Solid guys helping an out of towner, they were busy but able to fix a nail for me. Thanks again!!!
Awesome service! They took care of us really fast and efficiently. Thank you!
I called Brian on a snowy day, almost lunch time, with a blown tire and the rest needing replaced. He had the tires delivered from another store and all replaced by 5pm. I didnt even drop the car off until 3:30. Mind you it was last minute on a snowy day.Absolutely outstanding to say the least. Brian handled my lack of preperation like it was his own problem. I was prepared to rent a car for a few days. I never expected anything to happen before Monday, more or less the same afternoon.
I would highly recommend avoiding this place.Would give a 0/5 if possible.I took my car with brand new wheels and tires mounted by myself less than 12 hours ago to have my new tpms sensors recalibrated, the mechanic gets into the car to drive it from the front to the work area, but he stalls the car at least 4 times (my car is stick) and then drives it into their bay and when he’s pulling into one of the spots with a lift, he hits the front right wheel on the lift arm. I was watching this whole thing take place from inside. He gets out, tries to reset the tpms and fails to do so saying their machines don’t work with my car, and then drives the car out again and walks away. The representative comes and tells me their machine cannot work with my car and therefore I don’t have to pay anything, and gives me the keys. When I come outside to check my car, I see a big dent on my new wheel. I call the representative outside and show him the wheel and he agrees with me that it was their fault. The mechanic walks over to look at it and just walks away not even bothering to apologize. Then I ask them what the solution is for this, they stated I should go buy a new rim myself and bring the receipt and they will refund me for the damaged wheel, but they don’t want to give me anything in writing stating this happened or they are taking responsibility but I should merely trust his word. I requested for the manager but he’s “not available”.I left and went back the next day to speak to the manager, manager comes out of his office not even wearing a mask and starts yelling at me stating he cannot give me anything in writing but for me to go buy a new wheel and bring back the receipt and he will pay for it. I should just trust his word. When I asked for his card that states he’s the manger, he refused for that too stating he hasn’t got one and he starts raising his voice again saying the same thing, still wearing no face mask.I took a video of this whole encounter of him yelling at me and I also saved my car DashCam video of the mechanic driving my car and hitting it. Then I left and called customer service to make an official complaint about everything. 3 days later I get a call stating that customer service will deposit money to my bank account for the cost of my wheel replacement. However even customer service didn’t want to apologize for the behavior of the manager yelling at me and not wanting to give me an official statement saying they damaged my wheel and will replace it.
Never again. How you tell me about a policy of must replace all 4 tires due my tread on tires. But yet.. you dont even have stock on the tires I would need. I came in for one tire replacement due to a screw and that couldnt happen.
Had a tire repaired successfully and put back on quickly and efficiently
10/10 experience. Incredibly kind, and knowledgeable staff. Came in for an oil change and while I was waiting I observed the gentleman at the front counter provide high quality service to ever customer that came in. PLUS Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins was on the TV.
Helpful and fast!
I love the downtown location. Its so convenient, and the staff always goes out of their way to make sure I am kept in the loop regarding any repairs or maintenance that my car needs. Jesse at this location is a absolute pro! I always know I am in good hands whenever I see him.
Always there when you need them. Convenience is awesome, being right downtown. They have great customer service, theyre friendly and easy to understand. They explain things very well and only did what I really needed done.
Quick service, had to have my starter replaced. My car was towed there, they did the diagnostic & called me with the results $600, done the next day. The service people were very kind and knowledgeable.
Repaired tires that tires plus didnt do correctly. Brand new tires that were installed but went flat the next day by tires plus sad but true.
I got a flat. I have the road service plan. They said that the tire wasnt reparable. It took awhile to get the tire that I needed but these things happen. While I was waiting, U decided to get a needed oil change.qqq
My experience was wonderful from start to finish. I made an appointment online to have my oil changed and get a few other things checked out on my Jeep, dropped it off before 8am, and I heard back from Jesse by 10:30.Jesse gave me a breakdown of what needed to be done on my vehicle. There were more issues than I thought there would be, and I told him I wouldn’t be able to afford getting everything done right away. I am pretty much clueless when it comes to cars, and he helped me prioritize what needed to happen right away vs. what could wait - and how long I could wait before the other things really became an issue. He was extremely pleasant over the phone, and patient with me as I tried to decide how to proceed. When I picked up my vehicle, Joyce was extremely kind and pleasant. I had some questions about my bill, and she answered them clearly. The folks here are kind, trustworthy, and just a pleasure to work with. I will certainly be going back.
