Found the specific style lace to add to a wedding dress that we were looking for; plus other material for other projects. You need it..Im pretty sure they have it.

They have a lot of good options. I didnt find what I was looking for but I would return. They require masks if you arent vaccinated...but they werent asking...so I guess they go by the honor system. The staff was helpful and the prices were comparable to other fabric stores.

The best fabric store in Houston! I literally go to this place weekly. They have every kind of fabric you can think of and the younger staff is usually so helpful nd insightful. Being there is so inspirational. They just need to have sales and better or more coupons and it could be one of the greatest fabric stores in the south.

Huge selection for anything fashion fabric related including silks and dance wear nudes. Prices were reasonable, too. A must if youre creating something upscale or outside the norm.

The furniture and upholstery side is closed on Mondays. Nicest staff ever, but the fabrics on the quilting side are quite expensive for dated fabrics. 15.99 is high for older fabrics sitting on the shelves for years...they have almost the same things I saw in 2018. I am ordering on line, sorry to say, as I truly want to support local, but they need to keep up with on line stores.

This place is a dream. High quality silks and beaded fabrics, but also great linen and cotton selection. Price range is a bit more expensive than Joanns, but youre paying for the quality. Great experience!

Best Fabric store in Houston for high end designer fabrics and accessories. I brought my mother her to buy a beaded fabric for a gown and found exactly what she wanted at a very reasonable price. The ladies were very kind and helpful. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Silk Charmeuse, Stretch silk...I was looking for a very specific yellow for my Chanel jacket lining replacement and Hi Fashion Fabrics had the exact colour and fabric match! I was also happy with the service which was prompt, friendly and generous. I had a great time.

Such an amazing variety of quality fabrics. Many cloths are way too expensive for the hobbyist, but there are thrifty options in the mix. I think their pricing is more honest than the bigger fabric stores. Great service, and they actually cut fabric in a straight line so that you get how much you asked for.

The amount of beautiful and luxurious fabrics is almost overwhelming (in a good way)!! Great prices for silk dupioni. Customer service was fantastic. My mom and I were looking for dupioni that was one of the displays, but there was not enough on the roll for what we needed. One of the employees graciously informed us we could by the fabric (whole piece) that was part of the display. Because pins tend to make marks in silk, the store offered us 50% discount. Great experience! Will be back for more silk at great prices.

They have tons of fabric for every designer. If youre an organized person and looking for quilting supplies...you just might go into convulsions here. This place made my head hurt. I couldnt focus or get inspired because things were just piled up on tables and the calicos were just thrown about and stacked on shelves. There was no order to the store other than where the lace and trimmings were concerned. The staff 100% gets 5 stars. They are a lovely set of folks and know their store. But to the average person looking for inspiration...youd be better off sticking to Joann fabrics, Hancock Fabric or the Walmart fabric department.

Great variety can be pricey but the employees are usually helpful except for the younger lady in the back section she was rude and seemed bothered that i needed help .

Prices not posted, got ripped off when I asked for half a yard of seemingly inexpensive fabric. It seemed equivalent to what Id get at Hobby Lobby for a few dollars, and after the (rude) lady cut it she said itd be 60-something dollars a yard. I appologized and explained I had no idea it was so much, since it didnt seem like it should be and the prices werent listed, but she insisted I had to pay since she already cut it. If they have a policy like that they need to have a sign stating so, and they should list the prices up front. To add insult to injury, there wasnt much left after she cut it and she threw the rest away---which, based on what she was quoting me would have supposedly been $50 of product.

I always spend way too much money here. They have a huge selection of quality fabric in everything from apparel to quilting cotton; its like a candy factory for a seamstress. Ive walked in intending to only purchase that last quarter yard needed to finish my current project and walked out with two more new projects in my bag. At this rate I will never finish my project backlog, and I cant say I regret that.

Was kicked out of store for not having a mask on after telling them I have a medical condition that does not allow me to wear one. This is discrimination based on medical reasons and they will be hearing from my lawyer.

Im surprised at all the poor reviews. Its definitely true that you can get less expensive fabrics at certain stores on Fondren or elsewhere, and sometimes the service at High Fashion is a little nonchalant, but the selection is pretty fantastic and I think the store is easily navigated. I once took sewing classes there, though they are no longer offered, and when they were selling sewing machines I bought a wonderful Viking for 1/2 off. Its also across the street from High Fashion home which has great (though very expensive) upholstery selections. If nothing else, go there to get inspired!

Their variety is awesome but the floor salespeople are clearly not interested in being of help, running in the opposite direction when they see you. Whatever you want will be out of fashion by the time you get it. The employees up front try harder. If the variety was available elsewhere I’d certainly go there instead.Their pricing also reflects that they know they are the largest source in town. Not competitive at all in outdoor fabric pricing where there are several other sources here in Houston.

I was very impressed the first time I discovered this place decades ago and I continued coming here to this days. They sell all types of fabrics from the simple cotton fabrics to fabrics for formal dresses for custom made and to more elaborate lace and sequence fabrics.

Vast variety of fabrics and sewing needs. One could easily spend an entire day there going through and deciding on fabric. The staff is very knowledgeable and can quickly point you in the right direction to get you questions resolved and needs met.

Before moving to Houston, I had my (now) husband bring me each visit. From fine fabrics to exciting cotton prints, their selection wont disappoint. Always staff available for questions, and theyre knowledgeable beyond what youll find at any JoAnns. They always greet me by name, too.

Material Mecca! Enjoyed getting lost in the yards! The glass cases hold some of the most beautiful crystal and rhinestone trims I have seen anywhere(and I have Haberman Fabrics as the measuring line) Good selection of high end goods. Laces, beaded materials, satins, silks and many other offerings. There is a second large room with knits, cottons, faux fur and tulle. A must see if you are even a novice at sewing.
