Sue was by far the most helpful person Ive talked to out of the 4 stores I shopped. She not only helped me find the perfect flooring, but called multiple distributors on the spot to see when I could receive the floors to fit my timeline. I highly recommend this store, not only for the wonderful service, but great selection and prices that beat other stores too!

The red head at the front desk never spoke or looked up when we walked in today.She got the floor manager, Heather Dunigan, who was rude and extremely unprofessional. We did our entire addition, kitchen, Master Bath, 2 bedrooms and closet with the Kitchen Shop. No more bisiness

Andy from the Jackson store was our salesman for a complete bathroom remodel. Andy is very knowledgeable in the process and helpful in explaining all the options. As with any remodel, there were a few issues during the installation; however, Andy quickly responded and addressed each issue. For the next remodel, I would work with Andy and the Kitchen shop again.

The Kitchen Shop did a great job working with us to select the right kitchen appliances. Highly recommended.

LOVED everything about this store. Andy took us under his wing; he guided us from the selection of cabinets to coordinating the floor and counters. The delivery was on time and the cabinets were in perfect shape. I would highly recommend them for your new home or remodeling project.

Cant give this business 0 stars so they get 1. I went in looking for kitchen cabinets, no one spoke to me the entire time I was in their shop, I was there looking around for at least 20 minutes and there were staff standing around chatting.

I needed parts, the first time in 15 years, for a complete kitchen they installed. They didnt have the parts but sent me to the place they buy from with no mark-up added. Super nice to work with.

I am certain that this business does create beautiful kitchen remodeling... their showrooms were inspiring and lovely! The issue that my husband and I had was with the staff and their service, or should I say, lack of service. We went in twice, even took our blueprints of our home. We never received a phone call, text, letter, etc. .... never. At my husbands objections, we went in a third time.. I wanted to give it another try. My husband told the receptionist at the front desk how disappointed we were with the lack of common courtesy shown to us. She went back to whomever, came back to her desk, and said that someone would be with us shortly. We waited, then began walking around the showrooms. As I said before, they were beautiful! So we walked and waited.. and waited.. and waited.. one woman approached us and said she would be a few minutes. Another woman walked right in front of me holding her cup of coffee. Never said a word. We waited. The woman never returned to us! We walked to the front door, and as we were walking out, my husband told the receptionist that he has never been treated like that, and that it is sad that some businesses do treat customers that way. I said that the Kitchen Shop just lost a good customer. We will never go back.

Explanation price

We have remodeled 2 bathrooms in the last 2 years. We found our sales person, Andy, to be very professional and knowledgeable. He offered options and ideas that we would never have thought of if we had just bought fixtures and cabinets from the big box stores. For bath #1 the fixtures arrived a month before we were ready to install. When we opened the box for the toilet, it was damaged. We contacted Andy and he stopped what he was doing to immediately drive 35 miles to bring a replacement.

My husband and I stopped in the Jackson location a few days after Christmas to inquire about remodeling our kitchen. We spoke with Andy and he suggested the first step in the process should be a visit to our house to see what the floor plan is and what we are looking for. We set up an appointment for the next week. We were so excited to finally our kitchen project in motion. We patiently waited for Andy to arrive at our house the day of the appointment .... but he NEVER showed or called to reschedule. Needless to say we will NOT be doing business with the Kitchen Shop! Think again before you commit to do business with them, customer service is non-existent.

I am very disappointed with the service I received. The staff was helpful before making the sale and after the sale was made, the customer service was horrible. I was kept waiting several times for more than 30 minutes - . the staff never acknowledged my waiting. I would definitely shop elsewhere.

I chose a bathroom faucet, salesman brought me a printout of different brand, diff faucet. Told him I wanted the same faucet displayed & their sign on bathroom setup stated $210 as displayed. He proceeded to tell me that sign on counter of bathroom display with everything listed & priced had been there over 5 yrs & that was no longer the price....I give up. I didnt even bother to order my kitchen cupboard shelf kit either!Thght Id give The Kitchen Shop another chance after they misordered my bath vanity top in gloss finish, when I ordered matte...then they just buffed off the gloss & gave it to me. Ugh. No more chances, Kitchen Shop!

