This is in response to the routine maintenance of the SECOND can we’ve bought there. We don’t swap vehicles. We still have the first Pilot we bought from Penske in 2008. It now has over 280,000 miles. We’ve done the big 100k service there twice now. Our CPO CR-V was bought there this spring. I had my mother in law purchase her Pilot there this summer. This is a top-flight dealership and service center.
Had an appointment for 65 point and recall of steering column. Met by Ed Matthews who explained process and how long it might take. Sat in lounge. Periodically, Mr. Matthews updated me. Job completed well ahead of time. Lounge. coffee machine a bit challenging. But this was a good visit.
Friendly from the moment I arrived, Mr Matthews explained exactly what service was going to be performed, how much it would cost, and a time estimate for the work. My car was finished earlier than I expected and no one tried to sell me anything extra. Car was cleaned and an estimate for the next maintenance service was given. This is how service should be!
Had several dashboard lights on. Diagnosed and fixed all by mid afternoon. The best surprise was that the invoice was less than quoted! And all service members I came in contact with were very professional and courteous! It was a great overall service experience from start to finish.
I asked about the wear on my tires. Did I need rotation or new tires? I was advised I could wait. I appreciate the service and professionalism.
Kindly greeted, they had a concern and called me to discuss and create a solution that was mutually beneficial.

Chris McCrickard was very accommodating to us by working us in for an oil change. We thought we would wait on the tire rotation but Chris said it wouldnt take long. He told us it would be about 40 min and that included also checking the alignment. He told us the cost for each of the services and we were amazed at the affordability of them. Our car was done in a bit less than the 40 min. Penske Honda service is definitely our go to place for service and Chris Mccrickard is very professional and thorough in explaining about the services as well as very personable.

Penske is run the way every dealership should be but sadly most are not. Every place is spot perfect clean - their waiting area is spacious and nice - every staff member I have spoken with or been in contact withis thoroughly professional

Robby is such a great associate! He makes you feel like you have known him forever. Great customer service and communication. Totally enjoyed my experience even though the wait was long (2 hours- which Robby made sure I was aware of this beforehand). He even gave me a discount because we had been servicing our vehicles at Penske for so long. Would definitely continue to get service done here.

I went without an appointment to get my batter tested. It turned out that I needed a new battery (instead of a new starter like I feared). I was told it would be about 2-2.5 hrs because they were pretty backed up. I had my toddler with me and wasn’t sure how long he would hold up but I took a chance anyway. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and courteous and they ended up getting me out of there in under 2 hours. AND it turns out my battery was still under warranty so there was no charge! BONUS!

I purchased my card this dealership and have used them for my regular maintenance so far. It is a well appointed facility, staffed with qualified people, and I would recommend them for both purchasing your car and having it serviced there.

Great staff though couldnt get appt and had to wait almost 2 weeks. The parts were not available so I had to reschedule a new time/date to install a very, very expensive catalytic converter that is a Honda Part. The hardware expense was the only drawback otherwise good people.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews but I figured this experience warranted me posting one.I recently purchased a used vehicle out of state that was well outside of its warranty period. After trying everything online without any luck, I brought it to Penske Honda as a last resort. This is an issue that has popped up throughout forums online with 50+ people posting that they brought it to Honda dealerships and couldnt find a solution. For this issue, I worked with Chris M. and he was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond to figure out the issue, even going so far as contacting some Honda-wide service groups. He kept me updated over the two weeks it took to find a solution and he had a genuine interest in getting the vehicle fixed. He was able to get the issue fixed and at an unbelievably low price. During the final repair, he quickly found that it would take longer than expected and as a result gave me transportation while the vehicle was being repaired. I cant speak highly enough of Chris and the rest of the Penske team. Throughout the extended process, everyone was absolutely wonderful. I just wish I could give them six stars.
Just service checkup. No repairs. No lights when I can. 3 lights on dash 1day later. Windshield wiper, both rear tire lights,another light not sure. Looked like candle upside-down down with parentheses. Will need come back.
They were quick and efficient, accommodations for customers was comfortable, and the service representatives clearly explained what they were doing for me.
I always enjoy coming here. Everyone is so polite and helpful and in a good mood. Getting my oil changed doesnt make me dread showing up. Keep it up!
I will NEVER return to Penske Honda. Chris was a very nice technician until I realized that he gave me a band aid for a problem that needed surgery. They let me drive off the lot knowing that I would have to return for a problem they did not fix the first time I brought my car in to the service center. When I called back to follow up, Ed was very confrontational and extremely unhelpful. He refused to acknowledge the misdiagnosis of my car the previous day and did not offer any help in getting my car towed back to the service center. Furthermore, he blamed me for not leaving the car there for them to fix the issue (which was only exacerbated by them allowing me to leave with the problem unfixed). I feel like they took advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge and desperate need for a functioning vehicle, and effectively stole $150 from me. As I said before, I will not be returning to Penske Honda and I will never recommend anyone I know to their service center.
My service representative was pleasant and professional. He ensured that I understood what was involved. All was timely and well communicated. We have been a Penske family for several years.
The maintenance department is efficient and on time. The service man, Clark, was courteous and listened to what I needed done. This is my 3rd Honda and I will continue to deal with Penske!

