Janesville store is FAR SUPERIOR over the Sun Prairie store that was very discriminating, and the Monona store who was not willing to work customers. The Janesville store was VERY helpful, curtious, professional and friendly they kept me as a Verizon customer after very seriously almost switching because of the Sun Prairie and Monona store !!!!

Had great customer service here. Went to the Machesney park one at first and the lady was not very helpful and didn’t really answer my questions . I went to this store and they were all super helpful. The guy I had an appointment with gave me multiple options on what I could do.told me what was wrong with the used phone I bought online.Told me a better site to use if I want to buy a used phone but also told me about the more affordable option iPhone SE 2020. I ended up going with the newer phone, the iPhone we 2020. When I went back to pick up the phone I ordered online they were all super nice and told me any questions I can come back.

I called the 1-800 number today because I didnt understand some of the charges because I purchased a new phone. I spoke with young Zach (I dont know last name) and he helped me not only with my questions, he went far and beyond to help me out. He took the time to explain to me the benefits of upgrade and help me to set up my hulu & disney account and many other stuff and signed me off for my rewards. He was so patience and had a great attitude. I know about customer service and today I received the best customer service I ever had on my 23 years with Verizon. Thanks Zach!

COVID-19 ready store. You must remind outside until its your turn and they invite you in. Everyone wear mask and they have plenty of hand sanitizer. Custom service was great. Installed new sim cards in phones. They have handicap ♿parking.

Drove 35 minutes to upgrade my daughters phone, and I arrived they said it was “appointment only”. Nothing I found online mentioned that. I googled them to make sure they were open and it even had a green check mark next to “in store shopping”. Drove 35 minutes back home empty handed and damn near went to the Sprint store next door. What a complete waste of my time.

Eric, the store manager, was able to complete requests deemed impossible by other Verizon departments. I’ve worked with the mobile fraud and customer service team for Verizon to issue me a refund for incorrect charges to my account. None were able to complete my request. Eric was a liaison between me and Verizon’s customer care department to issue a $140 account credit. My partner and I are incredibly pleased with the outcome and his patience. For all of your Verizon needs, I highly recommend this branch. They go above the status quo for customer service.

We are long time Verizon customers and I did not feel like they cared about me staying a Verizon customer at all. They can’t transfer my phone to a new phone and didn’t have any help to help me do it. I said that maybe I would check out AT&T and they had nothing to say. Who do they think they are. Time to switch, don’t like arrogance like that when doing business.

The staff that used to work there was friendly and helpful. You can walk in the store and the vibe from the current staff is that you are more of a bother to them. The past staff would help transfer data to a new device without question. I have a new device and do not know how to transfer data. They refuse to help. The current staff in this store do not care about properly assisting customers at all. The only want to get you out of their store as quickly as possible. This would be a great thing if they were helpful along with speedy.

Horrible experience as usual! Every time i go here I leaved pissed off. I went to just upgrade my daughters phone. I was looking for an inexpensive smart phone. Waited for like 10 minutes before I got help while I watched the staff do absolutely nothing except talk to each other. There was only two customers and like 6 staff members. Seriously! It is two days before Christmas get it together. When I finally got help the guy was rude and condescending. All I wanted was an inexpensive upgrade for my daughters phone (since she keeps breaking the screen I didt want to pay a lot). I show him the one I want and he says, You dont want that phone. You want this one. It is only $10 a month on special. The phone did not say that at all. It said $24 a month and was the newest Galaxy 7. I said Im not getting her that since I dont even have that phone yet. I just wanted something inexpensive at this time and asked him to tell me about the other phone. He just kept talking about that one. Finally I said I maybe will upgrade mine very soon. How long is the special going on. He says, It can end at anytime. Seriously! At that point I just left! Totally unhelpful. I will just go online. Much better experience. Why Verizon Wireless keeps this place open is beyond me. They are waste of good real estate space.