This place id pretty cool. Nice location. I received one of the best customer servcie at a fair price.
I went here for some tires to be installed on a spare car. Surprisingly well priced, helpful, quick and when they looked at another issue with the car they didnt charge me when they could not figure it out. Very impressed despite some of the other reviews. Not a super fancy place, but they got eight to business and charged a fair price.
Terrible customer service. I had an oil change & they forgot to reset the oil change signal & they said to bring it back & it wouldn’t take long at all. The guy at the desk today said it was something that they couldn’t do today & that everyone in the back had their hands tied ...so, I guess it’s my fault that the Firestone employee forgot to reset the signal in the first place?!?!
This place has been beyond excellent fixing my vehicle. I hit a pothole on my way into work and they were able to work with me immediately. Joyce is the definition of great customer service. Unsure why such an overall poor rating, I would definitely recommend them!Edit: Joyce is excellent, but the overall service is not. My car was returned to me and when I drove it home the tire was immediately flat. They towed it back to their shop but could not fix it so I was stuck with having to tow it back to my house which they would not work with me on. If they knew they did not have the capability to fix rims (mine was so bent it would not hold air) I wish they would have told me that instead of taking it back. They made things harder than they needed to be. Will not be returning.
My tire was having some issues holding air and it had road hazard so I brought it on in. I decided to stick around while they worked on it and was pleasantly surprised it was done within like 1-1.5 hours. I go to drive off and as soon as I hit 20mph I hear a noise. Uh oh. So back I go. They were so nice and they not only fixed it right away (it just needed a slight weight adjustment) but they also reset the check engine light light that had popped up on my dashboard, which they definitely didnt have to do and I super appreciated bc I didnt wanna have to read the manual to fix it myself.
From out of town and our first night in we hit a pot hole and had a flat tire. Had our car towed to firestone and dropped our key off with instructions in the drop box. The next morning I called them to let them know and they were already working to fix it. Great great great service!! Joyce was so nice and they had everything read for us by 10am the next day! And for an amazing price too! It’s nice to see that they did not take advantage of our desperate situation!! Would highly recommend
I was traveling from out of state. I had a flat tire. They couldve taken me for a new tire and I wouldnt have known any better. These guys had some great integrity and only repaired the tire. Thank you for your great customer service.
If I could give zero stars, I would!!! Yesterday I noticed that my tire had a slow leak and took my car into the Keystone location where I normally go. They fixed the slow leak and I was on my way. I woke up this morning to my tire completely flat so I called my insurance company and had it towed to the downtown location because it was closer to my home. Before I had the car towed I called this location and asked if they had time to service my vehicle today, the man said yes. After my car was towed there I received a phone call from the store stating they could not get to my car today. I could not believe it and respectfully requested that my car be fixed today. My tires and warranty are from Firestone and I did not want to take my car elsewhere. I leave tomorrow for a week and need my car. After several minutes of discussing this the man finally gave in. When I asked for a manager I was told he was at lunch. I receive another call two hours later stating that my brakes were bad, my ball joints were bad, my sensors were bad, my two front tires were bad, and my check engine light was now on when it was not when I started it in the morning and a total of $2,000 of work needed to be done on my car. Yesterday at the Keystone store they told me I had another year on the tires, they had over 50 percent tread, they were purchased last year and made no mention of any other issues. This downtown store advised me that because of my ball joints the warranty on the tires that I purchased was now invalid. The only reason I buy tires through Firestone is because of the great warranty. The new tire was going to cost me $150.00. The employee, Jesse said I needed to come look at my car....I was at work and unable to get away...are you serious? Just fix what I asked to be fixed. I called the Keystone store and talked about what was going on and inquired as to why they did not find any of the other problems when I brought the car in yesterday and that Jesse was charging me for a tire when I have a warranty. The store manager at Keystone said he would call me back. Within five minutes The Keystone manager called me back, apologized profusely, stated that this downtown store does things a little different and said that he charged two new tires to his stores account and offered to replace the sensor. I remarked several times that I could not believe that this was the same company. Please do not take your car to this downtown location, it was a disaster and so much stress dealing with them. The Keystone store has been my go to for over two years for all oil changes, tires, windshield wipers etc.
