The food and service was top notch. I got a chance to speak with the owner who is very knowledgeable about the area. Its not very often you to speak with a owner who actually cares about taking time to speak with a stranger for as long as you like. They have pies and cinnamon rolls that are to die for. I will definitely return to try more things on the menu. Mind you this is a truck stop and diner, so you can find all sorts of goodies here. If your hungry and want quality food at a good price along with quality service I recommend you visit this gem. Two thumbs up..

One of (if not) one of the best places in Jamestown to eat at. Tje food is terrific and the service is friendly. Also the restaurant and facilities are very clean. I highly recommend it.

Showers I put a 1☆ because I DO NOT KNOW if they offer or how they are. But everything else from the restaurant (which had great home style food; truck wreck tasted wonderful. get the salsa with it). and the fueling side is nice. only down fall, you got to go in for authorization for the truck fuel. the readers outside doesnt work.

Its a yesteryear truck stop with a cafe that cant be beat (like Alices Restaurant) . Busy place. Swear the whole town eats here so that says something.

Great gas station especially with a Cafe built into it. It seemed like a very popular truck stop. It also was stocked and had everything you needed or wanted. If you are a truck driver it had no showers but to a regular customer like me...not an issue. It is very easy to find from the road and serves its purpose well.

USED to be a great diner but no longer.Came here about 2 months ago and had the meat omelet. It was a pre-made version with literally paper thin egg. In fact it couldnt have been just egg to get it that thin.Wasnt impressed.Then last night I parked there again hoping for something better i chose the Chicken dinner thinking it shouldnt be too difficult. To my surprise it arrived as 3 pieces of deep fried KFC style, the breast was still frozen inside and a small scoop of potatoes with smaller scoop of gravy.Needless to say I didnt eat it.This is why Ma and Pa diners are going out of business.I certainly will never come back

Amazing! Thats what this place is, for service and flavor in the food. Tina was my cheerful waitress. She took good care of me. For an $8 Truck Wreck I was busting at the seems. The chicken tortilla soup was my appetizer. If I would have known the flavor was to the moon, I would have ordered a tupperware now-thats-a-bowl full. I should have asked for the recipe. Delicious with a little kick!!A dear friend of Mine, Norman Unger, who has since passed, recommended this establishment. Its one of few Ma & Pop restaurant truck-stops still out here. Enjoy!!!

Stopped here for a 10 hour reset, and i likely wont do so again. Heres why;The good:Cafe has decent foodShower area very open and cleanNice lounge for TruckersNice selection if drinks, food, and suppliesCafe staff was AMAZING!The bad:The drivers lounge was full of loud kids, hard to relaxBathroom was an absolute disasterNo real spot for drivers to park away from noiseGas station staff was unfriendly and rudeOverall, 4/10. I was turned off enough that I decided to go fuel my truck further down the road, mostly because the gas station staff was so unwelcoming. Between food, drinks, fuel, other fluids, and road supplies, this couldve been a $400 stop. As it was, I bought some dinner in the cafe, and a fountain pop, and gave the bigger money to a more appreciative travel center.

I just started to work there. It has all around good vibe there. Staff and cliental are pleasant to be around. That makes for a good dinning experience.

Best Truck Plaza for miles around. I can see why Perkins was driven out of town. This is a wonderful cafe. More food and its much better too.

Amazing jem in North Dakota. Nice big lot to park trucks. Some of the cleanest bathrooms and showers on the road. Closed for few hours at night, 12am-4:30am. Showers $10. Tire shop on the lot. The rest I didnt have time to check out. Thank you whoever runs this place.

Stopped here while running errands. Best burger Ive had in a very long time. Meat was not a premade frozen patty. Bun was toasted. So juicy. Waitress was nice. Attentive without being obtrusive. Price was better than reasonable. I will definitely come again.

Great diner food and great service. A good place for cheap gas and a hefty portion of American cuisine.

Decent parking good restaurant really cant complain

Its a truck stop, nothing special. Its not dirty which is a great thing. Didnt use shower facilities or the diner.However they do close at midnight which for a woman in the trucking industry is frustrating and is why I try to stick with 24 hour operations. I cant control when I have to use the restroom and well I cant stands up and do it in some random spot outside (especially in -22 weather)!Additionally, they need to get a property maintenance company. The parking lot is an ice rink. Definitely need to throw some ice melt on that!

Zach is a great friend and a good manager! I totally understand his reasoning in not hiring friends or family and I cant be upset with him for that. He runs a nice place.

Bad service. Took 45 mins for a basic house salad. Fries tasted like fish forgot all dressings..syrup..etc. waited 30 for refill on water.

Definitely a small mom and pop place but the breakfast sandwiches in the gas station are delicious.

You can smell the food and hear the cooks working from your seat. Which I absolutely love! It has very hometown vibe to it, and one of the best Patty Melts Ive had in a very long time. Definitely the place to go if youre a meat and potatoes kinda person.