I visited my local Verizon store for about the 4th time this year and again had wonderful customer service. Just when I think I am going to run into trouble trying to fix my phone, they order me a new one or help me edge up to another phone at no charge. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and are quick to fix any situations or mistake they might have made. This kind of service is why I keep coming back so frequently to try new products.

Wanted to upgrade my phone early even though I had still about 2/3 of a year to go, and they worked with me to save the most money. I worked with Jen, and she was helpful and knowledgeable. Ended up with a lot of add ons because of all the sales and promotions that were running. Overall I walked out with a lot more than I thought I would, and Im happy I chose this store over the closer one to my house. The three members closing tonight were awesome and would recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed with the Janesville Verizon store. I went to the store yesterday to switch from Sprint. I initially went in earlier to get information as I was shopping around for a new carrier and ended up choosing Verizon.We returned to the store and worked with sales rep Anthony. He explained the promotions and we liked what we heard. We agreed to the deal he gave us and he ran my credit. He then told me that I was not approved for financing which surprised me because I have good credit. Confused by this I reached out to my brother who is a store manager for Verizon in a different state to get more insight on why I would be denied service. After explaining the situation to my brother he concluded that I was most likely flagged or denied service for suspicion of fraud. He further stated that most sales reps reach this conclusion by asking probing questions to determine if the potential customer is likely fraud.Being that I have good credit and phone numbers to port in from my current carrier, along with iPhones to trade in for the current promotion, the only factor that was taken for consideration was was my appearance. I am a woman of Mexican decent and all American. I did not appreciate how I was denied service on that alone because when I called customer service the representative told me I have great credit and am well approved for what I was applying for.I called back the store to speak with the store manager on what happened. After speaking with him he told him I was “probably approved at a later time” which is a blatant lie because customer service told me that they have no idea why something like that would be said to me and that I was completely approved from the initial credit check and that I can go in anytime within the next 6 months with the same approval.I will NOT be returning to the Janesville store where the employees qualify you for service based on appearance and where managers lie to cover up.Avoid this dishonest location.

Drove 30 min to this store because it’s a corporate store & the website said it had the phone I wanted. I went in to upgrade & get a new phone. I wanted the iPhone X & I ended up walking out with an iPhone 8. I guess it’s partially my fault because I didn’t check when I got in the car but at the same time, she should’ve done her job correctly & gave me what I wanted. NOW I have to drive back & hopefully get the phone I initially wanted.

Ive had terrible experiences at every Verizon store Ive been to but this Janesville store just blew me away. From the minute I walked in to when I left they were very helpful and considerate. I almost left Verizon due to the poor customer service at Michigan and Illinois stores and I was expecting the same snobby a-hole routine at this store but I was completely shocked at how nice they were. Thanks for the help and excellent service guys! I will drive out of my way and come see you instead of the Rockford IL store!!

My husband took my I-Phone 6S in, because I couldnt make or receive calls. He had to wait a long time, and they didnt fix the problem. They said he needed to go to the Apple store or buy a new phone.He got home and I tried a solution I found on the internet. I was able to fix it in 2 minutes. We were also at the Dells a couple of weeks ago and service was terrible. The kid at the store suggested we switch carriers.

I have visited this store multiple times, and I have yet to have one positive experience there. The sales associates (and managers!) are rude, condescending and entirely unhelpful. I’m not the type to let things or people get to me, but man oh man, every single time I walk out of this store I am simply appalled by their horrible customer service. In the future, I will try and do as much of my business online rather than in store. Unbelievable!

The customer service is atrocious. Take the time to drive to one of the stores in Madison, Wisconsin. Its worth going out of your way and the gas to avoid dealing with one of the many sales associates who are uppity, unless you love being talked down to, I wouldnt suggest it. I am very disappointed every time I am forced to go in there.

