We’ve been coming here since the early 2000’s and have been treated just the way customers should be. Our last visit we leased a car from Julian Salazar. He was patient, knowledgeable and overall accommodating to my wife and I. We’ve said since our first encounter we are customers for life here and it’s true.

Beware - misleading advertising. Called before driving 1 hour to see a specific car and was told it is in stock. When I arrived they said it is not available, and might be available in a month with up to 5000 miles on odometer. Also was informed that they add $5700 premium to every car price that they advertise online.

I was looking to buy a car and Hyundai was top of my list. When I arrived, a sales person in his 50-60s took me across the street to see cars in a parking lot. He just told me to look for what I like. All cars were locked and when I request to see inside the cars, he asked me to decide what car I want because he needed to go across the street to get the keys. He didn’t even try to explain anything about those cars and the difference between those models. I didn’t see any intention from that guy to sell anything, seems he just want to go home. He didn’t even try to face a smile. So I decided to looks for cars in dealers across the street where the customer service was much better.

On Wednesday, March 26, 2021; I scheduled an online appointment for an oil change for my Hyundai Sonata. Upon dropping my vehicle off; The Service Representative Diego tried to inform me that I needed my back brakes done. Since when? Please be advised, at no giving time did Diego EVER mention this in past to me. I kindly declined his offer and told him to proceed with the oil change. At approx. 5:21pm, a sales associate called to confirm my vehicle was ready for pick up. I begin to walk over to the cashier booth to pay and present the Hudson Hyundai Oil Change Coupon which expires on 06-26-2021 for $39.95 (On their Website) and I was told I couldn’t use it because a discount was already applied. Where Sway? Because all I see in front of me is a darn invoice for $75.95. Now, here comes Diego again,” Well Miss you were charged for rotating of the tires, fluids in the wipers” etc. If I’m not mistaking I thought the Multi-point inspection, Check/adjust vital fluids was all FREE? I’ll leave it at this, HUDSON HYUNDAI OF JERSEY CITY- YOU WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN! YOU GUY’S ARE A COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!

Originally I took a car and Julian. Took care of me. He was awesome. Great enough that I decided to refer someone there. Before I started recommending there I spoke to them and they said that I will get a referral check. After that I referred someone. They got a car and I was told 4 weeks for a referral check. Unfortunately They where not able to deal with Julian due to schedule conflicts. So my referral delt with Chris instead. Since mentioning about the check. It’s been nothing but constant bouncing around. The manager finally got involved and even he is bouncing me around. It’s been an month and a half. Going on 2 months. I will escalate this to the highest level I can. It’s absurd a customer who actually promotes the dealer gets treated like this. This is the last time I’m ever referring this dealer.
