I’m new in Dallas. Need a few things for my hair. My daughter who comes to this Black Hair Store all the time introduced me to them . I been going there every since. They welcome you and they are very professional in their business. I would recommend any one to take a visit. You won’t be disappointed. And the prices are right.

Each and every time I have visited this shop the customer service has been absolutely amazing and I find what I need. The body oils are amazing too. If you ever need a recommendation, black woman is a really good scent. This has become my new favorite spot for hair supplies, hair care and skin/facial care products.

Definitely highly recommended! I called a while back asking for an item and the owner stated she would check and give me a call back. SHE DID….although the item wasn’t in stock. I appreciate the fact that she called. I was 100% satisfied with the assistance I received in the store. The store is fully stocked and had EVERYTHING I needed and much more.

Hands down, The Hive Beauty Supply store; is one of the most helpful and friendliest places to shop for hair product(s). My daughter and I were greeted by the friendly staff and ask how they could assist us, me being a guy and not knowing what I was looking for, they worked with my daughter and assisted her. Even though they didnt have the product that she needed they it for her the next day for her hair appointment.We previously went to Jenny Beauty Supply and they didn’t lift a finger to assist us. We were working with other customers in the store. Needless to say; we have found our new home for our family’s hair products and will no longer use Amazon either.Thanks again for making this a great experience!

A coworker told me about The Hive. I went in looking for an ankle bracelet but bought 2 different styles. The two ladies were friendly and helpful as soon as I walked through the door and immediatly walked me over to the anklets. I went in & needed assistance with product recommendations - the customer service rep at the front (couldve been the owner) recommended products for me...that actually worked. This is actually my first time coming here. I heard about this place via word of mouth at another black owned beauty supply store in DeSoto (Lynns on N Hampton) and decided to bring my family along with me. I must say Ill be coming here from now on for all of my skin and hair care needs. The owner was truly sweet, gorgeous, and helpful. There was a wide variety of different products and accessories plus everything was well organized. I will definitely be a repeat customer

I really love this beauty supply house! One and probably the most important reason is because of their wonderful A+ customer service. They have a willingness to help whether over the phone or in person. I’m a black entrepreneur myself and just seeing this type of service puts a huge smile on my face. Keep it up! I only have two downers that I think could be improved, and with the team the owner has I know it won’t be an issue. First, the knowledge of different hair and products. I’ve called and came in multiple times requesting different types of hair one brand that’s been around for a long time. (Milky Way).The cashier as sweet as she is seemed to draw a blank of the hair and the type of hair (opinion). I feel that coming into a business that is dominated by Koreans and such, (no issue with Koreans or any other foreigner) we have to have the knowledge, after all we’re the ones buying the hair mostly. Second minimum hair selection. I know this might be just my preference, but I don’t want to spend my money with anyone but the Hive I love supporting the black community and it’s frustrating when the variety is still minimum. This was overlooked when they first opened but at a point can get frustrated as time goes by. To that end, none of this is a deal breaker. I will continue to shop at the Hive if at all possible. This is just feedback from a point of view of a customer who buys hair frequently (every week and a half) and would like to see this store grow into something that’s bigger than Valley Ranch.

The owner was more concerned about her phone than serving her customers. We asked her a curling wand she didn’t have any but she said it with a attitude like she didn’t want to be bothered. She wasn’t very welcoming at all.
