Superior automotive and transmission in Jacksonville is family owned business and they are honest and straight with you the second you walk through the door and the only place I’ll bring my car. Donavon Hall is a great mechanic!!! One of my favorite things about this mechanic shop is how supportive they are to other small businesses and how much they care about there employees. Every Friday for lunch they order a bunch of food from a small business for there employees and set it up in the lobby to help promote the small businesses. Great ppl

Same as lady below. I dropped my car off to get a new transmission clutch kit installed and for 2 weeks straight they gave me the run around. Told me they had been working on it and it would be ready in a few days. A few days went by and they told me they would get to it after I had called. A few more days go by and it was the same excuse. Eventually I went and had car towed to another shop. They did not touch the car at all or even pulled it in their shop. They are liars very pour service and unprofessional. The lady at front desk was very nice though! Sorry business!!!! I would never recommend anybody coming here!! Even tow company said the same as well!

I cant say too much about their work since I didnt get anything done. But, I can say that their customer service and professionalism was awesome! The lady at the front desk was nice and understanding about my work schedule; they were being as flexible as they could to get me seen ASAP. When I got there an older man with a grey beard looked at my car, he drove it around to test the transmission. He assured me that it wasnt as big of a deal as I was making it out to seem and suggested I take other actions instead because he really didnt believe it was a transmission issue. He guided me on what to do instead and warned me to be careful as a young woman trying to get my car fixed because theres a lot of sharks out there that are wanting to disregard me quickly when asking about my car issues. I really appreciate his advice and will be doing some research on my vehicle, would definitely return if I need services done in the future. Only thing I wish they did was maybe lift the car and psychically hands on check the transmission but I trust the man when he says hes worked on cars for years and believes it isnt a transmission issue. They even fix A/C issues! For sure coming back to get that done another time.

People were nice. I had to reach out to get updates. They always said they would call and never did. I had to pickup my vehicle with it not fixed because they couldnt figure out what was wrong.

I felt led to leave a review for Superior Transmission even though I havent actually had the work done yet. I mainly wanted to comment on the customer service I received over the phone. A lady, Charla, answered the phone and educated me on what I would likely be facing to replace my transmission. I never felt rushed and she answered all of my questions. Based on Charlas replies, I am very confident that these guys are the right choice for having a transmission rebuilt/installed, and I would recommend them to anyone that is having transmission problems in central Arkansas.

I havent picked up my truck yet, so I cant brag on the work. But I can brag on how comfortable these folks make me feel about working on my truck...very friendly, very understanding, and above and beyond expectation.

These guys did the transmission in my 2006 ss impala best price around and best turn around time. I had my car back the next day ive been driving it for a year now and havent had any problems with it.

This shop is awesome not only did they quote me 500 dollars cheaper than other shops they went the extra mile and replaced bad parts along with my clutch without upcharging the labor costs. I had a 4l80e built for my 72 Camaro. Works flawlessly even with my abuse. Then had a 4l65 rebuilt for my 72 C10 and I’m happy with it, so happy that I’m now building a 94 S10 Blazer with a Supercharged 5.3l and 4l65. No question on who I’m taking this transmission to!!! They are great and stand by their work.

Great shop. Im in the Army and they saved me when I was stranded 500 miles from home when the tranfer case went out in my Bronco. They where able to fix it quickly while I waited and went out of there way to get the parts as quickly as they could and get me home. I really appreciated it and would reccomend them to anyone.

This is a Great Group of People!! I was Introduced to the company a few years back for a Cam swap & Longtubes in a LS silverado. They did an amazing job!! They did so good of a job when my Transmission went out they pulled the old 4L60e out and built a 4l80e for it. The Swap was very Clean!! So clean it Looks like it came from the Factory with the bigger Transmission!! They Treat you like Family and show care and concern when servicing there customers cars. These guys will get you in and out within a timely manner. Stuff Does Happen Like Waiting on Parts! Thats Parts of it. You cant fix the problem without the right Parts and unfortunately the Day and age we are in people tend to forget that. They want everything right now and dont want to compromise within reason . At the end of the day I trust all my cars and trucks with this company and recommend all my Friends and family. I have a saying when you Do Business with the Best it skips the Headaces of the rest!!

Gave them my key. They lost my key and told my parents and I that they will replace the key. Talked them today and Donnie said he is not replacing the key. The first time I had a Saturn Vue transmission rebuild and they did a great job. This time they left me with a key that is jammed in the ignition but somehow its starting. Im 100 percent sure this is not my key. This time the Dodge Durango I own was decent work. Would refer to someone but will tell them about the key issue being my only claim. Im not going to deny Donnie transskills

I thank God for these folks, my 4x4 GMC pick up had a bad transmission and a bad transfer case solenoid, as well as many oil leaks. I was on the verg of selling old truck for parts. They repaired all problems for less than 50% what others were going to charge. I am a mechanic myself and understand things come up while servicing someones equipment that was abused and lacked proper maintenance. Then we expect it not to cost us and be done quickly. I again thank God for allowing me a wonderful 3 day experience dealing with Supeior Transmission kind and knowledgable staff. I feel so good about their service i was compel to testify in my church about God goodness, also tell my friends and make this post. Lastly, this is a warm Mom an Pop operation, maybe they dont do everything the way the big companys do, they dont charge you for whatever they charge you for, they gave me a junker truck back that i am proud of, and feel i can get a another 300.00 miles. They suck. 1.) had my vehicle for over a month 2.) overcharged me 3.) left multiple things outta place 4.) reused my old transmission fluid in a brand new transmission 5.) my trans almost blew if I didnt realize all of this.

I had used them before and had good service so when my husbands work truck started acting up we took it here .our service this time was just awful.we picked it up the first time and it had the same issue it had when we dropped it off .took it back another wk later picked it up again and it wouldnt go into reverse so took it back again for the third time .we were told it wasnt the transmission after all it was the computer that they would order it and replace for an additional fee of 675 dollars.. we said ok go ahead and do it cause its myhusbands only work truck and he had already been out 2 wks of work due to the truck not being fixed.Well they get the part installed it and the truck wouldnt even start so we told them pput the old one back in and get it ready for us to pick up .we then took it to budget transmission were metal shavings were found in the transmission coming from a part they did not replace either time they tore into the transmission. they have refused so far to refund our money.. we will never use them again..