All the lights came on the dash telling me there was a problem with cruise control, lane changing, brakes, etc. I called the dealership I purchased the car from to find out what to do. I didnt know if I should drive it or not. They told me they could see me on July 12th. I would have had to go without a car for 12 days for them just to look at it. I explained that I needed a car and it only has 27,000 miles on it. He didnt care and had no alternatives. I then decided to call Penske Honda because I have heard good things. They had me being it in. They told me it would be awhile also on a repair, but they would look at it and go from there. To make a long story short, they helped me, they fixed it and they took care of a new Honda customer that has never had to deal with the dealership. I cant say enough about how much I appreciate the Service Department and how they handled my situation today. Everyone is busy and they went above and beyond!

Chris was extremely timely, kind, efficient and thorough. My wait time was much less than I’ve had to wait for similar services at other dealerships. While I waited, the facilities were clean and the WiFi was great so I could get some work done! I already knew Penske was great (because I’ve bought several cars from them in the past), and this experience was no different!

Penske service people are incredibly friendly and treat me like a VIP every time I’m there. I was in and out in 35-40 minutes on my lunch. I received suggestions on what needed service and what that would cost. Great experience overall
Generally good and efficient...but!! Penske Honda is where I bought the car, have had all my service, records etc., my info pops up when I call in. When I called for an appointment they had my records. I had a service reminder that included replacing the transmission fluid. She said it would cost (a pricey I thought) $120 and they could do it quickly with my other work. But as I waited the service guy told me since this was an Accord Touring Turbo it would take about 2 hours and $290! Big difference. The service guy apologized and given the sticker shock and wait time I said some other time. For a place that in the past had their stuff together it was a little disappointing. The service guy said when I have the work done he will give me the employee discount. Thanks for that, but my advice to you is to watch out for such lapses.
Service advisor was very friendly and explained all the estimated charges in detail. They kept me in the loop in terms of the service and when they ran across a cosmetic issue they found when my car was on the lift, they asked me before doing any work. Everyone was very friendly. Thanks!

I had made an appointment and after a friendly greeting and discussion about the length of time repairs would take, I waited in the comfortable lounge. The time guesstimate was accurate. Checkout was fast and the work done explained

Our 2010 Fit was the subject of a recall that involved the driveshaft. Dropped it off at 8:00. The service tech said it could take up to 4 hrs. They offered me a ride home so I could avoid waiting. The driver was a blast. She offered to return later to take me back to pick up my car. Around 10:40 I received a call and text indicating my car was ready. The car runs as it normally does so I assume the problem is fixed.
Chris did a wonderful job! He was friendly, efficient, and did a great job explaining what happened with my battery and assured me that a full inspection was done so I had peace of mind that it was just a faulty battery and not additional issues.
They were able to get my car in for a flat tire when no other Honda dealer could! And they had great communication with me on the status.

This is my second time getting my vehicle serviced here. The facility is well kept and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I came in to get my oil and transmission fluid changed as well as a tire rotation. It didnt take very long and they even washed my car! When I went to pay, the technician informed me that my battery was getting close to needing to be replaced and asked if I would like to get a new one. I told him that I would but Im pretty broke right now. This man gave me a discount without me even asking! So I want to give a big shout out to my man Clark for being so kind and friendly and professional. You da real MVP! I will be taking my vehicle here for all of my future servicing needs for sure. Thank you Clark!

I had an appointment at 8:00 a.m. I arrived at 7:50 and by 7:56 they were helping me and were ready to take the car for the “recall issue.”
Always take care of me, my only complaint is that it took a little longer than I would have expected basic maintenance would have, but not a deal breaker.
No issues, it’s just amazing to me that it costs $95 dollars for an oil change. Just an obnoxious amount of money for a few mins of service.
Since we were driving home to Holland, Mi from Florida, it was an emergency situation. They took us in, fixed the problem and we were on our way. The service was excellent, from the gentleman helping us at check to the serviceman that fixed the car!

Screen interface not working correctly and never has worked right. Had the service advisor address this and he said it wasn’t covered. Although the sales person that sold me my car and the extended warranty said everything but hitting curbs were covered. Not true. I have buyers remorse and the aging technology cannot keep up with your phone. Karen estridge reached out to me about my service and satisfaction and she didn’t even respond to my email/concerns. All around unfortunate and disappointing. I will NOT be buying another Honda or be supporting this dealership. 75 minutes for an oil change is NOT express service. Go somewhere else for faster and better service and care. My next car will be a Toyota!-an honest review-Adam
