I recently ordered a 2022 Kia Telluride from this dealer and received the quickest turn around time in this state. They also had a lower markup on this vehicle than other dealers I had been to due to this being a high demand vehicle. Jake Leech made my first car buying experience better than I could have ever imagined. Every single person I made contact with during this experience was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Highly recommended to everyone! David is the epitome of integrity at its finest. While other dealerships were using the smoke and mirror sales tactics, David gave me facts and sound advice. (Advice that was in MY best interest, not the dealerships.) That speaks volumes about Davids character. I want to say the salesman who helped us today, Bruce was great! He was kind, personable and genuine. Five stars hands down! However I came to the table with a deal that could not be meet today. No worries! I even said to my husband I felt like he was nervous to go and counter, and questioned if it were an act. Then his boss Lorne come out to reprimand me for not taking the offer. He ever tried to push Bruce under the bus with a comment that maybe things got lost in translation. There are few times in my life when I feel thing would be different if I were male. Today was one of them. I wish I had said Dont talk to me that way! My daughter was with us and even said the manager treated me as if I were a five year old. To Lorne I didnt get upset with the deal you came to the table with so dont bully me with a deal Im not willing to pay for. It is my cash, and I can choose to go elsewhere.

After hitting a pothole at night on the interstate, two tires immediately went flat on our new K5. We live out of state and were unfamiliar with the area. The next morning we reached out to Kia Service and Nick in the service department went the extra mile to help us out. He asked what tires were on the vehicle. After taking down the information he called me back within just a couple of minutes and confirmed that he had the tires in stock. He also suggested we have an alignment performed, given the obvious impact the pothole had. We agreed on the service and cost and then I asked if he could recommend a towing company. He immediately had a name and number so that we could get the car to him as quickly as possible. Even though the service department was booked solid with a full schedule, Nick still managed to fit us in and fix the vehicle. Nick was beyond helpful and professional, he went the extra mile to communicate each step of the way. When we buy a vehicle we always look for a dealership that has a good service department. If you are the same, look no further as this one is as good as they come! Much gratitude Nick for all of your help today!

We had a great experience at Ray Skillman Kia West after having an awful experience at another Kia dealer. Gary (finance manager) was selling that day and he was great! Very nice and laid back! The finance guy Dave was also very nice and easy to deal with. Bruce helped show us all the tech stuff on our new Kia Sedona and he was also very nice! All the people we encountered were great! We will definitely use them in the future.

First and foremost, If you want a comfortable purchase. Go see Yvon.Seriously, ask for Yvon.Alright so I Never write reviews but I have to quickly point out the good and the bad. Ive waited three months to write this to make sure my opinion wasnt swayed by the aura of the purchase.Its pretty Straightforward. The salesman are pretty friendly but as soon as you have to deal with the background staff (excluding the gentleman who processes they payment), you will want to walk out. They are straight up rude and make assumptions about you and your status.Thats the bad.Other than that everything is good.Ask for Yvon you wont regret it. Hes pretty Straightforward.

Asking to much for a used car with a bad top and mechanical issues. Sad that they would let a someone buy this in the condition it is for that price. I would expect that from a shady used car lot, not Ray Skillman. My dad knows Ray and if Ray knew they were going to do this to a customer he would fire them!

After a bad experience from a Carmel Kia dealership Im so glad I found this one. Got ahold of David, the sales manager who helped me look for the perfect Telluride. He stayed in contact on incoming models weekly and ultimately helped me order one with exactly what I wanted and at MSRP which many other dealers were charging $5000 extra or more. He kept in touch weekly with updates on my order, which I ended up getting a month earlier than expected and picked it up last Thursday.I also highly recommend salesman Bruce. He assisted me on the day of pick up and spent plenty of time with us going over all the vehicle options and even reached out after the sale as a followup.Great first time car buying experience!

