I went to the Cash saver on Tuesday 11/2/21. When we arrived the tall young man did not greet us, when we got to the check out he did not say hi, did not even tell the final total on our bill. He never said a word. I had to ask him how much our final bill was. The screen for us to see the running charges was not working. When we left, he did not say thank you, good bye or have a nice day. Never a word. This is unacceptable and if he is going to work with the public he needs training on how to wait on someone properly. That’s sad. when you have to be trained on how to talk to people properly, politely and professional. Secondly, I had to pay 3.59 for ground beef. I can get that at the Pic Pac for 1.99 a pound and sometimes lower. Most shelves a not even stocked, mainly empty. Get better management !
Used to be a dump, never anything in stock, rude employees. New Management has the store completely flipped around, and there are so many choices for whatever you might need. Way to go for them!
Quick, not busy, have everything I need or a close substitute. Wont find exotic stuff but good enough. Love it
Dont ever close Jeff Cash Savers as we call it the old A&P ever we depend on it.
Old town grocery store in the New kingdom of God where you can by ingredients for cooking at home in the kingdom of God amen
Ole Town grocery(as we locals call it). Wonderful hidden treasure in the downtown neighborhood. Best Choice brand is top shelf product. They even have their own butcher shop, with unbeatable prices.
Always friendly service, great to have a market so close in the neighborhood, :-)
Good location for a small downtown grocery.
They never have shelves stocked.Produce looks and smells horrible.Really down hill since Old town grocery left of out there.
Older mom and pop type grocery store. Not a chain type store. Just groceries. Locally owned.
Never has what Im looking for. The male manager (no names mentioned) is very rude.
Quite little grocery store with competitive prices to the bigger chains. Great location in historic downtown Jeffersonville.
Small store easy for quick trips usually have what I need if not the exact item there is a suitable substitute . Within walking distance of my house
For some time standing, I have liked this place. But at the end of April, I was in the store to pick up a few staple food items, and heard one of the 20something cashiers boiling over, vowing never to wear a face mask. I am not going to suffocate, and they can fire me, I told them, she said. --This, while there were customers in easy earshot, wearing masks because they understood the public health necessity of doing so.There are very helpful and competent employees here. I dont want to minimize that. But if I were head honcho, I would have a talk with the employees here, perhaps as a group so no one felt singled out, about not being quite so... natural-acting around customers. My message would be that this isnt your living room or your text app on your phone. It is the public retail place you work.
Small store but prices are good and people are friendly.
It is to experience I hate to😡🔥
Older place neighborhood place. Could use sprucing up, but even tho they have faced delivery issues of late..who ELSE would go to the competition to buy necessities eggs milk bread etc, to make sure their neighbors have them for many this is the closest place to shop period.
Prices are reasonable store could use a little sprucing up
Only shop there because its right by my house. Prices are way to high, there selection blows and they are always out of main items like bagels! Who runs out of bagels !
Ill go here quite frequently sometimes they dont have what Im looking for and Ill make several trips trying to find it but for the most part I do like the store its a HomeTown feel to it thats important to me but they are overpriced on most of their stuff
Old town grocery is very reliable small grocery store that not super busy an pretty much have everything you need. Prices are cheap an workers are very nice. Store has been around for many years an very honest people
Small selection but convenient if you just need a few things. Friendly staff. Sales are usually killer.
Decent local grocery
Dirty, dirty, prices unreal, run out of stock for 3 to 5 days .All the time !!!! Needs overhauled, an remodeling.Instead a coat of paint on a danm wall.
This place is by far my favorite place to shop for groceries and basic household items. They had everything that we needed during the Covid-19 quarantine.
I used to love this store! It was close to home and I could get in and out fast! Now everything is expired and they know it and continue to leave it out to be sold!
Sucked...but good for local people walking I guess
Small convenient grocery store. Great prices!!doesnt have the biggest selection of foods but you can easily do your families grocery shopping here and get everything you need.Sometimes the check out is quick.. most of the time there is a line.
Close to home and convenient!
Nice little store, a little pricey.
There is nothing you can do service is great in there it deals with parking always know where to park
Lots of items and friendly staff.
Just had to wait in line for a bit....7 people deep....but not bad
I like this little place. Its got good fruits and veggies and theyre very organized. The cashiers are a bit slow but, they were welcoming. I will definitely make a habit of coming by during my lunch break for a snack or two.
Nice neighborhood store. Nice deli. Great for finding snack type cakes and lunch box needs.
Always have sale, banana @27or 29 cents today. Fresh meat cheap price including 🐔a chicken tender, thigh, drumstick, ground meat I enjoy shopping there because I saved a lot. Corn 4 for a dollar canned goods, frozen fish, chicken, bacon/pork sausage, banana, salmon in can, tuna chicken of the sea all on sale, total spent with tax $19.25.money well spent. I want to shop there weekly..
Good old-fashioned Hometown grocery storeHave everything you want and then some.
Oh my gosh!!!!! I love love love in his place! They have wonderful prices on alot of things.... I bought a pork loin for ten dollars I have it in the pressure cooker now. Its enough to feed my family for 4 meals. Staff was very friendly. Check out was fast. I will most definitely be doing my shopping there from now on.
Friendly familiar downtown store. Stocked well.
Needs a total renovation. Store is small which has its benefits. They had 10% to everything. Meat dept has good sales but limits purchases. Get tired of being panhandled in the parking lot or asked for rides. Parking lot also needs redone..pothole city
They have some great deals and items I can only find here.
A great small grocery with everything. They add 10 percent to the cost when you check out. That is their up front profit. It is honest, and comes as a surprise to new customers. Low prices.
