They canceled our rental van because we were 30 min late. We had confirmed in every way imaginable. They didnt even call to tell us.We called corporate and they wasted our time saying they had gotten another one for us and gave us a phone number but apparently that was just to get off the phone with us. Which speaks to the culture of this business - ZERO customer service.They quoted this policy but they cant produce anything in writing regarding this policy. *DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY* WE NOW HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE AND THEY, INCLUDING CORPORATE, GIVE ZERO --.
Please dont use this company its bad enough how the staff treats people but the complete disregard... after making a reservation and confirming said reservations multiple times cancelled becuase I was exaclty 1 hour late. When I asked if I could please see this policy not one uhail representative seems to be able.to direct me towards anything. So thanks to uhail didnt go with an actual reputable company.100% will never be using uhaul again. Hung up on by 2 representatives thus far and still cant get a manager to call me

The lady working the evening of 10-2-2020 went out of her way to help me with an issue I was having with my truck. The ladies at the front counter on the morning of 10-3-2020 were very sweet and helpful. Great customer service, they got me out of there quickly so I could be on my way.
Very chill staff. Manager met me before opening so I could pick up my truck early in the morning. They helped me manage my online reservation cause I was confused as well. Thanks!
I reserved a truck and movers for Sunday. I had to cancel the movers and was told uhaul will handle me it but was told I would have to wait on a manager the next day. Its now Tuesday and the GM is now acting like she just finding out when I said something Sunday and Monday. She her self said she didnt know how to handle the refund when I could have been told this earlier. Instead she send me to the movers just so they can send me back to uhaul. Very unprofessional and more worried about how im speaking then getting the job done. Had to put both places on three way to get anything done.

My family and I traveled from San Antonio, TX to Jacksonville, FL, and rented a uhaul due to an unexpected death of a family member. We found a closer location and, with documented permission, we were allowed to drop the truck off to a different location. The very next morning, at 7:12 am, while on the road...still grieving...we received a telephone call from an irate lady shouting at us saying she is charging us double for returning the truck to a different location even though we were given permission to do so. I told the lady that we spoke with 1-800-UHAUL and got permission to which she stated, “...it is at MY DISCRETION! Bring the truck back or I am charging you double. I DON’T CARE WHO TOLD YOU DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT IS MY DECISION...”....This is even after I explained the entire situation emphasizing that we had permission to do so. The lady, unprofessional individual, failed to read the notes on the screen (she did not do any research - she just assumed and screamed at me through the phone). It was appalling customer service, and we paid cash. I recommend anyone BUT the Uhaul company located at 1651 W, Edgewood Ave. W, Jacksonville, FL. This lady’s actions on Saturday, June 20, 2020, caused me and my family emotional distress and anxiety.

Cedrick did a phenomenal job with assisting my mom, her husband, and me in our efforts to rent a U-Haul for a large move. He was exceedingly helpful, positive, thorough, and had a refreshing attitude for someone in this industry. It is easy for every customer to see the potential leadership and management qualities Cedrick embodies. I cannot thank him enough and he is a representative of U-Haul that other companies should be envious of.
Anytime I visit this location I’m here for 15+ min due to lack of employees in here ! Just to purchase 3 boxes I’ve been in this line 30 minutes s ridiculous. Uhaul makes more then enough money and expect way more out of this company .
Be prepared for a long wait and a whole lot of attitude. Was told a trailer hitch would take around three hours. Five hours later, still no call. Once I got there, all I needed to do was sign a doc and get my keys. That took 15 more minutes. This place cant handle more than one customer. Read the other reviews. Go elsewhere if you can.
Terrible service. Employees had an attitude and they will deny your service if they dont feel like it. Went to drop off a trailer and EVEN THOUGH the sign and website says anytime while theyre open, theyll take the trailer, but they will still deny taking your trailer because they are all lazy.
I only gave 1 star they don’t deserve that. Do not get a storage unit from this place they always have my unit blocked with trucks I can never get to my unit had to pay my movers for nothing. I am getting my things out ASAP. No 24 hours access because it’s always blocked.
After making a reservation and traveling over 1000 miles we get to storage facility to find out our reservation has been mysteriously canceled. Now they dont have a unit to hold all of our stuff. Now what, oh you can go across town and try another facility, just what we want to do after 2 days of traveling.
The worst! They keep raising the price saying that theyre going to add air conditioning to the units. Ive had 2 price increases and Ive only been there for a year. no units have been updated as of yet ...and I have mice in my unit... theres hardly ever any staff there to help.. if you try to make a payment online the website is always down.

Not enough staff. There was a line of about 7 people and only 1 employee able to run the cash register on a Friday morning. The poor young man was just helping at this location from another because this one was so understaffed. You would expect to see now hiring signs everywhere.
Got to the uhaul at 6pm on thursday. There was only 1 employee working. This makes mo sense what so ever. I dont know who manages the shifts but said person may want to be informed that helping customers who are picking up, dropping off, AND retrieving and parking the trucks and trailers along with refilling propane is more than a one person job. I hope i dont have to go through this same thing tomorrow when i bring yhe trailer back.
Service is slow, prices are reasonable and units are clean.
They were rude and demanded that we had a local ID to pick up our vehicle. I felt that it was a personal attack on me and my spouse because we are an interracial couple.
Customer service here is awful. I had an issue with my UBox and they told me it was my movers and I needed to fix it. They let a broken unit leave there facility and blamed the customer. Called trying to figure out what the delay was and they continued to yell.
