For better or worse others experiences may vary.... arrived without an appointment on a weekday as they were opening at 7am. Was told it would be about an hour wait to start work on my car due to scheduled appointments. I was out after 1 hour 45 minutes. The staff was mostly courteous and accommodating. There is a nice sized wait room with space to social distance. Wait room included work space and outlets at the chairs. All questions were answered satisfactorily. I will probably return for the same quick lane service (oil change/rotation/inspection $70) in the future. I would probably make an appointment and find a coupon next time.

Brought in old faithful for a service and got what I expected... Fast, friendly service at a good price. Received recommendations for upcoming needs without the pressure to buy today. Found my dealer!

Customer service is the most important aspect to me when conducting business. The Service Department has thoroughly impressed and satisfied me today. Bri is an excellent Service Advisor and she should be commended. I was a walk-in and she had me out the door in about an hour and a half only, as promised. That was for an oil change, a cabin filter replacement, and a car wash / vacuum. She was courteous, knowledgeable, and had a very pleasant way about her. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

She made me feel like I was her top priority even though I know how busy she was.I like most people probably fear going to the service department like going to the dentist....you are always afraid of the outcome. The team at Duval Ford made the process simple and painless. They handled my issue via my warranty and service contract will be deleted after no added costs.Even more, the provided up to date progress reports, worked quickly and provided concierge level service to accomodate me while they performed the needed service.

Very professional and clean facility. I pulled up to the service side and they were quick to check me in. Inside was very clean and well decorated. The waiting room/lounge is very nice and comfortable. Outlets for charging, coffee station, water and a vending machine. Seats were comfortable. Very relaxing time for what it is. I went to the dealership after work and the salesman was very patient because I test drove at least 5 trucks that night. The salesman would wait till I returned and I would tell him that I wanted to test drive another one. The salesman would go find the keys and walk all the way out to the lot to pull the next truck up. After I picked the vehicle, the negotiations were very easy with no frustrations. Since it was already closing time, the dealer went ahead and let me take the vehicle home. This is what buying is supposed to be like at a dealership.

Really good experience, they have a huge variety and better deals than the other dealerships in town. The seals men Donal, was very helpful and nice, they didnt try to scam or pressure me to buy. Very recommended and I am definitely coming back to get a mustang

I went to Duval Ford for a part before I got there I had went to about five or six Auto places for the particular part I need it just before I start thinking that I was crazy when I went to the Ford place with this part of my Crown Victoria he said yes maam we do have I almost fainted because everyone tried to tell me that that part did not exist the way it looked, the gentleman that helped me was a white man I did not get his name he had a salt and pepper beard more gray than Pepper and he was very nice he gave me a printout and he let me look at the picture of this part that let me know I was not crazy and although I did not get the part from Ford I use the part number to make a reference to any other parts place I went to and lo and behold they found it using the part number so thank you Duval Ford on Cassat Avenue for all of your help especially the gentleman I didnt get his name but thank you again

Probably the best customer service I have had in my 45 years of vehicle ownership. My wife and I are new to the Jacksonville, FL area and were looking for a new Ford “home” service center. Duval Ford attracted us because of their excellent customer reviews. My initial experience for routine maintenance was less than satisfactory but to my great surprise and pleasure, the Service Manager herself, Ms. Sheila McFarland, reached out to me and asked for a chance to make things right. Well, she did that and then some! Truly “beyond the call of duty” with her extra efforts and pleasant and professional demeanor. Sean, my service advisor, was/is also excellent. As I told Sheila, Duval’s customer service was a much-needed breath of fresh air in our troubled world. Duval has most definitely earned my loyalty and admiration, and I highly recommend their service department to everyone.

Had some major issues come up with my car that became a dangerous and scary issue, Duval Ford was quick to assist me once the issues were addressed to them and kept in close contact with me in regards to the process and assistance. Other than having to take our truck in three times for the air conditioner problem the third time was the charm. They gave me a rental car and took the time to diagnose the problem. I took my Class A RV on a Ford chassis into Duval Ford for a basic recall and also had the oil changed while I was there. Whit Land was my service advisor, he was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He totally understood my needs and had my motorhome completed ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Duval Ford for your Class A RV service.