My old town grocery store, love it. I have been going here for over 30 years.
There prices are the best and cheapest around seriously. The staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. For the size of the store they do have a lot to choose from. We shop there everyday, not to mention their meat is the best, its fresh and cheap, they have a great variety. Its the ONLY place I will purchase my meat.. The only negative thing I have to say is their lunch meat thats freshly sliced is a little over priced and not much of a variety.
Got some good looking t- bones for 3.99 a lb
Great Conner store for the neighborhood, great quality and price!!
I love Old Townes meats! But they provide great canned goods at reasonable prices. Cashiers are very friendly. Im glad this store is close to me.
Although I love supporting local businesses, this store needs some serious updates and the selection is extremely limited. Still the best place to go in the neighborhood for quick in and out shopping for basic grocery items.
Absolutely terrible. Ill only go if I need one or two things because its nearby. Learned long ago to avoid anything with their brand name on it. I picked up some hamburger patties from the meat counter today. Hidden on the underside of the patties were huge chunks of fat and grizzle. Since I cant add the pic with this review, Im putting it on the main page. Next time I need just a few things, Ill take the extra 10 minutes and go to Krogers.
Greatly appreciated.I have loved yourstore.Since I was a small child.
This place always has great deals on meat and produce. It is an old pic-pac. You would go check them out. Nice small store able to.be In and out.
I shop here probably 1 or 2 xs a month. Love the product I ordered & the price. Service is good too.
Great meat sales. Friendly butcher. Get theyre before noon on sales days or they will run out.
Small neighborhood grocery. Recent upgrades. Some great deals. Not a lot of variety but a lot quicker than the larger supermarkets. Im a frequent visitor.
Pricey. The lettuce was $2.80 for 1 head.
Good food and good prices. Its easy to find things.
Great place for food at low prices staff was nice was in at out quick will come back soon
Molded pizza. Expired groceries without discount.. Freezer burnt everything.
Web site said open on Christmas, store was all lit, sigh on door said will close at 6:00pm Christmas. It was closed the entire day. I was sent on a wild goose chase, their motive, I havent a clue!
This grocery store is the only spot I know of to buy Conecuh sausage. It is a far superior sausage to nearly all of the other biznazz in the cooler. Also, dirt cheap prices on almost everything.
Great local grocery! If you dont see what you want talk to the manager. They will try and stock it for you!
Great place been here seems like forever
Good prices today. Hamburger is $2/lb
Great selection of meat best in southern Indiana
That red headed boy that works there is amazing, he always has a smile on his face. He is just so nice.
Do not recommend to shop there it looks cheap is that they have is cheap not good at all. And the add 10% at the checkout so you pay more sometimes then you do at a name brand stores
Best prices on meat, and the quality is excellent. Nice cuts of meat. Great T-Bone Steaks!
Best meat in town.! Love the ladies that cashier.. Everyone is so nice.
The prices was great and employees were excellent great place for my first time doing business there
High prices little selection but friendly service
Needs a bit of cleaning....I know its an old building but it could look better if it were cleaner!
I love it it was my first time, great food great prices . Thank You
Worse than old town always running out of stuff takes them forever to get more in an the 10% added at check out is a rip off how does anyone know there selling it to us for what it cost them definitely not true after they add the 10% is higher than Walmart an krogers but I go there because I dont drive or have a way to get around . Produce is atrocious I saw mildly greens there a week or so ago and when there not molded there brown an not fresh. Worse store ever over all. Not enough check out people due to laziness.
Its off spring st on maple, the only grocery store downtown Jeff so its convenient if Yo live in that area, plus they have about everything you would need pertaining to food or drink .
Small town grocery atmosphere. Good for get in get out trip.
This grocery is okay to pick up things i may have forgotten through the week. The location is convenient for some who dont want to travel a little further to get to the name brand grocery chains.
Good deals... But always a long slow check-out! Never more than one lane open!
Its awesome, real old school, great customer service, easy in & out, ✨
Greatest small town grocery store.
Very convenient location in downtown Jeffersonville. Good prices and a fair assortment of groceries.
Do not like the 10% surcharge and it could be a lot cleaner! Other than that, a handy place to pick up a few things if you live in downtown Jeffersonville!
Great little Neighborhood Grocery Store
Good service
Neighborhood grocery. I visit here several times a week. They have better meat and meat prices than Kroger. Meijer or Wal-Mart. They even carry some gluten-free items, yes, which I used to only get from the big stores. The employees are ok. I like the originals better to be honest, the few that are left.but overall I like it and you can find me there more than once a week, for sure.
Slways good price and the best service
Country. Just plain country. Old timey. Bring a deck of cards to pass the time at the checkout.
I have always like the store, great meat selection and always fresh, also the best price on propane tanks around.
Great small local grocery. Good prices and selection.
Love my favorite small, local grocery.
Love the prices and service
Perfect non-bigbox small town grocery. Love the convenience!!
Great prices on quality food.
Great place low prices friendly face good customer service.
As usual, ad broke yestterday,2-14-18. Went to store on 2-15-18 to make purchases. Again they were out of some items. As I entered store, there was a hand printed sign on door that there was a misprint in the ad and one particular item was $2.10 instead of .59 cents. They seem to either not get items or run out within two gourd of store opening. The bad thing is NO RAIN CHECKS
Its called cash savers now. They have affordable prices on everything.
A good place to buy fresh food
Best meat Dept around. Good prices too.
I think this store has good value for your buck.
Recently updated their produce section. Super happy about that!
Ok over all needs to make sure food is not out of date they put on shelfs