I had a burning smell in my car. I had took my car to the Kia dealer. It had been making the burning smell for about a month off and on. It smelled like a candle that had been just blown out. No check check engine lights or oil lights were coming on. I took day off to take my car in on 12/18/2020. My appointment was at 10:30. I got there explained what my car was doing. I had decided to wait there while they looked my car over. Before I could get set down the guy had come in to ask me to come back out to the garage area. He had my hood popped up and the big cover off and there was oil sitting there. Not much but enough to be making the smell. I asked him what couldve started this problem and he said either someone over filled your oil or from usage. I had my oil changed about a month or two earlier at this dealer. I have about 62,000 miles on my car and I only take my car to this same dealer for all my oil changes/ work on my car. He looked at me and shrugged. He said let me get you a price and I went back in to set down. Hour later he came back with the price of $455.47. No joke ! For something that this service department couldve done wrong. I asked how long this would take hour and half he said. I waited for over 2 hours. I had eventually went out there to see what was going on or how much longer. The original guy wasnt there. The other guy which is always nice tried to help me. Finally found my car and got it out to me. The first guy that helped me wasnt very pleasant. The guy that said it couldve been over filled with oil. I will not be taking my car back to this dealer. I will drive out of my way to another Kia Dealer. I had been taking my car hear since I bought it brand new. Not any longer. Big let down.

I stopped in on a rainy day and just wanted to talk to someone about price and maybe trading in my car. I am SO glad I did. Upon arrival I was greeted by Bruce. I told him what I wanted, what I had and even what color I needed. And just like that...he took me straight to the Sportage that I requested AND gave me all the incentives and discounts that he possibly could. The reason the review is two stars is because of Joe Beck otherwise it would be one star. I walk into the dealership, and see two guys talking. They see me, but no one comes over to say hello. I am waiting. Did not wait over 3 minutes. Joe/Jon Thomburg precedes to walk past me and I say, So you are gonna walk by and not speak. He says hello and stares at me. We have a staring contest for at least 5 seconds. Thats the minimum. It could have been longer. He says, I am busy, I will get somebody to help you, you can sit over there. I say no I am good. He goes to a female co worker, and begins to talk about me to her. Talk about me in a negative way. He is shaking his head and getting into the conversation. She comes over and I say I need to speak to a manager. She asks my name and I say, I will tell the manager my name. He comes over and I ask for privacy as she is staring in my face trying to be nosy. I begin to tell Joe Beck the story. He was very compassionate, nice, made good eye contact and was overall understanding and professional. But I am blown away by my negative experience. I am asking myself, would Joe/Jon do a male the same way he did me? Was it because I was black and he was white? What was it the possessed him to think he could be so rude and arrogant toward me? I felt threatened. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I refuse to use my HARD earned money to buy a car from them. No thank you

Submitted online request for test drive appointment for Wednesday 12/18. Was kindly contacted by Anita in Customer Care who confirmed the time & introduced me to Jake in sales when I arrived. The vehicle was ready & waiting inside the spotless service area. Jake answered all my questions, was very pleasant, efficient and easy to work with. Dave (Finance) was very accommodating. Had a great experience with purchasing a car here! The staff was friendly, and easy to work with. My sales guy was Steve Echols, he was fantastic. This is a night and day experience from the horrible Napleton locations. The staff at Skillman seem way more trustworthy than Napleton. There was a slight issue with one of the fog lights on the vehicle that I bought (it was a used car) and they replaced it for me for free! I feel like I found a reputable company to buy future vehicles from, and obviously nobody enjoys the process of a dealership. But seriously, these guys are great. I was a bit harsh with them at first, only because I was so angry with the Napleton experience, but Steve and his sales manager were very accommodating with the entire process. I will definitely buy from Skillman again in the future!

Came in to have an oil issue looked at, while I was here had them go ahead and do an oil change and an alignment because my car was pulling to the right. Also asked that they check the tire... after almost 3.5 hours of waiting they tell me nothing was wrong with the tire I leave and check the alignment and it was still pulling to the right... called right away and they asked that I come back in... I had to get back to work so we agreed that I would come in the next morning.... guess what... the tire was bad....that they said was checked and now I am paying out more money and waiting again....most of the guys are customer friendly, the young guy could use some help.. I like coming here and will continue to come... but this 2nd trip could have been avoided if they would have checked everything yesterday... update from 45 minutes ago... changed the right tire...drove off and then the car started pulling to the left. Came right back to find out that the technician recommended that I get 2 tires and the young man only offered me 1... so here I sit after being up all night writing a term paper for now over 2 hours... how long will I have to wait this time? Btw Nick is awesome... your young guy is clueless and rude... when I came back he was annoyed that I was back...

