Rude staff. Eric talked about his management, years in the business and experience, however, sits before my husband and me and tried to charge us an administrative documentation fee when we were paying cash for the jeep! This is not only ILLEGAL in the State of North Carolina, it shows his narcissism and “years”in the car industry has taught him nothing. The poor young guy sitting beside me was on speaker phone per his salesperson as the customer service rep divulged personal information about his finances that would have been most appropriate in an office setting or certainly not on speaker right next to the desk of another couple!

Nothing I hate Worse than someone wasting my time. Grant advertised a shed I was interested in. My husband messaged the fb ad. Grant said it was available to look at and gave address. My husband and I jumped in our car drove 30 minutes just to be told shed was sold 2 days ago and that Grant was unavailable to speak with us. Total Waste of our time. Lying BS is Not Appreciated! Needless to say we wont be back or recommend.

After having purchased two vehicles and referring my sister to JAG; I personally take a close friend of the family (new to North Carolina) to buy a car. He did not finance his car. He paid $13,633.09 Certified Check / Cashier Check from Navy Federal Credit Union! That is considered cash! Their car is paid off without a lienholder. Perfect Deal for Mr Jones.After only 5 weeks on his way to work his night shift 45 minutes away he breaks down. The over priced warranty Eric sold him did not show with a tow truck nor rental after 2 hours. Thankfully, he was able to reach an emergency contact that late into the night.Dispatch assured his the tow truck and driver, Charlie, would be there between 0800-0900 the following morning. ( 26July2021). No one showed to tow the car until 4:00pm that evening. Both Mike Jones (owners son and management) and Salesman Eric were completely made aware. Asked for help and refused assistance. Eric couldnt even tell me if my mother had her wonderful people at Smiths auto come tow it, if the warranty would cover it. After all, we had been in 90 plus degree heat and waiting for 6 hours by this point.Upon receiving his vehicle back yesterday, Sanders Fords Service Manager informed him that his two front tires are at 2/32 and 1/32 wear and shows metal and exposes the wear bar. His brake pads were also worn down to 3 mm! Please keep in mind we have in our hand a signed inspection that was signed by a Licensed Inspector, passing this car at 100 percent. IMPOSSIBLE!!!Today, July 30, 2021, we went to JOG and spoke with our salesman Eric. I explained the situation respectfully and simply asked if either the man who signed off on the inspections or Mr. Jones / the dealership would pay for the tires and brakes due to the inspection having not been properly done on his car. I didnt ask for his loss of pay for the time he missed work from not having transportation (his vehicle) due to their inability to ensure proper delivery of this service was performed on the car.Mr. Jones and Eric said we will absolutely not pay for brakes or tires. The inspection was done correctly. I showed him the detailed analysis from Sanders Fords Service Department and he repeated, we will not be paying for brakes or tires.Wow. I certainly hope anyone else will be sure to take ANY and EVERY vehicle you purchase for a thorough inspection and request a CARFAX!

Eric is NOT an honest man. When asked if any issues were to arise within the warranty time frame, were they covered… He said YES! He did not say… except this or that. Not even a week and there are already issues that were obviously already problematic before we got the car. BUT… the one thing that burns me up more than being lied directly to my face…. is a LIAR playing the Christian card to gain the customers trust.!

A young man close to our family purchased a 2016 vehicle 5 weeks ago that broke down 2 nights ago while on way to work. Thankfully he purchased the overpriced warranty on vehicle. Wty company was supposed to have tow truck pick up car yesterday between 8am and 9am. Young man was at site waiting until 4 pm for tow truck. Reached out to Mike for assistance with none offered. Repair shop found wires showing in front tires while diagnosing problem with other safety issues which were overlooked when the NC inspection was performed before final release of vehicle. Breakdown could have been prevented had vehicle had prior delivery maintenance performed. Not recommended purchasing from this dealer without having vehicle checked over thoroughly prior to signing paperwork.

Eric and his boss give me a run around about sending me my tags.... Now its pass the date the tags expired.. I still getting the no tags... Do not buy from them.... They are full of it... Now I Im calling a lawyer....They keep lieing again about shipping my tages....3times already...

EDIT: At first we were happy with purchase. The very next day the check engine light came on, there was an emissions leak and we went to get it fixed but couldn’t because all of the screws for the gas tank were stripped. We also discovered that the whole underneath of the truck had been rhino lined to cover all of the rust that was there. Everything is rusted. The brakes are absolutely destroyed and parts of the brakes falling off due to the rust. The door locks don’t work sometimes and we can’t find out why.Eric Campfield is hands down the best car salesman I have ever interacted with. My husband bought a 2008 Chevy Silverado from him and was BEYOND happy with the deal, and the service we got while there. Eric was very up front and courteous the whole time. I want everyone to know not to have no dealing wth jones automotive my son bought a truck from them the very next day the alternator went out on the truck and he had to carry it back to them. They told him that he would not replace the alternator. So just let everyone know not to buy anything from this place because something might mess up when you leave such as motor or whatever they will not fix it so just put that out here.

Quick to sell. We agreed to two items to be fixed after purchase. I had to keep contacting them to get it fixed and they only fixed one item. Car has broken down twice now. Lemon by all means of the word. They are only quick to communicate if you are purchasing, otherwise they don’t want to hear from you.

I purchased a 2014 Mercedes Benz C250 from Jones automotive in Jacksonville North Carolina . The service was decent I think, but when buying car notice the brake indicator light was on the car, had the car for 2 days carried back to Jones automotive, the owner tried to explained to me that the car had been inspected etc... he was even willing to come out side and reset the light ! (Reminding you the car is showing it’s a problem brake indicator light ) Now when buying the car according to him nothing was wrong there was a complete inspection of the car, 4 day carried to Blacktire in Jacksonville NC a complete inspection of brakes . The Blacktire technician called me and began to show me the issues $350.00 . So please if you buy a car from these guys, carry to technician, and pay attention to detail ! A great Business make happy customer and you multiply more customer !
