They went above and beyond. They replaced my bumper after I got rear-ended. In addition to that they cleaned the outside of my car and cleaned and vacuumed the inside. I have a long haired dog so I was blown away by the results since I did not realize they would do anything aside from the bumper repair. In addition to that they fixed up a sizable paint scratch on another area of the car which I also was not expecting. They also were so fast with the fix and took significantly less time to get the repair done than they initially said. I am blown away and would recommend them to everyone. They also quoted half of what another repair place quoted which is amazing. Jason was a great help at this location!

I’ve been waiting for Abra to start working on my car for more than a month since an estimate. When I got a call last week saying that they haven’t even ordered all of the parts to do the full repair, I suggested a couple part suppliers for them to check out to speed things up. Now, my appointment is postponed until whenever they get back to me over the phone. Also they quoted me $552 to paint a bumper that is already primed. If you are meticulous about your vehicle I would suggest working with a different body shop. My accident happened almost two months ago & I’m still waiting for Abra to begin work on my car which would take only a day or two to fix minor damage.

Theres never a good time to be without your car, but I never imagined thered be such good people to work with during those times. Working with Abra was not only an incredibly professional process (taking time to make sure things were done fully), but they facilitated a number of small kindnesses along the way. The staff were super personable, and I feel like our car is better off for having been in their good hands than it would have been to not be damaged at all. Im exceptionally grateful and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

I was rear ended by a cement truck. Because of truck companies insurance, I was required to take my vehicle to ABRA for an estimate. Originally I was going to take my vehicle to a different body shop but after meeting the ABRA staff, I decided to have them repair my vehicle. They estimated it would take 3 weeks for repairs but only took 2. They were also helpful with information of getting my loaner vehicle. I would definitely recommend ABRA if you need body work on your vehicle.

I had a very good experience with ABRA. Staff was detailed and efficient in getting me an estimate. They offered cleartimetables for the repairs and held to them. Staff was quite friendly and professional; timely and dealt with my insurance claim.I am a car detail junkie and have very high standards for the appearance and upkeep of my Volvo XC 90. I was pleased with the overall repairs, but, did see some minor flaws with repair of my driver’s side door which left a small “ripple effect” in my paint. This is barely visible for those that know where to look to see it.But, overall excellent work! I am quite pleased with results and would recommend ABRA to most people looking for basic body work!4/5 👍

If time is not a concern, use Abra. If waiting 12 working days for a repair is not an issue, they do good work. Front office people lack integrity and professionalism. Emails said one thing & the people who work there said another. We won’t use them again.

The work was not done when I was told it would be done. When I called to find out when the work would be done, they were evasive, blamed others, told me the email updates that I was receiving were worthless. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was transferred to someone who was not the owner. She was rude and evasive. When I discovered she was not the owner, she said that he rarely came in. Ultimately it became clear that my truck had been sitting around for a week to get painted. The job ultimately took many extra days, though the work was very well done.

Ive had work done by ABRA before (apparently people like running into our cars). Im a retired insurance adjuster and I know ABRA stands by their workmanship. Most importantly, they support the local arts in my community!!

Not only was the service of fantastic quality, but the level of professionalism was 5 Star. I was even called back and given an additional service the other parties’ insurance balked at covering which showed me that Abra cares about their product and services, the consumer, and their standing in the community. We have used ABRA before so when my husband hit a deer I knew where our car was going. Unfortunately, it ended up totaled but I knew ABRA would be honest and would never hesitate to take a vehicle to them.

Editing my original review: Very friendly, helpful, and helped get my windshield replaced the next day after calling!Since getting my windshield replaced, I noticed that air was getting through, creating a whistling noise. First, they had me bring my car in just so they could listen, which was unnecessary. Then, I brought it in again to have it dealt with. Turns out its still not fixed. When I called to let them know, I didnt get any type of apology. So now Ill be taking it in for the fourth time to fix the issue. Unfortunately this is a waste of my time and theirs.

Abra was very professional in their fixing of cosmetic damage to the side of my vehicle. I received regular updates on the status of the repair and when returned, the car looked as good as new - not to mention the fact that they gave a thorough cleaning of the car on both the inside and out before returning it. I couldn’t be happier with their service.

I brought my vehicle here for a windshield replacement & when they were done replacing the windshield, the plastic trim that sits on top of the the windshield by the roof was not laying flat to the roof. The trim was wavy with gaps and they told me it would lay flat when the sun hits it, well that hasn’t happened & I brought it back a second time after a few weeks & still they say they can’t do anything to fix the issue. When I dropped off my vehicle the second time they said they’d call me after their glass people looked at it. They didn’t call me to alert me they were done with my vehicle even thought they said they’d call me when they were done with it, they assumed I’d show up & pick up the vehicle sometime in the afternoon. They ended up calling me at 4:50pm into them closing at 5pm telling me that they left my car keys 🔑 inside the vehicle. I was at work and had to call my son and have him rush to this place to secure the vehicle until I got off work. My car sat outside their front door parking unlocked with keys inside the center console armrest from the time they closed to around 7:15pm when my son got the keys & locked up the vehicle. Which means anybody wanting to steal a vehicle that day would’ve have had the opportunity to do so. When I spoke to the lady this morning she was not very concerned & didn’t seem phased with my dissatisfaction of the terrible service they provided me other than she said she was sorry that I felt they didn’t meet my expectations and she hung up!! That tells me they don’t CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER CONCERNS AND THEIR REPUTATION!!!

