Fast, reasonable price, and very customer service oriented. I called ahead to find out if they could get an oil change and state inspection done. They were quick to pick-up the phone and the price was reasonable. So I headed there. He took time to greet me as he finished up with another customers car. Then, immediately took care of my car. From the time I called to when I got back home was less than an hour! Carlos was personable and professional. Good experience today. Thanks!

I received a Groupon for an oil change. The Groupon required an appt. I called, the associate asked what type of engine I had. I told him I was unsure. He said it would cost 8-18 dollars extra depending on the size of the filter. He said but I will see you tomorrow at noon. My husband went the next day for the appt. He called and said an appt was never made, he didn’t have the filter on hand, and that it cost 23.75. None of this info is what he gave me! I will never go here again!

This guy knows his stuff, has no problem explaining something if you dont understand, and gives great pricing. He is honestly probably one of the best mechanics we have ever met, my family, and my parents and neighbors all use him.Side note, hes got a sense of humor too, just an all around excellent man that gives amazing service, could not rate high enough.

Im so happy with the service I received from Mr. Rojas. He squeezed me in and fixed my car in a timely manner. It was making noises when I turned corners and turned out it needed a wheel bearing fixed and a part. He ordered the part this morning and had everything fixed by mid afternoon. It would have cost several hundred more to have it fixed at the dealership. Now my car runs perfectly and is so quiet on the road!

Odd but Ive somehow had a completely different experience compared to these other reviewers. Ive taken my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder to Star Automotive maybe a half dozen times over the past 2-3 yrs for issues and the fix has always been quick/easy/inexpensive. The shop is pretty close to our neighborhood which makes it convenient for my wife and I.

Carlos has wonderful customer service and always does a wonderful and quick job for a great price. When I moved here I wasn’t sure who I could trust to work on my car but I fully trust Carlos! I highly recommend him for any work you need to get done on your vehicle!

Negative stars, terrible business- Booked an oil change and tire rotation. Owner Carlos worked on my car and forgot to bolt in my tire. I drove 50 ft and my car collapsed to the ground.My car dropped to a stop, the impact ruined my suspension, fender, car wheel ect. I called the owner Carlos Rojas who had just worked on my vehicle. I told him he did not bolt in my tire and he came out to the scene. A police man was close by and a local civilian reattached my tire. I called my insurance provider. Carlos doesnt have business insurance. He wrote a statement of fault and that he would cover the damages. He has not paid anything to date 11/29/18 ( 8 months later) I agree, he is a crook.

Carlos is no mechanic! He is a crook! He marks up his parts 100% or more and doesnt have set labor price but goes in flat rate manual price and time guide line. I took him a car with a bad wheel bearing and took my own part. He proceeded to tell me that the car wasnt making any noise with the wheel bearing, every person who has ever riddin in the car the noise was the first thing the noticed but a supposed mechanic didnt hear it? then the very first thing he does is say that the axle on the car is unrepairable and he would fix the wheel bearing unless I paid him 450$ to do axle. This guy is the definition of a shade tree non ethical mechanic. I am hesitant to take my cars to a mechanic as I used to be one my self and he is what gives mechanics bad names! The funny part of it all is that I go to pick up the car after he told me that the wheel bearing was bad after all and that now the car make more and worse noise then when I originally took it to him. There is a reason this guy advertises on craigslist. He cant get repeat business because he is out to rip you off and do half ass work. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS. He isnt cheap or good at his job call somewhere else to have them do the work. There are two shops beside him that will surely do better jobs at same cost.

My experience with this business was unprofessional and rude. I had a Groupon for a oil change. The owner told me that there was oil disposal fee in addition. The Groupon said nothing about a fee to disposal oil. When i questioned the charge The owner refuse my service and told me to get a refund from Groupon. I never ever ever experience anything like this before. Proceed with extreme caution...especially if you are...well I going to leave it like that ....

This guy Carlos is a straight up crook!!!! Went in for a simple repair & was told my car needed about $1,000 worth of work! I totally wasnt feeling his quote so I ended up going for a second opinion and my issue was resolved for $30 bucks!!!! Ran into a few people that said he got over on them too! Very dishonest and he loves to get over on people that dont know about cars!!! Stay away from this guy!!!! So glad I went with my instincts!!!

I don’t often leave reviews for businesses, but I feel obligated to warn potential customers. I purchased a very appealing Groupon for an oil change. It clearly stated that it only covered 5qts of oil and there was an additional service fee. Upon arrival, I was warned that “older cars sometimes take more oil”. My car is a 02 Ford V6. It takes 5qts of oil. I suspected he would charge for an extra qt and sure enough... When I asked him he became visibly frustrated and explained to me that the manufacturer specs are estimates. I agreed, but told him about the oil usage history, at which he claimed Ive been doing this for a long time. Again, no doubt, but doing something wrong for a long time doesnt make you an expert and I didnt appreciate the way in which he handled my questions. It’s only $5 and change but bad business nonetheless. The total cost came out to that of a normal oil change. There was no deal to be had here. Bad marketing. Be careful. Check your specs. Consider a better rated servicer.

Went for an inspection and he couldnt tell me why I failed just that it was bad steering no answer I am a mechanic and he saw my clothes so he said your the mechanic you fix it! Very very rude! Dosent know how to handle customers Dosent deserve to be in such a good location dont let this crook take your money goto the shops right next door there great and dont disrespect you.

This guy carlos is a big crook .Dont go there, I should read the reviews before I went there, he is so rode and charge $80 for a diagnostic test. He charged me $700 and fix half the issue and cleared all codes, then when I went back for the same problem, he wanted to charge another $80 for something he should tested already. And He changed a part that should not be changed and not sure if he really changed it :/
