I was able to quickly reach a price agreement on my trade, the new car, and complete the paperwork with little more than my lunch hour. Was quoted $326 to repair blown with spark plug. They charged$326 plus $185 diagnostic fee that they didnt mention until Ipicked it up. They charged $326 to change 1 spark plug. They alsotold me I need a tune up for an additional $910.00. I told them no justfix spark plug. He indicated truck would not run correctly withouttune up. I picked truck up and have been driving it with no issues?The service Tech was very rude, and very unprofessional aboutmiss quoting and not indicating $185 diagnostic fee. He was toldwhat was wrong with it when it was brought in. Blown spark plug!!! Wont use their service department again.

Honestly, was really a good experience. I literally pulled up in the parking lot and had a 5 minute chat with a salesman on a Thursday and continued to text throughout the day on Friday. Once we got a deal, my wife and I drove up and was there for an hour. Really a much better experience than I usually have. Price of the vehicle was very comparable to other in the area as well. Will go there again for sure.
In shopping for a new truck I came across Capitol City Ford. Researched the vehicle on line and compared prices on similar models. The pricing seemed to be good, so I called, once connected with a sales associate I learned that all of their vehicles are marked above MSRP, even at least one of the used trucks was several thousand dollars more than the original MSRP.I understand demand is high at this point but I cannot recommend a dealer that is asking more than MSRP for any of their common vehicles. Specialty vehicles maybe, but not for a standard truck. It tells me all I need to know about the integrity of the dealership.If this dealer will take advantage of you now, what will they do when the market returns to normal? Can you trust their service? Where else are they taking advantage?Remember this when the supply returns to normal and choose a dealer that didnt take advantage of the situation.
Very poor service. Purchased a used heavy duty truck for work purposes only. Have taken it in under warranty multiple times and still having the same issues, not to mention the ones they’ve over looked. The truck was bought for for income but right now it’s not even paying for itself.

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with these guys. I ended up going there on a whim after putting in an inquiry on a 2017 Fiesta ST. Been dreaming of that car for two years, wishing I could get my hands on it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Alex told us that Capitol City would take care of our remaining lease payments on our used car that we were trading in for a new Escape. Then he adds nearly $4000 to the final price. When I asked what that includes, he mumbled around and brought Ed Hamilton over. He showed us that the 2 final lease payments were being added to our price we were going to pay for the Escape. Alex claimed that Ed told him that the lease payments would be paid by Capitol City, Ed said he didnt. Regardless, someone told us incorrectly and I wont do business with this company EVER. Stay away!

I bought a used 2014 ford edge from here. The price was fair and the buying process went smoothly. However, the car detailer did a bad job of cleaning up after the previous owner, as there was still dirt and debris in some places and they refused to clean it again upon my request. I also had to replace the brakes and turn my rotors soon after I bought it, something they should have done before I purchased it. The LCD screen they replaced has some glitches as well, but all cosmetic and minor, although glitches shouldnt be there at all. I would probably use this dealership again if I wanted to buy a new car, but I will probably look elsewhere for used cars.

I purchased a 2020 Ford Transit Connect from Michael Hood in the commercial sales department. The optioned van was all but non existent in a three state area. I was pleasantly surprised that he found the exact one I wanted ! I also know that I got a good price and hope that when I purchase my next vehicle it can be as pleasant.

We arrived on Memorial Day and everything went fairly well. We’ve been looking for 7-8 months to buy a new (or newer) vehicle and trade in my old SUV. Our sales associate was Harrison. He was nice and friendly. Since my old vehicle was 14 years old, it’s been over whelming on learning all these new gadgets. Harrison has been awesome and walked me through a lot of the buttons. We had a very hard time programming the new truck to our garage door. Harrison came out to our house and got it going in 45 seconds and even programmed our other vehicle too! Seriously, who still comes out to the house these days? Simply amazing and highly recommend him!

