I chose Kinneys because they work on hybrids, and so many shops say they do not. The reviews on Google led me to believe that the folks there are honest and have integrity. I had what my oil change shop called a possible transmission leak, but they could not see any source for the leak. At Kinneys, Rich got it on the rack and assured me that there was no leak except from the oil filter that had just been changed! I also wondered if the coolant system needed flushing or the transmission fluid serviced even though that wasnt due for another 25K. Rich checked both fluids and said they were fine and no service was needed.The only recommendation was for a fuel injector flush and clean, as my mpg had dropped from about 37 to 32 recently. They did that while I waited. Today, a day later, my mileage is 38 mpg--almost the max possible for the car! GREAT SERVICE, HONESTY, and KNOWLEDGE.Highly recommended! I will return when I have any problem.

This place is a joke. YouTube mechanic your car and they are definitely not tire professionals. The guy back talking the service writer should have been a clue.

I recently had my 1997 Ford Ranger worked on June 2nd and 3rd of 2021. John took care of everything as I had just been there in November and December of 2020 for the same issues. Angel and Louis the technicians did great on my truck and now the issues are gone. Things just needed to be diagnosed further back in 2020. Fast and polite service. Went in for an alignment after replacing some parts and they were nice enough to quote me over the phone and had a spot ready for me when I pulled up. Would definitely come here again for my next car maintenance.

Someone tried to steal my catalytic converter and Kinneys got me in and fixed it within hours and saved me from getting a rental. They were very prompt and efficient. I had not been there before but I will be a returning customer for regular auto maintenance.

Very disappointed with Kinneys. I dropped my car off because it was idling rough at stop lights when a/c was on. I got a call, was told a/c was over heating and overtaxing engine. Said I needed a new a/c. I said that will be about $1600, had it replaced 2 years ago. He said no, only 1480. I told him even though my car was 2013 it had a 2014 a/c unit. He said he knew had put vin# in system for manufacture date. He said i needed new brakes and that would be $699. I knew I didnt need new brakes, but would be coming soon and that was a good price. I went to pick up car, no new a/c, just a $1400 tune up. He said he also did an oil cha.nge. I told him I didnt need an oil change, 6 weeks and 2k away. I also said I didnt authorize oil change. He took that off. Turns out the brake job quoted at $699 was double that. I would have taken to my regular mechanic if he had told me actual price. I paid, got in car and now a/c not working. It was working when I took car in, they told me they were replacing but didnt. I suspect when I pull out I will find out they didnt solve my rough idea problem either. I think they couldnt get the a/c in and needed to still get the dollar amount I has approved to meet quota. Word to the wise record all conversations with new or not recently used auto shops.

Felt comfortable being a first time customer. Ended up spending more than I planned, but not the shops fault. Got my repairs in a reasonable time. A blinker came loose that wasnt caught before leaving the shop, but I came back and they fixed it quick. Really no complaints.

Went in to see what was going on with my tire because it was slowly losing air. Turns out there was a huge screw in my tire! The customer service was amazing. I was in and out in 30-45 min, and they did not charge me for finding the screw and patching up the hole in my tire. I felt so taken care of leaving that day! I highly recommend Kinneys Tire and Auto, and any shop involved with Car Concepts. They will definitely take care of you!

After meeting with senior leaders of Kinney’s for follow up, they said my comments were “exaggerated” and told me to go elsewhere. I will!Warning friends, family, and contacts! Cannot stress enough to avoid this shop. Have had nothing but problems, have been overcharged, and extremely poor customer service. They simply cannot/will not back up their promises, nor adhere to their core values that’s posted online. Repairs remain after releasing the vehicle saying it was ready, was told no charge then billed, and left grease stains on new leather seats after promising a detailed cleaning for getting the seats dirty to begin with! Stay away from all Tire Pros/Car Concepts locations (especially Kinney’s)!

The company I work for takes all their vehicles to Kinneys for repairs, state inspections etc. From small cars to big commercial diesel vehicles. Very professional and time efficient. I take my personal vehicles there as well. Wouldnt go anywhere else. They wont try to stick you on fixing something that doesnt need fixing. Definition of honest mechanic

After bringing our 2014 Chevy Malibu to a different auto shop for a wheel alignment where it sat for two days before they even got back to us to tell us it didn’t need an alignment (although it was pulling to the right) we decided to get a second opinion from Kinney’s Auto.We are so happy we went Kinney’s!! We brought it in at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, they did the alignment for very inexpensive, and we got the car back by 5 PM that same day! They also told us that the front wheel bearings were bad and needed to be replaced so we brought it back the following day for that, and once again they were quick, efficient, professional, and friendly!! We have four vehicles that need servicing and we will bring them all to Kinney’s!Highly recommend!!!

I had brought my car in to get my transmission repaired after being told that it would be difficult at best and most likely would require a replacement. Long story short they got to repair done but unfortunately the car started acting up again a few weeks after Ive been there. I contacted the shop again with my issues and I was personally taken care of by Kinney who was very knowledgeable, understanding and got me squared away. My car is running great now and I couldnt be happier. I really appreciate the service from the shop and the care. Everyone was very nice along the way. I would highly recommend these guys!