My family had a great experience with the Kia West crew. We had been shopping around for a month or so for the perfect van for our growing family, and found that there was some great deals for 2019 Kia Sedonas. We drove every van you can think of and we ultimately decided on the LX model. Jake was our salesman and made it all seamless with minimal stress. We were driving away in our new van in about 3 hours, which is refreshing because Ive been on lots for 5+ a few times. GM Lorne, Finance Manager Bryan, and Jake come highly recommended by my family. The van is perfect for us, the warranty is incredible, and the price was right. If youre in the market for a vehicle in general and you havent drove a Kia before, I suggest you get in one to test drive it and be prepared to be impressed. Give me a year or so and well be back for an Optima!! Thanks again Jake!

Ive never had a good experience with any dealership. Usually it has always been very stressful and was like pulling teeth to get what I need out of the deal. I believed that if I had a good experience that somehow I got the bad end of the deal or if I had to argue with sales or finance staff that Ive somehow won. Well, staff at Ray Skillman Kia asked me what I wanted. I told them. They not only listened and delivered exactly what I needed to happen, but they also threw in extra discounts I didnt ask for. I was in a very difficult situation with my trade in vehicle that was honestly a little embarrassing. They gave me respect and were supportive. They spent a great deal of time searching for the best deal available. They delivered. I had a great experience. So much i had to go to the dealership manager to compliment not only him, but everyone who had helped me. I was so surprised that they delivered my requests w/o arguing or haggling and then took it a few steps further to sweeten the deal. My wife and I will be back! I promise!

Every time I go here the wait is ridiculous, I would go else where. I had a new tire put on and also had a full service oil change. Took over two hours. They washed but only vacuumed the drivers side and they did that and wiped my car down in front of me, not very professional. I would recommend another KIA dealer.

I was met with smiles and assurances that they would make sure I was ready for a road trip in the near future. This should have been a 4 or 5 star review. They do good work and their waiting area is legitimatly comfortable.However, the amount of time it takes for relatively simple maintenance is unbelievable. At least double and probably triple what you would expect a skilled tech to take.I was also charged for at least an extra hour of labor on my last trip there. Probably closer to 2.Good quality work, but I doubt I will be going back.

I went to Ray Skillman Kia, that is where the collision center is. I went to get an estimate on the damage on my car. The adjuster, Dylan was great!!! The preliminary estimate was written, he told me he would get everything taken care of, and would call me to get the car in to be repaired. That took a lot of stress off of me.

I was in the market for a new car but had plenty of time to make the decision. I stopped in to test drive the car I wanted to purchase and let them know that I was not looking to buy anytime soon. I worked with Dorsey and she was very pleasant and helpful. Of course she wants to sell me a car! LOL! However, I shortly realized that Dorsey was genuine and helpful and yes she wanted to sell me a car but she didnt give me the high pressure sales tactics that I was expecting. The time frame that I gave them soon shortened as I decided to move quicker than I thought. However, I wanted a certain color exterior and interior that was very hard to find. Dorsey turned that task over to her manager Lorne Hayden. He worked tirelessly to find exactly what I wanted and so I came in the next day. Dorsey was busy when I got there and I had help from others including Lorne Hayden to make sure I was not sitting there for hours. ****UPDATE***** The very next day Blake from Kia read my review and called to apologize about the service I received. He also offered me a free oil change and car wash on my next visit. I can’t say how surprised and pleased I am just for the simple fact they care about customer satisfaction. I absolutely retract my statement about finding another dealership. Anyone who wants and cares to guarantee customer satisfaction will always have my business. Customer service is everything to me. I definitely recommend Ray Skillman. They care.So I’m new to the area, but my warranty contract states that I must get my oil changed only at a Kia dealership. So as soon as I pull in my tire pressure light comes on. I ran over a nail in THEIR driveway. I then had to pay $20 yes $20 for them to plug it along with my $50 oil change. They said with the oil change I get a free car wash and vacuum. It was lightly raining that day so they told me they could not do the wash or vacuum. I asked if they would owe me one. The lady laughed. I’ll be looking for a different Kia dealership next time

