Dont go here. We had a storage upstairs and the elevator broke and us still broke. They didnt want ro accommodate us by allowing us more time. My husband and I nearly broke our backs trying to get our belongings down the stairs. They had the audacity to say elevators are not in the lease agreement. What in the world. Please consider before renting upstairs. Im considering more legal options due to the disrespectful of elevators not included in lease. Tricky tactics oh yeah they transferred the calls to avoid the complaints of the elevators being down wow.
The customer service is non existent. Further, when I rented a 10 Cargo van, I let the representative know I would be paying cash upon my return and not to use my credit card. She said no problem . That meaning, no problem for them; not me. They charged my card for $92.72 and took my cash. The total trip cost me $67.00. which was the cash that I paid. Because No One will EVER answer the phone, I had to drive 30 minutes back over there to be told by a new employee that my money would be returned in a few days. sic (after they had made some interest in the market.) So, essentially, I have been temporarily burgled. Dont rent from them unless you are only going to use your card. Also, the truck was in need of a new transmission. I didnt think I was going to get up the bridge. The cab reeked of cigarettes and the dolly I rented was not fastened in the van so It slammed into the front of the cab when I had to brake. Go somewhere else or pay your friend to use their truck...
I would not recommend this place to anyone. They put me in the wrong unit on their behalf and want me to pay a monthly total that I did not agree on. Called for assistance and he was very rude telling me to move out if I don’t like the price.
My units indoors where its supposed to be climate controlled but its always hot. Temperature gauge reads any where from 78 degrees to 80 on some days. No one ever answers the phones I always get sent to a call center like representative who arent helpful which causes me to have to drive up there when issues arise. They slap on late fees constantly with no call only sending letters to an address thats not mines so how would I know whats going on ?.
Worst customer service ever!!!! So wonder why they cant keep a manager. Ive been dealing with them and their antics for over two years.
I have only had my unit for two months. I initially was disturbed because the unit was not swept out and there were ants. They cleaned it right then and I was told the black box was to keep out rodents and ants. I was shocked to see mice/rat droppings all over my things when I returned. There was also a big gash in the wall that I pointed out upon getting the unit and was not repaired. I took pictures of everything. I contacted the staff immediately and they took my information and I was told a supervisor would call me. I received no such call. When I called to speak to a supervisor I was told I would have to pay an additional fee on top of the ~$80 I already spent to get a new unit! Please beware of RODENTS. Mice droppings actually cause hantavirus. I would not recommend anyone use Uhaul on 103rd.
Just stopped by to obtain a box for shipping. Gentlemen working the counter went above and beyond to help us. He engaged in friendly conversation while juggling multiple customers. Jessie you represent your company at the highest standard.
The people writing the bad reviews must have 1) been at another location 2) done something against the rules and didnt like the outcome 3) are just being hateful. Why? Because Ive dealt with U Haul in many cities for at least 30 years. There may have been a couple of rescheduling errors made in all those years, but overall I have been more than satisfied with U Haul trucks and service. They have always gone out of their way to help me.And the same is true of this location. In fact, this location is the BEST U Haul I have ever dealt with. I even told that to the district manager whose office is here. The entire staff is great. Customer service is great! The managers are Jesse and Samantha. They go above and beyond to help and work with the customer. The rest of the staff is the same.If you call the U Haul 800 number and they quote an incorrect rate this is not this locations fault. Ask to speak directly with this location for the correct rates. Sometimes these call centers have no idea whats going on at the locations...this is true of So Many businesses these days, not just this company.I have no affiliation whatsoever with U Haul other than being a long standing customer. And again, this location and its employees is really the best.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The staff was nice. The corporate equipment tracker sucks. I passed 3 stores with the same trailer to get the trailer I didnt want. Im not impressed.
I was fife minutes late. knoking on dooe. the guys still inside said they where closed I needed to pay tje monthly rent they say I have now to pay a late fee I said please rhete was an acvident on 295. they say comw tomorrow and so I did They wanted me to pay a late fee of 50 dlls or I cant go and open my storage. the boss is a M F with no education. is ok. hw will one day karma comes back and bitw you. buch of thief s with no morales. I will complain to headquaters sure they are more people conplainig. on the contrary the u haul in normandy. very nice employess is like nifhr and day rhe difference. 103rd. no good at ALL

My storage unit had a Uhaul lock on it, for no reason. I did expect to receive this kind of servicefrom a big, well known companty. This is poor and unsatisfactory judgment.I want this rectified.

They have climate controlled units,and are not highly priced for the space u get.