I dropped my truck of before 7:00 a.m. for a schedules 10:00 a.m. appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and check a leaky tire. I called at 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. and was told it would be done at 5:00 p.m. I went and picked it up with a sorry and I had it scheduled to be done by 5:00 p.m. Wouldve been nice to have been told that this morning. I use to have great service their, the excuse was: I only have one guy that does that work. I will not be going back to that location again.
Ive been taking my cars to Firestone for nearly 5 years and have always had a great experience. Mostly oil changes, alignments, and tires. Good prices and very convenient if you work downtown since they will drive you to your office when you drop your car off.
This branch is really good. It is the place where I usually get my vehicles oil change for the last 7 years. The labor who is doing it is really professional (comparing to some other bad experience I have had). The staff usually nice but not all the time.
Took my car in to patch a tire. Turns out the valve stem was leaking. They said they could try to rebuild the valve stem but called later saying they couldn’t. They pushed me off on the dealer for a repair. Overnight the tire was flat and I had to find a way to take the tire elsewhere. The next day putting the tire on I noticed the plastic splash shields under the car are all missing. A call back to firestone and they didn’t bother to see if the tech removed them just insisted they wouldn’t have removed them yet my car hasn’t moved and that would be quite loud to run over had it fallen off!Definitely won’t be returning and not recommending this shop.
I visited this facility on a Wednesday with a slow leak in one tire. They only had two people working and said come back tomorrow so I did. I left my car after being told it would be ready at 6:00 PM (seven hours later) and left my phone number. No one called so I went back at 6:00 PM and they said computer lost my phone number. I was told the tire couldnt be fix and they didnt have that tire in stock. I took my car to a Tire Barn, they patched the tire with a single patch/plug free while I waited.
My front brakes were shot - they installed them correctly. BUT THEY DID NOT BLEED THE BRAKES PROPERLY, and it cost me money to have it done because I could not drive the car in that state. Will not be coming back.
Hit a pothole and started to hear a humming noise and asked if they could take a look. Asked the guy on the phone and he said they would take a look. Dropped the car off and explained the situation. He said they would take a look. They called me back (after leaving my car there for two days) and said it was ready to go. First thing I asked was if they fixed the humming noise. His response... I dont know anything about a humming noise. Thatll be $26. !?! I dont know what they did but I paid it just to get the hell out of there and to NEVER GO BACK!! They are either too busy or most likely too incompetent to care about your car so I HIGHLY advise choosing another place to fix your car.
Friendly staff, fast service, but they tried to rip me off. I took my car in for a check engine light flashing and some rumbling figuring it was misfiring. They told me I needed the 6 spark plugs changed and an ignition coil. Fine. But they quoted me at $1198 for just those repairs. After I said no thanks and called another place for a more reasonable quote, Firestone called me back and said their system had a malfunction and accidentally quoted me at double the price and that the correct price for the work was around $640. Cliche mechanics trying to gouge customers. Any mechanic would know right away that $1200 for spark plugs and a coil is insane. Last time I go there.
In the heart of downtown Indy. They do good work and are an easy way to get service done on your car on a workday for those of us who work downtown. I can walk to and from my office when I drop my car with them.
Dont bother using their online appointment system. This Firestone isnt the only one having this issue either.Second time today Ive scheduled an appoint at a Firestone (I tried two), then was called and told that they couldnt do it at the time I scheduled.I dont know if the website (which only seems to work in Internet Explorer, retro!) doesnt take account for their close times, how long a job takes, things currently on their schedule or what, but a scheduling system shouldnt be this hard. When you schedule an appointment, set up a ride for your child at preschool, ask your boss to take off early TWICE, and then have to cancel all the arrangements and figure it out again, yes, a little frustrating.