I purchase a kitchen 2 years ago and now have to replace it. My cabinets are made by kountry cabinets. The employee came to my house and measured, which was all wrong so our installer had to cut and build the space out for the cabinets. I was told these were not the best cabinets but the second best. The draws only open half way and all the shelfs in the pantry has. been reinforced to hold my food. I tried to contact the kitchen shop several times with no luck. This will be our last home because of our age and health, I made it very clear to the young lady I dealt with what I wanted . I am very disappointed with the service and product I got, I would never believe the kitchen shop would allow this cheaply made product to be sold out of there business an not stand behind it. My advice is look elsewhere for cabinets.

Visited last August for laminate kitchen countertops. Received pressure to upsell to onyx. Just wanted simple countertops for a seasonal vacation cottage. Pricing was more than we spent on our cabinets. Topper was when we were told it would be three months before someone could come out to measure. Sorry, no dice!

Poor management - the staff is very unresponsive and unhelpful. That’s too bad, because before George Daly retired Kitchen Shop was great.

New kitchen exceeded expectations, we love it!Tim McKnight (Kitchen Store, Jackson, MI) design consultant/salesman and Bob Podlewski & Sons, Tim’s “go-to” kitchen contractors, Bob, Paul, Jessie, and Matthew all delivered as promised, and then some.Tim is superb, honest, experienced and kind, was always available, email, text, phone calls and in person. We worked though the design, Tim providing his expertise, adding his years of experience to our thoughts, we knew very little, since this was our first complete kitchen remodel. The results were a flawless layout from new floor to resurfaced ceiling. The final price was obviously reasonable, but also clear, and concise from the start, with no surprises either during or after the project was complete. Time from start to finish, as promised ahead of time, this due to Tim picking the BEST contractors in the world!Let me start by saying we NEVER hire anyone to do work around the house, NEVER! The stories I have heard from others about their very bad experiences with contractors. Also, I consider myself handy around the house, but it takes time and I do not have any experience with remodeling a kitchen.Bob’s team, Paul, Jessie and Mathew, all love the work they do, and is shows in every aspect of their work, and interaction with their customers. They too delivered as promised, following a process developed though the experience of installing 100’s of kitchens, they are honest, kind, professional, clean, polite, mature, experienced, arrived each day as promised, on time, worked all day, and night when needed.Demo of the kitchen down to subfloor and drywall, including removal of soffits, 1 day (Friday), then day 2 & 3 (Monday & Tuesday), everything was installed, except quartz countertop and backsplash. A temporary sink and top was installed, as promised, allowing us to live in the kitchen until the countertop was created and installed, 3 weeks later, as promised. Total ‘no kitchen’ downtime? Friday through Tuesday, 3 working days! Excellent! The counter top was installed by another local team picked by Tim, sorry I do not know the company name, it turned out wonderful, installation was flawless. The subway tile backsplash was installed by Paul and his team, including custom tile work behind the sink, using 3 tiles from Tuscany, with design help from Paul, what a great guy, it was fun to design with Paul and turned out wonderful.Were there hiccups, yes, small ones no big ones. Paul and his team discovered some manufacturing flaws, YES the installers pointed the flaws out to US, in the cabinet doors, which Tim immediately ordered replacements, and the guys replaced them when the cabinet doors arrived a week or so later. There were a few other very small issues, calking cracking, missing moldings in the original order. Again, no issues, one phone call and they were fixed.We would highly recommend both Tim McKnight, and the Kitchen Store in Jackson, for kitchen and bath design and installation as well as Bob Podlewski & Sons full service contractors, for any and all work around the house. Next year? Concrete replacement outside, yes Paul said no problems.
