back soon. They do offer french classes in the cafe.

I just discovered this place after a recommendation from a friend. It is a little out of the way but worth coming to! The staff, food and atmosphere is awesome. They also host a lot of community events like French classes! I went on a Sunday during brunch time and it was busy but not crowded and still felt really cozy and home-y. The couscous bowl was bangin and the chai was incredible. Definitely putting this spot into my regular rotation!

Coffee and pastries are good. Unfortunately, the staff need to keep tabs on the customers as people like to stay in the coffeehouse barefoot (walk around or sit like that on the furniture or on the wood log ottoman). GROSS.

Love this place. Great food, lovely coffee and they make a big effort to keep the kids happy. Server also make a teddy bear in my Sons cream on his Hot Chocolate to match his teddy bear cookie. They offer games which is awesome on bad weather days. Bravo!

Located conveniently close to Hoboken station. They have limited outdoor seating. Although it is pretty close to the river side so one can always get a drink a go sit outside. They have a pretty standard set of offerings so nothing great about that. The indoor seating is calming and a good spot to sit and get some work done. The restroom is only for customers.

I simply love their Pistachio Cake and Lemon tarts- The cake is nothing like I have tasted before, its Persian by origin and has rosewater- trust me you are in for a treat. The lemon tarts have a nice flaky crust and the lemon curt is extremely flavorful. Recommend those two things for sure

Worst service ever experienced. Ran to use the restroom before purchasing a coffee and was quickly informed that neither of the bathrooms are working. Despite letting the blonde snarky barista know Im a customer and pregnant she only snarled at me and told me to try the apartment building. When she noticed my husband had ordered a coffee she actually whispered to her colleague not to let me in. And they then advised that maybe the pizzeria would let me in.I read a lot of good reviews and even though I had an order in mind the rude worker completely killed off any desire to order.Husband said the coffee was fine.

Our tried and true place on Sundays for a year. Staff very pleasant. Barista starts my drink as I walk in.

This is a cozy place where warm story happens. Last week, I saw a little cutie around three years old and his older sister here. Their mom bought different cookie for each of them. The three-year-old cutie handed his cookie to his sisters mouth, which means you can taste mine and let me take a bite of yours. His sister didnt eat his but let him take a bite. After tasting his sisters cookie, he nodded enjoyably and gave a big thumbs up, like he was eating the most delicious thing in the world. Which made me memorize sweet trivial things happened between me and my older cousin during childhood.

Terrible customer service. Staff did not allow my pregnant wife to use the restroom in an emergency situation, because they didnt think she was a customer. Its a bit strange to say both restrooms are out of order.

Great breakfast spot after a jaunt along the Hudson River! Comes with great service, clean space, free WiFi (only on weekdays though), and tasty food. Pancakes and coffee are awesome — avo & salmon toast come on a HUGE slice of bread. Granola bowls could do with more granola!

Knowledgeable staff, and a great range of teas and coffees are available here. Its a great place to work out of during the day, but come early before the tables get all filled up.Try the Japanese cold brew, its very different from the cold brew that you get in other places!

Came here for brunch with friends and got a table quickly. It’s discreet on the outside so you might walk past it, so look for the dark grey/black exterior. We sat in the airy atrium and had a handful of vegetarian dishes to share...and most were delicious. We opted to pay individual prices but they do offer al acarte with unlimited small dishes and drinks for brunch (check the menu). I especially liked the roasted potatoes and classic mimosas.

First of all, the coffee itself is awesome quality and Ive been there so many times that I can tell the employees are following a consistent recipe. Speaking of, the employees are always friendly and welcoming, which helps to bring a great vibe to the place. I also like how involved Bwè is with the community, hosting things like weekly yoga, embroidery, book club, etc. Keep doing what youre doing, Bwè! I hope to see you guys open more locations down the road.

Found this place because its highly rated and highly reviewed on Yelp and close to my new office.One of the first reviews I read was that the Japanese Cold Brew was good. I wholeheartedly agree with that Yelper.Space was bright and looked cozy and comfortable if you were looking to sit down and get some work done on a weekday or catch up with a friend.Ill come back and try more things most likely. It sounds like some of their food is worth nomming on. Well see!

Its my go to coffee house. Must try its Cafe Mocha and waffles.The avocado toast is great too (Although I do find it a little expensive).

Id love to go back to this café for its work from home ambiance, but only when customer service is improved upon and a friendlier barista is stationed on the forefront rather that one who acts as if she hates her job and the customers coming in. Leaving a poor review because of a rude short blonde barista (who doesn’t give her name out) with a nose piercing who messed up my order more than once and when I confronted her, she rudely and LOUDLY argued that what she prepared was what I had asked for. She did not even offer to fix my order and just started talking to a coworker and completely ignored me. This happened in the evening on a weekday. I wonder how she’s not fired yet despite her complete lack of manners and extremely poor customer service.2) I love this cafe chain and the Hoboken one is really nice and their coffee is wonderful. But this Newport one needs to fix its management. There’s a short blonde barista who needs to learn to do her job properly. She didn’t wait for me to finish my order and kept talking to other workers at the cafe instead of taking my order. She also didn’t answer any of my questions about the menu items. The other baristas were great though and took the time to politely and patiently explain their menu offerings and point out what I should try when I asked for recommendations. The blonde one will reduce this cafe’s customer base to half for sure since she’s so bad at her job!!