The people there are nice and the service is quick and friendly however it is quite incorrect. I had a seal broken in my rear axle. This seal costs $20. They had told me that I needed to replace my entire axle which would cost me around $600/axle. I looked at it for myself and didnt see the damage they had suggested. I was also told that the car was completely unsafe to drive, and after 3 outside opinions, it was concluded that they were lazy and just suggested to replace the whole part instead of repairing it. I assume if you know what you need and ask for it specifically the staff could handle the job. However I would avoid for any diagnosis needs.
They provided Good customer Service . My vehicle was done a lot sooner than anticipated. Overall, satisfied Customer!
I just got an oil change last Friday. I noticed massive oil spots on the ground under the car today when I walked out of work. When I got home I noticed oil spots every place I’ve parked since last Friday. The underside of my car is completely covered in oil and I’ve lost over 4 quarts of the new oil. I paid over $100 for the oil change and this is what I get? I am taking my car to my regular mechanic tomorrow morning to get it diagnosed and fixed. I’ll go back to Firestone on Monday and hopefully they will make it right and give me a refund. We’ll see.
Best customer service and friendly worker at this place. Fixed my car quickly and charged me with a decent price.
Asked then to check my breaks during a routine oil change, they said they were fine. Currently have to replace a rotor now due to breaks being gone.
Firestone is an Autobile repair & Tire business. You need tires then we all know Firestone. They have about 8 or More mechanics here on duty dont quote me!. And they do a very professional job in repairing your car that cost.
Super expensive! They changed Honda 2009 air filter 32$!While the Honda genuine is almost 20!And the part# they used only 8$ online available! The worst in scheduling and time management! One star just for their acceptable shuttle service to downtown region!NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
Had complete brakes done. Upsold rotors from never turned old ones to new ones. I was told by several mechanics since was not necessary. 6 months later brakes are squealing, chirping and occasionally sticking. Have been told brake job was poorly done. Work nearby so it was convenient but not worth the aggravation.
This time it was a pleasant experience, they didnt overload me with stuff that my car needed but offered a print out and the technician Jesse did a great job as always!
Awful diagnosis. About $1000 quote. Next place I went to showed me most of diagnosis was flat out lie and only charged me $350 for same work. Do not go here. (Font desk lady was nice though)
They fixed my tire and alignment so fast and stayed in touch with me to give me the details of what’s going to happen!
Subpar service twice. Called to schedule an oil change and they said just bring it in. Brought it in and they said they were to busy to service that day. One of the guys just stands around looking out the window all day I am pretty sure.Just called again to schedule service and got the bring it in whenever line. When I told them I would like a guaranteed appointment time I was given the run around that they cant promise anything. They are just guarding their laziness. If a shop cannot make me a guarantee on actually receiving service, how does that speak to the quality of their service.Take your vehicle to the Firestone on Keystone just north of 62nd. Much more professional service.
Was surprised to see such low reviews. Cant speak to the experience everyone else is reporting, but my experience was a good one. Dropped the car off at 10:00, ready for pickup at 1:30, and they did the job for a reasonable price. I will likely come here again.
This place is absolutely awful. So bad that this is my first ever negative review on a company Ive put online. The manager, Bob, reminds you of a used car salesman. They work to get over on you with price, and have no sense of customer service. Go to the Bridgestone right down the road.
Consistently provide excellent service for both of my vehicles year after year.
Not sure why you have an option on your website to make an appointment online if you are just going to call and take all of the same information over the phone. If I wanted to set it up on the phone, I would have called.
No trust. Bad diagnosis if more money to be made. Did not honor warranty. Lots of experiences with myself and family. Go to CarEx at 16th and Shadeland instead. Always honest and good.
Great people even gave me an internet coupon I didnt know existed.