I’m leaving this review on behalf of my parents who purchased a “Certified Used” vehicle from Duval Ford on 09/21/2019. Though I did not purchase the vehicle myself, I directly experienced some of the events as follows. After leaving the lot with the car and stopping to gas up for the first time my dad noticed that all 4 tires were completely different; different manufacturers and different tread. Upon this discovery he immediately brought the vehicle back to Duval Ford to address the issue. The dealer told my dad to bring the car back in a few days to replace the tires. Before he could even get the car in to put the correct tires on another problem arose. This time the battery was dead and subsequently the doors could not be opened. Duval Ford was contacted and they sent a tech to open the vehicle and jump the battery. The tech did not test the battery or attempt to troubleshoot the issue. The car was brought back to the dealer for the new tires a day or so later and returned to us. Within the week the battery died again. This time we insisted that the dealer test the battery to ensure it could hold a charge. Duval Ford supposedly conducted this test and maintained that the battery was in good working order. Being skeptical of Duval Ford’s integrity and workmanship, my father took the car to an independent auto shop to test the battery again. This test revealed that the battery was not charging correctly. The battery was replaced at this time and the problem no longer persisted. At this point there were no other major issues to note, but then as of today we find another major problem. My father took the car to a local Walmart to perform a regular rotation and balance on the tires (the tires that Duval Ford installed after having sold a car with 4 different ones). After dropping the car off we received a call from Walmart saying the rotation and balance could not be completed because all 4 tires are mounted backwards. Yes, all 4 tires are mounted with the inside of the tires facing outward. This not only prematurely wears your tires but is also very unsafe. This is the workmanship of Duval Ford. I can speculate that this kind of work was either done out of spite in light of the fact that my father came to expect a certain standard that was not met my Duval Ford, or that the service department is incompetent. Both are unacceptable when it comes to sales and service in the auto industry. Our hope is that sharing experience will provide insight to future buyers and those in need of any kind of auto service in the Jacksonville area. Hopefully our experience will lead Duval Ford to hold itself accountable to its customers. Be mindful where you shop, and inspect what you buy. Some places are simply not providing quality sales and service.

I contacted the dealer the next morning.From start to finish, our sales person Juan, earned 10 stars! He did a perfect job! Followed all of the proper procedures, asked all the right questions, and made everything as easy as it can be! You can tell he is experienced, and that he is a top producer. My car is currently gettig serviced for an upcoming trip out of state. My wonderful Ford service lady left the Ford Dealer she was working for and is now with Duval Ford. As a woman not knowing anything about cars, I have worked with her recommendations for my maintenance on my cars for almost 14 years and I have followed her to her new location (even though it is too far for me to travel after recent surgery). Good news, she said they can pick up my car for service and return it to me, I know my service will be exceptional as usual!

Requested information on a 2017 F250 that was on the lot, received a call back from a very rude individual. I asked about their asking price and wanted to know why it was so much above the KBB. I was told the price was the going market price, when I asked about negotiating he stated that they havent negotiatiated in 40 years.... oh really??!!Take your truck with 257,000 miles and stick it.

All the time prior I dropped off my vehicle and then picked it up later, at a time of my choosing. It has always been ready each time i arrived .Yesterday, I was impatient and i shouldnt have been . Worst customer experience ever. I took one of my trucks to the service department to address a wheel bearing issue. I took it back three times with issue still unresolved. What I ended up with was a couple thousand dollars in parts and service that were unnecessarily tended to and got my truck back with more issues than I took it in with. Definitely some unethical tactics going on. The last time I picked my truck up they had unplugged every speaker in my truck and my back windows. There was absolutely no work being done that called for the back door panels to be pulled off for the windows or speakers to be unplugged so this could not have been unintentional. If you take your vehicle here and they don’t resolve your issue, I would suggest to just keep forking out cash, hand over fist until it’s fixed because if it’s addressed with them they will just create more issues with your vehicle to keep you coming back. I finally gave up and took my truck to another local dealership and they not only corrected everything Duval Ford’s service department did, but also fixed my original issue on the first visit. It was also half the cost of what Duval Ford was asking, monetarily, after what my warranty covered. I would never recommend this place for sales or service.

