I used to love shopping here but they no longer allow anyone to use the fitting rooms and I am one that can not but clothes until I try it on. They say its because of Covid but other thrift and department stores are accommodating to customers needs. They lost a customer until they’re change their policy back
The prices seem to have increased considerably in the last year or so, and the dressing rooms are still closed. The return policy has improved a bit (you now have 14 days as opposed to the ‘all sales final’ policy that was recently in place), but come on. Also, they are so weird about where the check out line begins. That sounds petty, but go see for yourself. It’s hard to return to a thrift store that is expensive and complicated.
Great thrift store! I really liked how nice and clean and organized it was. You can go straight to the sizes and type of clothing. I dont mind paying a few dollars more for an item. Although, they do have a certain color at half price and another at 30% and they did have plenty of those colors throughout the store. I definitely will be back! Dont mind the drive because its worth it!
Love this Thrift Store but unfortunately the dressing rooms are still closed as of 9/27/2021. With their return policy you’re able to exchange items for store credit within a 14 day period then after the 14th day you’re stuck with the items you have. :-(
I used to shop here all the time, but it seems like they have raised the prices considerably on everything. Ive seen as much as $16-$20 for a used blouse just because its a name brand. They also changed their policy on clothing missing a tag, usually a manager will give you a price for it. I found a shirt here and they wouldnt even sell it to me because it was missing a tag. The cashier just took it. Really off putting after I searched for an hour and only came up with a couple items. Poor customer service and a loss on a sale.
Great choices, but still no dressing room acess.
Good thrift store. Decent price and good selection. Clothes are clean and scent free. Helpful workers.
Pretty good thrift store. Huge selection. Very well organized. Some really great deals, other stuff is way over priced. Overall, great store.
Omg the lady there was so rude my first time I said this doesn’t have a tag can u price it and she told me to read the sign I get we are on a hiring freeze but my god just awfull
PLEASE STOP WITH THE NON-TAG ITEMS ON YOUR SHELVES!! The second time in a month I rolled around with something in my car that did not have a tag on it it was a lampshade I looked at all the other lamp shades I know what they cost I was willing to pay the range of price and I didnt really look for a price tag. However when I got to the checkout stand I was not permitted to buy it even though I said please put another price on it Im not telling you what the price should be $399-499 whatever no maam we cannot sell it to you. Can I speak to a manager? No maam its our policy. But its broken already and Im going to have to fix it can you just put a price on it by the time you get it through the warehouse again its going to be even more damaged. No maam Im sorry. This is the most absurd policy I have ever heard please stop it get it together
It was a good stor and it has a lot to look at. just there girls bathroom was kinda nasty when I went
I adore this place the clothes and shoes are clean not tattered and stinky. The other tbings they have for sale are not new but worn in just right, the prices are low and perfect!! And the staff is allways helpful especially the manager sbeis the beat she goes above and beyondto make sure you have a spot on shopping experience!!! And she is so sweet !!!! I would highly recomend texas thrift for all your thrifting needs!!!!!
One of the best thrift stores around!! I found a 2000$ babylock serger with all the attachments and even a handmade book with examples of every stitch the machine does. I’ve also found all kinds of other great deals here, but I don’t want to make y’all jealous, so I’ll just stop with the details because believe me, you wouldn’t believe me if I did tell you the great things I’ve found here. They put out loads and loads of new stuff all the time so it pays to go multiple times a week even. You never know what u will find unless you take my advice and go search for that thing u never knew u needed but finally found it. Tell them I sent you and they will give u everything free, just kidding, but u can try it anyway... lol
Calling the manager manny in the morning cause the cashier. Damien was very rude and so was the assistant manger tyler is very rude😡😡😡 i called to complain to get the corporate office number and He hung up on me i have never and i mean never been treated that way from the store and I spent almost a 100 dollars in there but never again
Disappointing to purchase a bunch of breakable things and have to ask multiple times to wrap the breakables.
Best prices in the area! Love this place ❤
It good yeah but the toys part is amtey plz if its got full same day tall me
Cool store but prices are a bit high.
Always well organized and a good selection.
Found some really nice American Eagle button down shirts for my boyfriend that looked brand new! The holiday discount really helped me save money as well. The cashier was really nice as well
I always always find something good when I come in here lots of name brand stuff for a good price and the manager is always on top of whats going on. The only thing I wish they would fix, literally the only thing, is to get their air conditioner fixed because it gets HOT in there but other than that I love this thrift store!
I love this place! I swear I could spend all day there. Today I found this beautiful table cloth for just four bucks! Prices are higher than goodwill but in my opinion they have better stuff so it’s worth the few extra bucks for certain items
Short staffed. No masks at all by staff or customers. No social distancing. Announcements overhead require masks but no one enforced it.