When we got the van back, it looked better than before the accident. The ABRA staff did a great job. In addition, the car was cleaned inside and out. They were detailed and thorough in all aspects of their work. I would definitely recommend them for auto body work.

We hit a deer in early November, and our choice for the body work was Abra. Our insurance company, Progressive, concurred. It was 100% positive experience all the way around. Abra provided a loaner car. Because we have a GM car, and GM had been on strike, there was considerable delay in obtaining parts for our car. Jason at Abra, and Joshua at Progressive called and emailed and kept us updated on the entire process. They were considerate and clear and included us in decisions. Five star for sure.

Excellent and honest customer service. Everything was throughly explained and the more complicated info was broken down and explained so I could better understand. I was informed throughout the process and had constant communication on the progress. I wasnt left in the dark about anything and I love the finished product. I needed a new bumper and it looked brand new. The paint matched real well and blended in, had I not already known what was replaced, it would be very hard to tell.

My car was involved in a hit and run last week and this was the preferred shop that my insurance company recommended. They got my car in on Monday and I recieved a call Tuesday that it was already done! They worked directly with my insurance company and Enterprise for my rental car. It was a very smooth experience and they also went above and beyond by fully washing my car AND vacuumed the interior which truly made my day. Not to mention they also buffed out a decent sized scrape on the other side free of charge. The body work was exceptional, perfect paint match and everything, my car looks just as good as the day I bought it. Amazing shop!

Brought my car here after it was struck by a drunk driver. I was greeted by staff that was both friendly and professional and my car came back looking better than ever! Along with the outstanding bodywork, It had been washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. They truly went above and beyond. It was also about $500 less than what I had been quoted elsewhere.

Great business full of great caring people. Having a wreck is never a fun experience, but they made the repair process as simple as possible. They worked everything out with my insurance company and kept me up to date with all of the repairs so that I was never in the dark. And when they returned my car, it was back to normal. Best body shop in town.

Having a car accident is never a happy thing, but Abra made it very easy for me. I had a close encounter with my own garage door several months ago and did some serious damage to the rear of my wifes Mini Cooper. Thats right. I damaged my wifes car. Talk about adding insult to injury. I took the Mini to Abra as they were suggested as a possible repair facility by my insurance company. The gentleman there, Brian, stopped what he was doing and wrote me an estimate within minutes of my arrival. He was kind and courteous and answered all of my questions. Right away, we scheduled the repairs, and within days, my wifes vehicle was repaired. I know Mini Cooper parts can be hard to come by, but Brian worked very hard to get the correct parts in as quickly as possible. He and his co-worker, Tracy, called me every day my car was in the shop and kept me up to speed. They made this experience as pleasant as possible.I cannot recommend Abra highly enough. Did a great job with hail damage

Go somewhere else, just for your own peace of mind. My car looked great and the receptionist is quite nice.....thats where it ends. I was told the repairs would take 3 perhaps 4 days.7 days later I had my car back. The person that was handling my case was beyond rude and not having my car for work travel cost me thousands of dollars ( as my car is large enough for my gear and the rental company only had crappy tiny cars). They also put almost 50 miles on my car repairing it....not sure how that works.When you leave they will tell that you are going to receive a survey and they give you a sheet of paper with the questions and it tells you how they want you to answer the questions.I received the survey and instead of using their recommended answers I decided to be honest. It was less than 10 minutes I received a phone call from them harassing me about my answers. After that initial phone call the store manager called me to harass me further because I didnt follow the form answers they gave me. They gave me fake corporate apologies like Im sorry if that was your perception that certainly not how we operate, you know, that fake apology nonsense.If you say 3 maybe 4 days and it takes 7, that is not perception, that is called reality.I will never recommend anyone use ABRA on International Drive and I will proactively tell everyone I know and use my social media to let as many people as I can know that the body shop does good work but it may take twice as long as they tell you to actually finish, your car may come back with a sizable number of extra miles on it that they will deny ( even though I track my mileage daily in a log book I keep in the car)your going to be treated rudely if you call for an update and if you take the time and answer the survey honestly you will be harassed almost instantly after submitting it.Save your self the stress, choose a different shop, or if your insurance company recommends them just ask who the next company on the list.Then they will send you

Abra really pulled through for us for an emergency repair. On our way to IC from Chicago our hood flew up and shattered the windshield. Alba quoted us a very fair price and stuck to it, cleaned up the bits of glass on the dash, and even helped us get the hood to latch securely for our trip home to Chi. All in just two hours. Cannot recommend them enough!

I have had to use this place twice. The work these guys do is top notch and turn around time is fast. I have had nothing but good experience with this place and now specifically request for this place if I ever have any problems.

Unfortunately had to use their service twice but they were friendly, thorough and got our car fixed to where it was before misadventures.

Had a deer run into the side of my car, it messed up the side panels, my driver side mirror, and drivers side window. Got my car back, the scuffs were still in the window when they should have either have been buffed out or replaced. A none heated mirror was installed (did not find this out until this last winter) and the back cover was loosely installed and rattled going down the road. I could out that one of the tabs to clip the new cover had been broken (Im assuming when they tired to force it on in insulation and just figured i wouldnt notice). I placed a call to them in the winter (of 2017 when i realized that my mirror wasnt heated), was told they would order the part and call me back in a few weeks when it was in. 2 months went by and I called in, oh sorry someone must have used it for another job, Ill order another one right away and call you when it is in. This went on 4 more times. It is now July and I have given up dealing with them.I would recommend taking it somewhere else.