Ive been in this store 5 times in the past year for myself & at least 6 times with a friend for her account.1st time - to sign up for new service 2 lines & a hot spot. Misinformed regarding options & walked out 3 hours later finally with what we came for.2nd time - less then 30 days later to take in defective phone. Asst Manger did not want to exchange phone said it would need to go out for repair. 800 customer service said no give her a new phone, which they did but added a month onto contract without telling me.3rd time - add 2 lines for my kids, 2 1/2 hours later finally left store with 2 lines & a whole lot of attitude from customer rep4th time - exchange case that would not work with new phone. No big hassles just a very long wait.5th time - upgrade 1st 2 phones with early edge from previous year. I already was on line chat with customer rep to iron out all the details & printed conversation. Store Asst Manager was rude and would not honor. (On line chat rep gave me a deal that could not be honored by any store) I spent 39 minutes on the phone with customer service in their parking lot. Came to another alternative, went into store handed Asst Manager my phone to speak to the customer rep on phone & he was rude to her & would not honor alternative solution.I called to get the store managers phone or email & Asst Manager from previous day said he could not give out personal information unless I told him who I was.Over all Customer service for Verizon is mediocre to fair with misinformation but this store is awful. I will go out of my way and drive the opposite direction to a different store in the future.

Manager, assistant manager and store clerk would rather tell me how I was wrong and didnt know how to operate the phone rather than actually help me. Said most of the programs werent working and they would raise their voice and become very edgy about my questions. Not only do I not specialize in phone usage, but I had to drive 25 miles (5) times for them to not properly follow-through on the phone as well as not even thank me for coming in. This store is full of disrespectful people who dont understand customer support. Hope this drives people away from buying from Verizon Wireless.Funny thing: visited the store again to set-up a new phone this week and nothing has changed. 2 weeks ago, set up a meeting with an associate (at his request) who ended up forgetting and left me hanging at the store for an hour before anyone could meet with me. Not to mention, the pricing and information that was given, prior to me coming in, was incredibly inaccurate. Due to the issues, the General Manager waived my activation fee - only to have it appear on my first bill. This store needs serious customer service training and needs to live up to the Verizon standards that other stores have. Very upsetting that the closest store (25 miles) to my house, is my only option and the option is always a miserable experience.

Nov. 19 went to the verizon store because my 4 year old droid wasnt working. The sales Rep Abigail suggested that I upgrade to a new Droid Turbo 2. I asked would this cost me anything she stated no, even up fora new plan. I then asked her would I lose any data by switching to the other phone, she said no. When we made the switch I lost important text messages that were saved and 3 videos of my daughter performing in h.s., plus my corporate email wouldnt work and now I needed a special 4 digit code in order to use my phone due to the corporate email. All I got from Abigail was, sorry, didnt I ask you if you had cloud? Cloud I responded, yes to save your videos and photos. Dont you think you shouldve mentioned that before we made the switch?? Again she was sorry. Memories lost forever, important messages gone, still not able to use corporate email. Manager steps in, corporate email needs to be taken care of through your IT department, nothing we can do. Funny it worked just phone on the old phone? Manager Courtney response was new technology. Left store frustrated. I then called verizon spoke to customer service to see what I can do to get the corporate email to work? They had no clue. I then asked about my monthly bill, found out that my bill would not be $88 per month but $95.00, original monthly plan was $75. I asked why my bill has jumped so much, rep said that you are paying $27 a month extra for your new phone. WHAT?? What monthly payment? I was told it was an even swap, old phone for new phone with a new plan. Abigail never mentioned I was paying a monthly payment for a new phone. She told me the old plan was expiring and I needed to upgrade to a new plan before December 6th, 2015. This was the ONLY reason why I upgraded to a new phone otherwise I was quite content with what I had. I called the store to complain to the manager Courtney. His response Sir, did someone hold a gun to your head, you signed the dotted line. I saw nothing on the ipad that Abigail was showing me that I was paying a monthly installment for a new phone. Just $88 for a new contract for 2 years. Abigail must of needed her commission for November and was getting it no matter what and the Manager was backing her up to receive his cut.Now Im stuck with a new phone, higher monthly bill, no corporate email, lost memories, lost messages and the conveniently got rid of my old phone so I had nothing to fall back on. I feel I was taken advantage of, no help from manager, terrible service to come up with a better solution. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!