My favorite thrift.
Great cloths and great prizes on merchandise for a good cause and charity.
Was ok but noticed some woman purse missing or something overheard lady call on phone about some mexicans instead of a customer big line standing there mostly hispanic
Over priced items. You will have better luck at Goodwill. I only found 2 or 3 childrens books that were a decent price. Very used kids clothing were running for $4 and up, used coffee mugs for $5 and broken toys were way overpriced.. Pretty disappointed.
Great inventory and selection on really nice clothes and accessories, but the there really need to clean the store. The ladies bathroom is absolutely gross, and dirty, there was hardly any hand soap, there was only two working toilets, unclean with poop stains, it smelled like somebody had died in there. It made me want to run out of there and go home, jump in the shower and scrub myself clean.
Good selections. But high prices. And you have to wear a mask or get kicked out even if you are old and with a child. I told them I had health issue and it didnt matter to them. They were very unorganized and rude and how They handle the customers. Very dictating. A young child is a manager there.. Be safe when going by.. They had lost a customer from here on. And i had already had my things ready to pay and about 20 minutes inside they said to leave while I was in front of line about to pay..
Great selection of clothing for kids
Still love this store but liked it better when sorted by size And color. prices continue to clim; but they still have 2 tag colors on sale. men and boys clothes have best quality and selection.
Texas thrift is awesome. Large store, clean as Id expect a thrift store to be, and plenty of junk to dig through. Ive volunteered at goodwill, and you wouldnt believe how much good stuff they toss out. Sometimes they dont know what it is, other times they cant test it, or they just dont have room on the shelf. It makes me sick. Pretty sure they dont do that here, I always find something cool. Only beef would be the prices, especially on the mens shoes. But not a huge deal.
Easy parking. Not crowded in the store. Clothing and shoe selection is good.
Went in with a friend who was on need. Andrea was so helpful and nice. They had a great selection.
Overall a Very Good Store With Lots Of Selection. The Check Out Process Could Truly Improve
They always have my size. I actually like this place
So Im disappointed because there seems to be a trend with thrift store companies they get you in with good inventory and sales and then they JACK UP the prices. This is a thrift store Im not coming here to buy a $15 vase. Who do you think is shopping here I can get a $15 new that would be nicer and bigger at home goods or someplace like that Walmart even. You have literally dollar store finger paints and I know this brand because I shop there and youre selling this for $5 in your store? Why are you price gouging? Im seriously disappointedand Im giving you guys two stars in the hopes that youll improve and I will circle back when that happens but Im going to stop shopping here. Im an educated consumer and it doesnt make sense for me to pay $9 or something that I can get at a garage sale for $0.50.
Not impressed they have Walmart prices on Walmart worthy clothes. I can pay full price at Walmart for brand new items
The line was at least 30 people long. It smelled like cigarettes inside the building. The men’s bathroom had a huge puddle of pee on the floor and what looked like poop on top of the urinal. The bathroom smelled like something died in there. I will not be coming back.
Pricing is way too high. You can get mall brands new for just a little more then what they are charging. Some thing are in really bad condition but they still cost to much..
Its probably one of the best thrift stores in the area. They have deals and a pretty good selection.
Clean and organized. Not the best prices, but most things are bearable, some are not. Try it and make your own decision.
Decent enough thrift store. However, due to Covid19 they current do not allow returns AND they have closed their dressing rooms. Usually stores will offer one or the other to compensate so buyer beware! ((Makes pants shopping for women a bit difficult lol!))
My favorite, I drive up here every time I can be at the mid-cities.
I always find everything I need their for me and my family. Prices are great. Close to church.
Great place to shop for bargains! The staff is 👍
Such an amazing store really really good finds and and amazing prices my mom was able to buy 2 coach purse and 1 other purse and clothes for me and my sister and only spent $80
Very nice people and neat and well maintained
Definatly great deals, over the last year before COVID prices were getting over the top
I love this place! What an amazing selection of clothing, household goods, and so many wonderful treasures! The staff is all friendly and helpful. The store is well organized, clean, and inviting. I recommend coming here.
Good store! Clean and easy to find what you need. Perfect for quick ins and outs
This is one of the most organized and clean thrift stores Ive ever been to in my life. Everything is separated by jeans, shirts, sweaters, dresses, seasonal, and home goods. They even organize by color so its super easy to look through their racks if you are looking for something specific. The workers are always very helpful if you have questions as well. Definitely recommend this place. Its way better than any Goodwill.
Enjoy shopping here. Always a good find. Good prices. Parking is an issue.
Mask policy NOT enforced...