I took my 2006 Ford Explorer in for service because it was due for an oil change and the exterior lights were constantly on despite the headlamp switch being in the off position.After diagnosis I was advised that the smart junction box needed replaced. I authorized the repair and oil change. Given the vehicles age and cost estimate for repair I asked if there were any discounts or promotions available. My Service Advisor said they he would check his drawer for some $40 coupons.When I picked up my Explorer I went to the cashier and no discount was applied. I paid the bill in full and the cashier refunded $40 + tax in a subsequent transaction when I mentioned the discount.After I got in the vehicle, I noticed the oil change light and warning message was still on, the drivers floor mat was laying on the passengers seat, and when I popped the hood I noticed the wiper fluid reservoir lid was open. However, the electrical issue was fixed and I was not billed for the oil change.When I returned home, I Googled the Ford part number and found I was charged $369.42 for a part I could order at parts.ford.com for $302.80 (or from a number of other reputable vendors for ~$250).

Worst customer service from a repair shop that I have ever experienced. Being a woman, I am often apprehensive about dealing with auto repair shops on my own. When I took car in for a simple brake job, the tried to charge me a fortune. I left their and proceeded to call other repair shops and the price was 50% less expensive on average. When I told them that I was leaving, the person at the counter became obnoxious and very unnerved about my decision to leave. Good thing I used my best judgement and left these people for good.
Amazing! I had no idea what was wrong with my car. I took it in @1030-11 they had it ready by 3! Not only did they do it quickly they also provided me a ride back home, and a ride to pick me up and get my car! Gale is amazing and she’s very very helpful! Thank you Capitol City Ford!!!
Son has had his 2018 f150 for a check engine light 3 times in last 6 weeks. Steve service manager said last time reason was low on gas. Well in 2 weeks with a 3/4 tank came on again. Truck has shimmied several times. fuel injectors have been changed. Had to be towed in. Not giving him a loaner.They dont keep him updated. He asked for a case number steve would not give him one. This is why we have Lemon law. Truck is in shop as I type.
This place is full of crooks! Their motto impressively different sure was correct you will waste your time with them. We settled on pricing and what needed fixing. Later we were told to come pick our car up as it was completed and ready, after arriving at the dealership they told us that theyd need 1500 more dollars on top of the asking price for a HEADLIGHT unit after pricing was already decided prior. Their district manager said he could get us in a rental the prior weekend after repairs had drug on the week prior. After the incident with the raise in price that offer magically went away. We later found out that the price/value of the car had appreciated after negotiation and they simply wanted to get rid of us so they could raise the price and put it back out on the lot at a higher price. Save your time and head aches. Sad business practice will NEVER shop with Capitol city ford ever again!!

I would give this place negative stars if I could. I had my 2014 Ford Flex towed there since I was out of town and it was the closest ford dealership. I told the service manager in great detail of everything that has happened to my car in the past 6 weeks and what the underlying issue is. I told them I did not car how much it costs, I didn’t want my car back until the problem was fixed and not just treating the symptoms. Guess what, the symptoms were fixed and I was told that nothing else is wrong with my car. I have gone through this 5 other times in 6 weeks so I knew they were wrong but they said they would not keep my car any longer. 40 mins into my drive my car once again breaks down due to the same electrical issue. When I called them they did offer to come get the car but I decided to pay almost 300 dollarsFor the car to be sent back to my house. Please listen to your customers and don’t just fix the symptoms so you can get a car in and out of the shop.

The first time I brought my vehicle here they forgot I was waiting on it so I actually was sitting in the wait area for some time after it was done. It was only when I noticed it outside and asked about it that they realized I had been here. Today I asked if they had a tire in stock. They said yes and they could get to it right away. I said I could make an appointment if necessary, they said no they had the tire and could get to it. I am still waiting it has been over 2 hours to get a tire changed that they could get to right away had had in stock.