I went to Kinneys for the State inspection. It was my first time using this establishment for anything.My experience was great! Not only were they polite- they were very punctual. I was in & out in under an hour!Now I do understand that if they were really busy, it might have taken a little while longer. Overall I rate Kinneys Automotive a four out of five stars. I rarely rate anything a five star unless they went backwards to accommodate my requests.

Just went to get my front brake pads replaced at the recommendation of Autonation dealership. I knew the dealership would be too expensive so I went to Kinneys Automotive. Kinney took me into the garage to show me the back ones. They needed replacing as well. He showed me that my rotors were in good shape. Long story short, he didn’t try to up sell me whatsoever. Excellent customer service and mechanical service. Good price for brake service. He will have my business from this point forward.

It seems to me that the owner diagnose every vehicle to determine the problem and the assign the proper mechanic. I had an issue with the online retailer that caused a delay but Kinney’s was very helpful and kept me updated on their end. Once they arrived, I was surprised that I could be fit in for an appointment so quickly. I opted to wait while the work was done instead of dropping my vehicle off & everything i needed was completed a lot sooner than i expected. The staff was pleasant. Tim was great!

Kinneys Automotive provides Excellent Customer ServiceI have been taking my truck here for the past 4 years and have always gotten the best service Ive experienced from any shop before. I recommend asking for Brian Anderson. From a simple oil change or brake service to a recent full transmission replacement, Brian has always come through. This past week, I had experienced issues with recently new brakes that were squealing on me. I had the brakes originally put on by Kinneys. They found that the pads were within warranty and for whatever reason were not doing the job. Kinneys not only warrantied the pads, but put a higher quality pad on and warrantied the labor as well. The Mechanic KC did an excellent Job and Im safely back on the road. To top it off the original brakes had caused excessive ware on the new rotors that were put on at the same time. Kinneys replaced these for me as well under warranty.These guys provide top notch service & stand by their products & service.Kinneys is a drive for me as a recently moved further away, but I cannot compare their level of service & cost to any closer shop especially not the dealership.Give these guys a try. You will not be sorry.

Steven is a great addition to the staff at Kinneys. The drop-off, maintenance and pick-up when it was done went super smooth. This time Kinneys repaired my old van rear a/c and repaired an throttle body part that is no longer sold by the manufacturer or after market sources. They got the job done in one day and it is now running smoothly and the a/c is blowing colder than ever.

I just had a shift cable replaced. The dealership offered a vague, imprecise quote of $700-800 and 4-5 days wait. Kinneys quoted $441, and as I returned to pay 3 days later, I found that that was the price.....after tax. Everyone was polite, everything was easy. Kinneys didnt try to sell me on maintenance that my owners manual says isnt due yet. Now that our cars are all past factory warranty, it seems to make more sense to have our work done at Kinneys instead of the dealership.

Vehicle was towed to Kinneys on October 14, 2014, after hours and would not start.Next day I talked with Brian and by days end had a diagnosis and plan for repair. Following day Brian called, car was ready and he suggested I have the headlight lens resurfaced and polished. I asked how they did this, got an explanation, and agreed to the service. Boy!! Was I surprised and very please when I picked up the car. The light lens was clear, polished and looked new. Later I drove the vehicle to another city and back at night. Surprise!! I could see so much better at night than I had for several YEARS. This car is seven years old. Now it is lighting the road just like a new vehicle, making my driving easier and safer for me and my family. Thank you Brian for the suggestion for this service.

I have had previous work done by them as well as another family member. This time was no exception. They are thorough but dont push to upsell other maintenance. Unfortunately this time the repair was way more than the car was worth so I declined the work. Our past work by them has always been fixed the first time. The service writers are very professional and knowledgeable, and a couple of the techs that I had contact with were very good. I will continue using them.

Kinneys has been taking care of my familys four cars for over three years now. The quality of the work is exceptional, they always work with my budget. The customer service is exemplary. They genuinely care about their customers, especially the elderly, first time car owners, and the single working mother. On 12/23 last year, I found out that I would be driving out of state the day after Christmas, I pulled into Kinneys, after they had closed and were getting ready to go home, asked if anyone could check the fluids on the car. They didnt just check the fluids, they added what was needed, aired up the tires, and didnt charge me a dime. There have been so many other instances of their caring and support. This is one of the only automotive repair shops that I will send my elderly mother to knowing that she will be taken care of, not taken advantage of. I highly recommend them. They do quality, caring work. They are just plain good people.

All work was done as promised, within the time frame. This included some relatively unique items on a 20 year old VW. They normally do not install customer supplied parts, but the owner made an exception in this case.

First Class organization. Estimates are accurate and workmanship is superior. I have been using Kenneys for more than 10 years for everything from oil changes to major suspension repairs and of course tires. Joe and his team are the best!

Had Mercedes Sprinter wheel alignment done at Kinney’s garage and they was quick and the price was right. Everybody wanted $200 to get it done Kenny did it for half the price . Honoring military discount !!
