Chuck Smith autobody is one of the most friendly and Customer service driven body shops open to. I appreciate how he does not cut corners, his staff is friendly and professional at all times.

Strongest possible recommendation for fairly priced, high quality repair. Chuck Smith used an enormous suction device that fixed my crumpled bumper. Unbelievably he didn’t charge me a penny! Another local body shop planned to charge > $1,500 for same job. His crew recently expertly repaired hail damage to my two vehicles.

My Jeep had hit a deer. I was recommended this place and I was not disappointed. The staff is very helpful and understanding. They handled the insurance claim as well. They were also nice enough to loan me a vehicle for a few hours to run errands while I was waiting for them to finish up since I was there a bit early. Chuck Smith Body Shop did some excellent work on my car after I was hit recently. They were fast, did quality work and were very flexible with my schedule. On top of it, they were so wonderful with my kids! One of the men played peek-a-boo with my 14 month old in the lobby while I checked out/signed paperwork. Very friendly and I highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Chuck Smith Auto Body. I needed to have my passenger door replaced, so I went to them based on all of their positive reviews. I am so happy that I did! Chuck and his team are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They were able to find a used replacement door from a local junk yard for a great deal- and it looks perfect! They were done with my car in one day. AND Chuck graciously gave me a ride back to my Iowa City home while they repaired my car. If I need auto repair in the future, this will be the first place I will go. Great business that prides honest and customer service.

I went to Chuck Smith Body Shop because the black side strip along the side of my honda odyssey was sticking out. Apparently the inside of the piece was broken and the whole part was going to need replacing. Chuck himself came out to take a look and suggested we try taping it down with some car tape before we expense buying a whole new part. He taped it up fro the inside for free and sent me on my way. The part looked as good as new! That was 3 months ago and the piece is still stuck on there perfectly! I feel like this is a good and honest company who is looking to help its customers and not just make a dime off of them. I will definitely be turning to Chuck Smith Body Shop for all my auto needs.

This body shop is great! I brought my car in to get my bumper replaced and I swear they buffed out a couple of other scratches and cleaned the inside of my car. The staff members were really nice and everything was timely. I would definitely recommend using their services.

These folks do great work. We had an experience where a minor repair came undone and they really stood by their work and fixed the problem. They will treat you right. Good people at a fair price. Body work always seems expensive, but these folks do a good job for a decent price and theyve been around for a long time. They gave me a ride to work while they fixed the problem.