And, we qualified for additional incentives including a conquest rebate, and another rebate offered through the Main Ford Website, just for filling out some website visitor information.The big Holiday weekend sale is over, but if youre looking to buy a new Ford car or truck, I wouldnt hesitate to stop in at Capital City Ford.All the staff is friendly, and courteous. Our sales person, Harold, was great to work with. Hes very knowledgeable about the vehicles he has on the lot, and he was up to speed on all the current sale prices and incentives being offered that day. The Finance Guy, was friendly and helpful too. Got to the dealership at 6:02pm to pick up my car after service and was told they were closed even though online it says theyre open until 7. They wouldnt even let me take my car and pay in the morning because they didnt want to turn the alarms off and on again.
I was a little skeptical of going in to the dealer to buy a new vehicle because of past experiences at other dealerships. Let me tell you that Capitol City Ford is far from the norm that you get at other places. They are a team of “no pressure” salesmen. They will explain everything to you in detail and do everything they can to get you the best deal out there. They got me a great rate on a new F-150 and pretty good value on my trades. Harry, Steve and Doug are a great team and I couldn’t be happier with the truck and the easy process. Do yourself a favor and check out Capitol City. I drove 60 miles to get there passing many other dealers by on my way.
There was a communication breakdown and mostly our fault. Did not know if you got free oil change from the dealership you bought your vehicle from was not good at other ford dealerships. I had talked to 2 different guys in service and told them we had a free oil change and was there getting a recall taken care of. I had an excellent experience anyway. I got an AMAZING trade in value on my year old car with high mileage AND on top of that an OUTSTANDING finance rate on my beautiful new Ford Edge! Ive purchased many cars in my lifetime, but this was the very first time I left a dealership feeling guilty that I got such a good deal! My father traded in his vehicle on a new Ford Ranger the week prior and left feeling the same way. There was no pressure, no haggling back and forth... it was honestly an easy purchase! The buying experience was good, overall... my issue with them came up only just recently (3 months after I bought the car). I had been feeling/hearing a vibration from the tires for a bit and my husband thought it sounded/felt like a tire wasnt balanced right. I took it to my tire shop to get them checked, rotated and balanced. When I did my test drive, Id asked the salesman about the tires... were they original or newer than 2016? He scoffed and said they were DEFINITELY not original, but he didnt know exactly when theyd been replaced. It turns out that THREE of them ARE the original tires, and the ONE that is newer WAS PUT ON BACKWARDS. The 3 old tires were just barely in the red zone, and the 1 newer tire was in the yellow zone, so I had to get all new tires. And, on top of that, the spare that my car came with is a completely different size than the other 4. So, now I am not quite as happy with my buying experience as I had been!

My experience was very positive. The salesman let me take a long test drive of the 2010 Ford Explorer I was interested in. We took a city and expressway drive to get a good feel for the vehicle and its handling. My salesman, John, was very knowledgeable with the vehicle equipment and extras that comes with the Eddie Bauer package. We came to terms pretty quickly and I put a down payment on the SUV. I did go and look at a couple other dealers that evening and Capital City Ford was the best deal I found. I brought my wife back the next day and purchased the vehicle. Also, they went the extra mile and had the vehicle professionally detailed before I arrive the next day. Three days after owning my new (used) Ford Expedition I love it.

A couple weren’t the greatest but overall we have always gone to Capital City Ford whenever we have wanted to look at new cars to purchase. I went to Capitol City for some detail work on my vehicle and Greg did an AMAZING job! Larry was also sure to keep me informed and answer all of my questions! Called this morning to make an appointment for an oil change. I was told that they dont make appointments for oil changes, its only first come, first served. I explained that I was busy with work, and couldnt risk showing up with 5 people in front of me. She stated there was nothing she could do. I told her I would be taking my business else where, and she said, Okay, bye! and hung up. I called Tom Wood Ford immediately after, and made an oil change appointment with no problem. Im also upgrading both of our family vehicles to Explorers in the next 60 days with our first child on the way. We will definitely be going with the customer focused Tom Wood dealership! I would recommend you take your business there as well.

