Over the last two years, I have several chairs recovered. Houston Upholstery did a beautiful job on each chair placing the patterns in exactly the right place and recommending the best edging.Recently I had a spring just explode out of bottom of a fabric chair and rip the bottom. The cushions on my Bernhardt sofa were in need of freshening up, and the team at Houston Upholstery replaced the foam inserts with firmer foam, while saving the down surround in them. Getting my sofa reupholstered was such a great experience. I communicated with Marie every step of the way. I did not need to bring my sofa to the shop. She was able to give me quote just by looking at the photo. I gave them an inspiration photo of a West Elm sofa and they were able to update the look with clean lines. I paid a little extra to have the cushions replaced and it was well worth it. We dropped off and picked up the sofa to the warehouse. It took about 7 business days to complete. I was surprised on the quick turn around. I will definitely take my next project to Houston Upholstery and Design.

My Husband and I needed a new King size bed. We did the normal...gallery furniture...high fashion home, everything looked the same with low quality and high price. We even went to a place that did build to order beds that were outrageously priced on Washington street. Then we found Marie! The quality of bed in her showroom was very evident...AND we got to custom pick our fabric along with our bed design selection. We did wait for the completion of our custom bed...BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!! It is a modern design with the texture in fabric that we wanted. Marie used her design skills to help select the color to match the ideas we threw at her. It is a perfect fit. Very sturdy. Built to last and built right here in Houston. We are extremely excited and very happy...and the price was just under what most other furniture stores charge with no hassle or pesky salesman standing at the front door. We even had Marie do up a custom roll pillow in the same fabric as the bed. We love it and cant believe that all this service and quality ...seems like a secret that more people should know about! Great customer service! I ordered a king headboard, and took my own fabric to them to have it covered. They have MANY fabrics to choose from, so dont worry if you dont have your own.We have vaulted ceilings in our home, so Marie suggested to add a few inches to the height of the headboard. It looks great!When asking about studs, she suggested the strip option versus each stud being hand-placed, since I had two rows of studs on my giant headboard.Delivery was a cinch with great communication from both Marie and the driver. She even sent photos when the headboard was ready!Will definitely use again for my upholstery needs!