They work on all makes of Trucks, including our Chevy! They include a free wash and vaccum, will top off the DEF fluid, has a nice waiting area, and the Fast Lane does not require an appointment. Great experience after going to Nimnichit Chevy.

I brought my 2021 F-150 in to get a bed cover on my truck and Richard Jordan I’m pretty sure he is in charge of service him and Sean were so helpful . I even ended up getting a 6 inch lift kit on my truck . I will definitely be back you do not get this type of service at the other Ford dealers in town they really do go above and beyond for the customer . I really did feel like I was Sean”s first priority they even finished my truck early . I will definitely be back and recommending my friends

Ok- call me crazy. But there is something to be said about bathrooms. Here for an oil change, and emergency lady bathroom trip. Holy WOW! Customer service is priority here. I’d pay $100 for an oil change if that was the price for the maintenance of this place (it was only $40). I’m sure I could eat anywhere in this bathroom if I had to. Looks clean- smells clean- I’m flabbergasted.Yes it’s weird- but it’s an under appreciated point of human need. And I appreciate the cleanliness!

If you like unreliable service, sitting for hours at a time with no communication from staff members, haggling about your factory warranty, and having to repeat all of these things for almost every service appointment, then Duval Ford is the place for you.I purchased a CPO Ford Escape in 2018. Rarely did An oil change go smoothly or in less than an hour. And it’s been one issue after another. I had to argue with the service department four times to get a leak in my roof fixed. Now, mind you, this was when my 3/36,000 warranty was active. My AC had to be repaired in July 2020. And here I am 8 months later with the same AC issues. Now they are quoting me just under $2,300 to fix it.The service department is an absolute disaster. You could have a great sales experience, but service visits, whether for maintenance or repairs, will leave you feeling regretful of purchasing from them.

The advisors answered the phone, got back to me in a timely manner, and - most importantly - the techs completed the work early and well! They earned my business.

Sorry to put one star but I came to your dealer for the first time for an oil change and I asked for a tire to be checked because of low pressure. The service guy told me that the work on tire was done and he was a free repair. Driving back home I found out that nothing was done and the tire pressure was the same as I left it.

First visit to Duval Ford. Vehicle went in for known recalls and another diagnostic issue. Dropped vehicle off at 7am. Come 5pm still no call from service so I called them. Service advisor said he called all day and left 4 voicemails. I had calls and voicemails from other people no problem that day. I then asked if he was dialing the wrong zip code as mine is not 904. He said no but Im pretty sure thats where the issue was. When I went to pick up my vehicle, my advisor was not there, another gentleman helped me, nothing was said about the recalls so I had to ask. I guess the recall wont be able to get done until parts come in from Ford. A filter was changed out without my consent but I also knew it needed to be changed at my next oil change which was due. I wish they wouldve asked me at the 5pm call if I wouldve liked my oil change done that day because I wouldve been all for it. I also wouldve gave more business as I needed a fuel service/cleaning as well. I ended up

For warranty work take your vehicle to Autonation Ford, or Coggin Ford, or maybe Bozard Ford, Duval Ford does not care about warranty work.

This place has so many choices and they have no problem showing you around to every single option on the lot. They never rush the car buying experience and make it so person and fun. I just bought my new car about a month ago from them and Dennis helped me out. He was so nice and so patient throughout the whole experience ! If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I had a horrible experience at a different Jacksonville Ford dealership yesterday, so today I arrived at this location right when they opened to resolve a serious issue with my vehicle. I expected this experience to be TOTALLY DIFFERENT, as this is actually the dealership I bought my vehicle from. I explained what happened at the Ford dealership across town to the service tech I was assigned to, after waiting for the Manager for over an hour and then being told she was at a meeting until the afternoon. After coming from another dealership across town because I was given the wrong diagnosis, I expected this location to at least lift the hood and examine the vehicle, instead he told me they might or might not be able to look at my car today, but maybe tomorrow. I thought that response was odd because I was able to book a service appointment for many different time slots today AND tomorrow through their website. I told him this, and he proceeded to tell me You can book appointments until the cows come home, but that doesnt mean we will look at the vehicle. I left without my car being serviced at all, because I decided if it was not under warranty anyways, why deal with the absolutely AWFUL service? After my experience with TWO different Ford dealerships back to back in Jacksonville, I will never bring my vehicle there again for service.Update: Reputable independent repair shop told me my battery is leaking acid, and my motor mount is damaged and needs to be replaced. They had never seen this before, and thought it was very unusual that this is happening at just 56k miles...