Mark is the absolute BEST car salesman weve ever met. Was referred to him by a friend who also loves Mustangs. Mark was absolutely no pressure and extremely down to earth. We will definitely return once we have this one paid off. He helped us get the exact car I wanted made from scratch. It was cool to basically create your own car and I couldnt be happier with our purchase.
Went to go see a truck this weekend on Sunday. It wasnt anywhere on the lot. Tried to contact them via website chat that was offered. Received message back stating no one could chat outside of business hours. How stupid to offer it with a persons name who is available to help and then its just a trick since no one can chat. Received a text from someone at the dealership today (Monday): This is Lora with Capitol City Ford. Unfortunately, the 2011 Ford Ranger was sold on Friday. I appreciate your time and interest. Have a great week! My reply: It was still posted this weekend and we drove two hours to come see it yesterday. We live in Cincinnati. What a terrible system you have. You should consider removing listings immediately upon selling vehicles. No amount of sorry or apologies can make up for our wasted time to see something you simply forgot or neglected to do. In fact, its still on your site. Shame on your business. For all we know youre lying and it sold weeks ago. So sad if this is a ploy to get people to visit your dealership. In its still listed right now She never took it off even after texting me! Buyers beware!!!
Since 2013 I purchased three trucks from Capitol City Ford. If that doesnt give you an indication to purchase your vehicle from Capitol City, I dont know what will. Harold, Austin and Ed made the process very easy. I loved both F-150s and now my F-250. Cant wait to get my F-250 hooked to my travel trailer and hit the road. Our experience was excellent. We dropped in on a Saturday morning just to see what kind of trucks they had and we drove a brand new truck home a couple of hours later. We purchased a brand new F250 and the salesman was a pleasure to work with and the finance manager was very pleasant and worked with us to get our payment where we needed it. My experience was a very positive one during my visit. Salesman Gene did a great job getting me the perfect vehicle. I originally stopped in to check out a Ford Escape and was a bit unsure if I was truly set on that model after taking it for a test drive. The vehicle looked and drove great but it just wasnt quite the right fit for me. Gene asked a few questions and told me that he had something on the lot that might fit better with what I described as important to me before leaving to get another vehicle for me to test drive. He came back with a Ford Edge and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! The following financing process was very worry free and they were all very accommodating as this was my very first time financing a vehicle.Gene even went the extra mile and had another store associate help me get my current vehicle home since I was not trading it in so that I would not have to make a second trip back just to fetch my old SUV!A few days have passed since I purchased my vehicle and the Ford Edge has been absolutely perfect. The representative that was assisting us, Mark G., was extremely kind and VERY flexible in assisting us. We never once got the feeling that he was trying to rip us off, and we only ever felt that he GENUINELY wanted to HELP us get something affordable and dependable. We told him our price range and he was more than happy to work with us, and patient with us the whole time, even though we spent a lot of time with the vehicle before buying it. He provided us with a Carfax, for free (you get charged a fee from Carfax if you try to get on their website yourself). He stopped us from spending the money we almost spent on that (oops) and got it to us within minutes, all printed out and ready to go. The manager who ultimately got all the papers signed with us was a wonderful man as well. Great people here at this place! Thanks guys!
My experience at Capitol City Ford was, by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. All of the staff were helpful and worked hard to make sure I got the best deal with financing. I will definitely be back for my future auto needs!
I have three issues with this dealership. First, after the negotiations back and forth they gave me their best deal and I said “let me sleep on it.” The very next morning I called and said I’ll take it. They said that the deal was only for yesterday and jacked the price up $300. I finally got it for $150 more than the price they gave me the previous night. Second, on my way home I noticed that instead of filling my gas tank they only filled it half full. And the worst thing was the very next day I called to report that there was an issue with the power steering. It was binding and hard to turn. They told me that there was nothing they could do because I didn’t buy a warranty. I’m not talking a month down the road it was less than 24 hours after taking possession. Buyers beware!!! Stay away from these shady characters.
I have to give a big thank you to Corey and the folks at Capitol City Ford. I own a Ford that has issue of which Ford was aware. They have made even extended warranties and recalls because of this. So you would expect an easy process to get it fixed. Wrong! Several other dealerships kept giving me the run around and wouldnt fix the probelm. I was about ready to run it into a lake and be done with it (joke). That is until I took it to Capitol City. They listened to what I said, gave me the earliest appointment available and took care of it. No hassles and no excuses. Again, thank you!
After a lot of research on the vehicle I wanted to purchase, I settled on an F-150. When I arrived at Capitol City Ford, I was greeted by Shawn. I told him what I was looking for and we worked through my options. He located the truck I wanted at one of his other locations. They arranged to have the truck for me the next morning. Everything was very easy and painless. This is the second new vehicle I have purchased from Capitol City in the past 4 years and I will definitely purchase the next one there as well!
VERY SLOW SERVICE!!! just had a simple screw in a tire and had to wait 2 hours for them to just get the vehicle on a lift. it was parked right next to the tire balancing machine and a floor jack for that 2 hours.After getting on the lift it took 25 minutes to replace tire, with just a simple screw in the treat of the tire. Plus 15 minutes for them to get paperwork done.I dont believe I will be taking my vehicle here anymore.