I was at a closed car sale with all makes and models to choose from and a Kia was not on my radar screen, but Avery Lyons did a great job asking me what I really wanted in a car, what I liked and didnt like about my current car, and asked to show me the Kia Sorento. He was thorough and knowledgeable about the vehicle and could answer all of my questions and took time to show me features he thought would be important to me based on the questions hed asked. He and his team got me top dollar for my trade in and with the great warranty, I was sold. Great experience! Avery Lyons is my favorite type of car salesman. He helped me find what was good for me, not for him. Proud new Kia owner!

I brought in my Sportage to get window switches replaced and check on road noise. I have had it in three times now, and waiting on a part for the fourth service visit. If four visits sounds like a lot of my precious time wasted, it is! That inefficiency is definitely on this specific service department. The fact that so many parts failed on may care before it hit 100,000 miles is on Kia. I wish I had known what the total was going to be before I started fixing issues, I would have traded it in (somewhere else) or donated it.

Ive been coming here for service for years and I just leased a 2017 Kia Sportage. Ryan Stevenson was my salesperson and he was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and provided a no-pressure experience. Everyone there was great and I enjoyed a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie while we negotiated the details.I highly recommend that you check this place out. They have a surprisingly large inventory and will do their best to help you find what you want at, a price you can afford.

The sales staff went well beyond expectations...Especially Jake Leetch... Not only did he attempt to show us(my daughter) cars in our price range on the Kia lot...but also took us to test drive at Mazda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi... Greatest thing about Jake is that he listened to what our price point was, what our concerns were about each car and when we were going to actually purchase a car(when we showed up on the lot for the 1st time...we were looking around 45 days out before we could purchase....and he only contacted once every 7 days just to touch base...was no forced gotta buy now attitude)Thanks to all at Ray Skillman (all of them we visited) for a great car buying experience!😁😁😁

We had a great experience at this dealership. Our sales consultant Andrew Hart was a great listener and got us a deal that worked within our budget and gave us a better car than what we came there for originally. We were preapproved when we arrived but the finance dept. found us a better deal to finance our car. The customer service was great and the overall experience was awesome! I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Lack of follow up and responsiveness makes this a tough place to do business with. Responses include automated, generic emails and two week turn around time to get a rep on the phone. Their customer service philosophy appears to be “We do not accept responsibility.” Your money will be valued greater elsewhere.

Recently, I started looking for a vehicle for my grandmother. She will be retiring soon and I wanted her to purchase a vehicle that she would be able to afford with her monthly income. I wanted her to not only be able to afford it but I wanted it to be something she liked because it’s nothing like paying for a vehicle that you (really) like. So we pulled into the Ray Skillman lot and Ollie Hampton (sales consultant) came out and immediately assisted. Although we did not purchase a vehicle that day, he was still so helpful and kind. My grandmother and I had returned the next day because it had gotten late the previous day and Jason Bennison another (sales consultant) had tagged team and further assisted us since (Ollie) at the time was working with another customer. Jason was phenomenal! He picked up where Ollie had left off and my grandmother ended up finding the vehicle that she loved! We took the vehicle on the highway to test drive it and my Grans was like “This is it”! Thanks to Marsell Williams (Sales manager) and Bryan Schultz (Business manager) they made it work for my grandmother and she is now a happy camper ! She says this is her “season” ! Thanks to your wonderful team for looking out for my Granz! She means everything to me and to see her smile after purchasing the vehicle was #Priceless ‼️

My husband and I went car shopping after talking about it for about a month. We looked online and found Ray Skillman Dealerships and were contacted immediately by their friendly staff. We made our appointment and went to look at our options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We met Wild Bill and he drove us around to find the vehicle we were looking for. He found the perfect Kia Sorento for us and made the experience very nice. We were made comfortable while all the preparations were being done to get our new vehicle ready for us to take home. The whole staff at Ray Skillman was friendly and helpful. We would recommend Ray Skillman to anyone looking for a vehicle. We will definitely be back!
