Best pit ever. Ain’t for the cheap at heart but the best dang pit out there.

I absolutely LOVE my Pits and Spits pellet smoker. Over the past year I have used it more than I use my stove. I have made everything from brisket to fried chicken. Yeah that’s right I’ve done fried chicken on my pit. The workmanship is great and there customer service is even better.I just reached out to Pits and Spits with an issue my smoker. I spoke with Coy, he was very helpful and knew exactly what was wrong with my pit. Coy looked up when I purchased the pit and it the warranty went out last month. Well, Coy is going to take care of my issue at no cost and is supposed to mail out the replacement part this morning. Thank you Coy and thank you Pits and Spits!

Worst customer service ever! I called twice and no one answered, so I drove over an hour to get to their location to buy a few replacement parts for my pit. I have an older version with a small gas grill attached to the aide. I was told “we no longer make that model so I can’t help you.” I brought the gas parts with me hoping they could identify them and possibly tell me where they ordered them from or where I might be able to find them. He didn’t know what they were called nor could he tell me where they got them from. I then asked if I could purchase two replacement thermometers, and before I could even finish my sentence he said “order them online.” I explained to him that I tried, but the website wouldn’t allow me to add any items to the shopping cart. I love my pit and would love to keep it going, but with this piss poor and RUDE customer service I think I’ll just scrap this one and go with another custom pit builder in the area. Very disappointed!

Bought the maverick 850 and absolutely LOVE IT! The legs are welded to the barrel, it holds temp amazingly well, and I love the stainless lid and front shelf. This thing is beyond solid. The smoke output is amazing and I couldn’t be happier. Really glad I bought this vs other models out there. Most importantly, their support has been top notch. Always there to answer questions! Thanks!!!

Preferred BBQ pit retailer. Coy is knowledgeable with BBQ, the pits, and company history. He is a regular BBQ-er, so he speaks from experience. We bought two pits from them since the 1980s. The first is almost like new.

We bought the Ultimate Grill back in the mid to late 80s and has held up remarkably well. Very well built out of stainless and carbon steel materials that again, holds up very well for the long hall. Great in locking in and maintaining your cooking temperature for your low and slow cooks.

Bought a charcoal grill, and absolutely love it. Put it down on our ranch in South Texas. Friends and family love it! Our guests are always impressed by the quality of the product. I actually sold my green egg, and will never buy a grill or pitt anywhere else.

Extremely unprofessional. Showed up on a Friday afternoon to find they had closed prior to the time found online and their door. Called ahead and told them I would show up on Wednesday before they closed and they confirmed that they would be open until 1800 (as advertised) and I showed up at a quarter til and all gates were locked. Quality products but you cant buy them if theyre not open...I guess they dont want my business.

Ive owned my Pitts and Spitts Grill since 2004; and its still the best cooking grill in the history of charcoal grills / smokers. LOVE - LOVE - LOVE it!

Bought 1 about 10 - 12 yrs ago. Have moved 3 times & it was always moved with me. It has a 24 x 36 smoke area with water pan under it. Fire box is on the bottom of it.I do a brisket (12 - 15 lb) in it & more. Beer can chickens ribs etc.I have shorten up time in the smoker for a brisket from 12 - 15 hrs by smoking for 4 - 6 hrs, double wrapping in HD foil, put in oven @ 220 degres & go to bed.Next day it is great.I get the briskets from Snake River Farms.Smoker Bill