Apart from waitstaff being very nice, there should be something done about social distancing on this diner. The place today was packed with people way over 70, yet nobody was wearing a mask. Instead of distancing they were sitting very close to each other. One lady behind me kept on coughing her guts out (turning away from her friend and coughing right in by back), and everyone seemed to be fine with it and shocked that I requested a different table.I was traveling from Chicago, and I tried to do my best to be good to people in Jamestown and wear a mask and use hand sanitizer, but people of Jamestown don’t want to be good to each other and people from out of town who move to other towns in ND. I know all the opinions that Covid-19 is a hoax or that it doesn’t come to ND or something for whatever reason, but I don’t care. If you are feeling unwell for any reason, Stay home!!! The staff needs to wear masks too! People’s lives are at stake.

I look forward to pulling into Jamestown for a weekend. A stop at the Jamestown Truck Plaza is a must! It has Hands down one of the best waitress’ in the state! I look forward to seeing seeing Ashley each and every time! Huge personality and always good food and lots of laughs!! It is a MUST! Best Patty Melt and amazing pancakes!

Always a great place to eat any time of day or evening. Have great rolls, soups, specials throughout the week. Place is often close to full, so Id say thats a sign that customers are returning often. The one problem Ive had is getting waited on & served in a timely manner. So if youre in a hurry, this is not the place to come.

Great Food and normally the service is great, but today the waitress had no personality. We went out of our way to thank her and perk her up but no response and made us feel like it was a real chore to provide service, would roll her eyes while taking our order and had to ask for refills. Hope she isnt there the next time as she was terrible and needs to find a job not in customer service.

First time up through, and stumbled onto S&R truck plaza. Nice place. Clean and friendly staff. Prices were really good, and the food is good with decent sized portions. Will stop in again if Im ever up this way.

Had breakfast. Ordered an omelette. Everywhere I have ever ordered an omelette including this restaurant, until today, it comes with two slices of toast. Today, just one. When I asked why only one, I was told that one slice of sourdough toast weighs the same as two slices of any other bread. Seriously? We sell toast by the pound, now? Pretty tight if you ask me. Otherwise, everything was fine. But I thought the toast issue was kinda cheap of them

They think that a person is going to steal their fuel this prepay is for the birds what the hell is the purpose of a credit card if you cant fill at the pump with it. I WILL AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Just passing through and needed to stop for a bite to eat. The food is DELICIOUS and the portions are big, worth the prices. However, that was the worst service Ive ever experienced! Everyone in there was absolutely RUDE! I dont recommend if youre looking to sit down and receive your stuff and the waitresses to be kind. Had to get up and chase them to get anything at all 👎👎

Evening wait staff is TERRIBLE! I went to have dinner with my friends. I got there after they did. Our waitress came up and asked if I wanted anything else besides water as I was holding the menu looking for what I would like to eat. I answered water is fine. I guess she took that as I didnt want to eat. She never came back to the table to take my order or to check anything else at the table. We were there from 5 to 7pm. Not once did she walk by to ask how we were or if we needed anything. Needless to say we were all very displeased and I gave my dinner business to elsewhere who cared I was there.

It was a wonderful experience and very friendly staff. The other guests were extremely friendly and great to talk with. I was told in a small town to the east to look for this cafe, I am happy I did. My wife and I will be back when we can.

Gas and diesel are competitively priced. Staff was friendly, plenty of parking, lots of products for trucking and long distance driving and North Dakota apparel. New renovations. Cafe/diner in the building but I didnt try it this trip.

Fun little stop on Mothers Day! All the shops open up memorial day through labor day, but one of the shops was open early! All real genuine leather stuff crafted right in North Dakota - very cool!

The service was incredible!! Drinks were refilled when they were half gone and we didnt wait any longer than 10 minutes for our food...and there were 8 of us!

I have to give it one star because you cant have a Truck Stop thats not open 24 hours a day.Thats not a truck stop by the very definition of the word..And apparently theyre opening hours are at their own whimWho gives ia hoot about the cafe tthis isnt 1955.

Showers were remodeled (nice), but not clean unfortunately, not impressed with restaurant either, people were nice and smiley but on the other hand waitress forgot my silverware and my order was wrong. They dont honor any roadys transactions. Nice size truck lot.

Our waitress with the big tattoo on her throat asked my boyfriend how his food was, didnt ask me, asked him if he wanted a refill on his drink when it was still almost full, didnt ask me, even tho my glass was sitting there completely empty. Cleared his dishes, not mine. What a way to keep it classy. Unbelievable. Guess its hard to find good workers now a days.

Scale is not accurate weight first time paid $7.50 which is cheep the gross was 80260 LBS moved exel Re-weight paid 5$ which is expensive the gross came down to 79580 LBSIt never happened before from a certified scale

They did a Fantastic job of remodeling the truck stop and Cafe. Nice place. Good food. Its good to support these kinda places where real people serve real food.

New waitresd. Very sweet. Good food. Hash browns were a little to done around the edges but I survived.

Good place to stop and fill up. Showers and interior have been remodeled and are very nice. Restaurant will give your arteries an extra coating of plaque.

Nice homestyle restaurant with good food. My husband and I stopped in for the Turkey dinner on Thanksgiving today. We are long haul truck drivers heading to Alaska. Glad we stopped to check it out.