They have very good things and I often find good prices, the bad thing is that the cashiers do not want to apply the discounts of the day, I spend two times with a cashier of color I do not have his name and I just happened to a cashier named Rossy says in the receipt of my purchase, she charged me a 50% discount product, put it on one side and continued to collect and put the rest in the bag, before charging the last piece she wanted to charge again the one that had already put 50%, maybe they tell them to do that, or they charge them what they discount us, and they only do it with Hispanic people who believe they dont know how to defend themselves or with the Americans too, people who buy there, look carefully when theyre being charged, I dont know if I come back
Always find something there good prices too.
Senior day was not crowded due to black friday sale tomorrow.
I really enjoy this store. I go maybe once a month. My daughter gets taller by the week ! Today we found a size 10 pair of jeans for her (brand new, originally from GAP, still had the tags for $40.00) for $6.50!!! Along with several other pairs for about $2.00 (or less) each. Today I spent $23.25 for about 10 pairs of jeans, 2 shirts, and a dress for her. Half the cost of what the 1 pair of jeans would have been originally with taxes. Great customer service as always. I strongly dislike the Texas Thrift on Cooper in Arlington though and I miss Thrift Town on Abrams a lot.
This place is amazing! Very well organized, well priced, and great customer service. Was able to hit a back to school sale and shop for clothes for 7 children at a little over $100! We drove an hour and a half to come here and it didnt dissapoint! We will be returning customers for sure
The store has a good lay out it was very heavily stocked most likely because they are a bit overpriced.
Pretty much the best Thrift Store (although I can only compare it to the Goodwill here). We moved to Texas from Utah, which is the home of Deseret Industries thrift stores, which really *is* the best thrift store anywhere. But Texas Thrift is a pretty close competitor. I hate going to thrift stores and essentially paying the same price as new. Texas Thrift typically has great prices. The only thing I have ever seen overpriced is shoes. They priced some toddler Champion shoes at $15 once, which is just about what you would pay brand new for Champion brand toddler shoes. When I asked the cashier he said it was because of the brand and I told him that was silly and he said too bad. Ha. So I didn’t get them.Their sales are amazing when they do 50% off the whole store but be prepared to stand in a line that wraps all the way around the store. Totally worth it though to get 50% off. This is our go-to thrift store.
Love this store. Well organized, lots of nice people on staff, helpful and give you whatever discounts they can. There is always a lot of stuff and I like that so I usually find what I need!
I was impressed with how easy it was to locate what I was looking for. The shirts I looked at were all good quality, clean, no stains or holes. I wish I could have looked longer but Im from out of town.
The people are nice. The store is clean. Restroom is clean. Variety of clothing and other stuff
My favorite thrift store in the area. Very organized and clean. The best place for clothing. I always find something. They sell good quality items and the profits go to charity. Not great with household items but they always have a color tag of the day sale and 50% off on holidays
This was my second visit here. Its a big store with a broad variety of 2ND hand clothing. Even with its big selection, its still hard to find my sizes as I am not your average size. I manage to walk away with jeans, sweats and other items that are my size as long as I am willing to spend time looking for it. This last time, I walked away with several pairs of used jeans and two new pairs of dress pants and a civilian- military pants for under $35. Im giving them four stars because the employees are great and for the merchandise they do have, its a great service.
This store plays games! I have been in the store early in the morning, and I have witnessed the employees REMOVING the vast majority of the clothes with the 50% off and 30% off colored tags of the day. So I stopped going for several months. On Friday I went there to browse. It was 50% off blue tags and 30% off white tags. I browsed the mens, and ladys department only to find an average of one of the colored discounted tags per clothing rack. So I left. This is akin to Target putting all their school supplies on sale, but hiding them in the back on sale day. But then offering you the more expensive office supplies instead. Texas Thrift Hurst uses MANIPULATIVE and DECEPTIVE practices. Texas Thrift Hurst... Please, get some integrity!
This place is very high priced the prices are for used stuff not new
Prices were slightly high for quality of the merchandise I purchased. Also you do not get a lid with the purchase of a skillet or pot, those have to be purchased separately which is ridiculous. You can get two skillets instead of getting a skillet and a lid for the same price.
Oh my where do i start, I love this place and on Mondays they pick 3 colors different every Monday this is one example:Blue $.99 centsYellow 50% offPink 30% offYes everything with a blue tag is a dollar and the store is clean and very well organized. The bathrooms are big and clean, the workers are awesome too. This is a great place to visit even on other days too the prices are very reasonable.
Nice thrift shop, although I thought some things were overpriced for being at a thrift store. But for the ms it part it was good. I bought a few things that were 50% off. So that was good. Very friendly cashier. Was pleased with the customer service. Ill go back.
