Honest and really helpful. I needed to fix the rear door of my car and they told what to do to replace it, saving big bucks for it. Awesome job and done within the same day.

Expensive and you don’t go to auto body shops to get work done very often. They don’t care if you return back or not. Even if you go back they don’t give you reasonable price.

The low price and the amazing job they did is why you should come here. Very professional and great service all around.

If you’re literally out of options and have no choice I would consider this body shop. Otherwise take your business elsewhere. As other people have stated, they will continually try to push you to go through insurance just so they can make more money. They could care less about the client. I was tremendously overcharged and the work was mediocre. Professional scam artists.In addition, when I spoke to the receptionist she told me she would email me a copy of the repair order. After I said I wanted to check another place she refused to send me the repair order she had promised and then started to get nasty with me. Customer service was horrendous. I would never bring my own nor anyone else’s business here ever again.

Besides the high quality of the work they delivered It has been a pleasure to meet the staff. Lady at the front desk has solved everything smooth and nicely. They did not just clean but detailed my car (Honda). Strongly recommend. Thanks guys...

My parked car got smashed pretty good and Centro saved it. They helped facilitate things with the insurance adjuster. John did great work and was easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I had an unbelievable experience with Centro Auto Body. John showed me great honesty, integrity, and service when handling my 2011 Toyota Camry. Other Body shops (as well as local dealerships in the area) quoted me upwards of $2000+ to fix some minor cosmetic damage on my car. John handled it for a fraction of the price and had the car ready sooner than expected on the same day. I was blown away by how great he was and how much money he was able to save me. Going forward Centro Auto is the only place I will go in Jersey City area for body work.

Centro Auto Body was fantastic! I brought my car in after another mechanic shop had scratched up my bumper but couldnt fix it themselves. Jon at Centro was extremely friendly and helpful and the work they did was outstanding! You can never even tell there was a huge scratch, it looks as good as new! I would definitely come back any time I need any body work done. The customer service and workmanship was exceptional.

Called them two Friday’s ago to look at my car. They asked me to bring it in that Friday and again that Monday to be looked at. On the Monday appointment, I was continuously pushed to go through my insurance, which I said I didn’t want to make a decision on until I saw the full quote. Despite saying this multiple times, they kept insisting I go through insurance. I was told they would email my quote that day, and they never sent it to me. Thankfully I found somewhere better as I will never be coming back here.

Excellent work I Fix European cars there

My first experience here was great. I came in with a foot long scratch on the front end of my new car. I thought it was going to be an expensive paint job. The owner came out, and recommended we try sanding and compounding the scratch first. He offered to do it on the spot. Good as new! The whole thing took 10 minutes max. The charge was reasonable and when I was short 50 cents of the total in cash, he just took a dollar off the total. Friendly, honest, and helpful. What a local business should be. Id certainly return with my auto body needs.

My car was hit while parked on the street. Massive body damage to bumper/trunk and the back left-side. Later found out from the appraiser, over $5K in damages. I went to Centro after a recommendation from AAA. Harley, the owner, was communicative, transparent and a genuinely nice guy. The work, which was guaranteed, was finished before the estimated date and looked great -- better than before the accident. If youre in the greater Jersey City area and in need of auto body work, I highly recommend Harley and Centro.

John and another gentleman at Centro Auto Body was an absolute joy to work with. I arrived totally unexpected, he assessed my car with no delays, worked on it for 1.5 hours in the HOT sun and was able to offer an optional fix to avoid me paying the overpriced dealer fees. DONT DO IT. They Promise they wouldnt nickel and dime me but guess what they did. They also promised to find a way to charge me for something since I reminded them they said there was no charge. Then they said someone will have to come pay with a credit card in person then told the person I sent they dont take credit cards just cash. Now does that sound like someone you should do business with.

The dashboard reflected that the hood was unlocked, an issue that did not exist when the car was initially taken in for body work. Certain plastic areas on the inside were also damaged in ways that were not present when the car was taken in. On the whole the experience at this body shop was a bit underwhelming given the amount that I spent.

John and the entire crew there were great. Repaired the car quickly and looks brand new! Highly recommend!

My car was hit in the left rear, causing damage to the body and suspension. I did not have rental coverage on my insurance policy so the manager called a local rental company in downtown JC and got me a discounted rate on a rental car which was a big help financially. The repairs were done quickly and I could not tell what was repaired from the factory finish. The staff was very kind from the first day I dropped by car off until the final pickup. I highly recommend Centro Auto Body!!