I have 5 year warrant on my car tires, I leave home to go pick my kids up and notice my air pressure light was on, and it was 20 on the right side so I went to closest firestone with my kids, the older lady at the desk was very rude, she told me to come back in two days like really you want me to ride off on a flat, talking about she only go one one worker and their air hose is inside the shop.. So I ask her so you really you cant have him to check my tire so I can get home safely with my kids, she got mad and said just pull around back. I will never come to this location again.
Took truck in for a balance and rotate and got call that my bearing assembly was bad. Was quoted $383 plus tax for bearing. I specifically asked if it was a bad assembly or if it was loose bolts. BIG surprise I took it home and found 1 loose bolt (out of 3) and one bolt missing. Since I am a shade tree mechanic Icaught the problem, but 99% of the population would have paid for unnecessary repairs. I have to give them a bad review not for bad repairs but for being lazy and not checking the obvious.
I went in for an oil change and came out with a mysterious check engine light on that wasnt there when I took it in. When I brought it to the attention of the man behind the counter he then tried to sell me other services and things to fix the pre-existing problem with my car. I had my car checked by a different Mechanic and they payed with my sensors to make it look like something was wrong that wasnt.
Took forever and failed to top off anything, including windshield fluid.
They get one star for not losing my keys. Needed a standard rear brake job. Got a call from Bob...said I need new everything. (Calipers, rotors...the works. $670) BS. Told Bob to put it back together and do no work. Hustled down there and took car 3 blks north to Goodyear. Brake job done. New pads, turn rotors (which Bob said couldnt be done) calipers in fine shape. $210 total. Couldnt be happier w Goodyear...Couldnt be more disappointed w Bob and Firestone if theyd set my car on fire. Simply lying to sell...boost revenue, and therefore, his own bonus. Tried to scare me into staying by telling me how much damage Id do driving anywhere with my brakes in such bad shape. Simple BS. Avoid this particular shop...or prepare to hear the same pitch. I guarantee it. A complete waste of my time, but not my money -- thank goodness.Update Aug 2018: Just sold this car, STILL had same calipers and rotors Bob said needed to be replaced so long ago...and all were functioning just fine.
Always take care of me
Will NOT reccommend this place. Advertised $89 diagnostics and ended up being $189 for an oil change and reading the codes! This was after a phone conversation stating the original $89 price. Then they try to come up with $2000 of needed repairs - they are purposly in business to take advantage of people. Stay away.
Charged more than twice the amount as Goodyear 2 blocks north. Told me one price Monday, but once it was in the shop, it doubled. A/C recharge doesnt cost $277. Avoid these people!
Moov poo. Bmb pppm
I called early in the morning to see about getting the air checked in my tires later that morning. The guy said to bring it on in and nothing about having to schedule an appointment. I get there at 11:30am on my lunch break and they can’t do it until after 5:00pm. Drove down the street to Goodyear, they told me to pull around, checked/filled my tires right then, at no charge and with a smile. Goodbye Firestone, Hello Goodyear.
This is a gteat firestone. They always fix my problems very quickly.
Got my aLignment fixed it was still off had to take it else where not to mention the guy was not nice
Its right by my job convenience
Nice location at the Indianapolis down.
Been here numerous times. Never gave the feel like they were trying to rip me off. I usually just get oil changes though. Take the shuttle to work and drop your car off if you work downtown. Let them change your oil while you wait.
Oil change - had coupon but they didnt call about the oil - automatically used Dex, higher priced - staff offered at least $10 off since I didnt get $18.99. Also didnt discuss any other issues mentioned on my ticket! Service has gone down since previous years Ive had service here
The worst experience ever. They ruined my car because they forgot to put the oil cap back on after a routine oil change. Refused to make it right or refund me as well and refused to take fault. They are extremely rude and shouldnt be trusted to do anything to a car.
They were pretty goddamn slow but they were sorry that they were slow and they were very nice to me
Nice people, fair prices.
Went to get my tire patched. they said they couldnt take my car and that it had to be kept over night or brought in to morning with over an hour left.
They were unwilling to even look at my car, saying it would take too long.
Terrible service, just recently spent 1200 in un needed repairs. They are crooks. Bob can barely take car of himself let alone a store.
Terrible
Friendly
Fast service
No service.
Very cute and very cool Uff chulada