I love a thrift store that has more then clothes and shoes. It has some home things as well. Love when i can snag a deal. Took my mom and she loved it as well. Employees were slow at the cashier they kept answering calls while ringing me up would stop to have a full convo on the phone. Other then that. I liked it and will be back.
I personally do not care for any thrift stores but when I moved to hurst we went here just to look around and I was really surprised it was a very nice building. The aisles were fairly clean, the customer service is quite good but the only thing is there is only 2 check out stands and can take a little while to check out but besides that I highly suggest you grab your phone,purse/bag and of course MONEY. Let’s go.
Had a great experience. Cashier was very pleasant and helpful. They announced when an all day 50%off sale would be. Ill be back.
I used to come here at least bi-monthly, but since their big changes have started, Ive stopped. The store is decently organized, but they are increasing their prices. I do not visit Goodwill for the same reason. They are selling donated goods, I dont want to spend $8 on a used shirt.
Love the large ever changing selection
They have some good stuff in there.
Got some great deals!
This is one of our favorite second hand shops & we love coming here. Until today were we were attended by a very rude cashier (white hair older female) we had clothes that the tags were ripped off & we asked a floor associate if they could tag it and they said to take it to the register and they would take care of it. Well I told her that they didnt have a tag and she said that she would have to take it to the people who work in the back. (Last time items didnt have a tag they called a manager to ask) well my dad asked do you know in how many days or hours will they have it back on the sales floor and she was really rude and (didnt scream loudly but you could tell that she was mad) said well I cant give you a price thats not my job there was no need to be rude or anything all we wanted to know was how long would it be until it was out on the floor again. When she was being snarky about it her manager was standing behind her and gave her a price for both items!! How hard was it to talk to a manager and ask about pricing. Will I be back? Yes, because store has good items. Wish customer service was better, but overall a good store.
Best thrift store around here for sure. Large selection of mens clothing too. And a lot of good shoes. Both mens and womens. I shop here a lot .
I only got into thrift stores in the last 2 or 3 years. I became a huge fan within the last year or so. I was looking for some good walking/gym going shoes for my husband and was interested in New Balance. Simple but functional. I found a pair on Amazon for under $30, which I thought was great. Went to the thrift store to kill time one weekend and found a pair of New Balance that were practically new and looked almost exactly like the ones I saw on Amazon. And the best part is that they were my husbands exact size AND on sale for $.99!!! I have found tons of great deals here. It satisfies my urge to spend without going crazy and also helps me practice patience. Hahaha. This store is very organized and I appreciate that very much. Nothing is more offputting than a messy, cluttered store. I love Texas Thrift Store!
Covid precautions in place. Organized.
I love Texas Thrift so I thought Id checkout this location since I have been to the Arlington and Irving ones. First thought, its small compared and not as good of a selection. I did find a couple things then proceeded to checkout. Couldnt tell where the line began and no one else was in line yet so I just stood behind the customer being checked out. Lady sees me and doesnt say anything. Runs around for price checks then when shes back at her register she yells around me for the next person in line, which apparently the start of the line is like 20feet from the registers and I just walk up and say I didnt see the sign back there and there wasnt anyone in line hence why I was standing there before others got in line. I said it was MT first time at that location she all she had was attitude. Yelling around me like if these people dont mind you cutting then okay and doesnt matter if its your first time here. I dont care. What trash. I told her put it all back and I left. Very rude staff. Very slummy store. Dont go to this location if you like Texas Thrift. I highly recommend the Arlington location.
Great selection of everything. Well organized. Found some pretty neat stuff. Weekly sales.
Awesome item for cheap
Friendly well organized and not cherry picked, you can find some really good deals here. One of the last of its kind for sure!!
Pretty cool place. I have found a ton of good things here. Great things for kids, adults and housewares too.
This thrift store is clean and has a large selection of items. Unfortunately, its getting harder and harder for me to find anything to buy here because they price their newer more updated items very high. Got lucky today though and scored a few things!
They have gone up on pricing but still cheaper than the Irving Texas Thrift
Love this place. But you have to watch the cashiers on sale days. They will charge you full price on sale items. But I love thrift shopping here.
Clean store,friendly staff
I would say one of the better stores i have been to. They had some nice clothes that were a little on the high side but it was easy to find some good brand clothing.
I never leave empty handed!! Not to mention the prices are phenomenal!!! Customer Service is NOT dead here their staff ROCKS!! You can always find a treasure at Texas Thrift Store!! I HIGHLY recommend you o atop in and shop here before you shop anywhere else, you will be GLAD YOU DID!! (Michael Kors taupe suede and brownsnake skin boots in pic purchased here less than $15!!)❤
I ALWAYS find something here...whether Im looking for something specific or not. Nice workers and good specials. Needs more fitting rooms, though.