Sub par service. Been in talks with this dealership for a few weeks because I was interested in a new vehicle they had in stock. Went through 5 different sales personal and had to practically beg to get them to give me a price. Finally went to proceed with the sale and it took them almost 2 hours to just appraise my trade, while me and my family waited wondering around outside and inside because we werent sure where to wait for the sales person, just to have the sales person then take us to his truck in the parking lot where cars are driving by to discuss what thier offer was. No desk, no chairs, no comfort. Not sure how they expect me to spend thousands of dollars to them with this kind of service. Not only did it take long but they severely undervalued my vehicle and wasted my time in the end. I would not recommend this dealership. There are many more here in Jacksonville that actually care about potential customers.And for any representative for Duval Ford who might respond to this review please dont ask me to call some one to resolve this issue. I had a scheduled appointment to get my car serviced. On my way there to Duval Ford my windshield got cracked going there from a gravel truck. Lee & Kates glass repair was there also and did a fantastic job. Plus the awesome service on my car was completed too.

They gave spot on pricing estimates and more for less than coggin wanted me to pay for just half the work they did. Ask for Gabe in the service department, he did a great job getting what I wanted done for a fair price and helped get me a loaner vehicle for the day while work was being performed.

The only reason I am giving them a 4 is because of someone I spoke with named Lisa. I had a 6p appointment (they close at 7p) to have the oil changed and was going to be about 5-10 minutes late due to traffic. I called about 6p to let them know what was happening. I was a little rudely told to get there soon. At about 6:09p, after I parked in Fords driveway and was walking to the doors, I listened to a voicemail from Lisa telling me she talked to the guys in the back and they told her to tell me to make another appointment and come back another day. (I live an hour from this location and in 18 years of living in North Florida, I had never been in this past of town.) I walked through the doors with an attitude and shared what happened with the young lady that approached me. The first words out of her mouth was an apology and what did I need done to my vehicle. The young lady, a young man and an older man that took care of me and whoever in the back that took care of my vehicle are the ones who made this trip a 5. Lisa alone is the one who dropped my experience to a 4.

I made an appointment to test drive a truck. When I arrived they did not have any record of me scheduling a test drive. Then when they went to pull the truck up front, they found out they had given out as a loaner car and wouldnt be back until tomorrow. Thats why I made the appointment.

I am very impressed. From the time I called to inquire about them servicing my vehicle to the time I arrived and they assessed my vehicle it has been a great experience. There were plenty of people on site to help me and make me feel welcome and appreciated. The exterior of the building is kept up. The interior space is great. Highly recommended.

Im revising this review from a 1 to a 4 because Sheila did a great job of handling my issues when I went there in person today after not being able to get updates. Most importantly she didnt make excuses and owned the problem which shows a lot of integrity and ultimately they lived up to their promises, did a great job and I will be back. Very Bad, they would not honor the recall as said unless 1 spent $2100.00 for a pump and electronic part.Now we a thinking of going to Lake City for our next car.You would think that owning a car with 187,000 miles on it they would work harder to honer the letter Ford sent us and steer us professionally toward our next purchase.Dave should have directed me to the sales manager to pick out a new truck or SUV. The funny thing is that grandpa Carter worked for Henry Ford twice. (WW II) Building Bombers and helped redesign the assembly line to build 3 planes a day. Our son just bought a F-150 and we had 18 to 20 Fords in the family since grandpa Harold joined the family.I guess they want me to buy a Toyota. Inform Pittsburgh and have only bought American cars since 1997.????????
