I happened to be at a neighboring shop and stopped by for my son. Just our luck that it was Free Comic Book Day and the store was busy, yet the owner and staff made the effort to greet everyone coming into the store and are so nice, friendly and helpful. They were even so kind to give out free pizza! I didnt have enough time to browse and look at everything, but will definitely be coming again!

Best comic shop Ive ever been to in my life. Ben who is the owner has a great personality and is very inviting. He is very knowledgeable on the books and he even recommended a story for me to read. His recommendation did not disappoint. He definitely earned a lifelong customer in me. His companion Pacer is pretty amazing as well!

Been a long time since I had been in a comic book store and Gotham City Limit did not lack in anything. Great selection of comics. Wonderful selection of figurines. Two pinball machines in the back with a PacMan cabinet as well. However, the coolest thing was something that really brought me back, they had a shop dog that greeted you when you walked in. Gotham City Limit is amazing.

The is the best place in northeast Florida for new issues, exclusive variants, graphic novels, cgc graded key issues at the best price. The owner and employeess all are professionals you can tell they been in comics since they could read. They got everything and more. Customer service is true southern hospitality. Wait till you meet the shops dog. Enough said.

This is a locally owned family run comic book shop with a great selection of comics and games as well as toys, statues and high end collectibles. A nice display of reaction figures and assorted pop culture toys that include some rare imports and model kits. I was impressed with the range of items that also includes D&D figures and accessories. The selection changes constantly and you never know what you will find. Benjamin the owner is a stand up guy and likes to wheel and deal, providing exceptional service with a great attitude and a smile!The prices are more than reasonable and I Ieft with a wonderful compendium of The Spectre and an interesting Vampirella action figure that is seemless rubber with a metal skeleton!Fantastic Place

A shop a little on the small side but big on charm and helpful service. Large variety of inventory. Bought a single issue comic but would love to return when Im in town again. They had a promotion of a percentage off a lot of books/comics when I went. Check them out and give them some business!

Its been 10 years since I bought a comic and am I happy my first issue back was from Ben (the owner). This man has the knowledge and the attitude every comic shop should have. Super friendly, greeted every time with a huge smile. If youre stuck, Ben will help guide you. Huge selection, and oddly enough, very nice floors lol. Great shop. I have tiptoed back into comics after 25 years away. I swear Ben reads every comic that comes in and can speak knowledgeably about all of them. I explained what I like and he’s been able to recommend new comics that I now love as well. They also have lots of collectibles and merchandise. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. You couldnt ask for a better place to get your weekly comics than Gotham. Small businesses are about relationships and the comic industry specifically is also about community. Ben, Gotham Cities owner, is all about the community and brings an energy and excitement that is sorely needed to keep this hobby healthy. He has my business until the end.

Ben is an amazing person. After being slighted by Coliseum comics in Riverside, I came here uncertain about the treatment I would receive. Within 15 seconds of walking through the front door, I BREATHED a sigh of relief. Hes the most outgoing and friendly comic shop owner I have ever met in my LIFE. Trust me, hes gonna try to accomodate you no matter the circumstances. The selection was nearly endless. The man runs a tight joint for certain. I hope hes still in business 80 years from now. These guys are great! The best comic shop on the Southside of Jax.Ben is a great dude. He had been pulling a limited run of a comic since December 2019 for me and the last issue came out right at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. He called me in May to let me know that they’d reopened and he had my issues. I usually work right next to them and could pick it up on the way home, but I’ve been working from home since March and haven’t been that direction in months. I figured he’d just put them out to be sold and I’d miss out.I got another call in AUGUST and he was still holding them for me. I came out the very next day. That is real dedication to their customers and I love to see that!

Shop had a great price on convention exclusive pops and Ben, the owner, is a great guy. Very knowledgeable on the product and you can tell he is passionate about the craft. He is the the type of guy you want to see running a place like this. Shop is beautiful with mural, standees, statues, and collectibles and comics everywhere. This place was awesome. I was visiting the area and my sister in-law insisted that we needed to check it out. Absolutely worth the time! The owner is friendly and highly knowledgeable. Comic stores can sometimes be a bit a tough place for new folks as cliques can develop. Not so here, there were a number of obviously regular customers in the store who were friendly and as helpful as the owner.If youre local to Jacksonville and are looking for a fantastic place to go and collect comics, games, and related merchandise, this is absolutely the place. I left after this one visit feeling like a regular.

I LOVE this comic book shop. The new owner Ben is awesome. You can tell her really knows his stuff and cares about the products he has in his store. My 2.5 year old loves the little kids section he has as well. The whole layout is great and all the extra details he has in there is really awesome. I recently bought some Joker yoga pants and LOVE them. Really cool merch. Very happy with the products.
